Jin's BBQ was great! We got the pork aged in beeswax which I've never seen anywhere else before and the flavor was so unique and tasty! We also got beef bulgogi which was delicious as well. Every single one of the many sides they brought out was so good and they're free refills! I really enjoyed trying a little bit of all the different things. The waiters/waitresses were all very friendly and someone was always there to help cook the meat. The restaurant had a fun vibe with upbeat music and several drink options.
Jin is the real deal. As soon as we were seated, they quickly brought out the banchan which was plentiful and refilled as many times as we wanted. We ordered the Jin Combo 1 small, which is for 2-3 persons at $78. For those that think this place is expensive, it's actually a good value. There was plenty of food for the two of us, and we probably ate too much, so could have used a third person. The quality of the meats is definitely a step above AYCE Korean joints. Plus, you get a soup and steamed egg, so there's no shortage of food to leave you full and satisfied. The service was great and our waiter made sure everything was filled and often checked in with us. We will definitely be back.
Excellent food! I came here years ago and it was delicious but a bit on the pricier side. I came here again and I think the owners changed. The meat quality is the same - top notch and delicious. The brisket was probably the best in bbq I've had in the U.S. The banchan was all amazing and I love all the different options. The tomato basil was my favorite and the Japchae. I also love that they had three different types of sauces. We also got Terra and tried a sampler of their makkuli ice drink and it was amazinggggg. For the four of us, we spent about $150 total. I'd definitely come back again!
It's my favorite Korean bbq in Arizona! I came there twice and they are so good. You can tell the meat quality is there, although you need to grill them by yourself, but everything even the banchan (side dishes) and the steam egg, corn cheese, radish were so good. It's definitely on the pricer side, but it's a good spot for a group of friends/family to share and have more options to eat.
I went with a few coworkers and had a great time! We had their "Jin Combo B" and it was plenty for the three of us to split and take home some leftovers. The meats were all qute good, and their setup included refills on all the sides. The setup they have with the trays of kimchi egg and cheese corn in particular was a clever, albeit time-limited feature. Although we managed to beat the Friday evening rush, the servers were still very prompt despite the place filling up. I would definitely bring my friends back here!
We stopped in for a late lunch at Jin BBQ before heading to the Innings Festival at Tempe Beach Park, and wow... easily the best lunch decision we made all day. Everything was so delicious! This is officially my new favorite Korean BBQ spot in Arizona. We live about 30 minutes away, but the food is absolutely worth the drive. The inside setup even reminded me of the Korean BBQ restaurants I grew up going to in California, which made the whole experience feel extra nostalgic. Service was good, the vibe was great, and every bite hit the spot. We'll definitely be back. Jin BBQ is a gem.
My favorite side is the konjac noddles so I had to ask for seconds. The meats were good. Try to wrap the beef or pork with a piece of kimchi salad and dip it in the sauce. Tell me what you think. I also had a cold bottle of Terra beer. It was good. The service is top notch. Enjoy!
I was a little worried about the price when I first sat down. Then they started bringing out all the appetizer dishes. There were so many. Between those and the salad, the steamed egg, and the stew, I was almost full before the meat even arrived. It was worth every penny. The staff were very friendly and attentive as well.
Best Korean BBQ in the entire state. I come here almost every other month because the meat quality is incredible and the sides are both delicious and unlimited. It's the classic style where you cook your own meat and pair it with all the sides for extra flavor. One of my absolute favorites is the marinated short rib. It's so tender and flavorful, especially with some radish and kimchi. I never liked kimchi much until I tried it here. Turns out I just wasn't eating good kimchi before, because theirs is easily some of the best I've ever had. Service is quick and efficient, and each table has a call button so your server comes right away whenever you need something. It's the perfect spot for a group of four to six to enjoy great food and good company!
Been coming here since 2021- banchan have changed. Was told egg was by request only. Still delicious just different. Servers are always very attentive and nice. Favorite kbbq in az right now after moving from Garden Grove,CA. We also love the kpop music here.
We always love to come here!! Our entire family absolutely loves the food quality and is always consistent. The service is superb and the manager Justin, is always the best.
Had a good dinner tonight! Service is always great here. I will say though, after coming here for the last two years, it seems they have recently changed ownership and/or menu offerings. Banchan sides have changed slightly and they no longer offer the additional sides (corn cheese, green onion salad, grilled kimchi) as part of the main menu. This is definitely one of the better KBBQ spots in the Phoenix area! The quality just isn't quite the same.
Had such an amazing dinner here at Jin BBQ tonight with my family! The ambiance inside has a more lively feel with the new revamp and the K-pop playlist sets the mood for a night of eating! The new menu offers an array of different side dishes and meats that weren't there before! Coming from someone who is often indecisive, I LOVE that there are new combo options that help guide you through the various cuts of meat. The new small side dishes (banchan) that come with your meal when ordering is so delicious as well! I love how the staff is never shy with refills when asking for more!! Speaking of the staff here, they were all so attentive to small details and super friendly:) They were all quick to notice when our table needed water, sides, a grill change, etc... It feels as though the workers here take pride in what they do and what they serve! All in all, I will be back again sometime soon to bring in new friends to eat here! I have always loved the quality of meat here, the fun upbeat vibes, and the friendly staff members that create a cheerful ambiance.

I think this place is overrated and overpriced. We came here on my brother's birthday. We had to pay $200 for 5 people. Even though my parents are old and don't eat much, they still said that the meal couldn't fill them up. I have tried many KBBQ restaurants that are don't have ayce option like this place. Those restaurants usually more expensive than AYCE ones, but they have high quality meat. However, at this place, my family ordered a dish of Premium Galbi/Kalbi. They gave us only 2 slices of marinated Galbi and charged us $32 for that. The meat doesn't taste different from the meat in AYCE restaurant. They also do not have more options of dipping sauce, only sesame oil and salt. Overall it is ok, but there is nothing special to come back. read more

I would not recommend this place. It is not AYCE which is fine if the meat is better quality, unfortunately that was not the case. Our meat, was extremely fatty and some was very tough. We do Korean barbecue several times a year so I do know the difference between good and bad. This was our first time trying the spot as the other locations we prefer had long wait times. Now I understand why it was so easy to get in promptly. The side dishes were ok and the service was ok. Half of our grill was not working, the grills are extremely dirty, and they do not change the grates regularly, which creates an excessive amount of smoke. I had to step outside multiple times to clear my eyes when we got home everyone had to shower due to the smell of smoke and food. You could look around the restaurant and see how smoked out it was not even sure how this place pass code I can imagine that eating food off their grills is likely not healthy due to all the caked on black char. Sometimes you don't know until you try it, not sure how this place has so many good reviews. It's also very small and minimal space on the tables. The space is so small they have to bring a tray to sit next to your table for your meat. Unfortunately not a fan. read more

My first time coming in with my family. Service was prompt, even if they are under staffed. The people that work here are truly kind and sweet & I LOVE the sign when u come in where they state "HATE IS NOT WELCOMED HERE" Love that! I gave up all other korean BBQ places , and gladly came here to Jin. It was so clean and the food was delicious! Brisket! Brisket & more brisket. I love Chadol Begui but their thick plain brisket is DELICIOUS. I love this place. I am going to be back with more people. This place deserves service and it was so busy today, we came right when they opened and good thing we did. A bunch of people poured in right after. This was a great spot! Also their Kimichi Jjigae is delicious Gosh everything was just perfect! 10/10 I would come ready to spend money cause we couldn't just stop at one Jin Combo. read more

Seated before estimated wait time. Waitress Crystal was very accommodating in answering my questions that I had. Ended up going with beef combo, ribeye and beef intestines. Another waiter pleasantly offered to change my grill when he saw that it was burning. Great service. Felt like I was in a club. I love the vibe. My favorite was the egg and corn cheese and those are unlimited refills. Huge parking lot. So parking isn't a problem. Con: If you're like me and you love sauces. This might not be the place for you. But I made do with the brisket sauce they provided. Wasn't really flavorful. If they step it up on the sauce game this place would be great. Overall, I'd still come back. read more

Ordered nangmeyon, tofu kimchi, rip eye. They were all pretty decent. I realized Phoenix does not make dishes sweet. People are used to eat more savory food. Tofu kimchi wasn't sweet usually they are quite sweeter side kimchi. Ripeye was tender and juicy. The restaurant had a few side dishes. Not even a single banchan just pickle and kimchi. That was a bit disappointing but I assume that is what is happening around Arizona, people might not enjoy those as much as back in Bay and Korea. The service was quick and efficient. Jin BBQ is one of the best dine-in experience I've ever had! The staff and servers are fast and very accommodating, making sure there's no issues at all. My favorite selection of meat here is the brisket! I would recommend coming here with at least one other person because the portion sizes are pretty big. For parties of 4+ I would highly recommend making a reservation because it can get pretty packed. Overall amazing experience and is my go to Korean barbecue spot! read more

Talk about a meat lover's paradise! What I like about KBBQ is the interactive cooking experience. Placing meat on the grill gives you control over how well you want the meat is cooked. We chose the Jin Combo 1, and it is enough to feed four people. The meat servings are modest with the combo, and it comes with vegetable sides. However, it does not come with rice. Eating at this restaurant was an enjoyable cooking experience with family. read more

UPDATE: really this review should be a 4.5. I later discovered their japchae to be below avg. They need to rinse their noodles and use more onions and less oil. They're too greasy and heavy. It might be OK for dine-in, but not for delivery. ------------ I lived in Korea on two separate occasions for a couple of years. I immersed myself in the culture. For example I ate anywhere that Koreans ate. I hate traditional foods and more modern Korean cuisine. And don't judge me but I even ate dog stew (Po-shing Tong) prepared in restaurants and at home, sliced meat and in soup. As a sidenote: don't judge a 3000-year-old culture within your modern scale. There is no context. anyway, at this barbecue place I ordered kimchi soup and Jap Chae and bibimbap ( ) I hope I spelled all of that right. This restaurant taste authentic to me. It's a little bit tamed, So I believe people who aren't the Milyer with Korean food will find many options to enjoy. Are usually judge people by their kimchi soup. This one was a bit water down and was missing some more expensive ingredients, but for the price... Which I believe was under $10... I am totally satisfied. I'm happy to have found a restaurant I can use with door Dash whenever I'm missing my time in Korea. What a beautiful country with beautiful people with delicious food and wonderful culture and self-less history! Really good food here. Great pricing (especially after the minimum wage hike & pandemic overreaction!) It's a great a place for family, kids and friends. You could cook the raw meat/veggie by yourselves so it's super appropriate for socializing. Meanwhile, the freshness of the raw material and the fact that you basically cook by yourself, also provided us a peace in mind (since we knew what we eat). The place was almost complete full though very good sign. Tons of options whether you want to use the grill or not! This is now my favorite KBBQ. I go to Ktown in NYC and LA, and this one reminded me of the one I love in NYC. We got the premium beef combo medium size, and I will be back for it soon. Very soon. It was amazing! The qualify of the beef is superb. It melts in your mouth! It reminded me of a sake bar in Japan that serves only A5 beef and sake, and the one of the choices tasted the same. The stew was delicious. The bbq grill has cheesy corn and eggs, just like my favorite KBBQ places across the country. Service was excellent! They have many flavors of soju. I had not seen kalamansi flavor before, and it was great. I live the lychee flavor also. As for the banchan, The green onion salad was very good. The radish was good. I would like to see more banchan, as I am accustomed to more dishes and we love them, but it was adequate. Overall, the quality of the meat is what blew me away. I must return. read more

At first, I was skeptical about having dinner here because they were not all you can eat. But I was totally wrong, the combinations provide you with plenty of meat and sides to fill you up. Me and two of my close girlfriends ordered the Beef Combo with brisket, boneless short rib, and beef tongue. Plus a side of the crispy chicken. Everything was tasty. The sides consisted of cheesy corn, potatoes, and steamed egg. My favorite was the beef tongue and the kimchi stew, the tongue did not need a lot of grilling and was very tender. And I love that the staff made sure to change our grill out every so often. Also, another great add on was their soju drinks, which they have plenty of different flavors to choose from. read more
I love Korean BBQ and have been to few Korean BBQ restaurants, but this was my first time at Jin BBQ. My son picked Jin to celebrate his 18th birthday. We went on a Monday and the restaurant was not really busy and we were seated right away. Our server explained the menu and the choices/combos since it was our first time. We picked combo #1 with the kimchi stew. It was plenty of food for our party of 3. The sides are unlimited. I enjoy all the meats and the quality was better than any of the other places I've tried. One of my favorite things about this restaurant is there is a call button if you need your server. Although we didn't use it much since our server was really good about checking on us and making sure we had everything we needed but I can see it coming in handy on a busier night. The prices seem a little more expensive than other places but I think it's worth it because the quality is better and the service is amazing. We have been coming to this location for about a year now and I figured I would finally review this place! Even with the COVID 19 restrictions in place, JIN BBQ is such an amazing establishment. I will break this down to make it a little easier to read. Service: When you walk in, you are immediately greeted by anyone of the many front end staff. They take your temp via a machine that is super cool looking. Get you seated, answer your questions, have a button for help that sounds a beep to all the staff.... I mean I feel pampered whenever we go to this restaurant. When COVID isn't a thing, they were able to come to our table, help us cook and teach us about the meat. Food: So, the price of the food is a little bit on the higher side, but I don't mind it one single bit. The quality of the different cuts, the consistency of service, and the amount of sides really make it a worth while stop. I love the combo's they have for the steak/meat. I usually will get the strip, bulgogi, and I think flank? SO GOOD. Overall: The cooking method is awesome as the grill is right in the middle, with a vent that comes down overhead. Tables are big enough to fit 4 comfortably with all the food. I would also get the other menu items that are made in house, as they taste great as well. If you're looking for an amazing place to have Korean BBQ, you don't have to look any further. read more

In the mood for Korean BBQ! Jin BBQ is the spot. The meats are fresh with quality cuts. We ordered Jin combo 1. The waiter said it was for 2-3 people but the way my family eats, it's good for 1.5, haha. We also ordered spicy cold noodle which was delicious and pairs perfectly with BBQ. The grill also comes with steamed egg, cheese corn and potatoes. We didn't know about the egg so we ordered egg volcano which was delicious. The only thing we didn't like was the kimchi pancake. It was thick and doughy and very unpleasant to eat. Don't recommend the pancake, but highly recommend the BBQ! Enjoy!! read more

Our cold noodles are made with buckwheat noodles!
Do you do all you can eat?
No, they charge per item but quality of meat is much better than all you can eat places.
Are you guys actually open until 2 am?
Only on Fridays and Saturdays! Last call for food is at 1am, but the restaurant itself is open until 2am.
