I rarely leave negative reviews but I did not appreciate the customer service at this place. I walked up to ask if they had time to get me in and the gentlemen without looking up mumbled something I didnt understand at first. So I clarified and he seemed irritated for the confusion. I realized he was asking me to pull up to the next bay. I didn't know they wanted you to stay in your car "which I totally understand with covid precautions". So as I got out of my car a lady rudely told me to get back in my car. I asked the guy if I could go across the street and come back in a few minutes and again without looking up said "nope". I am cool with the policy of people staying in their cars and I wouldn't care but just be nice about it. I had a time crunch so I said thanks anyway with no response from either employee. I realize I'm downtown and it's jiffy lube but just a little customer service goes a long way. I gave 3 stars as to not impact their rating which seem overall positive. read more

I just took my car for an oil change to this Jiffy Lube on 4th Ave for the first time and I must say I am not satisfied at all with the service. Here are the primary reasons: 1. They always try to up sell you things you don't really need. 2. They are are already more expensive than most other oil change facilities and the advertise price of $41 is only for the first 4 quarts and not the standard 5 quarts like in most other places. That means that if you have a car that takes more than 4 quarts of oil and most new cars, specially imports take more than that, you will pay an additional $6/quart (For example, my Volvo S80 V6 took almost 7 quarts) 3. They said my windshield wipers were shot and needed replacement. I know that is now true for two reasons. First, I just replaced them about 4 weeks ago with a fresh pair of the top brand. Second, I checked them myself right there on the spot and they are still good as new. This makes me doubt any other up sell tactic they offer. 4. After refusing any up sell options and commenting that I will be using my $15 off coupon, mysteriously they said they could not perform the oil change b/c my oil plug on the bottom of the car was an "emergency plug" that need to be replaced first. I have always had my service done at reputable places and somehow I have a feeling they switched the plugs on me, but of course I can not prove it. 5. There was a nice young lady in the waiting area with me and I also overheard how they were trying to take advantage of her lack of car knowledge to up sell her on things she did not need. I would not recommend this particular Jiffy lube to anybody. They don't seem to be very friendly and are a bit shady to say the least. You would be best served taking your business to another place. read more

I feel hustled. The mechanics told me my car was special and it only took a certain type of oil that cost $80 and that I didn't quality for the $29.99 special. After multiple conversations with coworkers who were more car savy than I was, I learned that you can use any type of oil and I was the victim of a shady transaction. Do not make the mistake of going to this Jiffy Lube and dealing with the shady employees. Or if you must, based on convenience, do not allow yourself to get hustled like I did. read more

These folks are great. Went in around 3pm and was out 20 minutes later with a full oil change, new brake light, car vacuumed all around, and windows cleaned. Fast, efficient, and great. I'm glad I called despite all the good reviews. The woman answering the phone sounded like a lazy SOB doing her nails, couldn't be bothered to answer any questions, but she grudgingly did. Turns out she didn't know that there were different types of synthetic oil. When asked what type of oil she recommended for my vehicle (first of all she didn't know anything about a very common SUV) she just kept saying "synthetic". My owners manual and the dealership insist only one type of synthetic oil can be used for my vehicle, so I kept pressing her on it, knowing the answer but wanting to hear what she'd say they'd put in it. She finally said they only carry Pennzoil but it'd be fine for my vehicle. It's not. Gosh, I am all for women working in places like this, but at least learn a thing or two about what you're talking about. Also during the call it started as a quote for $79 + tax and by the time I got off the phone the price had gone up to $129+tax and "oh, we don't carry your air filter". Geez, I feel sorry for the folks who just drive in there and trust them to do the right things to their vehicles; who knows what you're getting. read more

My car's warning sign notified me that it recommended oil filter maintenance so I went into this Jiffy Lube closest to me in central Seattle, as I've had positive experiences with Jiffy Lubes in other cities. There was no line on Sunday afternoon when I visited and I received prompt service for my request for an oil and filter change. Within half an hour I was out. They were friendly and courteous. They showed me my dirty air filter and offered to replace it for $15. When the system ended up charging $30 he offered to do it for the original quote price (but ultimately the filter they had on hand didn't fit my car). Otherwise I didn't feel aggressively upsold. My one gripe is price: for full synthetic oil, the charge was $90, which seems higher than normal, even after the $10 discount coupon off their site. read more

I stopped at the Burien Jiffy Lube this morning for an oil change and was greeted with such friendly technicians I was amazed. I forgot that I had my two small dogs with me and Tim Turner said it was fine he would work around them so we could go to the restaurant next door for breakfast. I had a complete safety check done as well as an oil change I replaced my wiper blades and a burned out tail light. One stop service is so great in this busy world. Both Greg and Cole were soo helpful. In changing my battery they found that I needed a new starter and my car wouldn't start. Cole drove me FAR out of the way to get the piece so I wouldn't have to uber and installed it. They took the very best care of me and I can't thank them enough. I needed an oil change ASAP and found this place in Belltown. When I pulled up, I was helped right away by all the employees on site (one took car info, one opened hood and prepped for oil change, one vacuumed interior, and the other escorted me to wait area. Wow! Greg was the person that helped me get set up, explained to me the services, recommendations, and charges. I loved the thorough walk-through and attention I was given as a customer. I was there for a total of about 15-20 minutes tops! Super Fast!!! So far BEST place I've been to for an oil change for sure. I wish I would have gotten everyone's name but either way, this Jiffy Lube team is awesome and will definitely be returning when my next oil change is due. Thanks guys for the help yesterday. He threw air filter on the desk calling it "filthy" and was visibly upset when I refused a new one. No people skills, customer service skills!! I know it's their job to squeeze as much out of the customer as possible and they are pretty fast but the double talk and the quotes $30 less than the final cost is really irritating. I drive roughly 5k-6k miles per month as a rideshare driver. These guys are phenomenal at what they do. I'm always in and out swiftly. Giving me the ability to quickly get back to work and not be slowed down. They always give a discount to Uber and Lyft drivers. So, if you need anything and you drive rideshare, come see these guys. I created my yelp profile to write negative review about this location ! I dont know how Jiffy lube is in general but this location if definitely bad. Sure The guys were fast but that was because they didnt do anything except changing the oil. As per their signature service, they are supposed to check all the fluid levels, tyre pressure, wiper blades etc. They didnt do any of these. I noticed this and specifically asked if they checked the tyre pressure. And the guy had guts to say he did. So I asked him if he checked the wiper blades and he again said yes. Now I knew wiper blades had problem as they were making loud screeching sound eveytime I use them and I was planning to change it that day. So I asked him to check wiper blades again. He did and said the blades have gone bad and needs replacement. After this since I caught him red handed, I made him do every single check I am supposed to get as part of what I was paying. They had to top off coolant which proves they didnt check that earlier. I am not going back there again and will advise you against it. read more

Overfilled oil by .5-1 quart. Aggressive salesman took advantage of someone with limited knowledge of cars to pressure sell some $12 useless thing. They did empty 1/2 quart oil, after we checked an hour later (and stressed about it.) Thanks, but that's unacceptable, that's all they are supposed to do. Change oil. Correctly. Without selling you crap and stressing you out with pressure sales. Update : I'll add a star - they called the next day and apologized and offered a free oil change the next time we come in. While I haven't had a service at this location, I can certainly speak to the character of the people that work here. We had a small car accident and pulled into this location. The staff brought us water, directed us to the bathroom, and let us use their phone to get a tow truck. Even though we blocked one of their two entrances for over two hours, they never complained or hurried us along. Very courteous people who I would definitely trust my car with. read more

Ok I'm going to try to make this story short..because it's so incredible I am tempted to take my time with it. But alas, I want you to stick with me through this adventure, so short version it is! Very sadly, I just had to move to Bellevue..so I had an oil change at their Main St location last weekend. Apparently, my battery (probably the original one in my beast '99 Explorer) was in much needed upgrade. So they put in a new battery, showed me my pathetic battery cables and told me to get them changed asap! Ok I said, onto the next 4 errands that morning. Have I mentioned moving sucks yet? Quick shot to me in Queen Anne sending off some early Christmas presents. Jump back into car..car dead. Car really dead. No power, nada. I've been driving for an hour after the battery switch..wtf! I don't know what to do, so I call Jiffy Lube in Bellevue. They gently remind me that my battery cables were indeed, pathetic, but they said they'd try to help. They call the Jiffy Lube on 4th Ave and see if someone can come help. Soon there after, 2 associates pull up in the pooring rain and try to help. After several minutes of tweeking the cords (which was scary mind you), they get it started. Ok now don't turn it off! Umm..ok. 2 options- I can either drive to Ballard, get some cables (don't turn off your car!!) and come back to Jiffy Lube and they will personally put them on if I want (uh, yes please) or I can just come back to Jiffy Lube 4th Ave Wonderland and they'll go get cables and put them on. Door #2 please! Cut to an hour later..Mao (who is a hero, seriously) drove his OWN car to Sears and bought my cables. Put them on, greated me with a proud smile and then did something unbelievable...did not charge me for any of it. Pardon?? When I lived in Queen Anne, I went to this particular Jiffy Lube for my beast upkeep. I was always impressed with their service. The managers, the staff, all of them..are extremely good at what they do. But this..this story folks..was one of the best customer services experiences of my life! From a Jiffy Lube!? A sincere thank you to BOTH Jiffy Lube locations..I am forever grateful. And I promise to bring ya'll some Top Pot Donuts the next time I'm in your neighborhood. Cheers- read more

Never been to a oil change station that treated me like a boss. I drove up and was greeted by a friendly guy, possibly their manager or supervisor. He held the door open for me as I walked into their seating area and poured me a cup of fresh brewed coffee. A few minutes into my coffee, he asked me what kind of oil I wanted and whether I wanted any extra lube service done on my vehicle. Today I came in for an oil change. I was greeted my Joseph. He was nice & asked me what I needed help with. I let him know just an oil change & asked how long it would be. He said it wouldn't be that long & that I could have a seat in the lobby & help myself to the coffee while I wait. Shelly & Mao were the employees who worked on my car.... They were great. They had also let me know that I had a light out that I had no idea about & that I should get that fixed too. About 20 mins later they were done & I was getting cashed out & on my way. I wasn't able to take my car to the Toyota dealership on this day so I apprehensively brought it here. They were changing my oil before I even had the chance to talk to the guy who tried so sell me a bunch of other shit that I don't need and when I asked him if I could just pick up antifreeze and do it myself for that price he shrugged like he was angry and started naming off a bunch of other shit I don't need. So a $30 oil change turned into $63. I would NOT recommend this place. No wonder they were standing on the corner begging for business. Lesson learned. read more

It was raining very hard today. While driving I noticed what appeared to be steam coming from my engine. I thought my engine was overheating, and I was right. I pulled into this Jiffy Lube, and even though they were very busy, Jordan said to wait a few minutes and he would check my car. What he found was I was almost completely out of oil. I told him I knew I needed an oil change, but he was too busy today. He put a couple of quarts in to get me by and when I offered to pay, he didn't charge me. Wow. He's won my business. I am going back later this week for an oil change. Jordan is an asset to this company. I am very impressed with the outstanding customer service he gave to me. read more

They were waving a sign on the street for $5 off so on a whim I swung in, they pounced on my car, were quick and friendly then charged me $75 (after the discount)!!! for a simple oil change??? Guess I should have asked first. I suppose I was upselled fancy oil. They also tried to sell me an air cleaner because mine had 15,000 miles on it (give me a break) but weren't pushy about it.
