Matthew came to my house to do an oil change on my Honda Odyssey and the experience was fantastic. He even called ahead to let me know he'd be running a bit late due to traffic -- that kind of communication is rare and much appreciated. Once he arrived, he was friendly and professional, and did clean, efficient work right in my driveway. He walked me through what he checked without any upsell pressure. No waiting room, no dropping the van off -- mobile service this good is hard to find. Highly recommend asking for Matthew! read more

What a gem. Located in Seattle's South End (Souf End if you know), their mobile service is so convenient. They were fast to respond, scheduled quickly, arrived on time, and didn't try to haggle. The prices are absolutely fair and probably a little low for the mobile service convenience. I'm thrilled and will refer them without hesitation. read more

Jonathan is incredible. He's saved me twice now. First was when I got a random popped tire, Jonathan came to save the day very quickly after calling. He clearly mentioned the price after I showed him the photo of my tire, no hidden costs or anything and arrived right on time. I was back on the road within 10-15 minutes. The second time, Jonathan came to replace my battery and this time we only chatted over text - very easy and clear communication. I highly recommend Tao Mobile for any sort of mobile car repair in Seattle! read more

Highly recommend Tao's services! I booked them to come by and replace my brake pads, but the mechanic checked each one and told me they were still in great shape and didn't need to be replaced. He also ran a full diagnostic on my car and took the time to explain everything clearly. Super honest, professional, and overall a great experience! read more

Jonathan is the real honest, skilled, and reliable. He worked on my 2018 Acura ILX, doing an oil change, transmission fluid replacement, and spark plug swap, and I couldn't be more impressed with the service. From start to finish, Jonathan was transparent, communicative, and clearly knew his stuff. He explained everything before getting started, answered my questions thoroughly, and didn't try to upsell me on anything unnecessary. It's rare to find a mechanic who has this level of integrity and pride in their work. If you're looking for someone who does the job right and treats your car like their own, Jonathan is your guy. I'll absolutely be using his services again and recommending him to friends. read more

Hi highly recommend Jonathan -- he's one of those rare, honest mechanics who truly puts the customer first. He deserves beyond 5-star review. I originally contacted him because my brakes were squeaking, and I assumed they needed to be replaced. Jonathan was professional, thorough, and meticulous. He replaced the rear brakes, but I continued to hear the squeaking afterward. I gave him a call and without hesitation, he came back to check things out. Turns out, a small pebble was lodged in one of the front brake pads and a screw was loose. He fixed both issues on the spot, free of charge. The squeaking was reduced substantially. Jonathan's commitment to quality work and genuine care of his customers is hard to come by these days. I wouldn't hesitate to call him again or recommend him to anyone in need of a trustworthy mechanic. read more

Great mechanic service, highly recommend. They were kind, on time, quick to complete the job, the price was unbeatable, and I'll be a returning customer! They cared enough to show me some wear and tear that I'd expected might be there, but was glad to be alerted of the state the parts were in. It shows they cared about the integrity of the car and the safety of the customer. I was impressed and will be calling on them in the very near future for any and all repairs they can do! Thanks again you guys! read more

They responded to my request in a timely fashion. The others through Yelp struggled to even get back to me.

Tao's Mobile Mechanic and Francis were amazing. He showed up early, walked me through the process, changed my front end brakes and was packed up in less than 45mins. Confirmed an appointment and then did not show up. Would not reply to text or calls. Been waiting for 4 hrs. Then says they double booked.

They were quick and professional however they spilled a sizeable amount of oil underneath the vehicle and did a so-so job trying to clean or wipe it up so now I being fined by my Condo Association $300 and have to have it professionally cleaned so a big negative experience. read more

This is the best mechanic (Jonathan)I've had in years. He came to the house and arrived ON TIME, diagnosed the problem in just a few minutes but the best part was this: he told us it was probably these 2 little sensors for under $30 and that my son-in-law could do it himself easily. He took the time to explain exactly how to do it. He told us that if that didn't work it might be the alternator but try these sensors first. Sure enough it was the sensors and now my car is running great!! Also, his flat rate to come out was $50-$75 cheaper than any of the others I called. My son in law said he was friendly and very knowledgeable. We will DEFINITELY use Jonathan in the future for all our car repairs. read more
