Naoth Automotive is now my forever go to mechanic shop. A previous large automotive shop quoted me over $2000 for some simple work. It was so bewildering that I never want back to them. I took my car to Naoth and they were able to show me what was needed and what wasn't, and quoted me for a fraction of the cost of the other large chain corporation. They're reliable, honest, reasonable, and trustworthy. Take your car here and you won't get taken advantage of like other shops do read more

been going here for 4 years and they've never done me wrong. I will go to Naoth for everything from oil changes to transmission replacements. They always charge a fair price. As of this writing, it's 130$ per hour. Jun (the main mechanic) works magic. Paul answers quickly and schedules through phone or text. Ricky is knowledgeable and helpful. I always appreciate the fast and quality service they provide! read more

I usually take my car to the dealership, but I believed the reviews and it was a nightmare. They put a big hole in my intake and told me a rat chewed a huge hole. I said it wasn't right, I live in an area with no infestation and he stood by his story. I took my car immediately to the dealership and they said it was lies and rats don't bite huge straight holes. They said there would be other damage to all the other tubes and wires and there wasn't. I now have to pay to have the damage fixed.. Not only did they cause damage but he Lied about the price and added a couple hundred on my final bill. Do not take your car here. read more

I had a radiator leak and I posted a service request for replacement on Yelp. They were the first to respond, nearby and quoted me a fair price after I had someone else diagnose my problem. I messaged them and asked if I could have my car towed there and dropped off today so they could work on it tomorrow for my appointment. They had a cancellation today and managed to fit me in at noon today and managed to finish the job by 5pm. When I arrived to pick up my car, they took me into the shop and showed me what was broken on my old radiator. My car is now back to normal again and I'm happy to be on the road again, thank you for your quick response and communication throughout the whole process, your quick and quality work on the repair and your fair and honest pricing. Will look forward to bringing my vehicles back again for things that are above my skill level, keep up the good work! read more

Fast, complete reply with competitive estimate! I appreciate their fast replies and willingness to work with my timeframe.

Amazing responsiveness, friendly, amazing value. Explained what was going on very well and charged less than the dealership.

Great repair experience! The team was honest about what needed to be fixed and kept me updated throughout the process.

My go to mechanic! They have reasonable pricing and are very honest. I take my car in here whenever I need to do scheduled maintenance. They do an excellent job. read more

I had a quote from Naoth, for two hours labor only, to change the fluids, and filters in my 4 wheel drive pickup to include front and rear differential, transfer case and automatic transmission. I told them I would be waiting for the car. The price changed, only $50, because I brought a new transmission pan to replace the exiting one . That said they would need a little over 2 hours to complete the job. My vehicle was the only car in the shop, so they had no interruptions from other owners to complete the work. A little over 4 hours later they finished the job. They wanted more money because it took significantly longer than they quoted. We settled for an additional hour of labor, for a total of three hours labor, plus shop fees, which were minimal. When I asked for thr oil transmission pan back, I noticed they forgot to transfer the magnet from the old pan to the new one. I pointed it out to the mechanic, who responded, sorry about that, that mistake was on me, but no offer t correct it. After over 4 hours, i just wanted toleave anyway. Unfortunately, this means I will need to redo the major part of their transmission work, which is to drain the fluid, drop pan and gasket, install the magnet, reinstall a new gasket, pan, and fluid. If I would have gotten an accurate quote up front and I didnt have to redo their work, I would give them a higher rating. read more

I've just had an oil change and fluids check at Naoth so far (I have a 2018 BMW 330i), but that was all good. The price was very reasonable, and they pointed out that I would soon need a front brake replacement, which was totally beiievable because I'd had the rear brakes done in early July, and this is normally the year I wear out BMW brakes. From the point of a first experience, I'd say that using Naoth as your auto repair place is a good deal! read more

He looked at issues diagnosed at an expensive repair shop (who were estimating over $1000), and said that the work didn't need to be done for at least a year. He replaced a couple of lights that were out for a very reasonable price. I get the impression this company is super honest and reliable, and will return. read more

Awesome customer service from Paul and his team! Honest in their work and very reasonable prices!

I look forward to taking our car there. It isn't due for another 1000 miles for the oil change. They responded quickly answering our questions. read more

I needed to get a brake job done on my back wheels that I was quoted over $600 for at Les Schwab. After doing some research and looking around at the auto shops in the area, I came across this place that had excellent reviews. Was able to get my car in a couple of days and could not be happier the price to do. this was a fraction of what the other place was quoting me, Paul was very friendly and upfront without trying to upsell me anything and I really appreciate that. I plan on telling all of my friends who have issues with their cars to come to this place because this seems like the kind of place that you could trust. Very happy to have found a local business that I can support to bring my car in trust with. read more

Regarding my battery replacement, as usual, super helpful, great value and quick. I really appreciate the work they do.

I requested Naoth Automotive to confirm and repair my suspicion that there's damage to my Flex Plate and/or starter (06' Navigator). Symptoms: screeching noise during startup went from occasional to often eventually leading to a no start condition. I've been working on cars most of my life but don't have a lift. So I brought it here. My evaluation of the owner/operator and main mechanic of NAOUTH PROS: 1- HONEST (my #1 attribute is his honesty!). Trust me on this one! 2-Allowed me to provide my own parts. 3--Very professional and thorough. Verified quality of service after I suggested a short-cut and he corrected me saying how he will do it which was the "Right" way! No short/cuts. 4-Pricing was very competitive and the best by far in my case! 5-Willing to go far and above. This was proven after the extra work and fluids he didn't even charge me for during the transmission drop! CONS: 1-Distance from my house (non-issue). 2-Charges % extra for using credit card. Thank you read more

I forgot to write an update. I ended up rescheduling with Noath as intended and they did a great job on my brakes. They're quick and efficient. Will absolutely be back in the future. read more

I can't even imagine why someone would leave a bad review for this place when they literally are the BEST one I have encountered since I moved here in WA (almost 10 years ago!). These gentleman not only explained to me 'cause and effect' of what happened to my car, they also checked other things to ensure that I leave their shop safely! Not because they're looking for other issues, but because they genuinely care that I drive off safely - And I appreciate that! My husband is a mechanic himself and was impressed with how well they took care of the situation. He said that THAT's how he would handle the situation if it was him as well! Truly grateful! Honest and caring! Don't believe those who have left stars less than 5. Whatever it was they weren't happy about was for sure a 'karen' situation! Which I hate to happen for small businesses who truly does a tremendous job! 5 stars (or even more!) for these gentlemen!! read more

Efficient, fair, and accommodating. Possibly the best low-key shop I've experienced. Better-than-expected pricing, no bs, everyone seemed to really like cars and care for their customers. read more

Got my rear brake pads done on a 2022 Audi q3. They asked if I wanted them to check if the rotors needed replacing as well and I said sure. I knew they didn't need replacing but I wanted to see if they were going to try to up sale me on something not necessary. They did not try to scam me and they seem like an honest shop that does great quality service for great value. Would 10/10 recommend. read more

Had my car serviced for AC recharge and the first time we brought the car they said their was no leaks and recharged the system for $162. The very next day pulled out my driveway and all the AC Freon is on the ground and AC doesn't work. Brought the car back and they were able to repair the leak and recharge the system but I still had to pay for recharge service again. Paid a total of $400 for some O rings and recharging the system twice. When it can all be avoided the first time coming in. read more

I went to Naoth automotive today to get a suspension issue on my Chevrolet express 2500 looked at. The diagnostic fee was reasonable and I was scheduled for two days out. After a short trip around the block the owner Jun diagnosed that the bushing on the sway bar had come out of one side and was going bad on the other side. Every time I went over a bump the sway arm would hit against the metal bracket holding it into place. They gave me a really fair price for repair and got it done on the spot. No more than two hours spent at their shop in Burien. I also got to talk to the owner and he is super moral and has good values. They also didn't try to sell me a bunch of stuff and targeted the issue. Great job! Listed is the business card! Please contact these people if you need automotive work, they are great. read more

I hate taking my car in for repair. Hate it. This experience was so different from what I'm used to. Paul, the knowledgable and incredibly friendly front desk person was upfront and clear about what needed doing (brakes) and what probably needed doing for the rear (rotors). Not only did he show my on my vehicle what the rotors looked like and why they likely needed replacing, but also took pictures of the parts that came off of the car and went over them with me when I came to pick up my car. He even followed up with a phone call after service to make sure everything was ok. Prices were incredibly reasonable and work was done within a few hours. We took our second car in for service 2 weeks later--equally pleased. Highly recommend. read more

I've been shopping around for interior/exterior detail services for a while. I found Naoth Automotive near my home, they had great reviews on other sites and was currently running a spring promotion. SOLD. One of the most important things for me, even before I committed to bringing my car in, Benson was communicative and responded to questions promptly. I can't tell you how much I appreciate this. In fact, this is why I ended up at Naoth Automotive instead of another place. Once there, Benson and team were friendly, engaging and walked me around my SQ5 both before and after, explaining the great work that they did and how long the treatments should last. I'd never had a car detailed before, but Benson and team did a great job. I'll be back to see them again soon. read more

My old Subaru developed an oil leak, and the need for a costly repair along with it. (Head gasket/bolt replacements, and some adjacent services.) The shop I was seeing quoted me for just shy of $6k. After contacting ten different shops for quotes, Naoth not only offered me the most competitive estimate (Nearly half of what I was originally quoted), but their staff was friendly, professional, and very accessible in their communications with me. Paul was very nice and easy to talk to, and helped work out a date for me to bring my vehicle in that minimized my downtime, even kind enough to shuttle me back home from the shop. I even received my vehicle a day earlier than expected. I was initially afraid I'd have to replace my car, but thanks to the skilled professionals at Naoth, I'm back on the road and in good shape, for a price I could afford. I'm ditching my old shop and sticking with them from now on! You should do the same. ;) Thanks a lot for your excellent service, guys! An honest auto shop is a rare thing these days. Never lose that high standard that you set for yourselves! read more

Running around the city doing errands, my day was going just fine. Until I tried to start my car and it wouldn't start. Fast forward an hour, I had AAA jump my car and given the advice of- you need to go get a new battery now. I didn't want to turn off the car again until I found a place that could sell and install and reset the lights in my car - Audi Q3. Everyone anywhere near Seattle (Ballard, northgate, the city, I literally called about 20 places) would only sell me the battery and said it was too much work to work with an Audi and reset the settings. THANK GOODNESS for Naoth. I was literally on my way home about to give up for the weekend when they answered the phone, said of course they could install and reset and also have a battery delivered to them within the hour so just head on down. I was saved. I called them again yesterday - asking if they could replace a reverse light. They again said of course and we set up a time today for me to come by. I was in/out in about 30 min. Pricing was fair for the light and labor and I was on my way. I can't wait to get my car detailed here as well. I have a larger repair being done due to the rain ice situation but as soon as we're all fixed up, I'll be back! read more

I recently found Naoth through a friend's recommendation to have my car serviced with a few suspension adjustment. The shop owner and mechanic are very responsive and extremely knowledgeable on cars. They quickly fit me into their schedule and got the work done promptly. I would come back again for any future repair and service. They also charge very reasonably and is relatively cheap for the so-called "performance shops" in the region. read more

I was looking to have my suv detailed after a very long time. I found this place here via yelp and after reading the reviews, I finally decided to give them a try. Benson was very helpful and responsive, him and his team were able to squeeze me in their schedule. I drove down there and after a few hours, I'm very happy with the results. Brought my car in for an A/C diagnostic. Turns out the A/C compressor failed. Jun was really thorough and walked me through each step he was taking on my car, from recharging the system to sending an independent signal to the compressor. Diagnostic rate was reasonable and came in at or less than most other places I asked for a quote. He also found that a rat had chewed through my fuel pressure regulator line and fixed it, which resolved a really annoying high-pitched whine that I couldn't figure out the source. The quote I received for the compressor replacement was also very reasonable. Jun was super knowledgeable, knew the OEM manufacturer and found the replacement part at reasonable cost. I'll be bringing my car back in to them to do the compressor replacement, and they'll be my first choice for all my car repairs going forward. read more
