Update: couldn't fix it, needs to be repainted entirely Their employee Lilly completely ruined my car's paintjob. I have no words, just look at the attachments. The owner Steven says he's going to fix it this Saturday, if so then I will happily replace this review but until then it's staying up since they didn't even want to apologize or respond after I sent them the same clips I'm posting here. I ordered a two step paint correction with clay bar, wax, wheel tire and well cleaning. This is what happened: -Didn't know what a clay bar was -tried to convince me that a clay bar would be unnecessary three times even though it's clearly stated in the explanation of services for what I ordered -not even sure she used the clay bar anyway -didn't test spot or test compounds. Only came prepared with one compound for a two-step paint correction -only came with ONE polishing pad and did not change pads for either step of buffing -washed the car in 20 minutes and left streaks across my side mirrors and windows -after showing the owners the "work" I was originally scheduled in for two hours to "fix" it. Absolutely unacceptable for leaving my car like this after ordering a top of the line service. There is now more to correct than in the first place, so the whole service needs to be redone. Two hours of spot buffing when I ordered a two step paint correction is comical. We will see if they do the right thing and this review gets updated

This service is a complete joke…read more I got my car detailed by Chad, last year and he did a piss poor job. It also took forever for them to correct the mistake because their policy was that I can only take the car back to the person who messed up the service to have it fixed. Chad was booked out for weeks so I had to wait for them to fit me in the schedule. I'm just now leaving a review because it was my first time getting my car detailed at the time and I didn't know any better. I didn't know what it meant (they basically shampoo your car) or how much it should cost at the time. Looking back, I feel like I got completely scammed. I now have more experience with other car detailers like WashLB (mobile detailer in Seattle) and two other car washes in LA (I moved) to say this Mr. Detail location in the Fairmont garage is a complete joke. I only paid for an interior detail because I go to the Costco Car wash for $8 to get the outside cleaned. I only booked for interior and it STILL cost me something stupid like $235 for a Tesla Model 3. I think there was a pet hair add on. They ask you to add tip before you pick up the car so I tipped $45, like a dummy, only to drive away with a still dirty car. They work out of a dimly lit garage with barely any light so they probably cannot see all the dirt. When I drove my car into the sun, all the dust and stuff they missed were immediately apparent. It was a waste of time and money because each time I dropped the car off I had to Uber or walk home! I was out my car for 3 hours each time while I waited. Later I hired WashLB who came to my apartment's garage and would wipe down my car with a bucket of water and rags I guess and vacuums. They also did not have strong sun light to show all the dirt but they did a good job for only $77 (before tip) for both interior and exterior. I didn't have to go anywhere, they came to my garage. Moving to LA, the detail places here are also $70-$150 for both interior and exterior. All these cheaper places did a much better job and didn't make me wait 2+ weeks to bring the car back to get their mistake fixed. This business is totally absurd, a waste of time and money. Please look at the photos and see for yourself.

It was a 3+ hour job, 90% great work, but there was also a spot where he had burned through the clear coat into the base layer. When I pointed that out he claimed "it was there before and he didn't know what that was"... He also accidentally polished some plastic around the side mirror to high gloss. The base layer can only be fixed with repainting. I'm conflicted about rating this service since the car mostly looked fine, but if 3 stars means 'ok,' and 2 stars means 'could have been better,' I must lean toward the latter because I really would have preferred not to have another runaround to address this damage . He charged me $450 to buff the scratches and apply ceramic to those areas, but no other panels were included. He quoted me $1,200 for a full detail if I wanted that. Well, I skipped the tip option. All in all, this color correction, including the subsequent repair of collateral damage and alternative transportation, ended up costing me ~$1,200.

1/5 - AVOID SEATTLE AUTO PRO AT ALL COSTS…read more This was one of the worst auto repair experiences I've ever had. I took my Lexus to Seattle Auto Pro to fix several cylinder misfires. I came prepared and even brought all 6 spark plugs myself. They inspected the car and then upsold me, telling me I also needed 6 ignition coils from them. I trusted them and agreed to the work. They kept my car from Friday to Monday, then texted me saying the misfires were fixed. Cool. I paid and picked it up thinking the nightmare was over. It wasn't. On the drive home on the freeway, my car started misfiring worse than before. The whole car was shaking uncontrollably and it smelled strongly of unburnt gas. This was honestly scary and felt dangerous. I barely made it home and parked it. When I called the shop to tell them what happened, one of their mechanics, Favian, told me the problem was now the O2 sensor and that I needed to buy one and bring the car back the next day. That made zero sense to me, and at that point I had lost all trust in them. Before taking it anywhere else, I scanned my car. When I originally brought it to Seattle Auto Pro, my Topdon scanner showed 5 trouble codes. After picking it up from them and having it run WAY worse, it now showed 21 codes. That alone tells you how badly they messed things up. I refused to bring it back to Seattle Auto Pro and instead had it towed to another shop I had prior experience with. They diagnosed and fixed the car the same day. They did not upsell me. They told me the O2 sensor had absolutely nothing to do with how the car was running. The real problem? A broken spark plug inside the cylinder -- which is insane considering Seattle Auto Pro had just "replaced" my spark plugs. The second shop was genuinely shocked at the condition my car was in after Seattle Auto Pro worked on it. They fixed it properly, charged me way less, and even gave me a warranty on their work. Seattle Auto Pro gave me a bigger bill and a car that was worse than when I brought it in. This could have been catastrophic for my engine if I had continued driving it or followed their advice and kept throwing random parts at it. Bottom line: Seattle Auto Pro either doesn't know how to properly diagnose cars or doesn't care. They upsell parts, misdiagnose problems, and send you off with an unsafe vehicle. Never, ever take your car here. I will never go back. F*** Favian!
