CAR LOOKS GREAT BUT... I was surprised to learn that I would still be charged a credit card fee even if I used a check. The only alternative to avoid the cost would be to pay cold, hard cash. In all my years, a personal check has been regarded as the same as cash for most commercial transactions. Banks don't charge a fee to deposit a check. Depositing a check takes 30 seconds using your phone, so you don't need a trip to the bank or ATM. I was solicited by this vendor yesterday. He was obviously trying to drum up some work. I was quoted a price on the phone to detail both the inside AND outside of my car for about $380.00. The vendor told me on the phone that they could come tomorrow (today) as early as I liked. (Another clue they were desperate for work.) I really should have asked for a discount, but I was thinking about having the car detailed anyway, and this guy said he could show up early the next day. If I had used my regular guy, he would schedule me out for two weeks, but only charge me $350.00 for the same job. Two guys showed up and worked for almost two hours. I would have tipped them if the owner had not charged me an absurd credit card fee, even if I had written a check. How much? Let's see, 380.00 with 10.5% tax should be about $40.00, so $420.00.. Then, tacked on an additional $39.00 ???? Of course, the receipt did not itemize anything and just charged me $459.09 flat. (see image) In all fairness, I was given the option to go to the bank (ATM) and get the cash to avoid this ridiculous fee. But this was a time I could not spare, so I was forced to pay the "transaction fee." So, we start with five stars. They really did a good job, so kudos to the crew, and no deductions there. I have to deduct half a star for not being informed about the CC fee up front prior to booking. Deduct another half star for not apologizing or cutting me a break on the cost. Another half star for wanting to charge me the same for a check (which would have saved him the CC fee) and another half star for my indignation and frustration over the entire issue. So, how many are left now? Three? OK three. If he had dropped the fee for a check, I would have been happy to cut one. Since he wouldn't, I opted to use my AMX card, which charges vendors a larger fee. It's really too bad. I would be writing a five-star rave review right now had I not been gouged. From now on, I will stick to my regular guy even though he's swamped. And for good reason, apparently, he doesn't rook you. Ryan was great! Responsive and very pleasant. The young man who came out to my car was very nice. The work itself subpar , the lack of attention to detail was bad. Glass smeared, door jambs not dry, trunk rubber still dirty, back cup holder not cleaned, some headrest not wiped down. Door storage not wiped out, cup holder not wiped out, carpet on onside of seats not vacuumed. I would have done just as good minus the great trunk vacuum job taking it to Brown Bear and save myself a few hundred dollars. Lesson learned. read more

While slower than others to communicate via Yelp for quotes, they had great communication the day of service. Texts throughout the morning kept me up to date on service time. Things were a bit delayed and brushed up against a meeting I had. Luckily, it was quick to get things set up, and nothing was needed during the service. So easy... Update: couldn't fix it, needs to be repainted entirely Their employee Lilly completely ruined my car's paintjob. I have no words, just look at the attachments. The owner Steven says he's going to fix it this Saturday, if so then I will happily replace this review but until then it's staying up since they didn't even want to apologize or respond after I sent them the same clips I'm posting here. I ordered a two step paint correction with clay bar, wax, wheel tire and well cleaning. This is what happened: -Didn't know what a clay bar was -tried to convince me that a clay bar would be unnecessary three times even though it's clearly stated in the explanation of services for what I ordered -not even sure she used the clay bar anyway -didn't test spot or test compounds. Only came prepared with one compound for a two-step paint correction -only came with ONE polishing pad and did not change pads for either step of buffing -washed the car in 20 minutes and left streaks across my side mirrors and windows -after showing the owners the "work" I was originally scheduled in for two hours to "fix" it. Absolutely unacceptable for leaving my car like this after ordering a top of the line service. There is now more to correct than in the first place, so the whole service needs to be redone. I gave a call in the morning, we had a 5-10 minute phone call and Ryan quickly understood what I wanted to do and he found a way to accommodate my request. For the price and the convenience you can't beat them. Just had work done on my Tacoma tail light and rear bumper. It doesn't look brand new cause the scratches are deep in some areas but definitely looks a lot better. Work at a normal auto body would've been much more expensive for sure (quoted at 800 so literally 10x). Overall very happy, ryan and his coworker David should up with a good attitude and even turned around when I accidentally gave him more money. 10/10 solid ass dudes, would recommend and I'll be giving them a call if I have any more work that's needs to be done! read more

Highly recommended by a fairly critical DIY'er! I have always detailed my own rig. The last 2 full years my truck has been neglected. It was literally growing moss! I just had Ryan correct the paint, detail, and apply a ceramic coating to my Porsche Macan. His service, timeliness, and quality of work are all absolute top notch and I'd recommend him highly for any detail work on your car. His attention to detail and care for my vehicle would make me comfortable trusting him with an exotic car. I currently don't have a garage, so getting the ceramic coating done required some pretty tough scheduling during a Seattle winter. Ryan was able to adjust the plan day by day as our weather forecast constantly changed, and he was able to provide a car cover to allow the ceramic coating to fully cure just in case it rained, which he later picked up. My car was in desperate need of detailing. It was not done since two summers before the pandemic, and with caring for a dying parent who was 900 miles away, my car was definitely unattended to (except for the regular tune ups, tire changes etc). Ghosted! We hired O'Ryan due to his mobile service and reviews. My son spilled some kerosene in the back of my Durango. The smell was terrible. They guaranteed me they could get the smell out. They worked most of the day but the odor was still there. They also missed some spots while vacuuming and what ever they used on the windows left a sticky residue that was hard to see though when the windows frosted up. They offered to leave their ozone machine in the Durango overnight to try and remove the odor. After paying nearly $400 w/tip, they never returned or texted back to resolve the issue like they said they would. I'm now left with a vehicle that smells like chlorine from the ozone and kerosene. read more
