Brought in my ~15 year old hatchback here which was in rough shape (some dog hair inside, pollen and dirt everywhere), and has been outside for the past couple of years. Met with Jeff, went over their offerings, and what I was looking for, and chose what services to get. (Full Detail + spray on protection etc). He walked me through the pricing and explained each step in detail. After getting the car back, it looks incredible. Had a neighbor remark on the color as soon as I got home. The inside looks immaculate, and all of the seals/gaskets/doorjambs look brand new. It looks like it did when I first bought it (except the paint looks nicer now). Back again. Needed some paint scratches and tree sap removed, and while I was having the paint corrected I had Jeff and the guys clean the inside and apply some rain repellant to the entire vehicle. I can't stress this enough - they do a GREAT job. Jeff really cares, and he is open and up front about costs so there are no surprises. In fact, he came in UNDER his estimate because my car didn't end up taking as much time as he thought it might. You have to appreciate small business owners who quote you 'worst case scenario' and then charge you less if they don't end up needing to, right? UPDATE: Four days after I got my car from Jeff, I was unfortunately involved in an overnight vandalism incident where my car was lashed with an axe-like weapon that completely carved out the metal on my car door, leaving it with a massive silver scar and a noticeable big dent. Even though I knew I probably could not have prevented it, I started hating the world for the next couple hours and was in complete despair and devastation, but then came to my senses and messaged Jeff, because I knew he would provide me with the most accurate advice. When I brought the car in next day, Jeff's team member greeted me and asked me "What happened?" with a sad smile. Having worked on my car just less than a week ago, this man truly cared about my car and seemed even more upset than me. Jeff explained to me the different options I had, but since getting the entire door replaced was out of budget for me, Jeff offered to paint it for me. For free... He said that it had only been 4 days since I got the car back from him and since I had entrusted them with their full service last week, he is willing to get this touched up to the best of his team's ability. He also gave me advice on car best maintenance practices and advised me to get a new car only once I had my own home and a secure garage, since random vandalism incidents are unpredicted in this world. I went today morning to pick up the car without too much anticipation, as Jeff had told me multiple times that it would not look nearly as nice as getting the door replaced and they will not be able to fix it fully since the metal was lashed out. But once I arrived, I was blown away at the job they had done. You literally would have to go very very close to the car door to notice the metal imperfection and from further away, you couldn't really tell a thing. No, they didn't just paint it. It was obvious they did their best to apply all the excellent materials they had, and performed their cool jazz on it like they did last week, as if I were paying them fully for their service. There was a lot of debris, fur, and not gonna lie one or two stray Fritos in my car. Now it's clean and way nicer to be in! I dropped off Thursday morning and picked up Friday morning. With the $25 off Yelp check in, I got a full interior detail for $200 on a Jetta. I called to arrange a drop off time. When I arrived we looked at my car and I was told the price. Originally I was going to be charged extra for the extra effort and resources to get the fur out, but it didn't end up being that bad to get out so I wasn't charged the extra. When I came back to pick it up Jeff took me through the car and showed that they cleaned the engine, interior, tires, and in the trunk took out the spare and cleaned that area as well. This is a great place to get your car detailed (and washed). The owner, Jeff, answers the phone every time I've called. He's right, this place is a low volume but very high quality place. I have gone to other car wash/detailing places around town but these guys are the most professional and on-time guys around. The employees are meticulous and the recommendations are fair. Their hand wash service is also excellent although a lot harder to book as it seems they hand wash only a handful at most a day due to reserving most of the work space for detailing jobs instead. If you're looking for a quick in quick out option, look towards Elephant Car Wash and other machine based (supposedly touchless) locations. However, if you baby your car and want it done right, pay up (reasonable prices) and enjoy the brand new car look/smell once these guys are done with it! read more

Wow! I took my car to Jeff and his crew to get it tidied up to sell... but now it's like new and I want to keep it. I called Jeff after an hour of vacuuming and sticky-rollering in an attempt to get the years of pet hair out of my car. Jeff suggested a full detail, and I'm very glad I went with it. The car looks amazing. They spent two extra hours ($100 extra) and got out 99% of the pet hair. Jeff listened to my budget concerns and worked with me. Jeff the owner, got me in right away and even did me the huge favor of picking me up (I don't live too far away) The auto salon is conveniently located next to the Starbucks in Leschi. They are very detail oriented (no pun intended!) and are very professional and I think priced quite fairly. I would recommend them to anyone who loves their car and are very particular about who services it. Jeff is Fantastic, He and his crew do an amazing job and his prices are hard to beat. I took a newly purchased used vehicle that smelled very poorly and was very dirty into a very prominent local detailer who did a pretty good job at cleaning the interior with their baseline detail package. They also wanted to run the drivepur system to improve the smell through my car, but were charging a hefty price for it. I called Jeff and he quoted me half the price of this other shop and so I took it to him. He ran the exact same system for Half the Price!!! Not only that, but Jeff pointed out several areas of the interior detail that the other shop had missed and reshampooed and cleaned those areas for free. He also shampooed the carpet in the back seat again as well as my floor mats all over again, got them clean when the other shop couldn't, and only charged me a couple extra bucks for it. I discovered a leaking gallon of milk in the back of my car which had been left unnoticed for at least 3 days. The stench was overwhelming and the car uninhabitable. To my great fortune, I found Auto Salon on the internet. The milk had traveled the full length of the car saturating the carpet insulation. After a total dismantling of one side of the car and securing replacement materials, there is not a whiff of the offensive odor. I'm not going to go into the whole drama as I see this is a type of yelp page that the guy responds to all the reviews and sasses the negative reviewers--no wonder their rating is so high. I only got so far as the web inquiry and first phone call, and all he did is hard-core sell me on their quality work while I tried to figure out what day worked best for both of us. From the guy answering the phone who mumbled his business name and I didn't even know who's call I was returning to the second guys FIRST words out of his mouth when I called them back "You didn't leave us an e-mail" (on the website I just left my phone) aaaaand goodmorning to you to. They were rude and indignant that I didn't have all 24 hours and 7 days a week open for the rest of my life to get a stupid vanity service done. Who is their clientele that can drop off the car at 3:30 the day before and pick it up the before close of business next day without some kind of planning AND pay upwards of $300 dollars. I'm sure they would have worked with me on the timing if they weren't so damn insistent on hardcore selling me on their "quality work--not like the other guys." Seriously I was the easiest sell as the seller of my car my Aunt is the one who is paying for it. If they had just taken a breather from the high pressure sales to help me with the timing factor hell they could have charged me double and I don't know I would've probably paid it its just a one time thing and I'm not paying for it. The conversation got so bad that I actually had to hang up on him. He called back three times one right after each other and after the third time of hitting the hang up button they finally got it and stopped calling. The other one stars about their customer service is totally believable. If you aren't completely sold on getting this service done and you have some semblance of commitments in your life I would think twice about calling, only call when you know what you are getting yourself into. Miracal workers! Jeff and crew cleaned paint from my upholstery, several surfaces, like it never happened. The car looks as good as the day I bought it, inside and out. Looks like it got repainted, flawless finish on the outside. Sparkling and shiny on the inside. They got dirt out of crevices as if they'd taken the car apart, ran it through the dishwasher, and put it back together. This is the best detail I've ever had, hands down. Got my 5 year old Lincoln MKZ detailed at Auto Salon Leschi this week (and btw it's not in Leschi - that's where it used to be!). I chose the full detail service (exterior + interior), and had a few scratches on the plastic interior door panel and glove box fixed as well. The car almost looks like new (and smells good, too), including the engine compartment. They're very detail-oriented. Jeff, the owner, really took his time to explain the different options to me. He's a fun guy to talk to. Full detail took about a day (dropped it off Wednesday afternoon and car was done Thursday evening). What a waste of time! First of all "The Auto Salon at Leschi" sounds upscale and intriguing​. When we got there, it wasn't located in the Leschi neighborhood that I know, it was at the corner​r of Rainier​ and Martin Luther King Blvd, inside of an enclosed fenced yard, that felt like a fortress. Jeff was not very nice. A fast​ talker who tried to push what HE recommended, as opposed to what we wanted. There was a dent above one of the wheels and he 'strongly suggested' we take it across the street to 'his friend' who owns an auto body shop, and they could get it fixed for about $1,500.When we declined, he showed us the packages he offered, which were very high, to begin with, and then he tried to upsell us, saying it would take another hour to an hour and a half to really do a good job.he kept tossing out analogies​. "You can go to McDonalds for dinner or to a really nice restaurant. We are the nice restaurant." Jef belittled other detailers, saying that 'you get what you pay for'. Finally, he said, "Maybe you should go to one of those inferior 'express' places, but you won't be happy." We were happy. Happy to get out of there ​and​ will go elsewhere​. Buyer beware. My son spilled milk in my car all over the cloth seats so I needed an interior detail with no notice. They took my car even though they were heavily booked and turned it around in the same day. The work was incredible, it looked brand new. And when I say brand new I mean it, it looked exactly like it did the day I bought it. Really good work, nice people.
