DISAPPOINTED - I really wanted to feel good about David's service, but I was super disappointed. I selected the full interior and exterior detail package for over $550, and when I arrived to pick up my car, it didn't look any better than if it had just been washed and vacuumed at a regular car wash. I felt bad asking the gal at the front desk if she wouldn't mind having the detailers go over a few more areas so it would look a little better, and she was kind enough to do so -- but it was still subpar. I didn't want to make too big of a deal about the situation, so I left. However, when I pulled over into a parking lot to look over the "details" on my car, I noticed many more things that weren't clean. Several areas hadn't been vacuumed, the tops and edges of the windows were still dirty, the wheel wells and side rails hadn't been touched, and the cover for my cup holder had some kind of dirt or dried cleaner all over the wood (which wasn't there before I dropped it off). The paint still had a rough finish -- they were supposed to clay bar it, but I don't think that happened, because whenever I clay bar my car it's perfectly smooth afterward. Even worse, they had sprayed so much water into my center console that there were puddles throughout the entire compartment, including on the battery at the bottom. Whatever solution they used on my interior dash caused a permanent defect on the plastic surrounding my gear shift. I did not receive a full detail by any stretch -- and in some cases, my car was worse than when I dropped it off. I rarely leave reviews, let alone negative ones, but I tried contacting David via phone and email 5-6 times and never heard back from him. He had one of his employees call me to leave a message, but even after I specifically asked several times for him to contact me personally, he never did. In my messages, I asked for a partial refund (as that seemed fair given the situation), but he never responded to that request either. His employee eventually left a message saying I could bring my car back and they would detail it again, but after this experience, I'm not comfortable leaving my car there. I wish David had cared enough to contact me directly -- ignoring my voicemails and emails is just bad business, in my opinion. read more

Great results and scheduling and shuttling me to work a few blocks away definitely helpful. The service was first rate and met my expectations. I will definitely take my other cars including my Porsche to Dave's in the near future. You can schedule online as well which makes it very easy to set-up service. read more

I'm taking my time to write this because it's a small business and David and his staff were absolutely superb!!! The service before and throughout was truly excellent and customer-focused...rare these days. ~The technicians did an outstanding job on both the interior and exterior of my treasured 2018 Volkswagen Beetle (which I call "Turbo") honestly looks brand NEW!!! I give them my HIGHEST Rating and am sharing this review with my close friends and plan to have my car detailed again every few months. Car dirtier than when I brought it in, in some places. First time in - full detail. Major spots missed. Apparently no quality control. The inside of the windshield was wiped with a dirty rag which such grime now glistens in the sun - water spots and grime in plain sight. The seats were left all jacked up (can't they put it back to where the driver had it? use the memory buttons)? Inside console was not cleaned AT ALL, the ash tray was still full of dust (just had a couple coins in there), and the exhaust tips weren't even touched. I guess I'll be finishing this detail myself and now out almost a few bills. I've never spent so much to get such little for a car detail. I'd rather have my money back with the dirtier version of my car. read more

I took my 2015 Mercedes C63s AMG Sedan to David's Auto Detailing for a full detail service and Paint Protection Film install and I must say they have done a terrible job. They claimed that the full detail service includes complete polishing, waxing and clay bar of the exterior but from the looks of it they missed some large areas, so I'm still able to see swirls marks on my trunk, side panels by the doors (see pictures). As for the Paint Protection Film, I can already see it peeling and bubbling in many areas (hood, and front bumper), they have done a horrible job cutting around the parking sensors and toe hook cover (see pictures). I wish I hadn't spent my money and time here and took to a more reputable shop. Please take your business elsewhere. read more

Took both my cars in for rim repair. The first was my priority, I clipped a curb in my near perfect WRX. They fixed it for $65 and I can't even tell it was ever there. That was the test. I then took my fiance's VW Tiguan in that needed 3/4 wheels with heavy curb rash which now look brand new form the factory. They did an amazing job! read more

We brought in our Black 2016 SUV to David & Crew with some significant dog scratches on the front fender (Never eat lunch at the off leash dog park, especially with a great dane around... who eats lunch at a F...&^@ dog park? Not my brightest moment) back to the scratches. We also had some other minor nicks, scratches and some major swirls in the paint from the drive through car washes. They did a 4 step wet sanding process and I swear the car looks better now then it was new off the lot. I was lucky enough to spots David's shop as were driving by he was able to squeeze us in pretty quickly. read more

They communicated well over the phone, what services I will get, and expectations for when I'd get my car. I got my old RAV4 back and it was spotless. Bummer that I have to write a review like this but I hope it will help inform some folks about what to expect when working with this service. I realize they've gotten lots of good reviews but my experience wasn't great. I hired them to do a full detail on a 2013 GX460 with an ivory interior in need of a deep clean. Light interiors are tough, no question, but any reasonable shop should be able to deliver an impeccably cleaned and treated leather detail. Not rocket science. Gentle product, gentle brushes, and it's dirty until you can't get any more dirt up. Then, and only then, do you treat the leather with a conditioner. In my case, David's delivered the car back to me with obvious debris still in the rear seatbelt clip wells. The rear seat center console cup holders were missed... same nasty in there as when I brought the car to them. The leather was cleaner. Everything had been wiped down but it was still quite dirty with obvious dirt still on the seats and door cards. I wanted to be sure I wasn't crazy so I took my own high end leather cleaner, soft brush, and white microfiber cloth to the seats to see if I was just imagining things. Nope... there was still quite a bit of work to be done to get them clean. So that's not good but in addition, they neglected to fully buff out the car's exterior. When you have an exterior detail performed, you shouldn't feel any grit on the paint as the purpose is to eliminate any contaminants that accumulate over time. It takes work but it should be entirely smooth once done properly. I called the owner, David, as I think it's right to give them a chance to do better. He was very kind and professional and agreed to do a re-detail. I took the car back, pointed out the shortcomings, and unfortunately they just did a spot touch up. The rear center console was cleaner (still had some stains I had to clean up myself) but the seats and door cards were still dirty. Also, the exterior paint had not been readdressed. To their credit, David was super nice to deal with and so were the people working on my car. Nice folks but it's pretty clear they aren't doing this work to a level many of us would want. They didn't really invest that much in making their work great even given a second chance. And I don't think that's because they didn't try. I think it's because they don't know how. read more

Got my car in to David's for an exterior detail today. I had a couple spots that were driving me crazy. One was a scratched area and the other was some type of over spray, I think, from a previous repair job. I had taken the car in earlier to show them what I was talking about. Fast -- David and his team completed the job when they said they would. I have no idea how they did what they did in that short amount of time. Conscientious -- We had originally talked about a higher priced detailing package. When David found out what I really needed (to have my car prepared to sell, not to drive), he elected to give me a less expensive package. I didn't have to ask. Next time I ask him to detail a car that my family intends to keep and drive, I am going to order the higher end package because I know it will be worth it. We brought 3 cars to David's Auto Detailing. The 1st one a little black Yaris, it wasn't too bad but the original owner had neglected the paint...they made it look AMAZING! The second a big dirty Highlander. It was grungy from the snow and my husband took it for a road trip with 5 smelly teenagers and a dirty dog! Lol! I moved up to Seattle from SF with 2 hairy dogs and my BF. The interior was littered with all the weather elements, dog hair, and hamburger bun seeds. My car was a disaster. Between two kids and two dogs, one who experienced a nasty bit of car sickness, it had been fairly well filthified. My expectations were realistic, I thought it would not be possible to make it perfect but at least it would no longer be gross. I was wrong! When David had finished with my car it looked better than the day I drove it off the car lot. I don't know how he did it (I'm assuming some level of dark magic was involved) but it is truly the best my car has ever looked. The total experience was great too. I got right through to a real person who could make an appointment, even on short notice. He came to my location even with my last minute change of plans requiring a location change. He called to confirm details and arrived promptly, even calling me when traffic looked like it might make him a few minutes late. He could not have been more friendly or professional and the price was reasonable especially given the disaster I had left him with! I really like working with David. His team put a ceramic coating on my new car and helped me out when I scraped up a rim against an narrow parking garage exit. He does excellent work and I can't tell the rim was damaged. The ceramic coating makes washing a 15 minute process. He takes great pride in his work and it shows. read more

Just excellent! My car is a 1992 VW Corrado. It used to be red but lives outside so it was an absolute mess with bird poop, oxidation, swirl marks -- just filthy! It looks brand new!!! And the interior is now spotless, the leather treated, every piece of dirt vacuumed. Really, it's like having a brand new car.
