I…read moreselected the full interior and exterior detail package for over $550, and when I arrived to pick up my car, it didn't look any better than if it had just been washed and vacuumed at a regular car wash. I felt bad asking the gal at the front desk if she wouldn't mind having the detailers go over a few more areas so it would look a little better, and she was kind enough to do so -- but it was still subpar. I didn't want to make too big of a deal about the situation, so I left. However, when I pulled over into a parking lot to look over the "details" on my car, I noticed many more things that weren't clean. Several areas hadn't been vacuumed, the tops and edges of the windows were still dirty, the wheel wells and side rails hadn't been touched, and the cover for my cup holder had some kind of dirt or dried cleaner all over the wood (which wasn't there before I dropped it off). The paint still had a rough finish -- they were supposed to clay bar it, but I don't think that happened, because whenever I clay bar my car it's perfectly smooth afterward. Even worse, they had sprayed so much water into my center console that there were puddles throughout the entire compartment, including on the battery at the bottom. Whatever solution they used on my interior dash caused a permanent defect on the plastic surrounding my gear shift. I did not receive a full detail by any stretch -- and in some cases, my car was worse than when I dropped it off. I rarely leave reviews, let alone negative ones, but I tried contacting David via phone and email 5-6 times and never heard back from him. He had one of his employees call me to leave a message, but even after I specifically asked several times for him to contact me personally, he never did. In my messages, I asked for a partial refund (as that seemed fair given the situation), but he never responded to that request either. His employee eventually left a message saying I could bring my car back and they would detail it again, but after this experience, I'm not comfortable leaving my car there. I wish David had cared enough to contact me directly -- ignoring my voicemails and emails is just bad business, in my opinion.

They transformed it. The attention to detail was incredible -- the paint, chrome, wheels, glass, and every surface looked refreshed and spotless. While the exterior paint and coating looked great, everything else fell short. My rims were still dirty, the interior wasn't cleaned, and there were smudges still on the windshield. The middle console still had coffee stains and wasn't even vacuumed. The exhaust tips were still dirty, untouched and covered in dust. My wife's makeup smudges on the passenger visor were still there -- I ended up wiping them off myself. The rearview mirror was still dirty. Exhaust tips still covered in dirt and grime. Carpet is still dirty with a mild mess that could've been mildly scrubbed, vacuumed and removed. These are basic detail items -- and the list goes on and on! When I brought up the issues, I was told the interior was "free anyway." That is simply not true. We negotiated $800 at the door for everything -- nothing was free. If the interior wasn't included, I absolutely would have gone somewhere else. They also removed items from my car and lost them -- including a cable I rely on due to a disability. Yes, they acknowledged it when I pointed it out, but accountability after the fact doesn't fix my missing items, and I don't have time to chase them down. I've been getting my cars professionally detailed for 15+ years, and I have never experienced this level of carelessness, excuses, or disregard for personal property. Even though the ceramic coating and exterior came out nicely, everything else was underwhelming, frustrating, and not worth the money. I do not recommend SOS Detail -- and I left feeling cheated out of my time, my money, and my belongings. I was sold on excellence but given below average results. Go anywhere but here.

I've been waiting nearly two months for him to return a deposit of $576 on my (now deceased)…read moremother's car. The job he did cleaning the mold out was acceptable but not great - cost almost $800 though, I would have expected better detailing for that cost. He claimed he could get insurance to pay for water damage and needed a deposit for the deductible. Also said it was refundable. My mother died soon after, and since the claim had not even been started, asked for the car and deposit back. Got the car within a day or two, but have been given the run around on the deposit return since then. It's been almost two months now. Daniel seems kind and personable, but appears to be a con artist or at least a lousy businessman. Daniel - please return the deposit
