This place rocks like no other. 10 stars out of 5 for these guys! I brought them my truck that has not only had 3 dogs riding in the cab for the past 6 years, but it has also been to Burning Man several times. Not only did they get all of the dog hair and smell out, but they got out 3 years worth of caked on and embedded in playa dust. Inside and out it's like a whole new truck. They spent 2 extra days on it, shampooed the carpets at least 3 times, and waxed and polished it I don't even know how many times. AND they did not charge me a penny more for all the extra work they did. I also brought them some of my living room rugs to clean. I'd rather support these guys than the dry cleaners! So, I just drove away with my Black G35 and it looked as the day it did when I drove it off the lot. Homer and his team were very flexible and great. This is an exterior detail but, just for the heck of it I think they did some of the Interior too because it was sparkling in and out?!? They offered me a ride to my home. Great place. Homer still works the shop. I took my Subaru Forester for a full detail for $185. It took the whole day -- dropoff at 8am and pickup at 5pm -- but he did a really thorough job, and he charges a little less than some high-end detail shops. I'd left a lot of items in the glove box, side pockets, etc, and Homer took them all out and placed them in paper bags so that he could clean every square inch of the interior. Since I didn't have any criticisms of his work, I don't know how he would've taken negative feedback. Also, this is a business that's run with a Fremont flair. Couple great experiences with Homer (the owner). Have taken both a 10 year old car there for a full detail as well as a 1 year old car for a wash and vac. Both good deals, but the wash and vac for 40$ is an absolutely great deal. Car very thoroughly cleaned and washed in only an hour. Certainly something I can recommend! I WILL NEVER TAKE MY CAR HERE AGAIN. IF IT WERE POSSIBLE TO SCORE ZERO STARS, THAT'S THE SCORE I'D GIVE THIS PLACE. By the light of day the morning after I picked up my car, I saw that my car had been ignored from the waist up. The windows, uprights, ceiling and stink had been completely ignored. And said they were done. Nope. Thanks, but no thanks. I called and left a message stating I'd like my money back. Homer called me right back, launched into a tirade about how could I possibly want my money back and to let them make it right. He wouldn't let me get a word in edgewise, before he proceeded to tell me that I was a bitch when I dropped off my car the day prior, that I just wanted a scapegoat or a whipping boy, that I'm a fucking bitch, to see him in small claims court, and hung up on me. I drove right over. I asked if it was common practice for him to call his paying customers fucking bitches. After ten minutes of fighting, I told him I'd stay there all day, that I was willing to eat part of the cost, but I wanted $100 of it back. I said simply, that I had been willing to work with him until he called me names and insulted me, then I am no longer negotiable. He refused to refund my money until I called my legal advisor. While I was on the phone with said advisor, Homer came out with a check for the full amount, told me to spend it on therapy. Thanks for the refund, Homer. I'm gonna go yelp all up one side and down the other about how I am sure there are plenty of detail shops in Seattle who won't call you a bitch when you complain about the incomplete work they've done. In fact, I'm willing to bet there are plenty of shops that will complete the work they say they'll do. Zero stars for Fremont auto detail. read more

After requested cleaning of only the two front seats, I came back to find the whole interior had been cleaned without my approval. Henceforth I was charged the full price when I should have only been charged a third of that. Parts seemed cleaned yet others were clearly untouched. I know this because I had cleaned the car myself two days prior. Fortunately I was able to get my insurance company to pay the bill otherwise I would be coming back for my money. That said, people....make sure you get a written estimate before you leave your car there. The people there are nice but that's about it. I think in the future I will continue to clean my car myself since it seems I do a much better job. read more

Homer is a genius. I called short notice for a 'gift' to husband: a detail on our much loved sedan. Granted, outside didn't need much work, but Homer and his associates brought the inside back to factory shine. At 'check in' time, I asked lots of questions. Homer gave detailed info on how he was going to clean the interior of our car. The 'PERSONAL EFFECTS' brown bags delivered at the end of the day held treasures we thought we had lost ages ago under the seat, in the glove box and between the cushions. Homer did an excellent job detailing my car and is quite the character. The shop is exactly what you would imagine it being a couple blocks from the center of the universe. I was torn between getting a groupon/living social coupon for other car detailers in town to save a few bucks, but was turned off by negative reviews. I called on a Tuesday and was scheduled for an appointment on Thursday. Sort of a quirky place (website, employees, etc) but seemed to have great service and my car was a good as new!! Took my Malibu in to have it detailed for sale. Mediocre job. Did not even wax the car, just exterior wash and wheel treatment. No treatment of exterior rubber, did not clear truck jam or gas filler area. I had to point out blemishes on the exterior that needed to be removed. Called Homer the next day to ask if they waxed it, he said no, that would have cost $185+. Cost $135+tax for an exterior wash and interior clean. Just had my 2000 Explorer done for $199+tax by Bill Pierre Ford's detailer and they did a far better job for a vehicle almost twice the size. Exterior wash, polish and wax. Plus interior. Would not go back to Fremont. read more

I cannot say enough about the service I got at Fremont Detail. My old subaru had mold on the carpet. Homer took the trunk carpet out and pressure washed the carpet and padding -- he even cleaned the compartment underneath. They took everything out of the car and saved it for me to go through. I am actually surprised that there any good reviews. When we got my partner.s truck back (which is only 4 years old) the paint finish neither felt or looked like it had been "machine buffed" or "hand waxed." the rims were dirty and there were dirty shoe prints on the tail gate. I was very dissapointed. Homer took the truck back "to make it right" and still it was only mediocre at best. This took the detail out of "detail." I would advise laying off the bongloads and beer while working on cars. read more

Homer did a great job on my vehicle. A cat got in my new car and nothing I could do would get the smell out. He got ALL the odor out, never to return. He had done work for me on another vehicle that had a lot of tree pitch on it. This requires alot of detail for each spot. He got it all and the charge was reasonable. I work with the public, and understand his meltdown. I don't condone it, but I understand it. I invite anyone who needs a detail to give him and his business a chance. I am thrilled with how gorgeous my "new to me" old car looks. It is a 2009 BMW but it really looks brand new after Homer & Richard finished with it. There was a lot of glue left from tape all over the dash and other parts of the interior but it looks great now. Marks on the leather are gone too. Homer even gave me a ride. The customer service was sincere and fantastic. It is nice doing business with people who are not plastic. I would recommend this place to anyone. read more
