Kenny's did an amazing job detailing my car. My car is 16 years old and hadn't been cleaned/ dusted/ vacuumed for an embarrassingly long time. It also sits outside so has collected a lot of buildup that didn't come off with a drive through wash. My car looks and feels brand new after getting the ultimate package. They did an incredible job for what u thought was a very reasonable price. I wish I had taken before and after photos because it was night and day. If you like ArmorAll, this is your place. They must order it in 50 gallon drums. I received an interior and exterior detail costing $300+. It appears as though they vacuumed and shampooed the inside, and then sprayed shiny ArmorAll EVERYWHERE! I about slid right out of my truck when I jumped in. Every surface has a mirror sheen and it rubbed off on my hands and clothes. I had to use a cloth to wipe up the excess. The exterior looked like it got a quick wash and the ArmorAll treatment again. All the exterior rubber and plastic trim is greasy with the stuff. It rained a little the night I picked it up and the ArmorAll was dripping onto my paint the next day. It needed a wash... my newly detailed truck needed a wash. Smh. And to top it off, it smells like the stuff they spray in bowling shoes. read more

I live in Centralia, but was flying out of Seattle for a week, so I had Kenny's detail my car with the Ultimate package while I was gone. Abraham was professional and courteous setting up my appointment, just as he was when I came to pick up my car-- he processed my transaction quickly. There are things I look for when getting my car detailed, that let me know if the detailer is on top of their game...Kenny's nailed it all-- even better than the KIA dealership that detailed my car the last time. Well worth the money spent ($341) to have my car looking better than new, without the chemical smell that some cleaning agents leave. Additionally, the leather seats were appropriately cleaned and treated with leather cleaner, *not* ArmorAll. They even got the hay (don't ask) that was under my 3rd row seats that I couldn't get out! At Kenny's, you get a decent deal interior-wise. Thing is--it comes with some caveats (i.e. misc. stains and ignored details). Call me retentive, but the foot pad next to the Brake Pedal is a spot that stands out on a floorboard. Kenny's left that untouched and I got down there w/a toothbrush the next day and cleaned it myself. I was also missing the rear carpet cover and had to go back the next day to ask about it (it was tossed outside/back of the building). Look at your ride carefully in the daylight...you'll notice stuff (don't need glasses for it either). read more

I say okay, because I was expecting more based on the order I placed. What I didn't like were a few things. When I got into the car afterward, there was an oily spray across the panel behind the steering wheel that went unnoticed to them. I had to ask them to wipe it off. Also the trunk was shampooed, along with all the floors, but when I picked the car up, the trunk was closed, not allowing it to really air dry, while the mats they removed from all over the car, including trunk, were placed on the ground outside their shop. They were all still damp and they said I could either go elsewhere and wait for them to dry or air dry them at home. I thought there should have been some sort of moisture sucking they did to everything and left it dry, not just air dried. Another thing I didn't like was the scent of the cleaner, it was a baby powder talc smell. I'd hoped it would be a "new car" smell or that I would have been given a choice for a scent, but nothing was offered. For about a week I really disliked the scent in my trunk and in the cab of the car. I do feel like some details were missed, based on what my package was supposed to include. read more

Decent job getting light dog hair out of backseat, but charged an extra $25 to do it. Really bad tire shine overspray on exterior and horrible streaking on inside of windows. I've been taking my truck to Kenny's for 4 years now, and have always gotten consistent results and service. I recently made a mistake in the trail I picked when going off road, and the truck was extremely scratched up from branches. Took my 2004 sedan there, and it was really dirty. All sorts of muck in the compartments that was left 'caked on' for years, gunk in the ash tray and in the in-between parts. Seats were stained and dirtied-up from years of me drinking and spilling Coffee, and from kids eating popcorn, snacks, pretzels, cookies, crumbs!!.. pieces of food!!..drink splashes!... all sorts of junk in there. The car seemed reasonably clean, but Kenny charged me $60 extra for dog hair. He didn't mention anything about dog hair when I dropped off the car, even though he said he did when I came to pick it up. He showed me a sign on the plexiglass on the side of his counter that mentioned an extra charge for dog hair and tree pitch. So OK, that's where he keeps the fine print. Spoke with them on the phone the night prior about a full detail and I was quoted $259.00 so I drove from Renton to north seattle for a 8 am appointment and once in the shop the guy said it was $379 despite what he had already quoted me. I picked up my car after spending $242 for detailing. When I picked it up I saw that the workers had missed a coffee spill in the console shift area. Their worker cleaned up the old stale mess after I showed them how the console easily popped open and they went to work with dirty rags and removed the offending stains. When I took the car home my family said " hey they missed the whole 4 foot section of carpeting where the 3rd row seats are." Drove back and they vacuumed the missed area. The worker said they didn't know how to release the 3rd row seats. Hey you got my phone number or you could have googled for the release handle location. My 2nd return to them was a couple days later when my car drove directly into the sunrise one morning and wow that really showed how poorly the inside front windshield was showing cleaning streaks. (Windows should be easy you would think). The worker was able to "reclean" my windshield with a dirty rag and some glass cleaner. Needles to say it only improved it slightly. Those dirty rags will get you nothing but streaks on windows. I finally gave up on returning my car for all the other places they missed and did not detail. Please see the photos for your opinion. I won't be using them for my other cars because it looks to me that detailing is not a priority for these folks. Maybe I'm too picky but I thought I was getting a detailed car and not some sloppy work. Oh I forgot to mention the sideview mirrors were also cleaned with a dirty cloth so I just cleaned them myself. read more

If you looking to have your car reasonablly clean, then this place is okay. But if you quite picky and looking for highly detailed , you might not happy as I am not. The job not really detailed, I still see some dirt at the corner of my dashboard, door panel, and some other spots. I see on my dash they didn't completely wiped it after spray, it left some spotted on it. My seat is not thoroughly cleaned even though they said they shampoo it. I still saw the top edge of my glass window (rear side) is not completely cleaned. Will I come back here again for my next auto detail? the answer is no. read more

I called Kenny's Auto Detail on Wednesday and was able to secure an appointment on the following Saturday. I was very happy as I heard that this place had a great reputation and was worried I'd have to wait a week or two to get in. My experience - super friendly service. All I did was drop off the car and 4 hours later it was ready for pickup. At pickup, the service desk gentlemen walked me around the vehicle and explained to me again what they did even though I knew what was included in the "Ultimate" package. The care looked amazing and the engine is spotless and shiny. They also went on to point out some paint defects (that I already knew existed) and made sure I was aware that there was some things they can't fix but made recommendations on what I could do with a paint shop. I am a dog trainer. I absolutely LOVE my job. But sometimes I bring home a dog that is...a...challenge. So today, that dog broke out of his kennel and decided to crawl to the front passenger seat, then proceed to take a huge CRAP! He might have also stepped in it and tracked it all over the front area. Floor board, steering wheel...I am actually amazed he got it in some of the places it wound up! Thank the universe for Kenny! I gave him my sob story over the phone and he said he could get me in as soon as I could get there, and for a reasonable price. Everyone else I called wanted to charge me $150+ for a simple two seat shampoo. AND, they didn't possibly have time for me until tomorrow afternoon. A half hour later, I was on my way with clean seats and a better smelling van. Dog hair and dog smell get overwhelming after a while. I've been heading to a lower cost place downtown for an interior clean on my van. My wasn't completed until 2 hours later than initially promised, and the following day day in daylight it's apparent they didn't shampoo the upholstery, which was part of the package I paid for. It was easy to get an appointment. The location is very convenient. They did a good job cleaning but failed miserably in two critical areas - 1. Trunk was wet when car was handed over. I asked them over the phone and they told me car is ready and confirmed it's dry. I realized this a day later when I sensed a weird smell coming from somewhere in the car and realized the trunk was soaking wet. 2. Lint free cloth was not used for windshield - I don't expect some trained professionals to not use a cloth that leaves no marks on the windshield. I chose them because of convenient location and they told me it would take only 4 hours but should have gone with Honda of Seattle service center. Honda clearly told me that I'll have to leave the car overnight so that it dries completely as they don't want to risk mold growth later. At least they cared! read more
