Took my car for interior detail. After getting home I noticed a white film on my doors. Then it was all over. What did I pay $425 for? I went through the whole car and used Griots detailing cleaner along with their standard interior spray and I gotta say it looked a whole lot better. I hope they read this and remember 2019 Black Cadillac ATS Luxury with Black leather interior. Don't go there!!! read more

BJ is the only one doing the car wraps. Referred a customer there and they were pretty much turned away.

We've been a repeat customer over the past few years, and I figured it's about time to write a review :) PPF, ceramic, and/or tint have been done on three of our vehicles, and the results have been excellent every time. They recently installed full PPF on our GR Corolla, and I'm still blown away by the attention to detail in the install. If you're looking for a reputable installer for PPF, ceramic, and tint, this shop is it! Not only do they do a phenomenal job on the install - their "post-install" support is the best I've experienced with any shop. The rental car is the icing on the cake and makes getting work done incredibly convenient. read more

I had my 2024 4Runner wrapped last January 2025 by Metropolitan Detail in Redmond. They did a wonderful job and it looked better than I had ever seen it. In August I had been rear-ended by a much larger vehicle and had it repaired by a local collision company. After all the repairs were completed, I had Metropolitan Detail put another wrap around all the areas that had to be repaired or replaced. Made my 4Runner look like new again. In late December I accidently rubbed against a large yellow post with my front fender, in a tight parking lot. Lesson learned - do not park near any columns. In January I had Metropolitan Detail buff out the yellow paint and restore the right full fender flare. Since I did not have time to take it to Metropolitan Express beforehand, I was able to have it hand-washed at Metropolitan Detail during the same job. I picked it up on January 13th, and it looked like it just rolled off the show room at the Dealership, but only nicer. Metropolitan Detail does quality work and I continue to go back to them to help me keep my 4Runner in a super nice condition. Thank you, all for taking care of my 2024 4Runner. read more

They paid attention to small details and didn't rush the job. The interior looked much cleaner, and the exterior had a nice finish. Worth the time and cost. read more

We had our Rivian R1S wrapped in matte ppf and side drivers and passenger windows tinted by Metropolitan Detail. We are beyond happy with the results! It's perfection and we get compliments all the time. Additionally, recently our car passenger side mirror was hit by another car. Lee, at Metropolitan Detail, was able to wipe away the superficial marks to reveal the ppf had protected the car and the ppf didn't even need replacing! Super happy! read more

Metropolitan detail recently installed stek color ppf fashion film onto my weekend/fun car and they knocked it out of the park! During the quoting process Lee and Sazar and Charles all walked around the car with me and pointed out the areas of high risk/where they would need to add seams. They were very knowledgeable and detailed about highlighting all of the risks so I knew everything that could go wrong before even seeing/approving a quote. When it came time to book the appointment they were able to get me in quickly, and provided a free loaner car while they were installing the materials. After getting the car back and seeing it for the first time I am blown away. They did an incredible job installing the material, and even cleaned parts of the car that weren't getting wrapped. I am so grateful to the team, and would highly recommend anyone looking for a wrap to go here. Their quotes are in line with other shops in the area, but their work is top notch. read more

All the people at Metropolitan Detail are helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable but today, Lee went over and above. I brought my 2014 Porsche Cayman S in to have some scratches on the bumper looked at. I figured I would have to schedule some time, and it would be a while. Lee said, " Let me pull it in, I think I can take care of that right now." What? in this day and age? 20 min later my beautiful car was beautiful again. That's how you create repeat customers! Thanks Lee! read more

Highly recommend for their professional services, top notch finish and quality work. I looked around a while and researched before settling on Metropolitan Detail for ceramic coating. But what convinced me to give them my business was my meeting with John. John is professional, knowledgeable and extremely detail-oriented. He picked out dents in my car that I didn't even know existed. He takes pride in accommodating his staff with the right tools to make it easier to work on and under cars, which I like. Their perfect finish speaks for itself. My car looks better than new and looks glossy and shiny. They also connected me to a C-Quartz rep who provided extensive details on how to best maintain the look. Extremely pleased with their services, professionalism and results. Thank you team Metro Detail! read more

Amazing service. Lee really went above and beyond to help me bringing this car back to brand new! Metropolitan team suggested the best set of actions and provided a great ceramic coating service on top of polishing. Not only that, they have been amazing in providing me a loaner vehicle while the car was being worked on. Excellent service, truly recommended. read more

Had our Tesla Model Y Performance shipped from Maui and somewhere along the way it picked up some stains and grimes that wouldn't come out in a regular hand wash. Metropolitan detail did a fantastic job getting it restored to like new without breaking the bank. Would definitely recommend-- the other cars that were there looked amazing as well. read more

I was first referred to them from a gentleman who works at the Tesla store in Bellevue. He said they are the ones. I first called them and inquired, and was pleasantly surprised by how informative and helpful Lee was. He first took the time to understand my goals with my new car, what I value and don't, before recommending a service. Throughout the whole process of quotes and email and different services up until the time we drop off our car and for a free loaner car! All the way up to when we picked up the car. Lee was very responsive to every email I sent and quick to answer any questions. They are professional, simple, and reasonably priced. I was in good hands and greatly appreciate their professionalism and simplified approach. When I asked about maintenance of my car thereafter, they didn't have a million different products they used. They had one that they use and recommended using that was held to a logical standard. Great company, great service, great team members! For reference I took in a 2023 Model Y to get frontal paint protection. Thanks! read more

I took my wife's Mazda for ceramic coating. They did an excellent job, and it was done in one day. The loaner car is a good value and very convenient. They are skilled and not your average shop that does cars. They had a deep understanding of car paint and protection. I spent a good 30 min chatting with one of the senior technicals there and was impressed. I would be back. read more

Got the C Quartz Pro coating for my SUV. The service was great, they provided a loaner, and my car was ready on time the next day as promised. It looks beautiful and they got out some scratches and some overspray. Excellent job! read more

Great people! I was treated with respect and patience throughout my entire experience with Metropolitan Detail, from my initial price inquiries to my questions about ceramic coating maintenance after getting my vehicle back. I have a '97 4Runner that I was restoring, and John (the owner of the business) went over every detail with me--I had no concerns about bringing in my older vehicle! The rig got a full paint correction and CQuartz Professional application, and it's looking gorgeous! Thank you, MD--will definitely come to you again with any detailing needs! Also, special shout-out to Lee who was particularly helpful and knowledgeable. Very happy with the finished product. Bottom line: if you're kind of obsessed and neurotically detail-oriented, these guys will take care of you. read more

I was looking to add some extra protection to my brand new GLC300 and I've found MD. John was super responsive since day 1, answering all my questions and providing useful recommendations. The place is truly amazing, brand new. They did an amazing job with the car: a coating reserve protection and also glassparency (truly recommended in this rainy weather). It was also great that they provided me with a loaner while the work has been done. The car was spotless, delivered on time as promised and they even clean the interiors as courtesy. I took in my Bentley Continental GT Speed for a full paint correction and ceramic coating. I chose Metropolitan Detail based on the good reviews and a recommendation by a friend. Even before they started any work, when I stopped by to have them take a look at the car they came off as very honest and clear. Since the car is black they set the expectation from the start that even with a ceramic coating it's not going to prevent swirls and I will still need to take care in washing the car. Loved that they didn't sell me hard on anything and pass it off as a "miracle solution." We went over the car and I pointed out any issues that I saw (heavy scratches, dents, etc.). They coordinated dent removal along with the paint correction and ceramic coating. Very convenient that they have loaners, made it easier to drop the car off/pick up. When I came to pickup the car, it honestly looked much better than I thought it would, and I am generally a person who has high expectations. And they even shared some photographs their professional photographer took of the car, another delight! The work Metropolitan Detail did made the car look amazing and honestly I enjoy driving it even more than before. Looking forward to continue working with them in the future! read more

Metropolitan Detail - After shot of my Bentley, amazing work! - Auto Detailing Near Me - Redmond, Washington

Metro is a top notch detailing facility. All of your detailing needs can be met here. I had them do full coverage PPF on my new Ferrari, as well as tint, and ceramic coating on my wheels and calipers. The wrap job turned out phenomenal, I really am impressed at the quality. They were able to hide the seams incredibly well, and you can't tell there is PPF on the car. The process does take some time, but it's worth the result. I will be back with my other cars, and for washes and other detailing needs. From start to finish Metro was great to deal with. I was able to have my car delivered there directly from Ferrari. They brought the car in, confirmed everything I wanted done on the car. We also covered a few additional things I hadn't even thought of. After that they washed it and decontaminated the paint. With that done they did a full inspection to spot any errors in the paint or otherwise. They were able to spot a couple defects and correct them. After that it was time to fully wrap the car, tint the windows, and ceramic coat the wheels. It was about 2 weeks from start to finish. The car ended up looking fantastic when they were done with it. I am thrilled with the results. Good work takes time, and is well worth paying for. Now I don't have to worry about rock chips ruining my day when I am out driving. And I will be driving this car a lot! Thank you John and crew at Metro. You guys did an awesome job! read more

John Kleven, one of the owners of Metropolitan Detail, responded directly to my inquiry here in Yelp. I was aware that they've detailed much nicer cars than my new Honda hybrid (the 2019 model looks quite nice ;) but I still decided to work with them on having my car's windows tinted since I read nothing but stellar reviews. I was also interested in their New Car Detail package, in which (according to their website) they run a paint decontamination and, among other things, apply a ceramic coating to the car. When I dropped my car off, I talked to John right away about my tinting options as well as the new car detail and decided to opt for a 2-year ceramic coating (at additional cost). The loaner car I drove around that day and the following day was one of their Scion xB's (I think). Sure, it felt I was driving an ad but it was honestly a fun, zippy car to drive around for two business days. The fact that they even offer a loaner car is extremely convenient. They were finished with my car earlier than I anticipated on the second day. Amazing, amazing job. The tint I went with looks amazing and clean. And the exterior looks awesome. Crystal clear and clean. That ceramic coating is something else. Over this weekend (I picked up my car from them on Friday), it was raining some - you wouldn't have guessed it did though. My car looks like it wasn't subject to any rain at all. John advised that, for the time I have this ceramic coating, I should only do basic washes. There is NO need to wax the car. It certainly shows. There's a good chance that if I don't make the time to wash my car a particular month, I might even visit their Metropolitan Detail Express location in the near future. Yes, they may seem pricier compared than the alternatives. But you get what you pay for and I'm really pleased. Highly recommended. read more

I stopped in to find out if I needed a little buff out or a body shop from a little scrape in the parking lot. Lee checked it and said he could make it a lot better but maybe not perfect. They did a quick clean and polish and got it looking great. I was very happy with the result. While I was waiting I signed up for an exterior detail, paint correction and ceramic finish. I can't wait to see it after the detail. Good people, clean shop and lots of expertise. read more

I recently took our brand new Lincoln Navigator to Metropolitan detail to have them apply a clear wrap with self healing technology on the complete front clip and rear bumper of the Lincoln. They did an amazing job you cannot see any seams, bubbles or areas where they cut around emblems everything was installed to perfection! We also had them apply the C quartz Ceramic coating. Again applied with perfection! These guys do an absolute amazing job and I would not take my car anywhere else to have the service done! The services are not inexpensive but neither is the vehicle I'm protecting. If you want it done right I strongly suggest Metropolitan detail. Prior to deciding to have them work on my car they sat down and explained to me the pros and cons of the services I was looking at. While I was there they gave me a tour of their fantastic shop. After the tour they gave me a quote for me to make a decision on the services I was requesting. There was no high-pressure Sales involved. Just passionate car Guys! I took my 2014 Mazda 3 for a detail here and the service was great! I decided to do the Wash, Decon & Protect exterior detail along with the Essential Interior service for $50 off. I use all weather mats in my car and I was looking for a place that didn't need to shampoo the carpets. I was happy to find that Metropolitan Detail provided that service for a cheaper price. They include a lot of different add-on services that you can pick and choose according to your detailing needs. Making an appointment was really easy, and they give you the option of a free loaner car (Scion xB) which made my life so much easier in terms of drop off/pickup. I dropped my car off at around 8am, and it was ready for pickup by 5pm. My car came out super clean and shiny! I appreciated the fact that they took note about the small stain in the backseat and was able to put extra attention to it during the service. I will come back here for future detailing services on my car. Thanks guys! read more

These guys are sensational! They did an absolutely outstanding job with the paint protection film on my Audi Q5. The service was top notch, they are very friendly and welcoming, they're helpful over the phone and in person, and the free loaner vehicles they provide (Scion xB's) are very helpful when your car is in the shop for a few days. They came very highly recommended to me and it was no surprise to see the wide variety of cars they had in their shop when I arrived, including a bunch of exotics. After seeing the work they did on my car as well as the extreme care they used for the process itself, I can totally understand why. I definitely recommend them as well! read more

After seeing a really positive post from a customer in the PCA Pacific NW Region Facebook group I decided to give these guys a call and boy was I pleased! My black Porsche Cayman was in need of some serious paint correction and I wasn't really sure what the process would be like. The guys went through each panel on the car, took paint measurements, and explained what sort of improvement I could see if I decided to move forward. These guys aren't into upselling you anything, just explaining what is feasible and what isn't. The whole team is extremely friendly and customer service focused and it really shows in every interaction you have with them. I decided to go with full paint correction and Ceramic Quartz Pro. The results are outstanding and even better than I could have expected. Can't recommend Metropolitan Detail enough! read more

Finding a place to detail my car was about as difficult as finding good Mexican food. And I've only accomplished one between the two. These guys did a really good job at bringing my baby back to new after having her run through the mud and then having her "suffer" through the whacky climate for a few weeks after. The staff was really friendly, too. I thought it was a little expensive though for a service that is a dime a dozen at home. But hey, I guess I have to adjust and adapt for this here. I would come back here again though as I think it's worth the expense since I have dogs who are frequent passengers. I also think it's important to keep up the wax job having a vehicle here in Seattle. I'll keep the star count at 4 for now, but when I find places that are good to my car, I'm pretty loyal, so I let's look forward to 5 on a future visit. read more

Did the detail on the express. Very professional and predictable. No surprises which is good for a simple car wash.

This was the first time I've had my Mazda Cx7 detailed and my gosh it came out so nicely! The guys at Metropolitan Detail did such a great job that it came out of the garage looking like a brand new car! Everyone was so nice during the process too and everything is very clean. John really spent the time explaining the products, the process, and the options available to me. Also, we went through the shop to see other cars being detailed, so I can visualize the products. On the back panel, I've noticed that there was a small microfiber stuck in-between the film. No questions asked they say they will redo the PPF on the panel.
