I had my 2024 4Runner wrapped last January 2025 by Metropolitan Detail in Redmond. They did a wonderful job and it looked better than I had ever seen it. In August I had been rear-ended by a much larger vehicle and had it repaired by a local collision company. After all the repairs were completed, I had Metropolitan Detail put another wrap around all the areas that had to be repaired or replaced. Made my 4Runner look like new again. In late December I accidently rubbed against a large yellow post with my front fender, in a tight parking lot. Lesson learned - do not park near any columns. In January I had Metropolitan Detail buff out the yellow paint and restore the right full fender flare. Since I did not have time to take it to Metropolitan Express beforehand, I was able to have it hand-washed at Metropolitan Detail during the same job. I picked it up on January 13th, and it looked like it just rolled off the show room at the Dealership, but only nicer. During the quoting process Lee and Sazar and Charles all walked around the car with me and pointed out the areas of high risk/where they would need to add seams. They were very knowledgeable and detailed about highlighting all of the risks so I knew everything that could go wrong before even seeing/approving a quote. When it came time to book the appointment they were able to get me in quickly, and provided a free loaner car while they were installing the materials. After getting the car back and seeing it for the first time I am blown away. They did an incredible job installing the material, and even cleaned parts of the car that weren't getting wrapped. I first called them and inquired, and was pleasantly surprised by how informative and helpful Lee was. I took in my Bentley Continental GT Speed for a full paint correction and ceramic coating. I chose Metropolitan Detail based on the good reviews and a recommendation by a friend. Even before they started any work, when I stopped by to have them take a look at the car they came off as very honest and clear. Since the car is black they set the expectation from the start that even with a ceramic coating it's not going to prevent swirls and I will still need to take care in washing the car. Loved that they didn't sell me hard on anything and pass it off as a "miracle solution." We went over the car and I pointed out any issues that I saw (heavy scratches, dents, etc.). They coordinated dent removal along with the paint correction and ceramic coating. Very convenient that they have loaners, made it easier to drop the car off/pick up. When I came to pickup the car, it honestly looked much better than I thought it would, and I am generally a person who has high expectations. And they even shared some photographs their professional photographer took of the car, another delight! Metro is a top notch detailing facility. All of your detailing needs can be met here. I had them do full coverage PPF on my new Ferrari, as well as tint, and ceramic coating on my wheels and calipers. The wrap job turned out phenomenal, I really am impressed at the quality. They were able to hide the seams incredibly well, and you can't tell there is PPF on the car. The process does take some time, but it's worth the result. I will be back with my other cars, and for washes and other detailing needs. From start to finish Metro was great to deal with. I was able to have my car delivered there directly from Ferrari. They brought the car in, confirmed everything I wanted done on the car. We also covered a few additional things I hadn't even thought of. After that they washed it and decontaminated the paint. With that done they did a full inspection to spot any errors in the paint or otherwise. They were able to spot a couple defects and correct them. After that it was time to fully wrap the car, tint the windows, and ceramic coat the wheels. It was about 2 weeks from start to finish. The car ended up looking fantastic when they were done with it. I am thrilled with the results. Good work takes time, and is well worth paying for. Now I don't have to worry about rock chips ruining my day when I am out driving. John Kleven, one of the owners of Metropolitan Detail, responded directly to my inquiry here in Yelp. I was aware that they've detailed much nicer cars than my new Honda hybrid (the 2019 model looks quite nice ;) but I still decided to work with them on having my car's windows tinted since I read nothing but stellar reviews. I was also interested in their New Car Detail package, in which (according to their website) they run a paint decontamination and, among other things, apply a ceramic coating to the car. When I dropped my car off, I talked to John right away about my tinting options as well as the new car detail and decided to opt for a 2-year ceramic coating (at additional cost). The loaner car I drove around that day and the following day was one of their Scion xB's (I think). Sure, it felt I was driving an ad but it was honestly a fun, zippy car to drive around for two business days. The fact that they even offer a loaner car is extremely convenient. They were finished with my car earlier than I anticipated on the second day. Amazing, amazing job. The tint I went with looks amazing and clean. And the exterior looks awesome. Crystal clear and clean. That ceramic coating is something else. Over this weekend (I picked up my car from them on Friday), it was raining some - you wouldn't have guessed it did though. My car looks like it wasn't subject to any rain at all. John advised that, for the time I have this ceramic coating, I should only do basic washes. There is NO need to wax the car. It certainly shows. There's a good chance that if I don't make the time to wash my car a particular month, I might even visit their Metropolitan Detail Express location in the near future. I recently took our brand new Lincoln Navigator to Metropolitan detail to have them apply a clear wrap with self healing technology on the complete front clip and rear bumper of the Lincoln. They did an amazing job you cannot see any seams, bubbles or areas where they cut around emblems everything was installed to perfection! We also had them apply the C quartz Ceramic coating. Again applied with perfection! These guys do an absolute amazing job and I would not take my car anywhere else to have the service done! The services are not inexpensive but neither is the vehicle I'm protecting. If you want it done right I strongly suggest Metropolitan detail. I took my 2014 Mazda 3 for a detail here and the service was great! I decided to do the Wash, Decon & Protect exterior detail along with the Essential Interior service for $50 off. I use all weather mats in my car and I was looking for a place that didn't need to shampoo the carpets. I was happy to find that Metropolitan Detail provided that service for a cheaper price. They include a lot of different add-on services that you can pick and choose according to your detailing needs. Making an appointment was really easy, and they give you the option of a free loaner car (Scion xB) which made my life so much easier in terms of drop off/pickup. I dropped my car off at around 8am, and it was ready for pickup by 5pm. My car came out super clean and shiny! I appreciated the fact that they took note about the small stain in the backseat and was able to put extra attention to it during the service. Finding a place to detail my car was about as difficult as finding good Mexican food. And I've only accomplished one between the two. These guys did a really good job at bringing my baby back to new after having her run through the mud and then having her "suffer" through the whacky climate for a few weeks after. The staff was really friendly, too. I thought it was a little expensive though for a service that is a dime a dozen at home. But hey, I guess I have to adjust and adapt for this here. I would come back here again though as I think it's worth the expense since I have dogs who are frequent passengers. I also think it's important to keep up the wax job having a vehicle here in Seattle. I'll keep the star count at 4 for now, but when I find places that are good to my car, I'm pretty loyal, so I let's look forward to 5 on a future visit. read more
