I used the Accutint in seattle for years and I went here with my new car to get protected with a full front wrap First off they took a half day longer than they said they would so I had to leave it overnight. I declined the front headlights to get tinted so when I was on my way to pick it up I got a call saying if I wanted to get my headlights tinted they would do it for 25% off or something like that and I still declined. I show up and both headlights are fully tinted. Then she says oh, well we will did that for free. Lol, yeah. 5 days after this I noticed two big chips in my hood. I took it back and argued with the owner for about 15min about it. I believe they stretched it way too thin and when I said that is what I thought he blew up. He offered to redo it but I would have to pay. We left it at that. I don't recommend this place because it seems once you pay and are out the door they don't care about you anymore. Got a referral here from my friend who recommended me, went there and the people were friendly and helpful even helping me pick out the tiny percentages giving recommendations, and showing me examples. Ended up deciding to get 15% ceramic on my RSX and it turned out great. Although there is a dot matrix that's showing up at the rear window, I'm waiting for the tint to cure before calling back to see if it can be flushed out/fixed. Ive used Accutint for years and spent thousands of dollars in the past few years for tinting and vinyl wrapping on my car. Several months ago i was quoted $400 for additional vinyl on my car. Went in 2 days ago and they confirmed they would do it for the $400. The next day i get a text message saying it is now $610 plus tax. That is over 50% more than the 2 quotes that i was given. I responded "too much, cancel the appt" and 20 minutes later get the text saying they would drop it to $475 and was told it was because of the "costs". Im happy with the work they did but i will never spend another dime at that place or refer anyone to them for any work that is wanted to be done. They just lost a repeat customer of years for $75. If you go there, they will quote you very low and then jack the cost up, be leary if you ever choose to use this company read more

This is my second car I've taken to Accutint. I use them specifically because they work on high-end cars (given Bellevue's demographic, the least expensive car being worked on was a pretty loaded Bronco, with several other Audis and Porsches hanging around). I normally hate handing the keys over to my car given that some places may have employees tempted to do a little "test drive", but that's never been a worry here and all the employees are incredibly professional. I made my appointment a month in advance for first thing in the morning, and they had the tint done in about an hour. I just hung around in their lobby doing some work, and they actually beat their time estimate. Though they had 3 price tiers of tint to offer me for what I was looking for, they actually recommended the middle tier because the top-tier tint was designed for more heat rejection in sunnier climates. No unnecessary upsell here. As long as I live in the area, I'll continue taking cars here and recommend my friends & family do the same. read more

These guys are busy and popular, so I would recommend scheduling your service with them sooner than later! I wanted to get my new car front windows tinted and requested they match the back windows, as those were factory tinted. Since it was not a full vehicle tinting procedure, they didn't need the vehicle for a long period of time, they estimated 2 hours. I came in at the designated appointment time and was promptly greeted (by the owner I think). My husband had to do some paperwork online, which made the process even more streamlined, so they checked and everything was in order. I brought my work with me and just sat in their small waiting area. They have snacks, coffee and water station. Plus some magazines, books and a TV to pass the time. Wifi was free also, a big plus! 90 minutes later my car was done (30 minutes early)! They give you specific written instructions as the tint cures (e.g. do not roll your windows down for 5 days, etc...) and they offer a lifetime warranty. The front desk guy was pretty helpful, as I was sitting there a customer came in inquiring about their services, during their conversation he was trying to find some extra discounts for him. What a fantastic company! I was referred to them by another business in Bellevue. I needed tint for a Porsche I had just purchased and advice about the paint protection film that was already on the car. I first spoke with Jay, who booked my appointment for the tinting and invited me to stop by anytime for them to look at the PPF. When I did stop by, another gentleman came out and gave me some advice on the PPF. On the day of my appointment, the young lady in the office was very professional and friendly. They took the car on time and finished earlier than promised. The installer came out and spoke with me before and after the work was completed, and another installer also provided more information on the PPF issue I had. There were no pushy salespeople, and their pricing was very reasonable compared to other quotes I received. I am very impressed with Accutint and their crew. NO GLOSS AND LOTS OF MOSS! My vehicle was turning green from not being driven, thanks to pollen, COVID-19, and my being a retired low mileage old fogey. There was so much green crud on the truck, that a car wash could at best only get about half of it off, and then I would have to spend hours scrubbing off all that crap from every nook and cranny on my truck. I know this from experience. GET IT DETAILED BEFORE PAINT BECOMES HOPELESSLY DERAILED! So I set up an appointment for July 17 to have it detailed at Accutint in Bellevue, located in Briarwood Center where Midas Mufflers used to be years ago. They quoted $210 (plus tax) for their "Basic Exterior" service, including the wheels and as much as they could get off the canopy without removing the canopy. I leave my vehicle in the morning until they send me a text saying that it should be ready between 2 and 3 PM. APPOINTMENT SANS DISAPPOINTMENT On July 17, surprisingly, Jose agreed to remove the canopy without additional charge. And so I walked around the neighborhood (which included making a YouTube video about a 2020 Lamborghini Aventador). I returned to Accutint around 2 PM and waited patiently at one of their two outdoor waiting chairs (very nice during pandemic times!) immediately outside their office, which also has an indoor waiting room btw. FROM MOSS TO GLOSS 6 HOURS LATER At around 3 PM or so, Alden called me to tell me my truck was ready. And wowee zowee! It looked brand new with all that mean green moss taken off! Kudos to Alden, Mario, Robbie, and Jose at Accutint for doing such a great job! Though I asked, and Jose confirmed that he did this particular job all by himself. But it's a sure bet that all these guys do an equally great job. PANDEMIC PREPAREDNESS All these employees wore a mask. And of course, in accord with Washington state law, all customers inside the waiting room also wore a mask, including me. Robbie was conscientious about wiping down my credit card while doing the transaction. Though I thought it was supposed to be "contactless" (either scanning my credit card or using a QR reader without physically touching the card). No big deal to me as any Coronaviri would have been "swined out" when Robbie wiped down my credit card. The office also had social distancing indicators marked down on the floor to keep customers 6 feet apart. NO ACTIVE RESIDUAL COVID COOTIES IN RESTROOM I needed to use their bathroom. But I was concerned about lack of ventilation inside a small room. So Robbie sprayed the air inside the bathroom with Lysol spray to deactivate any residual Covid aerosols that might've been floating around. That, my mask, and the bathroom fan gave me confidence enough to spend no more than five minutes doing a number two. ONE THING IS NEEDFUL But when I got home, I opened the tailgate and noticed daylight peering through holes, one on either of the forward wall of my pickup bed, which were not there before. Water could easily get inside the bed on a rainy day. It appears that rubber or plastic grommets had been removed in the process of removing the moss, and they forgot to reinsert them after power spraying the truck. When I called them about this, they said nothing was removed, but to bring it back Monday, July 20 for them to check it out. This I intend to do. Stay tuned! UPDATE: JULY 21, 2020 I went in again on July 20 re: those two holes at the forward end of my pick-up bed, one on either side. I spoke to Jose, who did the otherwise excellent detailing work on July 17. He spent about 15 or 20 minutes putting double sided tape over both holes, on both the inside and on the outside of the bed, to prevent water from getting in on rainy days. He mentioned that he had not removed any grommets. And that had they come out during the pressure washing process, he would've noticed it. Therefore this is a bit of a mystery. No matter, so long as the tape prevents water from getting inside the bed. read more

I needed PPF for a new model Y and wasn't happy with my previous tint/wrap shop in Seattle, so decided to drive out to Accutint in Bellevue. Totally worth the trip! Front desk service is super friendly and informative, the PPF job was well done, and Accutint even filed the PPF warranty with the film manufacturer directly on my behalf. They also came in about $4000 cheaper than another shop's quote, thanks to a bulk discount they offer for Tesla PPF. Will definitely use them again for future tint and film jobs. read more

TLDR: Accutint messed up my tint on multiple occasions, and then failed to stand behind their product (& asked me to pay to fix the defective tint). Also - if you're a women, avoid this place entirely. I've had nothing but issues with Accutint for window tinting. I purchased a new 4Runner TRD Pro, and I reached out to have the windows tinted. I was told by friends that Accutint is "the best." When I spoke with Accutint, I was very clear that I wanted all the windows as dark as possible, including the windshield & sunroof. When I arrived, I explained that I wanted everything darkened to at least 5% (I did agree to 50% on the windshield, because I was told they wouldn't do any darker. I found out later this was a lie, and the employee was assuming as a woman, I didn't know what I wanted.). The representative I spoke with was pushing me not to do the 5%, but instead to stick to around 10-15%. I was told how I wouldn't be able to see, how dangerous it would be, how I could be automatically at fault in an accident, etc. After all of this, I agreed to 10-15% because I was assured it would meet my needs (I was looking to black everything out for car camping, and I didn't want people to see inside). It didn't look much darker than it had been when I dropped it off, and I was told that it appeared that way because it was so bright outside, and I would be happy once it had time to cure. I was not happy. About a month later, I reached out and explained that the tinting was not as dark as I was told it would be (that it wouldn't meet my stated needs). I found out that they messed up, and the tinting applied was lighter than we agreed on (10-15%). We set up an appointment to redo the tinting. It's important to note that it wasn't replaced because I wasn't happy - it was replaced because they messed up. I arrived, and again, mentioned how I'd like to just do the 5% (I didn't push the sunroof - that remains the lighter tint) and I didn't want to be unhappy again. However, again, the representative pushed against the 5%. He even took me out to show me an employee's car that had 5% tinting, but said the employee had recently been required by a judge to remove the tinting. Reluctantly, I agreed to the lighter tint. The employee that owned the car with 5% tint approached me while I was waiting for my ride, and asked if I wanted to do the 5%. He knew I was being pressured to go lighter, and he wanted me to be happy. He also confirmed that the story about being directed to remove the tint was completely made up. I confirmed I'd like the 5%. I picked up the car, and it looked great. Then, I started noticing the bubbling. After weeks of letting the tint cure, there was still significant bubbling - every single window had bubbles. I went back again, and they noted the irregular amount of bubbling and replaced the tinting again. Fast forward a few months, and now there is a small circular hole in the tinting of one of the windows. Specifically, the driver's window. I am the only driver of this vehicle, and I don't wear any jewelry. Nothing has hit the window (the Accutint representative is convinced it's from a seatbelt). This is a window that had to be tinted no less than three times, and now the tinting is falling apart. I believe this was a ruptured bubble because the hole is pretty small and round, but Accutint has already decided it's not a failure of the tint, but I somehow damaged it. I ended up doing multiple tests to see if the seatbelt would hit anywhere near the hole, and it didn't. I even showed this to the Accutint employees and they said that's weird, but it still must be the seatbelt (the car is new - the seatbelt is still tight and moves slowly). Even though there has been documented repeated bubbling in this tint (the small circular hole looks like a bubble), the technician stated it's "impossible" for a bubble to rupture. This car is less than a year old. The tinting is a few months old. This car is also a secondary vehicle and it has not had any direct damage from the inside. I don't live close to Accutint. It has been a hassle every time I needed to go out there (along with missing work), and it always required me to have somebody pick me up and drop me off (again, not close to Accutint). As problematic as this process has been, I would have been happy with my experience if they continued to stand behind their product. Customer service is everything. Robby was great. The other office representative thrived on mansplaining everything to me, and went so far as to lie to me to convince me to do what he thought was best for me. But most importantly, the company failed to stand behind their product. There are too many great options out there to waste your time and money with Accutint. read more

Had a great experience getting my car detailed and thoroughly cleaned. Bought my car late 2019, and with the pandemic, a few moves, a dog that sheds a ton, and plenty of muddy adventures it was time to finally clean it. Yep, had never been cleaned besides the occasional light vacuuming up until today. Robby at the front desk, and Connor the detailer who worked (solo that day, might I add) on my car worked magic. I made huge mistake and went to another tint shop first with my new Audi. Jakes in Yakima used a razor blade on my glass moonroof which needs to be replaced. Jakes did a crummy window tint job which also needed to be redone and also a bad front end PPF. Huge mistake going anywhere but Accutint. Accutint knows what they are doing and they perform great work. They re-tinted my windows today and they look awesome. No hazy after effects and no "bananas and peanuts." Excellent work! I got my 2004 Lexus LS430 tinted here and it did not go well. I had to go back 3 different times to get them to fix the tint, there was dirt under 2 of the windows(rear window and right rear quarter window) the front passenger window had loose tint that once I was able to roll down the windows made a crinkling sound (extremely annoying). So if you have time to waste as you have to drop your car off or wait a long time. Also to have them fix the dirt under the windows was a reschedule which was scheduled almost 2 months out. I have 3 other vehicles that need to be tinted, I will not be going back here and will not be recommending them to any of my friends/family. read more
