I took my Forester to get the front windows matched to the rear factory tint. I was able to get on the schedule on my preferred day easily. Jim and team did excellent work - super clean, perfect lines, and perfect match to factory. I can see why he does lots of luxury vehicles. Even more impressive was how he took care of me when I ended up with a few tiny imperfections. These things happen with tint sometimes. When I called Jim and took it over, he didn't hesitate to take care of it. He redid the window on the spot and it was done by the time I finished lunch at the teriyaki spot nearby. He didn't try to reschedule me, didn't make excuses, didn't blame me, he didn't try to charge me anything extra. Just took care of it. Spoke with Jim yesterday about a 3M chip protect that the Bellevue Lexus Dealer installed then said that the stain on the bra couldn't be removed and it wasn't part of the warranty. I needed to shell out $400 plus tax to have clear bra replaced. Brought this to Bellevue Auto Tint - Jim said it should have been covered by the warranty with 3M. Gave me the number to call at 3M. Got 3M to cover for the replacement at no charge. They will issue a store credit. Thank you Jim for your assistance. read more

Here's from a senior guy who doesn't fit into the max tint category I needed my Lexus GS tinted and am pleased as can be with the job Jim did. Not only does he do good work, he is just a pleasant guy to deal with. No pressure, no hype - just a normal guy who does a great job of tinting. He has two grades of 3M tints. At first I was leaning toward this new ceramic film, but after chatting with Jim I didn't need to spend the extra $ to look and stay cool in the sun. For me it was between a 35 and 20 percent film. Thought I would go with the 20, but ended up with the 35 all around and it looks great. The thing that sold it for me on the 35 was the original Lexus tint on my windows. Even thought they were light - about 10-15% when added to the 35 it brings my number down to about 25 which is perfect. Thanks Jim. read more

Jim and his staff are top notch. I am about the pickiest consumer you will find. I expect quality work and Jim did just that. The shop is a typical shop/garage. Nothing fancy here but they have a small waiting area with wi-fi and I was able to sit down and get some work done while they tinted my brand new car. I have a small SUV so it wasnt a quick job and yet he still finished rather quickly. They offered to drive me to a starbucks so I could work there instead of there shop. I recently had a window tint and 3M paint protection film installation done at BAT. Unfortunately, I had to have my hood re-wrapped due to what was described as a 'product defect', resulting in ~20 quarter-sized blemishes. When I picked up my car after the re-wrap, I immediately noticed several imperfections on the hood. Jim asked me to give it a couple weeks to see if they'd go away, which they did not. I also noticed the wrap on the front bumper was starting to peel. Literally five minutes later, I got into my car and noticed the tint on the driver's side window peeling away from the glass. I had reached my limit and contacted Jim about resolving the situation. To his credit, Jim agreed to remove everything his shop had installed and get me back to where I was originally. I drove directly from BAT to another shop to have everything redone. The tech at the second shop brought several things to my attention during the pre-installation inspection which were a result of the work done at BAT. The most problematic to me were the four deep razor blade cuts into the paint (two on the front bumper and one on each side mirror) from trimming off excess material during installation. I can say that I actually witnessed the tech make at least one of the cuts into the paint, but I didn't realize it left a mark at the time. There were a few other issues as well, but they all seem to boil down to the same root cause - whoever installed my wrap at BAT was either inexperienced or careless. I'm giving BAT a two-star review solely because I appreciated Jim's professionalism and willingness to try to rectify the situation. If I were grading simply on satisfaction with the product and installation, it would be much lower. read more

Jim does good work, and i wish i had gotten around to recommending him sooner. We've had two cars done through him, the first being a simple tint match on an SUV which was well done. the second was an all-around job on my wife's Acrua TSX, which was handled perfectly. When vandals shattered the rear window a few years ago, we needed the tint replaced, and Jim was up to the task, and was even willing to be reimbursed by our insurance- something you won't get with most tint operations. Now that we've traded in the Acura, i'll probably be contacting him again soon. I called Jim and he was super flexible and even gave me a ride to Starbucks so I could get work done while he was tinting my new 2012 Optima. I have a Mazda MX-5 Miata with a special Mazdaspeed front bumper. I recently had it repainted and wanted to protect it from further road damage, as I'm in a car club and like to participate in "shin and show" events. I had another tinting and paint protector shop put protective film on the front bumper. Needless to say, when I went to pick the car up at dusk, I could see by the fading light a highly visible seam right across entire bumper. To that shop's credit they scheduled another appointment for them to retry. However after beginning a second attempt, they Through in the towel, and return the car without charge or a clear bra. Now knowing that it was a unique and difficult bumper to put clear bra on, I contacted Jim at Bellevue Auto Tint. He let me bring the car in on a Saturday, and agreed to take a look. He was very confident that he could do a good job, and agreed that the prior shop should have never put a seam where they did. He spend some time with me to discuss the job and understand what I was looking for. He schedule me for two days later, and when I showed up to pick up the car, I was hard pressed to even tell it had a clear bra installed. Although the extreme contour of the bumper required a seam, it was very low on the bumper and very discrete. I was very pleased with Jim and his team. Jim's shop is modest, and is located off the main road, but it's well worth finding. Jim is genuinely interested in what he does, and takes pride in his work. Took a couple tries on the rear window but Jim got it right and also retinted cheap when I had it replaced.

Went in today for a full tint. As I left I noticed the film was dirty. I called them to have it looked at and they basically told me that I could come back in but the damage wasn't their problem. Even tho I had noticed their work wasn't at its best AS I WAS LEAVING. I still went in to talk to the manager, and I was told again that they wouldn't fix it. I'm completely unsatisfied with this place, I went in thinking they were going to give me awesome service, and left knowing I will never go back there again. read more

Took my new car to Jim for 3M rock chip film. Jim was wonderfully flexible and got me in for an appointment the day after I called; work was done fast and he stayed late for me to pick up my car. He also went above and beyond, pulling the grill and wrapping behind it instead of cutting the film at the edge, as well as fulling wrapping the edges of the hood.
