I had my car tinted here and just realized I never wrote a review. The owner Brandon is very detailed at explaining the different tint products from good, better, best, best plus. He even has a heat lamp with the different tint films so you can physically see how the tint blocks out heat, especially with their top two XPEL products. Some of the other reviews mention that Brandon is not very personable, but I had no issues communicating with him. He can be very direct and is extremely busy answering phone calls, responding to online requests, and actually doing the installs. Once you decide on what you want, he makes it happen. The attention to detail was really good, and they even tape off your window buttons in your car so you do not accidentally roll your windows down. Everything came out really clean, the cuts were perfect, and I was extremely happy with their service. I messaged with him through Yelp and made an appointment to get the windows, and possibly sunroof, tinted on my new 2019 Forester. He called me beforehand to confirm the appointment and was ready for me when I got there. Right away, he walked me through my options, showed me the difference between ceramic and regular tinting, and helped me pick the best shade for my front and back windows. He gave me a 3-4 hour time estimate, but was done in 2 hours. My car looks amazing. The work is impeccable. No lines, no bubbles, no discoloration. I chose ceramic tint to help keep out heat - worth every penny. He gives a full warranty on all work except sunroof (and it costs extra). He put tape over my window buttons so I'd remember not to open them. He also gave me a can of window cleaner and a microfiber cloth. I highly recommend this shop to everyone. read more

I called in mid-May to make a Saturday appointment for window tinting. Soonest I could do on a Saturday was June 19th. I was SUPER excited to finally get my windows tinted and thought I found a great company based on the reviews. Unfortunately today, June 18th, my dad was placed in ICU. I tried to figure out if I could possibly bring my car in still because I don't like to cancel appointments late and I also paid a $50 non-refundable deposit. I called and asked to just reschedule because of my father being in ICU. I was told I couldn't. Then was told like link people to call 2-3 days before. I explained I didn't know my dad would be in ICU 2-3 days before my appointment. I was told I could bring it by 6pm today and they would do it in the morning or I could cancel and then have to re-pay my deposit. Seeing as I am sitting beside in ICU waiting for doctors, etc I couldn't leave to drop my car off. I wish I could have made my appointment. I wish I could have been able to give more notice but family comes first and emergencies happen. I know they are a business and need to make money. But I do think re-scheduling in an emergency could have been considered at least. While I do think Diamond Window Tinting will do a great job (again based on reviews), when I am able to tint my windows I will find somewhere else. read more

Before choosing DWT for the PPF, I did closely evaluate and visit another highly rated tint and PPF installer, but I chose DWT because Brandon presented himself as the option with the higher standards and more attention to detail. Brandon thoroughly explained the jobs both before and after completion. I have been impressed with his attention to details. The XPEL film job has been mostly fine for the past 4 years. A few difficult areas were lifting, but they honored their warranty of "all films and installations for as long as you own the vehicle with receipt." I was very happy that those few areas were redone. Warranty support is huge. I highly recommend DWT for PPF because they perform high quality work and honor their warranty. Had my 21 Outback tinted, the work is outstanding. They were able to fit me in same day and were very helpful showing the differences between tints. Dropped my car off, walked to South Center and ran some errands while they worked on my car. They said it would take 3 hours, I started walking back at around the 2.5 hour mark, and they called while I was walking to let me know it was all done and ready.
