I don't recommend this Jiffy Lube. They kept trying to charge me for the most expensive oil for an oil change, even though I had called ahead to confirm they had conventional oil, which my car can use. I've been upcharged at jiffy lube before because "they ran out of the cheaper oils", so I was being extra careful this time. One of the employees also shook his head at me in a condescending way, like I was wrong for not agreeing to the more expensive option. The whole experience felt shady and uncomfortable. I brought my big E450 Van / former SWAT (now RV) vehicle into Jiffy Lube. It took extra long because the filter was jammed. Having spent 3 years in an auto mechanic program I know this happens. They had to pull it out in pieces, had a great attitude, and got it done. I preferred the regular oil - but they were out of the cheap stuff - so gave me the synthetic $Rotella$ at no extra charge. *Please read full review* I was extremely unhappy with my first visit, but decided to wait until my next service before I wrote my review. Here's what happened. So I first came to this location in December 2023. My first impressions were not good. At all! It was early winter and the waiting room was freezing cold. No TV, the room was completely empty except for a few chairs and was not very clean or inviting. And COLD! I brought this up to the staff and they more or less blew me off. I was so cold I was starting to shiver and my nose was even starting to run! I paid my bill after a pretty long wait. I checked my oil a week later and noticed it was actually low! So I returned and they topped off the oil and confessed that the oil filter (as memory recalls) wasn't on tightly enough. I'm so glad I checked!! They apologized and offered me an appropriate gesture to assure they had a second opportunity to keep my business. By the way, they opened up the bathroom door this time and turned on the heater in there so it would heat up the waiting room as well. A good improvement, but they said it was temporary. And it looked like they had started to clean up the waiting room a bit, definitely a better experience! So I returned recently and made use of the discount they offered me on my oil change and I had my tires rotated as well. They were very helpful and accommodating. The wait was reasonably short and since it was a sunny day, the waiting room was comfortably warm. They finally put in a TV, but the whole time it just played their video about services they offer and how to service your vehicle. So here I would like to offer a suggestion: put on interesting content or just a regular TV channel and let the customers watch a show. Also, put in a water cooler or a coffee machine and make it a little nicer place to have to spend 30-60 minutes. I bet you get more positive feedback! read more

I went in for a top off on my oil (which I didn't know was a free service that Jiffy Lube offered until I got an oil change there four months ago.) Not only did they top off my oil but they gave me lots of insight into what was making my car make a bit of a clunking sound recently. Apparently I wasn't warming the car up enough on these cold mornings and my oil was turning to sludge! They also pointed out a scuff/tear on the side of my front tire that might be the source of a slow leak. Full of information, and didn't try to sell me a thing! Visited the Jiffy Lube located in Downtown Seattle on 4th Ave first but they were out of the oil filter for my car, so I gave this location a call and it was my lucky day! Drove up to Wallingford and waited in the drive thru line for an oil change. After about 10-15 minutes, they were ready for me so I moved my car into the lane. The service here was spectacular, on top of the speed and efficiency in getting my oil changed. What I appreciated most about the people serving me was their transparency. I dislike it when employees are pushy in trying to get me to add on any additional goods or services (although I also understand that sometimes this is just a job responsibility), or try to milk me for my money when I appear to be unknowledgeable about the good or service. But not here! They were honest from beginning to end and helped me in getting just what I wanted/needed. I was out of there about 15 minutes after that and left very satisfied. Unfortunately I didn't get anyones names but they really do all deserve a shout out! read more

I've been getting oil changes at this location for over a decade. They consistently do a great job for less than it costs to get the same service done by my regular mechanic across town. And if I stop by between oil changes for a quick look at the fluid levels before a road trip, they top them off at no charge. This past week I realized that my car battery was dying, and called about replacing it. They didn't have the battery I needed in stock (understandably - it's an old car), but still offered to install the part if I purchased the battery elsewhere. With their help, my issue was solved in an afternoon. HUGE THANKS to Jonathan in particular for his great customer service. This shop will have my business for the long haul! read more

First time I came to this location for an oil change was in 2021. They forgot to screw on the oil cap so I'm sure you can guess what happened next. Lol. Needed another oil change today, and my regular place wasn't open, so decided to give this location another chance. It says on the website that a signature oil change includes them cleaning exterior windows and vacuuming interior. Neither of these services were performed. Also, when they topped off my tires they screwed that up completely. Each tire has a different psi and the low pressure warning light is now on. I feel bad leaving this negative review because everyone working there was very polite. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Very irritated and will not be giving any jiffy lube my business in the future. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. 1. Wrench left INSIDE my engine compartment. Glad I didn't drive too far and have it fall into my belts or fan. Seth said, "We don't use that kind of wrench here, but I'll take it if you don't want it". How did it get in my engine compartment then? So I asked for that to be done. Then I had the audacity to ask if the oil was even changed. I mean, the pressure and fluids weren't, so it's a reasonable question. Seth blew up with an "excuuuuuuuuse me" and a head wag, as if that was the most unreasonable, insulting assumption any customer could make. After that it was obvious that I had offended the Lube Gods, as he did not ask any of his techs to check the tire pressure. I was told it was not a priority and waited 15 minutes while they attended to other cars, as it is "first come first served". When I politely pointed out that I was there yesterday and made another trip in just to get it fixed, I was told "if you're going to have an attitude like that, you can wait in your car". It was obvious retaliation for pointing out the incompetence of the work that was done (or not done, to be more specific). That was the worst customer service I've experienced in years. Don't trust Seth's smarm, either online or in person. I fully expect a follow up to this review gushing with buzzwords masquerading as professional customer service. I'll probably be accused of being the unreasonable one. I just wanted what I paid for and did not get it. I was professional and polite and it was not reciprocated. Based on prior reviews it looks like there may have been a management change. Reviews are trending down. Don't go here. If you do, and don't get what you paid for, suck it up. This place has gone downhill. Last time I was in there was oil smeared all over the car and my tire low pressure indicator was still on, even though I paid for the tires to be checked. I don't know anything about cars or what goes in them so I had my dad look at it And he said the oil also wasn't at the right level. I rely on professionals to do the job do and to get what I paid for. I did not get it this time. I'm so glad my dad could look at it before any damage was done to my car. The guys were very nice on the surface but when I called to get it taken care of they were very rude. Buyer beware. UPDATE I took my car to grease monkey By U village and they took care of everything on their checklist. They said it didn't look like anything except the oil was done by Jiffy Lube in Wallingford. And they didn't even charge me! OMG customer for life. UPDATE UPDATE I talked to my insurance company and they said since the oil level was ABOVE full, Jiffy Lube probably didn't drain the oil. They just added more to the old oil. That's because they know how many quarts my car takes and they would never put too much in there if they were following the specifications. This is so bad. My brother got an oil change here and we highly regret it. They overfilled the car with too much oil, to the point that it is now not running at all. Now we're completely stuck with a car (Toyota Camry, was fine before this debacle) that doesn't run. This is awful. The location doesn't want to accept any accountability. We are going to have to call corporate. We're all extremely let down by it. You are better off taking your car to the dealership. Guy spent way to much time trying to upsell me on just about everything. Tried to quote me $10 extra until I called them out by making them show me price online, and they readjusted price. Made me wait outside the bay to pay while guy went thru his whole intro to the 3rd car in line. 2nd guy finally took my payment and called me Mrs...where did that come from. I went to Jiffy Lube on 45th, and - surprisingly - it was a very positive experience. In no time at all I had a new battery, and the price came in less than my internet search had prepared me for. They Don't Write Back or own up to mistakes! Have written to corporate, to be referred to them individually as a branch, then to have not been responded to for weeks now. Came in for an oil change and there was a line. Okay. Told an hr wait. Okay. Line was mismanaged and people who came after me got in before me and others. . . Okay. In the line you can not leave. 2 hrs and 30 min later went through. One dude Chris was helpful and knowledgeable but there were nearly 10 employees running this way and that not doing anything helpful. Got wipers. Person couldn't figure out how to put them on. No acknowledgement of the wait, or the lack of organization. $100 + dollars and nearly 3 hrs later left to write an email. No reply. Wrote again, promised to write back. Days later referred to the branch it self. No response. It's okay to have an off day. It's okay to make mistakes but write back. Answer. Apologize. Make it right. Zero of that going on. I stopped by because my BMW had coolant warning light. Within 5 minutes of pulling into the driveway, Seth greeted me. Seth advised me to go get BMW specific coolant and told me the quantity I needed. After I brought it back, Seth showed me indicator for low coolant, how much I need to keep it topped off, what kind of coolant to use so that I can service it myself in the future. Seth also gave me pointers I can google myself to service my car (E90) in general via my laptop and parts I needed. He also told me future issues I can run into with my specific vehicle. All of this in 10 minutes of pulling into the shop during lunch time. And to top it off, he charged me $0 for all of his advise. I usually get my oil changes at my car dealership. Oil light and tire pressure light were on so I wanted it taken care of ASAP. Went to Jiffy and they had no line just one person ahead of me. The Manager called me Ma'am and then he called the other Woman little lady. Just so you know for future reference nobody likes being called Ma'am. As far as the service goes they wiped down my windows nicely with a greasy AF rag! Pretty much dirtier than before! My wiper fluid was out and guess what? They never filled that either..... Driving away I realized the tire pressure light was STILL on. I figured some kind of malfunction in the vehicle. Did you all even change my oil or just top errr off? Today I went to the dealership and they told me the tire pressure was low in all tires and they even wiped my windows! Imagine that! No charge! Going to stick with my wonderful car dealership & not goin back to Jiffy! I do NOT trust this place! Update: No, I don't want your number. We've been coming here for years. The people working here all seem really positive and when I forget my coupons, they always make it right. Last time, I hit a small snag. Chris V and his team did their best to fix the problem and gave me a great discount for the delay. Everytime my husband's car (Mini Cooper) needs service he sighs about how it will take all day to take it out to the dealership and getting to Lake City Way is a huge hassle. I always tell him. Wow! I've never had such a great experience getting my oil changed! Bill was so friendly right away and immediately let me know how long he thought it would take to get my car in. I've been to multiple jiffy lube locations and by far the best experience I've had thanks to their fast and friendly service! I really appreciated Bill asking for my input in setting the miles for my next oil change as well as letting me know what he thought given his experience. He provided real input - not just what he thought was going to get me back in the door. However, it wasn't just Bill who was friendly and attentive - Syd was also great by providing extra input about my vehicle!
