Good service, friendly staff, the manager showed me my air filter was trashed and gave me a discount on a new one. Got my oil changed in 20 minutes. The only reason they did not get 5 stars is that one of the employees was very obviously sky high on methamphetamine, eyes bulging out of her skull, chewing her bottom lip and grinding her teeth in wild motions. Had a really awful experience with these guys around a year ago (they put the wrong spark plug in my engine, it shattered and I stalled out in the middle of the road). Really resented the hell out of them for a while but have had good experiences the last couple of times, particularly today (thanks Curtis). While I certainly will never let them perform complicated work on my car again, they are fast and reliable for oil changes and other basic maintenance and I would recommend them to anyone if that's all you need. read more

Let me start this by saying they were not able to help us. However, when I called ahead to see if they were even open (because the Coburn one wasn't), the gentleman who answered the phone was super friendly and assured me that if he couldn't help, he would find someone who could. Turns out my car takes a rare fluid (a problem I've been running into since I got this car). He called around to try to locate the right stuff but because it was a Sunday, he didn't have any luck. I couldn't have asked for more even though he couldn't help. I don't want someone to be doing work on my car if they can't guarantee it (which he couldn't if we had purchased the fluid from elsewhere) so I'm still satisfied. read more

I just went here yesterday and I wish I could give them 10 stars, the staff are extremely polite, they didn't treat me like a dumb college student who doesn't know the first thing about cars so i never felt like they were pulling my leg trying to get more money out of me. In fact they did the exact opposite, Danny was one of the many workers who helped me and he showed me the issues and actually taught me about my car. They were friendly and hospitable as well as chivalrous, opening doors and showing me the way. Not only did they do an amazing job when they were done they had vacuumed my car and had it waiting for me ready to go with the heat already on and the door open for me. The 12 guys working on my one car with no other vehicles in the bays were very nice and knowledgeable. After spending $250 for a transmission flush, a brake fluid flush, toilet flush, etc., I still have to pay five dollars for a god damn car wash. A crappy car wash at that. Used to be able to fill up your gas tank and get a free car wash for god sake. Maybe they shouldn't have 12 people working on one car? Came in for a simple oil change and it took over 30 minutes. I'm from out of town and at home it takes about 10 minutes for the same service. Also found it annoying to be offered at lest 4 other services that I really do not need. The counter man was courteous and friendly. I won't be back, though. Too slow. read more

This Jiffy Lube was terrible. The brake job was done w/parts on backwards and missing. They kept our truck overnight w/o asking us if they could do so. My disabled husband was left w/o a way home and left locked out of their shop in downtown Eugene on a dark Friday night. They did work we didn't request and then charged us for it. They wouldn't refund our $. We took them to small claims court and won. Danny is a manipulator, their boss was a rude, mean aggressive liar bs-ER, the top boss is absent. Just called a few days ago asking if they were doing a free oil change on veterans day for vets and they said that they were. Go there and after getting the car in there they say they have no knowledge of a veterans discount and "try to stay out of corporate as much as possible." Unethical. The last time I brought my car in for a simple oil change, it took an hour and a half and they convinced me to get my power steering fluid flushed, totaling over $100, AND I recently had a dealership tell me it hadn't even been replaced and am now spending well over that to have it done elsewhere. They also failed to give me a mileage sticker for getting my oil changed again. I'm a graduate student on a very tight income. This was a complete waste of money and time and I won't be going back. If you decide to give them your business (which I don't recommend, having read several stories similar to or worse than mine) stick to an oil change. DON'T let them do any other work on your vehicle. It's not worth it or ethical. read more

I went in for a oil change, which seemed to go well, but suddenly I was on the hook for over $500! I was told I needed replacement brakes, Rotor replaced, to the tune of over $300.00. I was informed it was a 'safety issue', and needed immediate replacement. I informed the jiffy Lube staff, I had a friend who works out of his house, and I would have him check out my brakes. I got a call back, from said friend, that the car has at least 10.000 more miles of wear left! I went to Jiffy Lube today to get my oil changed since they have the best price. I had bought an air filter and tail light right before going in, hoping they would put in the filter I bought for free but wasn't really expecting it. Today I was blessed to have Isaac work on my car. There was a radio special going on, which I did not know about. They gave me the oil change for the almost $10 special, which their already low price is $19.99, so I was very excited. On top of the great sale, Isaac installed the air filter AND, the tail light. As a female in her early 20s, I have never had a better Jiffy Lube experience. They didn't try to sell me something I didn't need, they just changed my oil. The ONLY thing they told me about was that my brake lights were out and asked if I wanted to get them changed or do it myself. They said I needed a tranny flush and a powersteering flush and I went to 2 other places to see if I needed and both told me no. I had previously had my oil change at a different jiffy lube in pdx and they forgot to put the lid back on the engine oil. I didn't know when I drove the car from Portland to Eugene to visit my daughter and she pointed out the oil spill all over the front of the car. The next morning I brought my car to this jiffy lube and they refilled my oil for free which was almost empty , double checked all covers and filters and gave me a free car wash. These folks make me feel "cared for". There are fast, courteous and responsive. When I pull up someone comes right over to help me. For what I get, the price is very fair. They let me know exactly what the status of my car is before and after the service. I get great tips on what needs to be maintained in the future. I had drove in from Portland for work, and saw that this location was open until 5:00 pm on a Sunday. This worked out great for me, because it is extremely difficult to get my oil changed during the week. I arrived at 4:40 pm today, and was promptly told that they were not going to have time to get to me today, to come back in the morning. ARE YOU SERIOUS? I have never in my life been turned away from a business when I arrived before they closed! And NO, I cannot come back in the morning because I have to work, and I live in Portland!! Really disappointed in this place. Have been going here for a few years and usually had pretty decent service. Went to take my wife's car there on Sunday at 10:15am and whole place is shut up tight with no one around. Hours on their website as well as ON THEIR DOOR state Sunday hours are 10-5. I realize we just had a holiday but if you are going to be closed special hours, the least you can do is put a sign on the door. read more

Took my son's car here for an oil change before heading back to CA. The next morning we got up early and by the time we were in Grants Pass we were out of oil. Apparently, we did not have a drain plug. I have been going back and forth with the Regional manager for reimbursement for all my expenses which include visits to mechanics and oil. The cheap owner will not reimburse me for over $500 in expenses. I should have taken him to small claims court and sued him for the engine replacement. Don't take your car here for an oil change! Worst place I've gone. Don't care about their customers or fixing their mindless mistakes. I went to this jiffy lube to get my last oil change. I got a new filter and they left my filter hose off. Which resulted in my car breaking down and I was out of a car for 3 days.Thankfully that was all it was, so I paid my mechanic for his services and the towtruck. It High mileage expensive oil change. An expensive towtruck ride. And I paid my mechanic for helping me put it on. Jiffy Lube was going to do nothing about it, but with enough convincing that they owe me so something, they offered me another oil change. So I tried to go in and get it today they told me they had it written down and it would be provided to me. Well that was false. I am low income and this was going to help me out some. They told me I could not get it and the manager would be in on Monday and I could talk to him but he would definitely say no too. So I decided to try Walmart today to get an oil change at jiffy lube which would normally cost me $59.99+ Because I heard the prices went up $20+ for a filter. That they always say you need. Walmart's was $30.00 Filter $13.50. I didn't need it . Walmart rocks. This Jiffy Lube sucks.They're not even owned by Jiffy Lube they just own their name. They changed Companies 6 months ago. Sketchy business model based on exploiting people who don't know cars/playing on your fears to sell you things that are unnecessary. Tried to convince me that I needed a new serpentine belt or would break down soonish. I agreed to it for $100, they came back minutes later saying it would be $170. I declined to have the repair done. However, they had already started and wanted a service fee for putting my old belt back in. I refused. The dispute could only be settled by me calling the police to get my car back. I visited a different car mechanic who told me that my belt does not have to be replaced. Ownership was not responsive to me reaching out to resolve the issue. read more
