10/10 Fastest, most efficient oil change. Been going to M***s for years for oil changes, they stopped doing conventional. Came here solely for that. But holy crap! I was in and out in max 10 minutes, they showed me all of my fluids and filters and topped everything off and checked everything. They communicate with you the whole time and you can decline anything at any point. I drive a lowered, very well maintained truck. I don't trust most places with it but this place was awesome. Never going back to a drop off place. Also the customer service was awesome, all of the employees had a smile on their face. Good prices, free car wash and top off included. I've been taking my vehicles (3) to Lube it USA on River Road for 20 years. During all that time I have received great service for all types of work not just oil changes. But 2 weeks ago (May 2024) I took my truck in for an oil change. Never in my whole life of 73 years have I been treated so rudely and disrespectful for no reason. My service related questions were either ignored or I was given a one word condescending answer with no eye contact. I could overlook a young, inexperienced employee but this guy said he had been there for 12 years. From now on I will take my business elsewhere and never go back. read more

I love Lube It... They are fast an friendly. But, why only four stars? They always seem to try and uosale products that I do not need (ie, automatic transmission fluid change... Yes, they said it twice, but I drive a standar transmission vehicle). I know, it still requires fluid, but MTF fluid not ATF fluid. It maybe a small detail, but you'd think they would know the difference when the guy is standing at my driver window telling me this. It's a Focus, so not like he could not see the gear shift.. Anyways, it's just a minor detail (BTW, it doesn't need to be changed til 110K miles which is like 15k miles more) and besides that they are quick and reasonably priced! read more

I've been taking my cars to Lube It USA on River Road since they opened decades ago. in general I've had great service. Today, 4/29/2023, I took my car in and specifically asked the employee generating the paperwork, to be sure and check my battery and fill up my window washer fluid. This was at 9:10AM and there were 5 employees standing in front of my car and I assume there was one in the pit. I had not seen any of them in the past so I asked if everyone was new and was told "mostly". As I watched from the driver's seat 4-5 of the employees stood in front of my car and talked to each other. The only thing checked under the hood was the dip stick after the oil was delivered and then addadditional oil from a container. At no time was the battery checked, the washer fluid was not checked or filled and the air filter was not even touched. After paying I asked to speak to the manager, Chas, and I expressed my disappointment in the service and he said "did you want me to check the washer fluid now" and then he said "your air filter only has about 4500 miles" (he had no idea of my driving conditions). He then said he could check the battery if I wanted him to. Looking at the pre-printed and pre-filled out invoice it stated that all of these things, including the transmission fluid was checked. It had not been checked either. These invoices were apparently pre-filled out to reflect services that were not performed. I told Chas I was going to notify the owner and I was disappointed in all of this and would contact the owner. All they did was change the oil and I did not see if the oil filter was changed. This was not only terrible service. it was deceptive and inaccurate. No services preformed. I'll never come back here and I'll tell my friends of this experience and they can make their own decisions. This used to be such a friendly and reputable place. This was my first time in a drive-in oil change shop EVER. I get very nervous when it comes to car maintenance but I felt EXTREMELY comfortable and welcomed at Lube It USA. I was promptly greeted by Larry, who was super friendly but didn't waste any time getting straight to the point. My truck was only serviced for about 10-15 minutes... maybe? Possibly even less than that. I was not harassed by any of the employees trying to upsell their product, but they had appropriately informed me on the condition of my air filter, transmission fluid, tire pressure and such. First time I've ever gone to a drive-in oil change shop in years. Their team performed a full check on the vehicle along w the oil change we requested. They did not try to up-sell anything, but the oil... which was nice. Generally, I switch out all my oils to 10kmile synthetic but, w my diesel, I stay with the manufacturer's recommendation. I have had my truck serviced here for the last 5 years, mainly due to convenience more than anything else. Today I went in for lube oil and filter. After being guided into position over the pit there was one disappointment after another. Said they would clean air filter for me and then did not. When I asked about it I was told, "Oh, ... we don't do that,... it looked like we would have to take out bolts and we only do the easy things... not like that. My husband went to take my car in because it was New Years Eve and I couldn't get my car into BMW. We just also had a huge winter storm and coming from San Diego I wasn't really familiar with driving in the snow. However when I did finally drive it, it seemed like it had a leak somewhere or something was off as of it didn't want to drive. Kevin the manager was extremely helpful. My husband brought it in and Kevin noticed that it had only beeb driven 100 miles since the last oil change but he still checked all fluids and even put it up to the diagnostic computer to see if any codes popped up. He was so professional and suggested that I warm it up longer prior to driving it. Which unfortunately I'm not too good at. After everything checked out I drove it and it ran just fine. I truly appreciate his honesty and his willingness to go above and beyond. I have been to other places that try to upsell you when it's not needed. Whatever you do NEVER EVER do a engine flush! We went there for a simple oil change. Then were told we need a engine oil flush because we were over 3000 by just a little less then 10%. Now the engine is worthless!!! No help from Lube it USA. Basically told to go to hell. They suggested the the flush, they should stand up for there recommendations . If we asked for the service, I would look at it differently. They should tell it could be harmful to the engine. The same way a product discloses things on the box. We got a male technician yesterday morning at the River Rd. location, who was apparently on his 13th Red Bull and had completely lost touch with reality. His behavior was inappropriate for the job since he doesn't work as a rodeo clown or as a pro heckler. The man was hyped up, on edge, and wild eyed. Customer service? No. He became queerly fixated on the low miles on the car and spent the entire 15 minutes ranting to 3 other technicians and "teasing" (harassing) me and my friend in his over the top manner. BIZARRE experience. Dude needs to get off whatever substance he is on and try and _be respectful_ to others. Neither one of us will ever return. My friend called the manager who was indifferent and casual about it all. So that must be how the tech feels comfortable enough to continue his wildly inappropriate demeanor. I have been taking my vehicles to this Lube It U S A for over 10 years for scheduled maintenance of my cars, and they have alway been honest and up front about what my vehicle needs and have done a great job. They are a local company with only 2 locations and you can tell because of the higher level of customer service. We recently purchased a new Subaru Crosstrek from out of town because the local Kendal dealership didn't have what we wanted. I called Kendal to ask about an oil change. I had done my research and knew that it required synthetic oil. I just had questions about it and considered them for the job. I was told I had to make an appointment then transferred twice and finally hit a voice mail. Kendal lost my business just then, if they can't answer a simple oil change question they don't deserve my business. I then called Lube It U S A because I had used them in the past so often, and they answered my questions on the spot. The car indeed used Synthetic oil and needed to be change every 6,000 miles. I saw a review from someone complaining about $70 for an oil change. Yes, synthetic oil that some cars require is much more expensive, but doesn't need to be replaced as often. So the cost is about the same. Our Subaru only has 2500 miles on it but I will be taking it to Lube It U S A when I need the first oil change. Kendal didn't seem to want my business which is to bad for them. But I can't tolerate bad customer service and won't give and company my business if they don't put customer service at the top of their list. So I decided to try this place out- not only was I in and out in 20 min, I have never had such An awesome experience. They really try to up-sell you with addons, which I expect, but when you finally convince them all you want is oil and filter change, they invent bogus charges to get more money out of you. I stopped in to see if they could install a front turn signal bulb in my car, I already had purchased the bulb thinking I would do it myself but thought better of it after realizing I would need to get on my knees to do it. Not only did the very nice gentleman install the bulb for me but did so at no charge! I would have happily paid to have it done so was very pleasantly surprised when he said, no charge. This is the kind of service one might have received many years ago but is unheard of these days. I highly recommend this establishment for your auto service needs! read more
