The woman at the front desk is FABULOUS. They did change my oil and that seemed to go well, other than interacting with a mechanic there. I have a vehicle that is old, and I simply want to do what I gotta do to keep it running. The mechanic I spoke with who pointed out some things that need done, just interacting with him made me uncomfortable. He wasn't friendly, I felt underlying passive aggressiveness + judgement for not jumping at the chance to book services (it is a financial issue!). Also I came here a year ago and it was the same feeling from him, he said it was almost past due to get new brake pads. I still haven't done new brake pads. Today I took my car elsewhere and my brake pads are at 6mm, so they have more mileage than he gave the impression of. I won't come back, my gut told me don't go there again. Integrity Auto Repair is anything but a shop with integrity. They egregiously overcharge for parts. I had a job done there recently and I later learned that they marked up a replacement part 300%! More than the part cost if I had purchased it new from the dealership. They also tried 2 aftermarket parts prior to that and charged me the labor to install each one, then had to return them due to part failure, and finally replaced the part with a new one. They did not inform me ahead of time that they triple charged me for the labor and they did not inform me that they add an extra markup to their parts. They also never provided me with any progress updates throughout the lengthy repair and never informed me about the delay with parts until I reached out to them. I would never go this this dishonest shop that price gouges unknowing customers. read more

I'm sorry to say that I've lost the trust I had for these people. I've taken both of our cars in for oil changes and routine inspection. They always point out the need for fluid flushes, fuel system cleaning etc. I usually decline these services until I've checked the fluids myself. Almost always cleaner than they'd like you to believe. We recently brought in a vehicle for a pre purchase inspection. They ran up quite an estimate for a number of recommendations. Nearly $5000 total. One of the recommendations was to replace 1 headlight bulb at $179. I went down the street to an Autozone store and I bought the bulb for $17 and the salesperson installed it for free. They also quoted prices to replace the lower control arms and CV axles for over $2300. Most of their prices seemed rather high. I called another very reputable shop and got quotes several hundred dollars less. We noticed some shuddering when braking and occasional stalling. Even though we told them about that problem they Integrity had no diagnosis for it. We took the car into the other shop to have the suspension work done and diagnose the stalling problem. This other reputable and honest shop said the the CV axles and control arms were in fine condition and did not even remotely needed replacing. They did diagnose the stalling problem as the transmission beginning to breakdown. Estimate $4500 (I've checked other shops and they all estimated slightly higher cost) If we had taken all of 'Integrity's' recommendations we would have spent nearly $5000 and would still have had the stalling problem. Needless to say, I will not be going back to Integrity because of their lack of integrity. If you read other reviews you'll see some other very negative reviews by people who know more about cars and some very positive reviews from people who were grateful to get their cars serviced and willing to pay very high prices. read more

Offer an efficient in/ out process. 3. Provide transparent transactions - no "surprise" add-ons BUT equally important for me as a woman is this: I want to be treated respectfully as PARTNER in the transaction and NOT be "lectured" to, as often happens when women enter a car repair shop. I was wanting to make this place my go-to because it's right around the corner. I've used them a few times, and I just wanted my decision to be based on actual auto repair bc it should be but damn it if the wife at the counter didn't bring up (in less than *5 minutes*) "they shouldn't be opening up any borders and letting those people in" and complaining about women that have a lot of babies so they can stay on welfare. Yeah I went to tivity Auto they had my truck for a couple days repairing something in my heater I had a bad hose and then just before closing they said that my vehicle is available I went in to pay little over $500 and while I was in there I was already paying the bill and then somebody came in from behind the counter rudely asked me can I help you like I was doing something wrong I didn't answer him and then he asked again rudely can I help obviously I was already paying for my vehicle to be returned to me and the guy just wouldn't let up he was so rude I feel very out of place I was giving this company my money and I felt attacked I'm not going back read more

Used a special they had for an oil change. They said my rear brakes were 0/ 32 and my front brakes were under 4/32 of life remaining. Bought the parts and had my mechanics start changing them. Except both front and rear brakes had over 3/4 of the pads left. Still paid my mechanic but I wonder how much they would have charged? Get a second opinion with these folks... read more

More misinformation from Mike. First of all... YOU NEVER CALLED ME TO PICK UP THE TRANSMISSION! I called YOU before it was delivered and said that there was a shipping mistake and that I would pick it up! Mike Says, "This is a Transmission that other shops do not install" That is a lie. The first shop I called did install it, and for less than HALF of what Mike quoted me. I've worked in the automotive industry for 15 years and for someone to say "this is a transmission that other shops do not install" is laughable. The shop owner was never "Shocked" that I had a transmission on the way and they never called anyone in regards to the price of the transmission on my wife's 2012 Ford Fusion, in fact, I asked him what a new transmission would cost and he gave me a guess of $4500.00 or so..... Mike gave me a installation price on the phone immediately and without checking standard Mitchell labor times. He flat out quoted $2700.00 on labor and stated that they have a flat rate for a customer supplied transmission. That rate is over TWICE the ASE Mitchell labor cost for this specific transmission. The transmission was delivered to Integrity Auto Repair due to a packing slip error and Mike had every chance to refuse it and it would never have been sent back, but instead be rerouted to a honest transmission installer that charged us less than half of what Mike wanted. The bottom line is that he couldn't mark up the price of the tranny to increase his profit margin. Now for the rest of the story... I picked up the transmission from Integrity Auto Repair the same day to deliver it to a reputable shop. I found it odd that Mike had the packing slip in his hand (this packing slip is sealed on the crate when delivered) and handed it to me. He knew this transmission was mine after talking to me on the phone the same morning. There was no reason for him to open this. When I delivered the transmission to the other shop, I let them know that something was up and make sure to check out the transmission. As soon as it was installed, they started the engine and found that a plug had been loosened causing transmission fluid to spray everything under the hood. They tightened it up and we took the car home. The next day we returned it do to leaks. The shop found that every single plug was loose causing leaks on the entire Transmission. 5 total. The transmission shop at first didn't want to believe that another shop owner could be so vindictive but politely said that was probably the case. I called the company who rebuilt the transmission and explained the issue, they provided the information on the torque specs before the transmission left the facility. read more

I brought my Toyota FJ here after my battery died and replacing it did not work. The receptionist, Megan, was the sweetest and she was able to get me in for a consult same day. Within an hour actually. When we got there, Mike (the owner) came out to discuss the issues. I told him i thought it was the alternator and he advised he would like to look at other options just in case. Considering i was convinced it was my alternator, he could have just replaced in a charged me for that. Instead, he took a look and determined it was something else which turned out to be less expensive than the alternator. The only complaint i had is that he estimated the job would be $90-$150 dollars and i signed off on that estimate. Once he got working on the truck it turned out to be a little more than anticipated. I ended up paying $220 out the door. I wish he would have called beforehand to let me know the cost was going up. It just seems like good practice. Otherwise, i felt very taken care of at Integrity. I didn't feel like i was getting cheated or taken advantage of. Being female, it is always a little hard trusting mechanics (sorry to say) but i didn't get that vibe here. I have no problem with their automotive capabilities. I have enormous problems with their sales/customer service tactics. Here are some examples: quoting me $700 for a radiator replacement, while another auto shop quoted me $333. $2,200 for a headgasket replacement, $1,600 elsewhere. Quoting me $55-85 for a pressure test for my radiator, verbally telling me on the phone it would be $65, then when I got to pay the bill it's $86...which the service agent quickly explained was "so high because of the radiator cap they replaced." When I looked at the itemized bill on the second page, the radiator cap was $1. They bait you in, scare you with astronomical prices, then offer discounts if you do x, y, and z with them. Oh and did I mention that I'm a woman? They work hard to talk fast and intimidate you. I felt slimy leaving this place. I will never take my vehicle there again, because I would like to be treated with respect, not talked down to and bullied. read more

These guys were absolute life savers when the Check Engine light cut short my recent weeklong road trip through Oregon. I started having engine trouble while driving down the coast and none of the repair shops in the smaller towns there even had time available to diagnose what might be wrong. I somehow made it back to the I5 and pulled into Eugene during one of the busiest weeks of the year (they were hosting the World Athletics Championships with thousands of international visitors and sold-out hotel rooms all over). Integrity was able to fit me in for a same-day diagnostics appointment, called just two hours later and explained the issue they had found, laid out multiple options for how to proceed with pros and cons for each (without pressuring me or selling me on the most expensive solution), and then carried out the work that same afternoon with a free oil change thrown in for good measure. By the next morning, my car was ready to go again and carried me safely another 700 miles back home. They were beyond nice and caring during my interactions with them and my mechanic back home confirmed during a recent tune-up that they did "a really nice job" with the repairs they carried out. I have been here several times, I have tried so hard to love this place but each time I leave more disappointed. The last time was the breaking point. I took my husbands truck in for a appt and after the owner suggested the fix we needed would be around $1000 we decided not to do it, so I ask to make a appointment for new rotors on my car. She says ok and starts my estimation, the owner looks over her shoulder and says "we will put new break pads on also, since the appointment would be in October". Well that sounded great, got a estimate that I thought was for new front and rear rotors, plus a oil change. Well turns out after I got the work done the estimate had been for a rear break job and rear rotors. The owner is rude and acts as though he's doing you a favor. He explained that I got new break pads but had to pay for the labor, ok but I never asked for a break job. So here I am a couple weeks later with a car that still shakes and am out $400, and still need new front rotors. I live on a extremely limited income and feel screwed over. If I'm paying you for a service, you are not doing me a favor. Maybe take a customer service class and lean how to treat people so the want to come back. Don't judge a shop by it's name! 4 years ago, based on a friend's recommendation, I brought my truck to Mike at Integrity. It had a rusted freeze plug on the back of the engine, that would spray coolant when warmed up. The kind of job that's ~$900 labor to replace a $3 part. I asked him to replace them all with brass plugs, and he gave me some spiel about only needing to do the lowest one, doesn't make any sense to do them all. My thought being for that kind of labor, replace them all as a precaution because I don't want to pay that bill again. I re-iterated that I wanted them all done due to the labor cost. Well, he only did the one, and some other work that needed to be done, so $1450 later, it was driving again. This summer rolls around, and it's leaking coolant behind the engine again, so I take it back to Mike hoping he'll make good on what I asked for (unfortunately just verbally, didn't get it in writing). When I mentioned my previous request, he even tried giving me the SAME SPIEL, "only makes sense to do the one". No such luck, he agreed it was most likely another freeze plug, and the quote with some other work this time came back at $2550(!!!), and would not give me a break since I already asked and paid him to do the labor 4 years prior. So after that, I brought it to another shop just up the road, the mechanic said when they do this, they replace all the plugs, basically mentioned the same other work they thought needed to be done, and the estimate was $1000 (less than half of Mike's estimate)! read more

I came in the doors of Integrity Auto Repair a little jaded after the previous two mechanics I dealt with told me to bring my car in and then called me back after having it towed to them saying they were uncomfortable working on my BMW. That would have been a good thing to consider before you told me you could do the work! Finally I talked to Bryan at integrity Auto and he told me they had a BMW certified mechanic and they would get this done. Well, once he replaced my starter he found a dead short in the electrical leading to the starter. The poor guy had more BMW classes to take in the morning so he stayed till 9pm working out the electrical and fixed it. So stoked to get a call first thing in the morning, saying cars done. I had been to Integrity Auto before but after yesterday, NEVER AGAIN..I needed an alternator for my Subaru, get told my engine is toast to start thinking about another car in addition it would cost $7,000.00 to repair. I took my car up the street where I bought it from and they sent it to their mechanic and it cost me $195.00 and my car is running just as great as it was before. Mike is a nice person but this is absolutely absurd and have in mind to call the Better Business Bureau, when asking for the estimate in writing big boy did not want to do that rather I come in and take pictures.. I will never do business with so called Integrity Auto ever again and I will discourage any of my family and friends from taking any vehicle there. If I could give negative stars, I would. This shop completely ripped me off. I had to pay $150 for diagnostic testing (which most shops do for free). I spent 3 hours waiting for a guy to come out and give me a list of things he "recommended" I have replaced/fixed, including 4 new tires (which are brand new), new spark plugs (which are a year or so old) and a variety of fluid flushes, and he asked for a grand to have it all done. I paid the $150 fee to get my keys back and left. I took my car to a friend's shop in Portland and they said it would only be a few minor things that need repairing and it would cost about $500 total (and that's their pricing for anyone and everyone, not just a family discount). I find it rather interesting that none of the reviews I wrote back at the time of this event are still available online. It makes me wonder if one of those services that "clears up your online reputation" may have deleted my reviews without verifying the authenticity of the complaint. So, it is important that the story be told. Maybe he has changed, but when I did business with Mike he was uncaring and tried to make out like I was getting something for nothing. Even after putting well over $1500 in his pocket. I have had a problem with my serpentine belt for many years. I had Mike replace my timing belt when it broke, the car continued to have the belt issue. I talked directly and extensively about the details and history of the issue. He thought he fixed it, he did not. When the belt came off again, I took it back to Mike. Even after having the full background of the situation he treated it like some irritation because he could not figure out what the real problem was. The last time the serpentine belt came off and I took it back to Mike, he treated me like I was ripping him off because I had already paid for repairs and was wanting him to make it right... hello.. because the belt was coming off again even after he had worked with it repeatedly .. He blamed it on the "Idle Tensioner pulley". A part at least 3 other shops blamed as the problem. I have probably bought 8 of them since owning the car. The last thing Mike said to me on the subject.. I quote. "Take it to the Ford dealership next time and get them to tell you which pulley is going to go out". Frustrated at his own failure to diagnose the problem. I am not exactly faulting Mike for being incapable of diagnosing the problem, at least 5 other shops including the dealership I took it to at Mike's strong suggestion could not figure out the issue. I figured out that it was a warped shaft on the Alternator. 6 shops, over $5000 in "repair" cost and I figure it out on my own. Got to love it. My problem with Integrity Auto is very specifically at how rude, harsh and unprofessionally I was treated when Mike could not fix the problem and rudely just tried to get rid of me.. Get rid of his irritating problem. If any online "Reputation" fixing services read this, I have all the documentation from service before, during and after my car was worked on by Integrity. I can prove my point very exactly, so if you remove my review I will consider it a legal matter. My daughter had an estimate from another shop for repairs on her car for $600. Someone sent me a flyer about integrity's brake pad promotion for Breast Cancer Awareness and it sounded like a good deal and a great cause. The repairs cost more than double ($1400) the other mechanic's estimate. So I asked our regular guy and he said even with the added problem Integrity found it should have cost us about $500 less. I took my truck to integrity last Thursday . I have always used another repair shop but they are closed on Friday's. My truck sounded terrible, it was squeaking very badly! It's 11 years old so I was really concerned and didn't feel I could wait until Monday to get it fixed and didn't want to be out a vehicle all weekend. I had just had the pulleys replaced a month ago and the sound was getting worse! It was the water pump and the coolant. I picked it up Friday and it sounded amazing! No more maple syrup smell, and it runs really smooth. It was an expensive repair and I'm sure it could have been less "expensive" elsewhere but you get what you pay for people. I felt like they went the extra mile and even did a free diagnostic and let me know some future things that may need to be repaired. I appreciated very much. I hate being blindsided. I first brought my car to Integrity for an oil change based on recommendations from several people. Their receptionist, Meagan is extremely friendly and it's always so pleasant speaking with her. She told me on the phone that they do a free vehicle inspection on new cars that come into the shop, which is fine. But what was a little alarming is that the mechanic noted all these problems with my car that shouldn't have been there since I had barely gotten a service on my car through the dealership less than a year ago. So either Integrity is trying to get more money out of me for extra services or the dealership didn't go their job (which is unlikely). What I really like about Integrity is that they have free loaner cars, they give a free car wash for every car that gets serviced, and they offer a lot of ways to save money on your next visit such as referrals and package deals. When I came back a second time for a different service almost exactly one month later, I tried to use a coupon that I didn't realize expired a week before. They wouldn't honor it. Really? Why would they give me a coupon that I would have to use on a second visit that expired in less than a month? Unless they were expecting my car to break down again before then? That just kind of turned me off. I will still come back to Integrity, just because it's hard to find a good, honest auto shop. I'm a little cautious and I'm not sure how I feel about them yet. But my experience has been mostly pleasant and I feel that their prices are reasonable. Meagan is also really pleasant to deal with. The local Subaru dealership said I need head gasket's replaced, which I thought odd since I had them done at 135,000 miles (currently 179,000) and it hadn't shown up on last service report two months ago. Called some other local shops and got estimated but Integrity wouldn't give me a quote, but recommended I come in and they perform a Block test. So I went in and Loreen performed the test which indicated no gases were leaking from my engine block into the radiator and said he didn't believe head gasket repair was necessary. He suggested I monitor my oil and water level and if engine overheats immediately stop driving the car, but otherwise I should be ok. I will probably it back for full inspection but surprised no one else recommended this block test. Their name of Integrity is very appropriate and I will go back to them for any further car service. Additionally they came highly recommended from some friends, very glad I listened to their recommendation. Check them out if you have any issues, they are honest, which is rare today. read more

We called around to many repair shops looking for someone to fix the touch screen computer in my husband's 2008 Prius. Integrity was the only shop who said they could work on these touchscreen computers. When I initially called them, they were very nice and told me "the next available opening I have is today at 3pm" so we made arrangements to come in then. My husband took off work, I packed up the kids and we all drove there to drop off the car and get my husband back to work. When we arrived they told us they wouldn't be able to look at the car until 7 days later. UGH! Then why tell us to come at 3pm?!?!? It was a complete wast of our time. They apologized for the inconvenience and we went back 7 days later. This time they had the car for a couple of hours then called to tell us that they could not repair the unit, so the only way to get it working again would be to either replace the unit with a refurbished one for $2,400 or replace it with a new one for $6,500. I told him we could not afford that right now so would just have to do without a working touch screen for a while. A bit of online research revealed a way to get it done for $325 by taking the unit out and sending it to AutoBeYours. http://www.autobeyours.com/Ebay%20MFD%20listing.htm. Checked them out on the BBB website and they have an A+ rating (http://www.bbb.org/louisville/business-reviews/auto-dealers-hybrid-vehicles/autobeyours-com-in-scottsburg-in-30001030) and found fairly simple instructions for removing and replacing the unit on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RVROSJsPB3I). When we went back later in the day to pick up our car, the guy at Integrity told us (only after it was 100% clear we could not pay the $2,400) that he could have the unit sent out for repairs and then reinstalled for $900 (I'm betting he'd send it off to the same place we would [AutoBeYours] for $325 and charge us an additional $600 for the hour or so of labor needed to take apart the dash to get the unit out and then put it back together). On the plus side, Integrity told us they would charge up to $100 to diagnose the issue and when we picked up the car they only charged us $30 which I think is nice and honest. However, if taking the dash apart to diagnose the problem and putting it back together costed us $30 today, why would it cost $600 to get them to do nearly the exact same thing to send the unit off site for repairs and then reinstall it? I mean I know they're in business to make money, I just prefer businesses who charge an honest price for time spent working on it, not try to extract the maximum amount possible. My husband (who has a desk job and never been handy with cars) was able to take apart the dash and remove the computer in about 20 minutes. Mailed it off to AutoBeYours and got it back in a week, took another 10 minutes tops to install and put dash back together and the computer works just like new. All for $325... way better than paying Integrity $900 or $2,400. read more

We received a free oil change, 51 point inspection and car wash as was stated. Then we received the bad news of all the things that needed to be replaced or fixed to a total sum of $750.71. We asked for a copy of the work that needed to be done along with their prices. We checked around town and found their prices were twice as much as other auto shops. We were told the serpentine belt was starting to crack and needed to be replaced right away. The cost for this was $227.32. We took our truck to another auto shop who replaced it for $126.68. The belt did not have any cracks in it and really did not need to be replaced. And how about a transmission flush for $289.66. We had it done at a transmission shop for $140.87. This is just to list a few of the charges. I received a response Mike Morehouse to a comment I sent to their shop about their high prices. He said they offer more than an ordinary repair shop - free lunch coupons, free dinner coupons, snacks, soda etc. I don't care about all this free stuff since it really isn't free. If they charge double for their services, all the free goodies are paid for by you, the customer. I think they should lower their prices and stop gouging their customers. If you are happy with this shop, then stay with them. But, I would definitely check their prices with another auto shop before having the work done. I took my SUV in to have it looked at said I think it's the transmission which would have been covered under warranty they said it wasn't the transmission. I paid $500 to "fix" the shifting issues. Brought it back 6 weeks said it was acting up. They said YES it was the transmission it would be another $3000. By this point it was out of warranty. I left. No way I was going too let incompetence work on my rig. 6 months later decided to give them another chance. Brought my husband's truck in for an 'itemized estimate'. They charged id's $75 to tell us verbally what was wrong. I asked for an estimate in writing that said , we don't do that. Paid this rip off of a company $75 for nothing. I took my Land Rover in because of a shake in the engine during idling.... they did a diagnosis and oil change. I was very impressed with how nice everyone was and how well they treated everyone that came in while I was there. I'm a bit surprised by some of the negative reviews so I will only comment on my experience. It was pleasant and they ended up not charging me for the diagnostics and also gave me a complete list online about what they found and what was okay and what needed replacing. After closer inspection, the mechanics said they didn't want to work on the Land Rover and I ended up taking it to two other places. This is not a negative comment on Integrity, it is hard to find a car repair place that will work on Land Rovers.... in fact, the next repair place refused to work on it, also. (word of warning if you are looking at buying a Land Rover or Range Rover). Anyway, my experience was quite nice and I thought they were very honest and upfront and I would rather take it someplace else than to have it worked on by mechanics that aren't confident. So, that's a good thing. My son's truck also had alternator and starting problems while he was there to pick me up and they found that problem and loaned us a car, also. read more

I was very impressed with Integrity. They were extremely friendly and accommodating, and you can't beat their prices. I had a coupon for an oil change, tire rotation, and wiper blade replacement for $34. The shop is very warm and inviting, lots of snack and comfy couches. Best of all, they gave me a ride to work and picked me up when my car was finished. Very happy with them overall, I would go to them again! read more
