I took my SUV in to have it looked at said I think it's the transmission which would have been covered under warranty they said it wasn't the transmission. I paid $500 to "fix" the shifting issues. Brought it back 6 weeks said it was acting up. They said YES it was the transmission it would be another $3000. By this point it was out of warranty. I left. No way I was going too let incompetence work on my rig. 6 months later decided to give them another chance. Brought my husband's truck in for an 'itemized estimate'. They charged id's $75 to tell us verbally what was wrong. I asked for an estimate in writing that said , we don't do that. Paid this rip off of a company $75 for nothing. Took it to Dunks got honestly, and didn't get looked down on there. Never again Integrity. You should change your name...false advertising! read more

I took my Land Rover in because of a shake in the engine during idling.... they did a diagnosis and oil change. I was very impressed with how nice everyone was and how well they treated everyone that came in while I was there. I'm a bit surprised by some of the negative reviews so I will only comment on my experience. It was pleasant and they ended up not charging me for the diagnostics and also gave me a complete list online about what they found and what was okay and what needed replacing. After closer inspection, the mechanics said they didn't want to work on the Land Rover and I ended up taking it to two other places. This is not a negative comment on Integrity, it is hard to find a car repair place that will work on Land Rovers.... in fact, the next repair place refused to work on it, also. (word of warning if you are looking at buying a Land Rover or Range Rover). Anyway, my experience was quite nice and I thought they were very honest and upfront and I would rather take it someplace else than to have it worked on by mechanics that aren't confident. So, that's a good thing. My son's truck also had alternator and starting problems while he was there to pick me up and they found that problem and loaned us a car, also. read more

I have a 97 geo metro and took it to integrity auto because the shop I was using at the time (Action Auto) does not work on geo's and they recommended the shop. My car would just die on me while driving down the road, so when I took it in for diagnosis, Mike (owner of integrity) said I needed a new distributor. After they replaced the distributor, $900.00+ later, I drive no ore than 5 blocks from their shop and my car breaks down as if it had never been worked on. My son and I pushed the car back to integrity shop and demanded a refund until they could correctly diagnose the problem, which totally ruined my tight work schedule for the rest of the day. After about two hours of wasted time due to poor mechanics, Mike came back and said I still needed to replace my distributor but also needed to replace the fuel injector. I asked Mike to re-install my distributor and replace the fuel injector. They charged me $312.98 for the fuel injector (something you can buy "new" on ebay for around $32.00 with free shipping), and almost $200.00 to install the injector. A project that should take anyone that knows what their doing less than an hour to replace. After the repair, I noticed the smell of burning oil and could actually see smoke dispersing from the hood area, so I took my car back to integrity "again" (another hour and a half of my time wasted). Mike said my distributor (integrity reinstalled) had a bad seal and that is why it was leaking oil. The truth is, they didn't tighten the bolts tight enough for a good seal. Excuses, Excuses.... Then, I had to take the car back in for a third time to have them readjust the timing. However, the timing was not off by much. After all this fiasco, my car was still taking a while to start in the morning so I called mike and he said it was because I still needed to replace my distributor. I brought this to a friends attention that is a good mechanic but doesn't do it for a living and he said my starter was going out and my distributor was in good working order. At that point I still wanted to hold on to mike's expertise that my distributor was bad. So, I purchased a distributor for less than $300.00 (mike tried to charge me over $500.00) and replaced it myself, which only took me about 20 minutes. After replacing the distributer I was still having issues with the geo starting in the morning. I considered the timing may possibly be off since I replaced the distributer myself, so I called mike and asked how much he would charge to check the timing.... he told me $55.00. I called another very reputable shop in town and they said they would check timing for $15.00. $40.00 difference.... WOW! Long story short... my distributer never needed to be replaced. It was an injector issue and a starter issue. I will be replacing my starter soon through the same reputable shop that checked my timing for $15.00. It pays to shop around!! INTEGRITY AUTO DID A GREAT JOB WASHING MY CAR THOUGH. IT LOOKED REALLY GOOD BROKE DOWN ON RIVER ROAD. read more

For me, taking my car in has always been a stressful activity, but Integrity makes it enjoyable! I brought my car in for an oil change and to see why an Inspect alertwas showing. They addressed my concerns and what their approach was, then proceeded to take great care of my vehicle. Not only that, they gave me a ride to and from work and I picked up a freshly-washed car on my lunch break a few hours later. Basically Integrity had NO idea what the issue was, or how to find out. They CAN NOT diagnose an issue if their "code reader" does not throw a code. Be prepared to spend $150 to see what is wrong. My car went in and came back out the same...I paid for a sensor and a fuel pump, and my car still was jerking/stalling out. Two days later Mike "claimed" it was now a "different issue" and I would be charged again for a "diagnostic fee". My car had been there 2 days before, same exact issues. They then proceeded to tell me it was a "transmission" issue and to take it somewhere else. It was clearly NOT a transmission issue and if Mike and Franz ACTUALLY thought that...again...beware...these two are just showing how incompetent they are when coming to diagnosing an issue. They did not, however, change out the fuel filter (but did change the pump). WHO DOES THAT??? Apparently it's their standard (policy), so if you want sub-work...you'll get it here. They said THAT IS THEIR STANDARD to not change out the FUEL FILTER when changing out the FUEL PUMP. I questioned Mike about it...he admitted that, yes, in order for the fuel pump warranty to be valid, it should have been changed. As I was told to take my car somewhere else to get diagnosed I had already seen that the fuel filter was not changed, so I did it myself. When Mike admitted that they should have done it, I asked about being reimbursed...he said IT WAS NOT WORTH IT TO HIM!!! As mentioned, I took at back two days after paying over $1,000 to have it fixed. It was still doing the same jerking/stalling out as when I took it in the first time. I was told to take it to Amaco to see if it was a transmission issue and if not, to bring it back, then they'd look at it. I asked for a complete list of things that they did to diagnose the issue so I could pass this on to the next person. I was told...get this...that this diagnose was based on a FEELING!!! There was not anything done to try to find out what the real issue was, nothing was looked at...all based on their FEELINGS!!! Lastly...as I mentioned, they replaced the fuel pump (not the filter). When the car was initially taken in, Franz called me back to ask about the fuel in the tank. He said it looked like Mtn. Dew. I said it could have been old gas and HE SAID THAT COULD BE CAUSING THE ISSUE. I asked him several times about draining out the tank. Seems common sense. They did not drain the tank...and again...this is STANDARD for them. They knew they had bad gas and continued to use it. Mike said, later on, "if I had wanted" the tank drained, I would have had to have brought a gas can and new gas. Again...who replaces a $500 part, only to have that bad gas still run through there and not ever consider checking the fuel filter, AFTER telling me that could have caused the issue in the first place? As it turns out, my fuel pump did not need changed (I'll be contacting the BBB about this), only the PVC tube needed pushed on. I can replicate this issue any time. So....likely they knew this one tube needed to be pushed on and realized that there was no money to be made that way and made up a "fuel pump" issue. I GUARANTEE you that my pump was not bad...it was simply the PVC hose that needed to be pushed back on. Mike and his team did not take the time to truly find a solution, nor offer any. I was told it was "not worth it to them" to MAKE IT RIGHT!! (Yes, Mike, perhaps the fuel filter change would cost you less than $5.00, but it cost me more...thanks for caring). So...in short, when I call around to "interview" for a new mechanic, I'll be sure to be bringing up Mike's name when explaining what was done, and seeing if these are standard practices. I'll be sure that word gets around about my $1000 rip off from Mike, and his non-caring attitude for long time customers. read more

My luck hasn't been the greatest as of late. A few weeks ago, after starting my first semester of school in a town that I was new to, my car broke down. To top it off, it was a Friday afternoon. I knew I needed to get somewhere quick. I did some research and upon my own diagnosis discovered that the master and slave cylinder to my clutch were shot. I called several places up and down River Rd (we live on a road just off of River). Several places, including Integrity Auto gave me quotes however it was Megan's wonderfully positive attitude and insistence on helping me that brought me into the shop. Low on money, they diagnosed my car for free. I was quoted a price for replacement of both my master and slave cylinder that I felt was absolutely fair. As it was a Friday, they requested that the car stay at the shop (not safe to drive either) until Monday when they could finish the repairs. I was never charged to keep the car on their lot for three nights. On Monday morning I was emailed a detailed and comprehensive report, including pictures, regarding all of the repairs my car will need (beyond the presenting concern) within the coming months along with cost estimates for which I can now budget. I left relieved and happy to have my car back in one piece. Megan and the rest of the team are amazing. Thank you so much for everything. I have already told everyone I can about you guys. Your attention to detail and focus on customer experience is bar none. **Bonus! They offer payment plans through Synchrony Bank. I highly recommend looking into this option if money is tight. They send you home with loads of coupons and information on their preventative auto care package. They wash your car before it goes home with you! read more

My husband and I experienced car problems back in November of course on a Sunday and one mechanic looked at it and said it was the transmission and we were out of oil. We waited till Monday and took it to Integrity Auto for a second opinion and they were so honest and fair. It was a tensioner issue and minor other issues. Two months later our SUV was acting up again so we took it back to Integrity and they didn't lie and make up an issue (like we've experienced at other mechanic shops) they told us the timing belt slipped a little and because they had worked on it previously they fixed it completely free! On top of that one of our SUV roof racks was accidentally dented and they offered to fix it for us or write us a check for the same cash value. On top of that we got an Applebee's gift card. I have been using integrity auto for the last month to do work on my Audi A3. So far in total I've spent well over $3000 been given the runaround and told that there was a significant other problems with my car that didn't even need to be taken care of. After taking it to two other mechanics it was confirmed that all of the excess work that was done on my car was not necessary as well as the original problem that I brought my car into integrity auto for has still yet to be fixed. After over $3000 of work being put into my car that didn't even need to be done I still don't have my car fixed. On top of all of that there were several times where the man that was working on my car told me he needed to drive my car for 50+ miles to be able to further diagnose the problem I'm sorry but I do not care how much you want to drive someone else's Audi you don't go on a joy ride in it when you're supposed to have it in your care. I had brought them my car with over 200 miles on the gas tank (practically a full tank) I got the car back two weeks later with only 75 miles on my gas tank there's no reason why any auto shop should be driving my car that much to where I've lost that much gas. They have lost a very good paying customer and what could've been a lifelong customer because of their poor decisions and the fact that they did no actual work on my car. DON'T GO THERE IF YOU ACTUALLY WANT YOUR CAR FIXED. read more

I went in to get new spark plugs and they charged me $100 to look at my car and then told me i was actually looking at over a thousand dollars in repairs for my car. I took my car to another mechanic and he did all the work that Integrity listed i needed for a little over $300. I will never go back here. Gave these guys a try because of a special offer they had going. My wife used them a year or so before, and her experience was ok. All went well until it came time for me to pay. The head guy (forgot his name) came out and started giving me a cross-examination on the validity of the special offer I was trying to redeem. According to him I was not a legitimate first time customer because my wife had an account with them. Never mind that my wife and I have traditionally gone to different auto shops (our vehicles are completely different), or that I paid for additional work to be done that was outside of the special offer. After some uncomfortable questioning of my "integrity", he begrudgingly allowed me to qualify for the token offer (that got me through the door) and happily took my money for the additional service that I wasn't planning on spending. I guess that's what they call integrity; to me it seems more like hypocrisy. read more

I brought my car to Integrity for the first time a few months ago because it suddenly started running and sounding bad. I paid $125 for an inspection to diagnose the problem. When I came back later that day, the man behind the counter gave me the bad news - after a long-drawn-out in-depth explanation of the mechanics of how cars work he gave me a quote of between $1300 - $1700 to repair it. I couldn't afford to spend that much on repairs and was complaining to my neighbor about my bad luck.. I explained the cars symptoms to him and he suggested I try some catalytic converter cleaner. So I did, found some on Amazon for $10. Put it in the gas tank and within just a couple of days it was noticeably running so much better. 2 weeks after that I put another can in the tank. It has been running great every since then.My input is that if you are someone that doesn't know much about cars go someplace else cause I feel kind of leery about the quote I got to fix it when a $10 can of stuff fixed it right up. I'm writing this now because today when I drove by this place of business in my smooth running car I thought about how pissed off I would have been if I had donated money to them. read more

After bringing her car into the shop asking for a pre-trip inspection, tire rotation and oil change, they called her and said the transmission needed to be flushed and it would cost around $500. Because she didn't know any better she authorized the service. The transmission had just been inspected and fluids found to be perfect just the year before by the same shop. No evidence of the supposed now tar black fluid was presented and no other reason was given as to why the fluid would become so bad in less than a year of normal commuting type driving. The flush and fluids costs about $300 (80 in labor). The inspection, tire rotation and oil change cost another $200. If i was to have more faith in this place I would think they would save the fluid or take pictures of it, without it, it seems like they took advantage of someone who doesn't know much about cars. Even an inspection, tire rotation and oil change should not have been $200. read more
