They stripped the bolts for my skid plate on my last Tacoma and my new one. It appears they put the bolt into an impact and start the bolt as opposed to starting it with their fingers then finish it with an impact. I had my oil changed there several times with my last pickup, then went to change my own oil one time and found that the bolts for the skid plate were cross threaded. I considered it a fluke and brought my me pickup there for every oil change.The other day I was driving on gravel and heard a rattle under my pickup. I pulled over and searched around. I found the bolts for the skid plate were not flush with the metal yet were extremely tight. Hence they're cross threaded again. I will not be taking my vehicles there again. If you want something done right you need to do it yourself. Most of the people that work there have been friendly, a couple have been quite rude and full of themselves. read more

I've been coming here for a few years and most of the time the employees are great but today I was met by an angry heavy set guy who tried to take out his frustrations on me. I was unable to follow his instructions to get pulled in correctly because another employee was talking to me and he became very frustrated and started being a rude jerk. His customer service was terrible and when I asked him for further directions to get back on track he tried scolding me,clearly he was taking his anxiety from the day and projecting it onto me. This is my neighborhood place so I try to support them. I pulled in and got in line. Both lines were the same length. After about 10 minutes an employee walked over and asked what I needed. I said oil change. He asked me to move into the other line, which I did. The line I previously was in then advanced, and the next customer in that line asked me why I moved and invited me to go in front of him. I told him I was following the instructions of the employee and invited him to advance. His line moved again and he was now being serviced. At no point did the employee who asked me to move ever acknowledge that I should have been next. I asked another employee why I was asked to move and he said "I don't know I didn't ask you to do it." I could tell something was up and I was not going to get anywhere, so I left and went to a competitor. It's too bad because this place is right near my house. read more

My ride isn't a classic... yet... so I am in here regularly for oil changes and top-offs to keep my 'rolla running. Each oil change, they give me a coin for the coin-op vacuums. I think the vacuums run for three minutes, maybe 5! Since the rolla burns oil, I stop in every 300 miles for a top off. They give the first qt free of charge and $4/qt after that. I've got a 5qt bottle in my trunk for on-the-road fillups and they have refilled that for me as well. Great option to buying those little quarts and tossing them. I've had them flush my transmission fluids, steering fluids add engine cleaner. They replaced my wiper blades and changed out a lightbulb I couldn't get to myself. Did i say they're fast? Funny story, I popped in here to have my oil changed. They tell me they are going to crack the oil pan, because the last person overtightened it. Unless I pay an extra $80 and buy a metal piece for the oil pan. The oil change was 89.99, plus I buy this piece? I said no thanks and drove to Jiffy Lube on Coburg. They changed my oil for 79.99 and never said a word about the overtightened piece. Nice try, Lube but your little scam didn't work. read more

An individual named Paige was by far the worst, barking out questions as a teen-aged drive-through order taker always cutting off the previous answer. If you are not well educated about car maintenance, you will be taken advantage of by their seemingly nice employees. I just bought a new car (Used, new for me) from a dealership and wanted to make sure all the fluids were clean, expecting just an oil change. They must have taken one look at me and known I know very little about cars (I am a woman, college-age) The salesman Kevin convinced me that my gear box fluid was incredibly dirty and should be changed. Since I just bought the car, I was sad to think the dealer ripped me off, and went ahead with getting the fluid changed. It ended up costing me just over $100 for the 15 minute service! Shocked that it was so expensive, I went home to look up why it is important to keep gear box fluid clean... the answer: It's not. Several sources stated that it is a scam and usually a car does not need it changed during its whole life span (maybe once, at the most). Kevin knew my car only had 36,000 miles on it, and only convinced me to pay for it because he knew I was not well informed. I have never been so insulted, and will not be returning. The Jiffy Lube on Coburg is only $19.99 for the same service and has excellent employees who have not taken advantage of my lack of knowledge about cars. If I had that knowledge, I would not be needing their service. It's not 1950 and I do not appreciate being taken advantage of. read more

Whatever you do NEVER EVER do a engine flush! We went there for a simple oil change. Then were told we need a engine oil flush because we were over 3000 by just a little less then 10%. Now the engine is worthless!!! No help from Lube it USA. Basically told to go to hell. They suggested the the flush, they should stand up for there recommendations . If we asked for the service, I would look at it differently. They should tell it could be harmful to the engine. The same way a product discloses things on the box. I wanted a simple oil change and they delivered. They did try to sell me an air filter, saying that it looked like the one I had in my car was the original filter. My car was serviced by the car dealership it was purchased at (out of state) 5 months ago. I seriously doubt they would have left the filter if it needed to be changed. My oil change was extremely fast (a line developed behind me so they had incentive to go quickly!) and the workers were very friendly. I immediately took advantage of the vacuum and car wash that comes with the oil change. My car is now clean and in great shape! read more

Took our 2013 VW Jetta Wagon in for an oil change on 8/3/19 while visiting Eugene, then drove back home to Bend. Noticed a large amount of oil on the garage floor the following morning. Took the car on to a local shop in Bend. We were told the Willamette St. Lube It USA put the new oil filter gasket on upside down, and it didn't seal. We leaked oil for 130 miles. Our Lube It USA oil change cost us $90+ Having someone else diagnose and fix Lube It USA's oil change cost another $40 (new oil filter plus 2-quarts of synthetic). We can't trust them with our car again, or recommend them. read more

I got an oil change this morning on my Ford Focus for $41 (synthetic oil blend). They are super quick. And I believe they want to be helpful but they are also out to get money out of you. I've been recommended an engine flush twice and I've only heard bad things about it. Last time I was in they replaced my air filter which was probably necessary so I appreciate that. And this morning the woman suggested the next time I get my car checked out to have them look at eaten away wire coverings under my hood. Came for an oil changed and ended up with a great deal more. The service lady Katlyn was friendly and knowledgeable. I also really appreciated having a woman helping me. She was able to explain patiently and clearly in a way I could understand what needed to be done with my car. I also appreciated the coupons to save some money. She said they were real busy and short of help. I saw one car in the bay and 5 employees standing there talking and clearly on person was in the pit. This lube it USA has been stellar both times I have brought my car in for an oils change. But today they possibly saved my life or at lease saved me from a bad accident. The technician (Willie) noticed that the bolt connecting my steering wheel to the rest of my car was missing a nut and only holding on by a few threads. If I had continued to drive and hit a bump or turned too quickly that bolt would have fallen out and I would have lost control of my car. I really appreciate how much these guys pay attention to the little details when looking at my car. Not many people would have noticed one little bolt missing. read more

Buyer Beware - Battery Test Fraud!! At 11:37 a.m. on Friday, December 30, 2016, I brought my vehicle into this business for an oil change. During the procedure, I was handed a piece of paper that said "Battery Test." The document contained the words: "Replace Battery", Volts: 12,82v, Measured: 442CCA out of 630CCA." The salesperson told me, "You need to replace your battery now. It tests below the safety rating. Would you like to look at the prices." I said no, and took my vehicle to Les Schwab, where I had purchased the battery. They tested the battery and determined that it tested at 12.73 volts, a charged at 470CCA out of 500CCA. And I was told my battery was still under its five-year warranty. Take your vehicle anywhere else but Lube it USA! read more

Costs more than a typical oil change, but nice service and extras. You sit in the car while they do the work. Costs for me were $36 for the standard oil change, and then I requested high mileage which was an extra $20. Sounds terrible, right? Well, I was driving a massive boat that probably would cost $10 (literally) to drive to a cheaper place, and I knew these places would charge for the high mileage oil. Includes vacuum tokens (you do it), and a car wash, which I couldn't do because my van wouldn't really fit in the machine. I have a voucher though, maybe for some other car. They recommended transmission fluid, which in this van's case was mostly a bad idea (it was leaking/almost empty, fluid was added, a dark additive was added), and I don't resent their search for trouble. Transmission fluid can be dark without being bad. Obviously this is not a transmission shop. So, it's a nice place, but it's going to cost $10 more than the standard chains. read more

They charge you weird special installation fee without letting you know in advance. This is the first time I'm charged this kind of fee with oil changes done on my vehicle at five different locations at MA, AZ, and OR.
