This location always has great service, care put into building a perfect sandwich, well kept and maintained interior, and great tasting food! It is actually kind of funny that I only have looked at the sub sandwich side of the menu. Did you know that have multiple cheesesteaks?? They have both beef and chicken! This is my second time ordering from this location. This time I did a pick up order. Although my order wasn't ready for pickup at the requested time, they were still attentive once I got there. My cheesesteak sandwich was OK and didn't have much cheese and dressing so it was more on the dry side. I'll stick to the cold subs as I usually do. There is no shortage of sandwich options in the area, but I keep coming back here for quite a few reasons. The food is high quality, especially for a "fast food" sandwich shop. They cut the meet and cheese to order, and the veggies are fresh and appealing. The value is also quite impressive. $8.75 for a full size Italian sandwich (#2) is less than nearly anywhere and better than most. But the best part is the service. This was my first visit to this particular Jersey Mike's but it seemed to be typical of the others I've visited. The sandwich, #13, was prepared as per the description and tasted just as it should. The "no contact" pick up ran smoothly as did the online ordering. Masks were required as per local mandate and social distancing was observed by all. So, I got my food as ordered. Pick up was smooth. It tasted great, as usual. Why the four stars? Why not three? After all, it was a typical encounter. But these aren't "typical" times and I (and everyone else) have enough to deal with without glitches and foul ups. So less in this case is more. And that's a good thing. I never review things on Yelp, but I feel called to make a PSA for everyone's health. While I was dining here yesterday, a homeless man walked in and started drinking directly from the soda fountain. He put his mouth on it, and an employee saw and said, "Don't put your mouth on that sir. Here is a cup." After he left, I continued eating my meal and noticed neither of the employees bothered to even wipe it down. Don't ever get a drink here. Walked in at little before noon on a Sunday and the employees looked surprised to see a customer. I ordered a regular sized tuna sandwich Mike's way with extra tomato. The total came out to $9.50.. just for the sub - no drink or chips. Ridiculous. I might as well have gone to brunch in uptown and ordered a sandwich. I placed an online order right before I went into the juice bar a couple of doors down. I got a pre made juice and walked to the Jersey mikes and my sandwich was already packed up.
