My dad came to visit from out of town and I was telling him about this spot..I brought him up there because the service is usually good but this one girl had the NASTIEST attitude..she brings us the "wrong" sandwich and when I tell her we didn't order that and said what 2 sandwiches were ordered instead of going back to double check she says "well the order said it's for Steve o" puts the sandwich in front of us then walks away........then shortly comes back and says its a different sandwich..one that we did order..I'm not sure if she was having a bad day I asked the bartender for her name he said key something..other than that the music was good they were playing good movies on the screen I just couldn't get past that stank attitude read more

Worth a visit if you're in the area! I stopped in for lunch today & everything I had was great, the staff was nice and the restaurant had plenty of seating. The restaurant is in a cool spot, but parking is difficult, you will have to pay to park to eat here. I wouldn't go out of my way & pay to park just to eat here again, but if I was already in the area I would stop in again! Just something to keep in mind. read more

This is my first Cheba Hut experience and let me tell you, it was one of the best. First, shout out to the guy at the counter for making me feel so welcome. Two, the sandwiches are next level! Some have cream cheese on them, and you can even go next level with Jalapeño cream cheese. Also, if you weren't overwhelmed but their regular menu, then you can ask about the secret stash menu!! Yup! Secret menu alert!! And yes I ordered off of it. I got the OG Sweeper, which of course had cream cheese on it. It was superb. The shake sauce is EVERYTHING! Everything here was amazing! The vibes are chill and there's a full on bar attached. This place would crush it in NY, so I'll manifest them coming, hopefully soon. read more

We finally stopped in for a 5-0 sandwich, some chips and fruit punch Kool-Aid. It was a homerun. The signature garlic herb bread was the icing on the cake for this magnificent sandwich. It was loaded with smoked ham, genoa salami, prosciutto, pepperoni, bacon, giardiniera pepper, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, Shake & House dressing. So delicious. Pretty pricey for an 8" inch sub and drink in my opinion but I don't see myself eating here all the time where that's an issue. The subs here are unique & full of flavor. I've gone back twice for the AK-47 because the Au Jus here is so gooood. You gotta get a cookie if you're there when they are fresh, they have a little crisp to them when they're still fresh. This place also has a bar and plenty of seating inside. Finding free parking is tricky but that's for every restaurant in Deep Ellum. It is right next to a paid parking lot and has some street parking in front. read more

I switched out the Chipotle mayo for regular mayo and added mustard. The combination of everything came together to be one of the best sandwiches I've ever had.
