Stopped by after finishing up a 4 mile run over at the Trinity Audubon area. The place is KNOWN thanks to mobile delivery services. I've been at work and am known as the foodie and have had several coworkers tell me how much they enjoy this place. I've been once before but it was a while ago and I definitely enjoyed it then. Since I earned a good meal after my run I went with a bacon cheeseburger and an order of small BBQ nachos. The food was so on point. Burger was delicious! Big size quality patty. The BBQ nachos were HUGE even for a small. Portions were beyond amazing. I need to visit this place more often. FRESH is the word here. If you are close by this place is worth a visit. I didn't meet any crazy brothers or sisters here! Stopped by right at opening and ordered some food! Spoke to one "crazy" brother, super nice man. Amazing customer service! Other "crazy" brother was in back working, so didn't get to chat it up with him, but I bet he is far from crazy as well. Food was great! I had chops and my mom had chicken wings! I also had chess pie and she had a tea cake....now you know you are in "old school black mode" when you bust out some tea cakes!! My 83 year old mom's eyes lit up when I gave her a tea cake. She's too old to cook them and I don't have time to try. I didn't taste it, but I remember her baking them as a kid and them being something between a not so sweet cookie and a biscuit. It must have been good because she scarfed it down, dentures nowhere in sight, but crumbs were scattered all over her blanket! I'm going back, so next time I will get one. read more

The food was outstanding! This place is definitely a hole in the wall and I was nervous at first approaching the establishment because it doesn't look like much on the outside but once I entered I was greeted with a big smile and welcoming service. There are menus by the door that shows everything they have to offer (which is a lot of amazing stuff) and there was plenty of seating options inside. The food didn't take long to come and the wait was definitely worth it. It might not be the prettiest place but the food definitely makes up for it! If you live in the area you should definitely give it a try. I also saw a review that said they almost fell asleep at the first light and I understand why ! The portion is huge and it was definitely a challenge to finish but you also don't want to stop eating because it's so good. This place has the best fries I ever had EVER. You can get stuff like smothered chicken with rice and biscuits, liver and onions with rice, or some fish with a side. And then at Crazy Brothers you can get fried pork chop with eggs and potatoes. I haven't had pork chop in years, but the week I went to Crazy Brothers was a cheat weekend. Ah, oh did I cheat. The pork chop was "This is how my grandma fry it" tasty. I had cheddar on my scrambled eggs and they didn't require any salt. The potatoes were all sorts of good. I got there shortly after they had opened for business. I can only imagine the crowd they draw later in the day. What I had would easily turn me in to a regular customer, so I would not be surprised if they don't have regular customers piled up in there constantly. Well I had so much hope and was so excited to try this place after learning it's not to far from where we purchased land and are building a new home. Well Well Well Our experience was NOT 5 stars as the reviews show for many. We ordered a fish sandwich with friend okra and a Turkey burger with onion rings at precisely 1:50pm and went to find a seat in which we found a booth and were seated relaxing waiting. At around 2:25pm some other people came to sit next to our booth after ordering and my husband went up to inquire about our food and was told it was coming up next. *Spongebob Voice* "22 minutes later " We are approaching 1 hour of waiting and we noticed a table of two who came in 30 mins after we arrived getting their food so I decided that we would just leave quietly and we got up and started heading toward the door (2:51pm - 1 hour and 1 min after ordering) and as we were opening the door to leave one of the brothers shouted "M......" our last name and handed us our food. We took it and went back to the table as we were STARVING, only to realize that they messed up the order even though it was repeated twice back to us. My husband burger had American cheese and we requested Swiss. My fish sandwich had NO cheese and I ordered Swiss. The cashier and the male assisting up front were both apologetic and even brought out a slice of cold cheese for us to try to melt on the food * blank stare*. I literally appreciate the gesture however the experience left a sour taste in our mouths. Food is made fresh and is absolutely delicious. They are generous with the portions and the pickles. I love pickles so I appreciated that. Highly recommend the brisket burger, which is piled high with meat and smothered in their homemade BBQ sauce. Also highly recommend the fried catfish basket. I got it with salad, which had fresh iceberg, shredded purple cabbage, shredded carrot, cucumber, tomato, pickles and shredded cheese with your choice of dressing. Again, a generous portion of salad and even though it was simple, it was really good. My husband likes really crispy fries and the ones they make are more on the soft side (which is what I prefer). They're very well seasoned, though. We took them home to make crispy in our air fryer. The best part was probably the chess pie, which is absolutely divine! Great good. Great value. Warm and friendly customer service. It was a nice treat after a hike at the Trinity River Audobon Center right up the road. We'll be back! read more

My boyfriend and I try to swing by Crazy Brothers every time we go to the Trinity Audubon Center. Since we go to Trinity Audubon Center to bird watch, we usually get there to early to get breakfast. I got the Veggie Omelet with requested Jalapeno and country potato and it was divine. The other time I got wings and waffles. Staff is very friendly. The restaurant is very casual. You pick up your utensil and condiments yourself. There is a TV that you can watch while waiting for your food. Pick up your plastic forks and knives and commence to shoveling the deliciousness down your throat. Your stomach will thank you. Promise! read more

It was a wonderful meal. Everyone was super friendly. We ordered the full waffle sandwich, it is the size of the takeout box (not the small one). The only recommendation is to add some jelly, to make the flavor balanced. They give you strawberry jelly at the table, so it is so easy to add. Totally worth the price and filling. Kiddo got the French Toast sandwich with sausage, she loved it. Finally got the Texas cheese steak burger sandwich. It's on Texas toast. Not sure that bread stands up to all the meat. But it had so much flavor, so just make sure you have a fork to get all the yumminess that falls off. So happy we tried this place. We were at Fair Park, so it's a bit of a drive, but well worth it. I was looking to try a new place. I was tired of eating at my same ole spots. So, I checked Doordash and noticed this restaurant. However, before I ordered i checked Yelp for their reviews and they had good ones. In my typical fashion, when I try a new restaurant, I order several items in order to get a taste for what they have to offer. I ordered a bacon double cheeseburger, catfish fillets with onion rings, nacho salad and pork chop basket with home fries. Here is a breakdown of my thoughts on each dish: Double bacon cheeseburger- Slap yo mama good. The patties were well seasoned, juicy, bacon crisp and the lettuce and tomato were fresh. The only negative I would give and it's really not a big deal is that the bottom bun gets a bit soggy because of the juicy burger patties. This burger reminded me of Wingfield's but better. Catfish and onion rings- The catfish had a nice seasoned coating that tasted delicious. The fish was fried a little bit longer than what I like but it still tasted great. The onion rings were golden brown and fried to perfection Nacho salad- absolutely perfect packing of a salad. I wish more restaurants would take notice. My chips were in a package by themselves. The meat (and I ordered extra) were in separate Styrofoam containers, so was the liquid cheese and lettuce/tomato/shredded cheese. So, in essence you had to build the salad, which was fine because at least the chips weren't soggy since everything came in its own container. The salad was delicious and very filling. The only slight is I would've liked more seasoning on the ground beef. Pork chops and home fries- The chops were a bit of a let down as mine needed more seasoning. They were fried to a golden brown and looked delicious but just needed more seasoning. The home fries were good and well seasoned. I would definitely try this restaurant again, if for the double bacon hamburger if nothing else. read more

Yooooooo....I have stalked them for like 2yrs on IG & FINALLY made it out there. It's a little drive from GP but well worth it. We chatted it up & enjoyed the vibe while waiting on our name to be called for our order. About 20-30 mins & they called my name...‍‍‍‍ up to scoop the order....grabbed condiments & utensils. Sat down...took pics...said our blessing & it was on & popping!! Listen....that 1st bite into that sammich literally left me speechless....tryna calm down the phat kid inside of me ....the French toast wasn't overly sweet...bacon had a nice crisp to it & dem eggs ....LAWD HELP ME....LOL....they were fluffy & seasoned to make u slap somebody lol....I tasted a bite of my lady's chicken....which had a great crunch & slap ya mama good flavor to it.
