I came here yesterday and was first in line. Glad I went when I did because the line stacked up pretty quick. Very friendly service. The food is super filling I ate half for lunch and ate the other half for dinner. It's made hot and fresh to eat and the patties are THICK, a lil dry but it's well done. I know I'm late to try out this Wingfield's Burgers.. I came across them on social media, so i decided to give them a try. This place is what you might call a hole in the wall type of place. I ordered myself a Bacon cheeseburger with French fries. Right of the bay after opening the burner I was shocked at the size of that patty. The meat has some great flavor but just a bit over cooked for my taste. The fries are not bad also, the seasoning they put on them just gives it a great taste. The place itself is pretty small. I have heard so many great things about this place and finally had the chance to check it out for myself. When placing my order for me and my partner, we were met with a very rude team member who seemed to be upset she was working that day. It was our first time at the establishment and therefore we asked simple questions ie. how big is the burger typically? what brand of lemonade is the lemonade etc. The worker had very short and had agitated responses when she did speak. Some questions were completely ignored. To top it off when it was time for our lemonades, there was no more ice in the machine, She didn't seem to care nor gave us a response on what kind of lemonade it was. We had to go down the street to 711 to get ice for .75 a cup. I'm not upset, but the experience we had was definetley not stellar. On the flip side the worker who made our food was the opposite, a light skinned woman with freckles made our food with the amount of season I would put on my own burgers at home. The flavor of the burger itself was really good. However, the burger texture was as if the patties were boiled and not cooked on the flat top. The fries were really fresh and seasoned well. They were kind of soggy and tasted like old grease. Even ketchup couldn't save them. I was surprised to hear they only had lemonade or kool aid but we went with lemonade. SOO GOOD!! It's the perfect amount of sour and sweet. Better than Chik-fil-a! BUT... it was HOT. It finally started to cool down about the halfway mark. Then it was Perfect!! On to the burgers.... Tried this place with a friend and found pro's and con's, but worth 3 Stars. Pro's are you won't walk away hungry. I couldn't even finish my single burger. I also liked that they toasted the buns well. Con's are limited parking, no seating, a wait on food, onion rings obviously frozen I only ate 2 and not a lot of seasoning on the meat. For starters, I placed my order at 5:30, I didn't receive my food til 7-7:10. I placed my order through Yelp and arrived to pick my food up about 35-40 minutes later. Once inside I was told online ordering was not available so they had to take my order inside....okay? The lady at the counter said "oh that must be the grub hub order that's calling, yeah the tablet isn't working, sorry." I, nor the person I was with eat onion rings. As we are discovering this, a worker pulls in the lot with bags of fries from Kroger. Great I guess. We start eating on the burgers and the taste was mediocre and that's being nice. The cheese maybe? Very odd taste. 4/10. I love a good burger but Jake's, Keller's.. hell, Wendy's would have been better. The staff wasn't rude or mean during this experience so that's why I gave 2 stars and not one.
