Taste Buds nailed it with their jerk chicken pizza. Spicy, flavorful, tender chicken on a perfectly crisp crust -- every bite hits. It's bold, different, and seriously delicious. Highly recommend.

July 10 25 We spent $53.06 (including a $7.99 tip) for two meals and two drinks..... Not good. We ended up giving all that food to someone in need and going to another place to eat. Philly cheesesteak looked like roast beef with cheese sauce on top. It did not look like what I saw advertised on their social media. I looked first to make my decision on what to eat. I needed to cut it in half because it was messy. But I didn't have utensils. I had to share with my friend. My initial reaction to eating the food is all recorded because I Vlog..... and this was the worry Philly I've ever had. Fries were not good. There was no ketchup in the bag either, which would've made them a little better. Lemonades were like $3.50+ each and bland. Like lightly sweetened lemonade and a Kool-aide packet. Not as sweet as I would've liked them to be. Blueberry 2/5 and strawberry 0.5/5 Loaded jerk chicken rice bowl- tasted just like rice and chicken with bbq sauce on it. Two bites, and we decided to just find something else to eat. Instead of throwing it in the trash, we did give both these meals away to someone who was grateful to receive. Glad to have fed them!!! This is my Second and unfortunately my last time l'll be here. Saddened because I wanted to try the Tace Rolls. But I just cannot risk the money. $20 down the drain for me and an additional $10+ for food elsewhere.

Okayyyy Tace budsss! I ordered my food online, because I heard that it's usually packed. When I arrived two women were infront of me but the place was pretty much empty. So my food was good honestly.. I hated that they put my ranch on top of the fries because when ranch is warm phew we already know what happens.. So I thought my tacos were going to be small because that's just what I'm use to, but it wasn't! Y'all they were bigger than my hands and my hands are small! When I added onions to my taco I thought it would be the grilled string onions not the diced ones.. I do feel like the chicken could have had taste to it, and wasn't dry but it wasn't bad! The fries were crunchy as well and good! When I ordered the pizza I ordered the personal pizza which was good as well, just a tad bit salty.. I'd definitely be going back to try more!

The service here was amazing. My husband ordered the rice bowl that had rice lettuce cheese steak shrimp and chicken with a sweet BBQ sauce. He loved it. I ordered the jerk chicken Alfredo. The chicken was bomb but I didn't care for the Alfredo sauce. It tasted kinda like a jar sauce. The portions were huge. They lasted us 2 meals and we spent $40 after tax.

I saw this on TikTok and gave it a try. I ordered delivery. Due to the distance, I wasn't surprised that it wasn't piping hot upon arrival, so no issue with that. The arrival time did extend, however, I was just glad delivery was available for my area. I got the jerk chicken taco and the oxtail pizza. Both tasted good. I do regret selecting grilled onions on the taco. FYI, use choose a taco, then you have all of these options as to what you want on it. I thought they would be more like a few soft, caramelized type grilled onions. My fault. I did pick those off. For you onion lovers, you get a lot. I also added more cheese of my own. The taco was huge. It came with a side of jerk sauce. There was more than enough jerk chicken for 2 regular size tacos. The oxtail pizza. Never would I have imagined I could have both oxtails and pizza as one dish. Definitely not your typical pizza. Lots of meat and lots of cheese. That alone sold me. If you're not a cheese lover like myself, you may have to request less. Don't expect a lot of pizza sauce like traditional pizzas either. Think meat pie plus cheese to get an idea. The crust was great. There are other menu items I plan to try, as well.

Absolutely loved the food. Guy behind the counter was really cool! Favorite dish - Jerk Chicken Pasta and the Jerk Pizza Tacerolls. The restaurant is a little bland with so I do takeout or DD! Definitely work the time to go to!

In my opinion, this place is overpriced and the wait was horribly long. Someone came from the kitchen and apologized for the wait and give us free kool aid while we waited. That was nice. Decently decorated. My food was delicious but felt so greasy tbh. I had the oxtail Philly $25. It was good but had a strong aftertaste of meat, if that makes sense. Hubby had fried catfish and fries. Decent but not worth over an hour of waiting. There was a sign that said wait will be at least 25-30 since it's freshly made. I understand that, just wasn't thinking it would actually take over an hour.

I got the jerk tacos and they were so so good. I really enjoyed them as well as my catfish nuggets. They were fresh they were tasty. I have no complaints with them. The customer service here was very good. They were very patient. They made sure that I knew what I wanted, and they waited for me to decide as well. You can eat here it's a very small inside but the vibe is pretty good and they have nice music playing so you can either dine in or take out. I would do either when I went I sat in and enjoyed my food with my date.

The prices charged did not match the digital board. There is a Service Charge, no one knows what this is.

The food came out hot. The flavor was good on the shrimp and wings. The fries have a dusting of Parmesan cheese and other flavors. It's a small restaurant with a few tables, looks like an old Waffle House. The prices charged do not reflect the digital board. The digital board had options shown that were no longer sold so we could not get what we wanted to try initially. The receipt shows a service charge and the employees could not tell me what this for.

Tace buds is a treasure. I love the various items on the medium that range from simple entrees like wings and fries to complex like jerk chicken and shrimp pizza. And everything tastes amazing. I enjoyed the chicken 6 whole chicken wings and fries with mild sauce on the side. The chicken wings were huge and fried to perfection. I like the seasoning on the chicken and it complements the mild sauce well. Thick crunchy fried and everything comes out piping hot. I place a pick up order, it took less than 15 mins and the service was quick and easy. There are few tables to sit inside too. Next time I want to tried the fried polish and the pizza.

Often times after it's all said & done, you wonder - was that worth it? Thankfully, that is NOT the experience I had at Haywire! I ate here on August 9th, 2025 and enjoyed everything about it. I was with a large party but would love to return for a more intimate experience. On this Saturday, my younger cousin was graduating from Parker University so I was in town for the weekend. At around 1pm, I was one of the first to arrive at the restaurant. Unfortunately the parking is a bit confusing. There was construction being done on the same street when I went but there's a parking garage for customers that's difficult to navigate AND the elevator that connects wasn't operating at the time which was an issue for many (but not me, I got a good spot & walked). My party hadn't all arrived yet so I took a gander. Upon entering the tall doors, the space breathes southwestern elegance: wooden structure, leather seating, separate dining areas with highlighted ranch-style art. The abundance of space gives it an open-concept feel. The lighting fixtures are modern, the space was dim but not too low, with an option to utilize the large windows also. I was quiet impressed at the overall presentation. When my party did arrive, I wanted to keep it simple so I ordered the Chicken Cobb Salad and a Hibiscus Haze with Vodka. The table shmoozed as we ate some of the appetizers: the Crab Dip & Green Tomatoes, both amazing. The food did take some time but, considering it was 10-12 of us, that's expected. The Hibiscus Haze was splendid: smooth & flavorful, a great concoction. Cobb salads are usually pretty thick but this one was HEARTY. It came in a large bowl stuffed with the all the toppings. The dressing it was tossed with was well balanced but could've used a tad bit more. With some pepper & a little ranch, I was set! I defeated the salad but it also left me stuffed to the gills. Satisfying meal that I would order again! There are tons of restaurants to dine at in Dallas & sometimes you never know which is worth your time. Despite the inconvenience of parking, I'd bet my bottom dollar that this is a good place to eat. Whether you want a fine dining experience, it's a special occasion or just want a good drink with a meal, Haywire has enough to satisfy all interests.

Knowledgeable about the menu & great recommendations. Kev was a joy to have as our server. The food is amazing & love the ambiance of the restaurant. My only complaint...we came in early Saturday prior to Stars game. The restaurant wasn't busy at all. We were asked if we had a reservation. We did not, the restaurant wasn't busy at all. We were asked to wait. Waited maybe 5-10mins. No biggie, A lot of open tables were available for immediate sit down. Again that wasn't a big deal. I had asked for a booth & wanted to sit in front room. The hostess said no a problem. She handed us off to a younger hostess and she took us to a table. I told her I had requested a booth. In the front room only 3 tables were occupied. I pointed out the booth and she said that's for party of 6. However, we could have the 1/2 table/booth. Made absolutely no sense because that was for a party of 6 as well. I made this comment & she just stared at me without saying a word. I didn't want to seem difficult and took the table as she just walked away. Kev was confused as we were. No good communication skills. It was an awkward encounter. The restaurant wasn't busy at all & never was whole time there. Kev wasn't sure why she didn't move us a requested & was puzzled himself. However i apologized to him & explained I wasn't trying to be difficult, but prefer booth sitting and most times we will wait for one. We left at 1:45p and restaurant was no busier than when we arrived. Reservation/Booth or not! I guess saying all of this, your front staff need to have more people skills when dealing with your customers. They are the face and first point of contact. Again Kev was amazing & food was outstanding!

However, my experience this past Saturday wasn't quite up to the usual standard. Although my server, Kate, did her best and was attentive in taking my order, the overall service seemed a bit off. The kitchen appeared to be short-staffed, yet there were plenty of servers standing around instead of helping out as a team. I believe teamwork is crucial in creating a smooth dining experience. After waiting nearly 30 minutes for my appetizer, I had to send back the gator bites because they were served cold. With a bill of over $230 before tip, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect prompt, hot food. I tried to be understanding--having worked in the service industry myself--but there's definitely room for improvement on the coordination between staff and the bar. To their credit, once the food did arrive, everything was hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious--exactly what keeps me coming back. One small disappointment was that, unlike with the table next to us, a manager never stopped by to apologize for the earlier issues at our table. Even with the hiccups, the food itself still deserves five stars. It's hard to give a place like Pappadeaux's anything less when the flavors are that good.

Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen…read more Friday afternoon lunch was not the best experience. I guess the professional server is a dinosaur theses days. Apparently, Pappadeaux's has had to pull from a a bad pool of applicants. While my server was friendly, she was either overwhelmed or just plain forgetful. I ate a few gator bites that arrived with bread service (which was completely out of order) before I asked for a container to transfer them to so they would not be soggy from the pool of sauce they were in. When she finally resurfaced, it was too late. I had already transferred them to the bread plate to save them. She did apologize. The shrimp & crab cobb salad is a standard for me and the last two times I have been disappointed. They changed it to a wedge of iceberg lettuce. The wedge used to be what appeared was a 1/4 head of lettuce. Now it looks like they have increased the yield and now get 8 wedges from a single head of lettuce. For a $30 salad of nutritionally dense iceberg, this is ridiculous! The wedge looked more like a slice of lettuce. The shrimp were cut in half, and there was an excessive amount of grape tomatoes. The toppings far outweighed the lettuce. If you're not going to cut the lettuce up, then do not cut my shrimp either! Very disappointed! After asking the server for the bill and to-go containers, she disappeared again. I thought it was shift change. I had to ask a manager who was taking a complaint from the table next to me. They too, were upset about the level of service from the same server. I let the manager know as well, "at these price points the service is not up to standard". She apologized but never asked for details. What kind of hospitality manager responds this way??? Now Im super pissed! I thought the FOH mgmt was subpar at Richardson (which is specifically why I drove further to Oak Lawn), but Oak Lawn has them too. I am done w/Pappadeaux's. It costs too much to have to experience this type of service and and clueless mgmt. There are burger joints with better service.
