I have always ate at subway for my whole life, but in this last month I switched over to Jersey Mikes because the meat their is freshly cut. They make sure that the sandwich is loaded. When I went there for my first time I was so surprised how much they put on my sandwich, especially for the price. I eat a lot, so a 15 inch sandwich is great. I will be going back soon enough to get another excellent sandwich. read more

I really enjoy the sandwiches at Jersey Mike's, but every time I go to this particular store, I leave feeling very disgruntled. If there are more than 2 people in line, then you can expect to be there 10-15 minutes waiting on your sandwich to be finished. There seems to be little organization of the delegation of duties. The owner, Elizabeth, is incredibly rude to her employees and talks down to them in front of customers. I have heard her be condescending not only to myself but to other customers as well. If it weren't for the fact that Covington doesn't have a tastier option for subs, I would never come to this place simply for the fact that I can't stand to watch the owner talk down to her employees like they were 5 year old children. read more

My son and I tried two subs here. I tried the chipotle cheese steak and not only did it taste horrible, it made me sick. My son tried the meatball sub and he didnt say much about it but would not finish it either. (says a lot when a 13yo boy refuses to eat). I agree with most of the reviews and can confirm most of what is said. For the price, I'd rather get a good meal from a full service restaurant because its not much more. read more

Rude employees. they drowned the subs in oil and vinegar. the meat is sliced too thin so it looks like you are getting a lot. bread is usually stale. there are coupons out there but they refuse to honor them at face value. the "manager" Is rude and explains everything as "sir that is how they trained us" there is no reason to have a sandwich that was ruined by the vinegar and oil slopped on it to make the whole thing dripping. Wouldn't waste your time. They need a serious lesson in customer service. read more

My family and I went there tonight for a quick dinner. The service was great! The owner, Elizabeth, made you feel welcome. It didn't feel like a chain - rather a small business. The sandwiches were great! We had a roast beef (which they roast in house), a pastrami, and a cold sub (Mike's style - the only way to go), and a kid's meal. Kid's eat free on Sunday's with the purchase of a regular meal. The sandwiches tasted fresh and were loaded with meat. Not sure what happened with the other reviewers but when we went, it was terrific. We will definitely be back! Plus - there aren't that many good places to eat in Covington. read more

While the subs are delicious the wait is not worth it. If I drive by and see a couple of people in line I know it will take at least 1/2 an hour so I go someplace else. The cookies are always OVERCOOKED! I also don't like when the manager's husband is in his street clothes in the back cooking one minute and the next is standing out on the sidewalk smoking.
