Have been going to this spot for take out for almost a year now. They have been really consistent in their subs, the ingredients are always fresh and they make it easy to order in the app and then pick up is easy. Prices are reasonable for what you get, especially when you get offers in the app. Service is friendly, the store is small but is fine for pick up, but the experience overall makes me continue to come back when craving a sandwich!

First off, this place is extremely slow! Don't come here unless you have time to spare. It took roughly 45 minutes from when I placed my online order to when I finally got it -- only for the garlic bread I ordered to be completely missing. It's also a bit awkward because they have an open kitchen, so you can actually see the employees moving slowly. So why three stars after all that? Because the sub was actually really good -- and that's what I came here for. The garlic bread was just a fun add-on. To be fair, I probably came at a bad time. It was 6p on a Friday, the line to the door, and DoorDash drivers were yelling at the workers, asking how much longer their orders would take. They clearly had enough on their plate without worrying about my $3.50 garlic bread. I'll give them another chance based on the taste and the fact that the guy taking orders (and my name for the to-go order) was extremely friendly. Hopefully, they won't miss part of my order next time. :(

Another day, another amazing meal from Firehouse Subs. My husband and I showed up about 15 minutes after they opened and we were greeted by staff, with a smile and food that was freshly prepped and ready to serve. I love the cleanliness of the restaurant! Will definitely be back!

First time ever having a Firehouse Sub, but I've always wanted to stop by for the last couple of years. Finally made the stop with the wife. Helps that there's one not too far from where I live. We ordered the Smokehouse Beef & Cheddar Brisket sub, with some chips. My wife and I split it, as we typically do. That sauce was a hit and the meat was so tender! A great combo for sure. I definitely want to come back and try some other items off the menu. Thanks for the tasty experience and hope to be back soon. As always, Enjoy & Stay Frosty!

Ordered medium subs for 4 people and the order added up to about $65. Although the subs are decently stacked, the taste was not there. Everyone else though, thought it tasted superb. I ordered a medium Turkey Bacon Ranch sub on wheat bread. It costed around $16. Did not include any bacon and tasted only the peppercorn ranch. Overly generous on the lettuce and onion though. Overall, I might come back and try a different sub since everyone else liked theirs. Maybe the Turkey Bacon Ranch just wasnt the right pick.

Love Firehouse subs! It's a newer building, clean with ample seating. Service is efficient and the food is good. This is at least our 4th visit and I REALLY appreciate their gluten free bread option because unlike other gluten free breads theirs is excellent. They use Schaar buns and they work wonderfully as a sub bread. My only wish usually is that the bread would be heated or toasted more but I still always leave satisfied. I have zero reactions to this bread. My husband had the Spicy Cajun Chicken with extra meat for the third time and really enjoyed it. He feels Firehouse beats Jersey Mikes. This place is working hard to make good quality subs. We will be back again. Definite worth the stop!

Really enjoyed the food, service, and personable ambiance. I got the New York Steamer in medium which for me personally was enough for one person; they do offer a pickle smear if you would like it. For me it was not too acidic and was a nice bite between amongst the sandwich. Now, keep in mind these things are a little messy-being some napkins as they toast all of their sandwiches and they're hot. All in all a great place, first time coming to firehouse, and looking forward to when the mobile app is up and running.

The deli itself is excellent, and everything is made fresh to order. I grabbed a sausage breakfast sandwich on a bagel (you get to choose your bread), and it was a really good size for just $6. Perfect way to start the day! I also tried the turkey BLT for $9.99 on seed bread. It came out thick, crunchy, and hearty -- exactly what I was hoping for. You can get it toasted or not, and it was loaded with all the veggies, including pickles. The several pieces of bacon were cooked perfectly! Every bite was fresh and satisfying. This spot seems super popular with the teen kids from Kentwood High School right across the street, which makes total sense -- it's a convenient and tasty option. Whether you're looking for a quick fresh breakfast or lunch, Foss Grocery and Deli delivers. Next time I'm definitely trying their pizza. Highly recommend this local gem!

Let me tell you about my server, the absolute legend who conquered his two-pack-a-day habit through the revolutionary "Brisket Smoke Immersion Protocol." This hero of modern medicine discovered that 60 minutes of face-time with oak-smoked brisket vapors carries the same satisfaction as 47 cigarettes, but with the added benefit of making your hair smell like victory. "The trick," he'll tell you while delivering a plate of burnt ends, "is to position yourself exactly 7.3 inches from the top rack, where the smoke density hits that sweet spot between 'spiritual awakening' and 'temporary meat blindness.'" He tracked his progress in a leather-bound journal that's now permanently infused with smoky goodness. Day 1 entry: "Visibility limited, meat particles adhering to eyebrows." Day 15: "Have begun to communicate telepathically with the brisket. It speaks of great wisdom." Day 30: "I am become smoke, destroyer of cravings." The restaurant had to install a special timer just for these sessions. They call it the "Meat Meditation Chamber," and there's now a waiting list of people trying to kick various habits through strategic smoke exposure. One guy supposedly gave up energy drinks by huffing pulled pork vapors for three weeks straight. The best part? While sharing his journey to smoke-based enlightenment, he'll serve you the most transcendent BBQ this side of the astral plane. I would almost call it serendipity, but I was certainly searching for something, I just didn't know exactly what. I had a day off and had spent the earlier part of it wandering, looking for any remaining independent produce stands, butcher shops, or just something that felt like it would nourish and heal me because I had been feeling....well? physically, emotionally, existentially, and psychologically, like absolute crap. Historically I've spent years independently studying nutrition and biochemistry, herbalism and traditional medicine, but over the years I'd strayed from those things and lost my way. All this to say I may have forgotten some things but I recognize when someone else knows their stuff. I wandered into Sunshine Corners, originally for a good sandwich and maybe some produce. What immediately struck me was how comforting this place was, and how much it felt like the old school apothecaries or coop's before they became adulterated by mainstream capitalist influences. Stay with me here. I overheard Tony talking to one of the people at the front desk and immediately realized "ok, that guy knows his stuff". Meekly, when he had a moment, I walked over to him and basically, in a sort of desperate manner, laid out my litany of aches and pains and mysterious ailments, expecting an abrupt hand waving answer. That is not what I got. Tony spent what might have been somewhere between 45 minutes and an hour with me, patiently asking me questions and pulling out reference literature. He recognized things in me that no one else had been able to see, and pointed me in a direction that has allowed me to focus on actually getting better rather than just collapsing in frustration. Tony, if you're reading this, the time you spent helping me meant so much to me. Your years of wisdom made a huge impact, but more importantly, your humanity.
