I found this location, easy to access as it is right on the way to Costco in Covington. I dined here twice over the last 30 days and wanted to share my experiences. The lot adjacent to the restaurant is a little bit limited for parking, but the Fred Meyer parking lot will handle any overflow. I noticed an unusually large number of cars waiting at the drive up both times I visited. When I got inside, I learned why that was the case. Drive up takes precedence here. No questions asked. On my most recent visit. It was 11 minutes before anybody approached the counter to take my order. There were three of us waiting patiently in line and every hand on deck Was working to get the drive-through cleared. Once my order was taken, it was another nine minutes to fill it. The young man who waited on me, was very polite and friendly and apologized for the lengthy wait. The food was good overall and there were very few patrons in the lobby. Just to note, I came at the end of the lunch rush my first visit and at 4:30 PM on my second. read more

I do not know what changed, but my visit gave me THE BEST and MOST PERFECT Double I have ever had at a Wendy's!! The bun was not squished, soft and fresh. The patties were cooked perfectly, hot and juicy. The condiments were placed neatly on the sandwich. Staff were attentive. Place was clean including the spot where you get the napkins and ketchup from. GOOD JOB!!!! You have now set the high bar for burgers. read more

I ordered on the app, and they had a deal for $1 chicken blt. When i ordered it it ended up not giving me the deal. So i told the girl at the drive thru and they said they couldn't do anything. Most places would refund me, or do something to make up for it. At $15 an hour minimum wage, they are still getting dumb asses working there. Always been going to the drive thru for their biggie bag meals. Friendly, fast and delicious.

The people there just don't care. $12 of normal fries they trumpet as being so great? Limp and lousy. "Baconator" cheesy fries (3 orders) and they had almost no bacon. This location specifically sits at a weird location. Driving west on 516, you can't turn left into the restaurant, you got to take a left a street prior to it. Coming out, you are forced to take a right onto 516. YUP! All to high traffic flow and a location that is so close to freeway entrance and exit. As per my latest drive Thru experience.... I received what I ordered. I don't like Blue Cheeses.... but I switched with Schmoopie. He says "It was really good." The pecans are candied... maybe with a brown sugar syrup... it was crystalized on the outside. There were a few issues here... the parking lot right next to the door is basically full all the time. Maybe, it's because the food is extremely taaaaasty! Some of the employees inside were working at different stations... and one went to the restroom after I was in there. Maybe to check the paper towels... they were empty. Good thing I was wearing my dark Denim blue jeans... and I don't always need a paper towel... it's sad that people who enjoy thieving steal all the paper towels wherever they are. I also noticed that the bathroom was spotless. I don't mind keeping the door locked when I'm in the women's bathroom stalls. And, no... there weren't any creepy men inside this time... Maybe there's less of them (the creepy men) then there were before... I don't know. Do you remember the first Wendy's classic shake that you tasted? I saw on the Menu a new drink.... but I didn't order it. I ordered an Iced Tea. It was cold... but,... I wanted unsweetened. I'm not sure why the Iced Tea was sweetened. I only had about three or four sips of it.... but, Schmoopie (he's been married to me for over 16+ years so... maybe I'm doing something right).... seemed to like it. Shout out to Wendy's for handling my special custom food order. Great customer service this last time I visited at 10pm. I had a special request for a double stack on a lettuce bun. They even put my mayo on the side in a cup. They did all this for me with a long line of customers in drive thru and they did it with lightening speed. It was delicious!! Covington Wendy's has a line in the drive through not unlike chick fil a... which is annoying. However if you use the app and order ahead and get into the drive through line you can get your food in about 10 minutes or so. They have good accuracy on orders and the food is most always hot and fresh! In the past 10 visits maybe one time we didn't have piping hot nuggets or fresh fries. The workers are friendly enough and are quick to fix errors on orders. 2 thumbs up! read more

Service was awful, the Kid at the window told us the wrong total, when trying to order a vanilla frosty I'm told out of vanilla. that's fine I get that you run out of things sometimes. then we get our food and our drink. We are just waiting on the frosty at this point. after a minute or two we go to ask where our frosty is and then the kid turns away putting his back in the window leaning on it. I took this as a "go away now please". When he moves we ask and apparently they only had a half of a medium of chocolate frosty. they try to give me a half chocolate half strawberry frosty without asking if I was ok with it. we finally get the frosty after 6-7 minutes of sitting at the window. and it's very melty. Tip: Don't go through the drive thru. I sat in the line of about 10 cars for about 30 seconds before realizing finding a spot and running inside would be quicker - and I was right. I was in and out, food in hand, before the drive thru moved through 3 cars. Food was hot and fresh, and the employees were busy and friendly. Cool day outside and about 40 degrees inside. Turn off the AC. Ordered a 1/4 juicy burger which was far from. It was dry like no other ive had before. How can they possibly call it juicy. The bright spot was the french fries which were hot and salted nicely. Wont be back. read more

I have been this wendys at least 3 times. First two times there were flies buzzing around the restaurant. Disgusting. There were many flies. The drive thru is bad idea and a mess with no space. Seriously hate this place. Parking lot is poorly designed. If you park in the wrong spot, you could be blocked in for up to 20 minutes by drive thru traffic. Or you could also be blocked by drive thru traffic if you are just trying to go to Fred Meyer. Counter staff has less personality than a rock. These guys are only going to get better! I brought my family in for lunch and we left very, very happy! Employee knowledge at the register was a little lacking. We asked what sauce was on the grilled chicken wrap and she didn't know. BUT.... After picking up our order and sitting at our spotless table, we began to eat and enjoy the meal and our rare family times together. Soon after, the team member that gave us our food brought us two chocolate frosties for the kids for free! She said our kids looked a little old (8&11) for the current toy that came with the kids meal and she figured they would enjoy a frosty much more. What a class act! I'm SO happy that we now have a Wendy's in Covington! The interior is very nice. They were fully staffed and service will only improve as the staff gets more experience and the "opening rush" dies down a bit. All of the food that we've had was well prepared and, even with as busy as they have been, we've never had an error in our order. The reason for the 4 rating is the parking situation as it relates to the drive-through. The location didn't lend itself to a good traffic flow so the drive-in line (when there are 10+ cars) can cause gridlock. read more

Wendy's saves my butt every time I'm out and about and realize I haven't eaten yet and it's 2pm. Nothing a chicken pecan salad and baked potato can't cure! There used to be a massive flow problem from ordering to the soda machine, but that's been mostly resolved with the addition of a 2nd soda machine. The cashiers are always really friendly. I haven't ever had a gross or cold meal at this location. Once they forgot I said no bleu cheese on my salad, but I had a correct order in-hand within 60 seconds. I also appreciate the fact their kids meals have toys that promote outside play or creativity. My daughter has gotten sidewalk chalk, a kick the can/flag tag kit, design your own christmas card, etc. not just a useless plastic toy that shouts 'banana!' Unless you're going to use the drive thru don't bother going into the attached lot. Park at Fred Meyer and walk to Wendy's. It'll save you a 30 minute wait when it's time to leave. They have the most poorly designed parking lot I've ever seen. read more

It is well designed and nice to have one in covington. It's really a hit or miss when it comes to the freshness of the food. I usually go late at night(1145-12)on my way home from work at hospital; and there is one manager who was super friendly and usually makes sure the food is actually fresh. Drive thru is big, but very poorly designed if you are parked there. Haven't been to the bathroom or had front customer service. So 3 stars until I do. Still need improvement on freshness for food. read more

Every single time we order from here, we order no mayonnaise. We make sure it is rang up that way. Every time we get mayonnaise. Considering I find mayonnaise disgusting it is beyond frustrating. Went inside and nobody was at the register. A woman who was not a cashier came over and took my order and then called for the cashier to finish the order. The woman who was called over wasn't very customer friendly. I got my order in good time. Welcome to Covington Wendy's. You really dropped the ball when you designed your drive through. There are always 10 or so cars, to the point where they are blocking traffic in Fred Meyer's parking lot. Crew is not up to speed as of yet. A faster crew might make this smoother. As of now though, expect a 10 - 15 minute wait in the drive through. The food is what you would expect from Wendy's. Also, bad choice of pickles.
