There is street parking only and I walked a couple blocks to get there but I really enjoyed that this location was right along the Monon Trail. There's plenty of indoor seating and a few tables outside too. I got the Honey Baby drink and Bacon & Cheese Eggs Bites. Both hit the spot. It was too cold inside so I grabbed a seat outside instead and people watched activity on the trail.

The servers were first of all, super kind, smiled, knew their coffees and teas;-) We went for the Nitro and it's fabulous! Finally, a place that does Nitro well! Smooth flavor, the right amount of foam on top and so many choices! Thanks Java House and great employees! Each time we stop, we are welcomed and get a beverage just as we hoped it would be

Java House broadripple is a comfortable coffee spot for meeting a friend, working remotely, or just grabbing a quick coffee to go. They have lots of coffee options, smoothies and juices. Most beverage are anywhere from $3-6. They have quick bites like wraps, egg bites, bagel and muffin sandwiches. I love that it's located right off the Monon so you can stop in and get a cold brew and continue your walk. Always excited to try something new here. They have seasonal drinks too which keep the menu fresh and we appreciate that! Today I tried the maho with coconut milk, dark chocolate, topped with coconut and their whip cream. Delicious. I will probably get next time without the fresh coconut on top. But flavor is great! Egg bites taste a little bland, but they feel healthy!!! Lol perhaps the bacon ones are better. We'll try that one next time. Service was fast and prompt. Barista was kind and offered a carrier for the other drinks I purchased. Will definitely be back to try some things from the spring menu.

My Indy bestie and I had a very last minute opportunity to catch up and she lives on the opposite side of town where I'm from. I asked her to pick something relatively in-between us (B-Rip FTW) and good for her kiddos. Logistically it is more difficult for me to travel from the southside to Broad Ripple anymore BUT gives me a chance to see what's happening in/around my old digs. Parking is still the same... not that great. But gives a good excuse to walk along the Monon Trail! This one is close to her office and sometimes she will telework from here-- there's plenty of space for that or if you just want to chill. Java House is a local chain that focuses on cold brew, so their coffees will tend to be more sweeter than standard fare. The barista working that day was super nice - he walked me thru the menu, offered to give me samples of their 4 blends, and was patient with the kiddos when one of them wanted to order a Cake Pop by himself. They are fairly dairy-free friendly but do not have dairy-free creamers or whip. The Workaholic is one of their staple drinks, created when the brand was starting out. It comes with almond milk (yay!) and I was able to get no whip. The barista was concerned if I had an allergy after I also asked to not put cheese on my breakfast bagel sandwich (love me anything Everything Seasoning!). The concern was appreciated even though I don't have to avoid dairy... it's just not my best friend :p

Wife says this is the best Latte near us (and she doesn't give that out easily.) It's a great place to have a morning cup of Joe. I've only had coffee here and it's always been good. I do like that Java house maintains its consistency and quality across different coffee shops and that pretty much shows in the quality of their coffee, the overall ambience. I ordered pumpkin cold foam Brew and it was smooth, creamy, with a hint of pumpkin and maple. My to go order took less than 3 minutes despite the coffee house being busy at 4pm and I was well out of my way in about 5 minutes. The space was impeccably spotless and usually clean, my coffee was just the right cold and absolutely delicious flavors. Pumpkin cold foam brew is a keeper y'all!

I like my coffee bitter and black best. So Java House's cold brew sweet concoctions aren't quite to my taste. That said--they do a great job at this location. They have a wide range of specialty drinks. And if you like your coffee smooth and sweet, I bet you'll find great treats here. The staff are friendly and happy to answer questions about any of the unique offerings on their menu. And the location is a great place to meet as it's always clean and well-lit with sun from the Monon.

Came in late-Sunday morning to the Broad Ripple location to study for a bit and I have fallen in love. In terms of food, I ordered a sausage egg sandwich and a hot Workaholic (medium maple almond latte) and I was impressed with both! The sandwich was toasted and flavorful and the coffee was delightful without being overly sweet. In terms of service, the baristas are so quick! By the time I got all my things out to study at the bar, my drink was already ready. The space is cozy with Christmas decorations and a classy wood / brick interior. Gives me industrial chic vibes. As a girlie who always is looking for a good study spot, the lighting at the bar was warm and didn't cast weird shadows as I was taking notes. There were outlets all around, and the ambient noise / music was great. Definitely will be back here again.

Java House has locations all over the Indy area, and I love it! This location is really convenient as its steps from the Monon Trail. I was able to quickly grab a coffee and take it on my walk. Today I had the Neopolitan, and the strawberry cold foam is so good!! They recently revamped their menu and have a lot of interesting drink options.

I love the Broad Ripple location of Java House! It's a great place to stop by when you're walking on the Monon. They can open the windows all the way during nice days, so you can people watching and enjoy the weather. The service is always friendly and the baristas help answer any questions you may have. I like that they have the gallon sized cold brew, so I can take it home and enjoy. The seasonal drinks are always fun if you want to try something new, but my favorite are the cold brews!

A very clean and nice environment! It seemed like the baristas worked together so well when I stopped in. They were short staffed and one was in crutches but you could tell she was trying to hard! Jules really seemed to be working hard to make everyone's coffees as quickly as she could and did it with a smile on her face! Would highly recommend this coffee shop! Cannot say enough good things about this place! Best place to do homework if you can beat everyone else there, very tasty and unique drinks with a bonus seasonal menu as well, right on the Monon so super convenient location, and the best service with the nicest servers! Regardless of the rush or lack thereof the baristas are always on top of things. And whoever is on aux in there slays because the music is always epic. Air conditioning always seems to be on high in the summer which is PERFECT for the heat. Dog friendly, strong wifi and outlets, great place overall. read more

I'm not sure what the hype is. Very expensive. We've gone twice now because I really wanted to like it. Go to monon coffee or even starbucks if you're in that area. Won't be trying again. We tried the blueberry special, the plain Columbia ice coffee and the one with there chocolate and cinnamon. Didn't enjoy any of them. read more

Java House might be the best place there is to get work done. During the day is usually pretty busy but it is always super clean. It is the best during the summer when they open up the doors and let some fresh air in. It is also super bright in there. The coffee itself is very good and they always have unique fraps and drinks. It very interesting behind the counter as it looks like a bar. However the bar has been converted into coffee which is really neat. Overall a great place to hang out with friends or get work done. Also great to stop in and get your morning cup of joe on your way to work or morning stroll. read more

Such a Cute little coffee house! Parking is a little difficult to find due to it being surrounded by apartment complexes and houses but I did love the trail that is literally next to the shop. Its also very busy! They have a good amount of seating but due to Covid, it's not that convenient because you will have one person taking up a 4 top table. It'll be nice if they could spread some tables out and if need be push together for bigger parties. Their staff was pretty friendly as well! Expect to pay between $4-$6 depending on what you order. I had their Tedster which is basically a salted caramel latte. It was pretty good! I prefer it to be a little sweeter! We had the chance to find a table outside, the weather was really nice so I had a good experience enjoying my latte. Check them out! read more

Good if you're going to stick with a standard cold brew. Tried one of the seasonal drinks "Bonfire Brew" and basically paid 6$ for a cup of milk with chocolate syrup. No coffee taste at all- just milk. I have enjoyed my basic cold brew from here though- it's very smooth. Stick to that & you'll be ok. read more

Atmosphere was great, cool place to come and get stuff done before football on a Sunday, which is what I usually do. However, this week it was different. My order got messed up twice, first they gave me a size too small and then they got the cup size correct, however gave me the wrong flavor foam entirely. Overall, I really like the vibe of this place. The building itself is very beautiful and in a cute area of Broad Ripple. The different syrups are displayed so that you don't have to ask what they have. The prices and sizes are up on the menu board in large writing that is easy to read! I had a maple vanilla latte with oat milk. It tasted slightly like chocolate. I asked the (very sweet) barista how they make the lattes and she explained that instead of espresso, they actually use coffee concentrate. The coffee tasted alright, just a little bit watery due to the concentrate. I might try to come back and see if the black coffee or cold brew is good! read more

Java House has a great location right on the Monon Trail in Broad Ripple with outdoor seating available too. It looked like the offerings were just coffee and a selection of pastries and bagels in a case. I ordered a cappuccino, which was really more like a latte with steamed milk instead of frothed milk. All of their coffee is made from cold brew, so I will try something cold next time. I wouldn't come here just for the coffee, but it's worth a stop just because of the location. read more

I love supporting local coffee shops- and Java House is my new favorite coffee shop to visit. I frequently walk the Monon, any time I pass Java house it calls my name! It's so fun to watch your craft coffee be made via the bar. They have the BEST MOCHAS! Java house opens the garage doors on beautiful days so you can enjoy the breeze, they also have a few fire pits you can snuggle up to on chillier days. Great addition to the neighborhood! We've been fairly cautious about eating inside so far but once we got inside, we felt comfortable with the spacing of the tables to enjoy our coffees "here" for once. They even had a high chair for our baby to try some of our muffin and scone too the Tedster was delicious (maybe a little too salty though?) as was the chai tea latte. The atmosphere is cozy but industrial, it will be great when its warm enough to open the garage doors. Can't wait to go back! read more

(Will not be returning to this location!) This place used to be the best coffee I've ever had, but now the broad ripple location is no where close to what I would consider good quality coffee. If you are looking to get great coffee, go to the Carmel location! Nothing against Java house like I said it was the best coffee I've ever had, it is due to the past 3 times I've been to the broad ripple location I have left unhappy with the drinks I purchased. read more

We specialize in cold brew coffee. Instead of scorching our beans in hot water for a few minutes, we take the time to steep our beans in cold water for 12+ hours. The result is the best tasting coffee, rich & smooth, offered just the way you like it.

Established in 2019.

We opened the first Java House in Carmel, Indiana in May 2019. Since then, Java House has been busy in the Indianapolis community, opening more stores and having fun educating customers about coffee. Today, we are proud to have a total of 12 locations including four in Lafayette/West Lafayette Indiana. Java House specializes in Cold Brewing, rather than hot brewing, We originally chose to commit to authentic brewing methods, making sure every batch of coffee brewed has the same taste and quality as the last. Commonly, we brew in chilled water for a 12–24-hour period, yielding our standard smooth, flavorful Cold Brew

I love Tinker Coffee and this spot is no exception to their overall brand. It is a bit challenging to find parking but there are a few spots in front. I parked down the street and walked which is always an option. There are a few stairs to get in but also a ramp, and the set up has a nice aisle like space for the line and plenty of tables and chairs. It can be quite loud so keep that in mind if you want a quieter reflection time, and maybe take it to go or sit outside. They have various food items but I absolutely LOVE their peanut butter energy balls! In fact that is why I came to this location as this is where the magic happens. They make them here and send them to other Tinker locations! They are the perfect blend of savory and a tad sweet and go super well with their coffee and/or London Fog tea. Yum! I will freely admit to buying all they had on hand, and now can enjoy them at home. Yay! It is a very busy spot so not the friendliest of staff, but assumed they were already hassled from the morning. It was a great spot to meet a friend and enjoy the patio and some tea/coffee. I would for sure go back and even bring a friend! In fact I've already mentioned it to several people as a potential meet up spot! Definitely something to enjoy!

Service was friendly and prompt despite it being a one woman show at the time. Overall, it was a positive experience. They had a handful of outlets which make it convenient for remote work. I think the only thing that was missing was a background music to create more of an atmosphere.

Parking is street only so may be tough to snag a spot although yesterday was a beeeze due to the tough weather. There are a couple tables and I imagine it might get busy on a nice day. It was delicious! You can add an egg or chicken or salmon, but I don't think it needs any of those. If I had to do it all again, I'd ask for light dressing, because they were a little heavy-handed with the dressing on this salad. Isn't that always the way?! Restaurants need to cool it with the dressing, in my opinion. To be honest, the booze situation at Rize is a little anemic, but I don't think Rize is really the place to order anything alcoholic beyond a mimosa or bloody Mary. I got a screwdriver: freshly squeezed orange juice and vodka, and I'm still wondering where the vodka went. It did not visit my screwdriver, I tell you what. The seating inside Rize feels like it's at a premium, because depending on when you visit, there is very little of it. When I visited, almost every table was occupied, and the place was echoing with conversation. I chose to sit outside, which I'd recommend, if you can! It's so nice to sit and eat a good meal outdoors. How many times do we get to eat outdoors in Indiana? Just go outside, if you can.

One tip... coffee is $5, but so is cold brew or a cappuccino. They may not be bottomless, but we both upgraded from the drip coffee for the same price.
