Here for a yelp elite event. They focus on nitro coffee. They have lots of flavors, but I went with a plain Sumatran. There were only a limited amount of drinks with prices listed, which is one miss; but the coffee tastes good. Well decorated space and good location. read more

Java House - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Carmel, Indiana

See all

This is my new favorite place in Carmel for coffee and working! Their coffee is so smooth, and I think anyone who goes there will be impressed by it. My go-to is a hot Ethiopian and just recently I tried it with a pump of the sugar free vanilla...it was so tasty. Their specialty drinks look fantastic too. They also have plenty of space for working and meeting people. I haven't rented one of their offices yet, but they look cool. It's safe to say that I am a fan. read more

amazing service and atmosphere. very homey and cozy. i went this morning and got a medium ethiopian latte with almond milk, caramel and maple. so good! love the fact that it's all cold brew. you can also buy a cute pitcher for $15 of their cold brew. i will definitely next time! prices are understandable and baristas are kind. they even do latte art! overall, i'm very satisfied with this choice. i do NOT recommend working here though, if you do - get a personal work room! read more

Java House - muffin & coffee i got there - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Carmel, Indiana

Cute shop, looks like it would be a great coffee shop but it is essentially premade coffee. Hot brewed coffee tasted like hot water. Would skip this place if you are an actual coffee drinker. Looks like it may be good for sugar and fluff though if that is what you are in to. read more

Each time I visit Java House, I realize how quickly it has become a hot commodity. It's gaining well-deserved exposure and fast! I'm in the middle of the Coffeepalooza promotional program it is sponsoring, and it's been great to visit so many local coffee shops and receive discounts. The only negative thing I have to say is that their specialty drinks are extremely sweet. I usually ask for more ice, or two shots with less milk. They don't recommend two shots because they say their espresso is pretty strong, but I think if you drink the specialty drink as it comes, you'll be on a sugar high anyway! read more

The service was great. Both employees were very kind and enjoyable to talk to as my dad and I waited for our drinks. I had the iced Tedster which was a salted carmel drink. I'll be back! read more

This is a delectable little coffee shop! The barista is super friendly, and they offer classic coffees like a vanilla latte; but they also offer interesting combinations and flavors that are unique and fun! The place itself is clean and trendy with plenty of seating. It is a little expensive, but worth it. read more

They have a fun set up for choosing your drink! My friend and I both got cold brew drinks with different flavor shots. My drink was exactly how I ordered, but cold brew isn't my favorite thing to order. That's my fault for getting cold brew. I would go back and try something else. The employees were very friendly and helpful in deciding what to get. read more

The hockey wife, which is hibiscus tea and coconut, was so good and unique. I went back and ended up getting another! I am only here for vacation and will definitely be back when I visit Carmel! read more

Just stopped in, got a latte, sat down for a few minutes, and left. Seems like a nice place. I guess the price is what you'd expect for it being at Clay Terrace. The seating seemed kind of inefficient...for as few people as were there, it felt like the whole inside was low-level "taken" and we would have had to start horning in on space. There were very few padded chairs that I saw. read more

Ok, first, I love Coffee. I love good coffee! A friend told me about Java House, and I headed in a week ago. I took my computer so I could do some work, and the place was perfect. Pick your bean, your style, and enjoy. I started with a Latte, that was smooth, and rich and was perfect for getting my mind ready for some work. The atmosphere is super casual, quiet, and offers places to meet and mingle, or places to work alone, as I was. I then tried the cold brewed nitrogen infused coffee. Think of the smoothest coffee you have ever had, with the texture of a Guinness Stout. Coffee flavor oozes in your mouth, and you want to savor every sip. Sorry, I need a moment.....ok, better! Fabulous place, and I'm heading there now...... read more

So cute in here! Expensive place though. The conference rooms you can book out for I think $15 an hour and it is pretty quiet in there, so it is a good place to go and work. I would give it 5 stars but the coffee is pretty pricey unless you like it black. read more

I recently discovered Java House and it's quickly become a favorite. As others have mentioned, all they do is cold brew coffee but boy - do they do it well! I always order the same drink (The Tedster) and it is the perfect combo of sweet and savory. It has a salted caramel base, so if you like salted caramel, you will probably fall deeply in love with The Tedster. I really want to branch out and try a few of their other signature drinks but I just like the Tedster so much. They also have some yummy pastries, particularly their scones, which are from Rosie's. The blackberry lime flavor is particularly good. I've also tried their cookies (the salted caramel chocolate chip) and it was bit on the dry/stale side, so I don't plan to reorder. Service at this location is always first rate, too. Kind, hospitable folks are my jam. I'm taking off a star because of the price of their signature drinks and the cookies. $6 is a bit on the high side but that being said, it is great quality and every drink I've had was quite tasty. All in all, a really solid choice if you're in the mood for coffee! read more

The coffee is great and the space is amazing, but I have to comment on their amazing staff. I showed up slightly flustered because my printer at home wasn't working and I needed a copy of my resume, and these sweet people aided my plight and printed a couple of copies for me. Anyone can have good coffee and a great space, but few have exceptional people. read more

Wonderful! I tried Java house today for the first time. It had a warm and contemporary interior with nice conversation areas. I ordered one of the signature drinks, the "workaholic", hot and to go. It was flavored with maple and almond and was delicious. The coffee was very smooth, not bitter, and contained bits of almond which I really enjoyed. I will definitely be back as I am interested in the signature drink flavored with honey and cinnamon. read more

Java House - "Workaholic" served hot - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Carmel, Indiana

Stopped by to try the nitro. Pretty simple to order, nothing too terribly exotic. Would be nice if they listed characteristics, but they explained nicely. I had the Ethiopian nitro, tasted good would go back when I am near. read more

I gave this place a second try and unfortunately that was a mistake. The service was abysmal with a woman who made it seem like I was interrupting her day by placing an order for a coffee and muffin. The muffin tasted like it was frozen and thawed from a cheap food supplier that results in eating a stale lump of sugar. The coffee I ordered was in a cup that was half filled and then piled with deflated whipped cream. There's no concept of what good food and drink should taste like here. It's also disappointing to see these guys at farmers' markets. I expect local produce, food, and beverages from small farmers and businesses. This is a coffee house owned by a corporate giant, the same company that makes Splenda. They should be ashamed of themselves for stealing business away from true small businesses in an arena designed for small businesses. read more

As a cold brew lover this has easily become my favorite coffee shop. The drinks are great & prices are about average from what I see at most coffee shops. Highly recommend Java House! read more

Tedster blended is the best drink I have ever had!!! Not kidding!!! Love this place!!! Reagan is a fantastic barista!!!!

This coffee bar is neatly located next to Cafe Patachou at Clay Terrace. I went on a weekday mid morning and there was no immediate parking near the establishment so I had a little Trek to. The seating is limited from what I was able to see, there were clearly a lot of people there to do a little work on their laptop and that is awesome but they appeared to need a seat for the laptop a seat for their laptop bag a seat for their cell phone which cause there to be very few seats available. I sat at the counter and order just an iced coffee, Ethiopian blend with sugar-free vanilla and a splash of heavy cream. The coffee had a nice smooth taste, very low acidity and just a clean taste overall however it was not as strong as I enjoy my coffee. Before returning I will do some research and find what may better suit my palate. The Establishment could stand to have rules in place with regards to one individual taking up for seats. That's unacceptable. read more

Java House - Iced Ethiopian Blend Coffee with sugar-free vanilla and a splash of heavy cream - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Carmel, Indiana

Best coffee in the area. Dunkin is trash, Starbucks is hit-miss (mostly miss), and Bigbee is okay. But javahouse has the best coffee/cold brew, and the best mixing/toppings. Putting cheap/junk chocolate syrup or caramel really makes a drink gross and too sugary. Javahouse seems to have the quality ingredients, and very good coffee. I just wish they had Bagel Fair bagels available all the time! read more

Insanely smooth coffee -- no bitterness and nice flavor. And the first place I've found in the area serving oat milk. I had an iced latte with oat milk and it was so velvety and almost had a carmel flavor. It was the perfect summer treat without any sugar. read more

Terrible brew--watery and tastes like McDonald's coffee. How is this so popular?!? I don't recommend

LOVED this spot! Great to get some work done on a Saturday afternoon. Looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu!

Amazing service, delicious coffee! I do not drink dairy milk and I loved the variety of plant-based milk options they offer. They also have tea and tea lattes, which is great for those who don't drink coffee. The atmosphere was great too. The barista who helped me was very nice and cheerful and patient with my many questions! I can't wait to go back! #supportlocal read more

I love how smooth this coffee is! It's really good. The decor makes you feel like you are in Chicago or New York with the rustic urban feel.

Really love this place! The staff members are super friendly and knowledgable when it comes to the coffee available! I prefer their coffee over Starbucks as it doesn't upset my stomach or result in a headache! Highly recommend! read more

I would give their specialty coffee drinks 5 stars, because they're delicious... But very little coffee actually goes into the drink... I wonder if I can add LESS ice and more coffee? Also I ordered a cappuccino recently and it was DEFINITELY more like a Latte! It had WAY too much milk... I was good but tasted like hot chocolate and not at all like a cappuccino.. and I drink a lot of them... I hope the owner will check to make sure the baristas know how to make the basic coffee drinks too! I love the decor, and hopefully some items that go with coffee to eat will be added to the menu. read more

I LOVE Java House Coffee Bar. This is my new favorite place to come study and have coffee. I had the sumatran nitro with honey and WOW!!! I drove over 30 minutes to visit this coffee shop, and it was well worth it. Bonus: it's located next to a bunch of awesome stores for a little browse + study break. I will gladly drive here frequently to study, well worth the commute for me! read more

This is my new favorite coffee house! Their coffee is so smooth and non-acidic. None of that burnt coffee taste or smell. The staff is personal and take their coffee very seriously. They have also started a charitable fund and have been taking their wonderful coffee to hospitals for the staff working through all of this COVID-19 craziness. So impressed with everything about this place! read more

Thought I'd try something new today on my way to work. So glad I did! I found one of my new favorite coffee shops. I had no idea what to order but the woman working asked me a few questions then made me something that was delicious! Will definitely be back read more

Wake up and come to this house. Let me begin my telling you that this place is the primeur coffee spot that all the java heads should know about. It's beautiful wood and brown tones make you want to stay the night. Cassandra helped me to make a extremely impressive good decision as a first time visitor. I have the workaholic - it was a first class production of maple almond coffee with the best whip cream I've ever had in my life ! Ben crafted it with the love and care he knew I needed from working sooooo much . The coffee was the perfect temp , hot but not too hot for me to drink from the first sip. It was gone in no time and I was ready for a second. Now the coffee is just the beginning of greatness that this place offers. If you are curious like me, you can wander through the house and find private rooms with doors that allow you to be alone with your java and thoughts or with a scheduled visitor. I definitely recommend this place for chatting up old friends behind closed doors or out in the community space. The coffee is great and Ben and Cassandra are amazing ! read more

Not a fan of their customer service. Walked in, the barista looked me straight in the eye and didn't say anything. When it was my turn to order, barely said anything. Then two older white men walked, she gave them a cherry "good morning" when they walked in and then again as they walked to the counter. Be sure to address people the same and not just certain customers; it costs you customer. The lady was a little short with short blonde hair. read more

We tried the hot caramel latte and the Brewski blended. The coffee flavor was not as strong in the Brewski but it was delicious. We really liked the smoothness of the cold brew process and it had less acid. The atmosphere was clean and cute with nice seating outside. read more

not only is this a fantastic coffee spot, but it's a great place to have small events too! i held a meeting with about 10 other gals and we had an amazing time. the staff was so helpful and accommodating. you do have to reserve spaces in person. highly, highly recommend! read more

Excellent coffee but overpriced. I will likely return but not too often given the prices.

my favorite coffee place finally has a drive through! friendly staff and great coffeee!! highly reccomend!!

Absolutely love a hot Workaholic!! Friendly service. Reasonable prices. Wish there were more seats.

Love the coffee and the staff have been really nice. My big complaint is the changing and inconsistent hours in the evening. This has been a great place to go for some after hours work, and when I've been it has always been populated with students studying and people meeting, why close at 7 now? I personally think you're shutting out a part of your business with a lot of potential growth. Unfortunately I'll be looking for another coffee shop to go to in the evenings. read more

Love this place! Great drinks on the menu, great cold brew coffee, cozy and comfortable seating areas. My all time favorite is cafe latte. My new favorite drink is green tree frappe (I forgot the real name of the drink) - In addition to coffee, they serve a variety of cold and frappe drinks, along with crafted teas. I am glad that the company tries to be environmentally friendly. Unfortunately, their paper straw could not last my grande size drink. read more
