Came to Java House for a business meeting. It worked out extremely well! They have four top tables in the main area where you can sit. They also have dedicated meeting rooms. The dedicated meeting rooms are available for a price. See picture below. My other coffee shops, you can purchase all different kinds of coffee. In addition, they have an assortment of breakfast sandwiches. We didn't try the breakfast sandwiches, but they looked good on the menu and in the past We just got regular coffee and lattes. They were very good. The service was just OK. Our coffee was delivered promptly, but the server was not overly friendly. We ask for a refill on the plain drip coffee. We were told it would be two dollars for a refill. We ask for the latte to be reheated since we had sat there for sometime during our meeting. We were told they do not have a microwave. There are a lot of repeat loyal customers since this place markets themselves for business meetings. They may want to consider changing their model for their repeat customers. Perhaps by using their rewards program to recognize customers by offering a less expensive, or even free, refill on plain coffee. This will make them more competitive with other coffee shops. It will also encourage the meeting environment that they are trying to establish. We will return again for a business meeting. We are hoping they become more customer focused for their repeat visitors. read more

Java House - Price of meeting rooms - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Carmel, Indiana

This Java House is located at Clay Terrace outside mall and the parking is limited. The hours are 6:30am to 6:00 pm Monday-Sunday. What frustrates me is when you go to an expensive coffee house and you take a sip and the first thing you taste is waterish coffee. Weak. Mediocre. I also ordered a chocolate croissant. And the croissant was soft, but I'm not too sure what they use for chocolate? I don't know, but aside from the food the ambience at this place was spectacular. It was really nice, clean and modern. Very cute little place. Also, they had cute little bandannas that you can buy for your dog for about 6.00 ish. read more

This is one of my favorite Java House locations! I've visited twice in the last month and just can't get enough of their iced cold brew - it's so smooth with almost a chocolate taste. My son loves the "refresher" type drinks as well as the sandwiches. Prices are comparable to other coffee shops but the atmosphere is way cooler! If there was a Java House closer to me (Noblesville) I suspect I'd be a regular! read more

Java House - Iced cold brew with 2 pumps vanilla and splash of cream - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Carmel, Indiana

This is my third different Java House location, and I would say that each coffee has been good, though your experience is going to be colored by how busy or how friendly the workers who happen to be in are. In my case, I got here early enough that I didn't have to wait, and there were just a handful of people inside enjoying their orders. The barista was friendly enough and got to my cold Naughty Nog (Eggnog latte) drink right away. Yes, even though it was about 20 outside, I got a cold drink. Since not a lot of places sell this, I always forget how good eggnog themed lattes can be, but this was a great flavor combination. If you're wanting a sugary coffee drink, this is a very good seasonal option, though I can't say I've ever had anything bad from this regional chain read more

I like Java House but I had never been to this location. I love that my favorite coffee shop now supports my favorite Motorsport... INDYCAR! And during the month of May, several locations of Java House hosted driver meet and greet events at their locations and I was able to attend one at Clay Terrace. This location like any others was so beautiful and of course they had that iconic "Cold Brew" sign. I like the atmosphere here. The event was very well organized and fun. They had special drinks named after the ECR drivers. I tried "Edster", which I thought was a similar version of their signature drink "Tedster" but it was a lot different. Edster was a tea, not coffee but it was so refreshing and tasty. I hope that they keep those special drinks all season long. Although really busy with the event crowd, the service we received by the staff was excellent. Thank you for hosting such an event and making fun drinks. read more

Favorite coffee shop in town!!! The Tedster is my go to but I have enjoyed being able to make it myself with their pods at home (salted caramel syrup, one Java house pod, and 2% milk!) It's always fun to come in and try the rotating seasonal drinks too. Service is always friendly and quick and such a fun atmosphere. Plenty of seating options and conference rooms for rent if wanting to book a quieter space. read more

Was Visiting from New Jersey and stopped in to grab a coffee on a stroll and was highly impressed. The whip cream on top you can tell was fresh and was flavors with coffee I think it was so good. The texture of the coffee was so smooth with a nice flavor. Place was super clean and decorated nicely. The staff was nice and efficient and got our coffees out fast. Would definitely stop by again if I'm in the area. read more

I'm one of the biggest Java House fans and today was unfortunately a let down. I waited 20 minutes for my beverage while watching mobile orders and those who ordered behind me get their drinks and pastries. Luckily the cashier noticed and checked in with the two ladies making the drinks. I'm not sure what was going on, but I typically go to the midtown location and will stick to going there or another location next time. read more

For the 1st time I had tea instead of coffee. The tea selection is small but they gave us the option of adding flavored syrups. The environment is always warm and welcoming. The staff is always nice and friendly. Pastry item: lemon pound cake which was moist and not too sweet.Perfect treat to go with our beverage. 9/10 only because I wish the pastry was bigger in size. Still great item on their menu . Tip: Instead of honey in your tea try adding their flavor syrup. read more

Tucked in right next to Patachu right in the middle of Clay Terrace. Really cool ambiance. Plenty of warm lighting to cozy up the metal furniture a bit. Friendly people. Great coffee. Lots of rooms to rent some study or meeting space if you want some privacy.

Attended a Bible Study event from Let's Be Friends - Indy in their private event room space at Java House in Carmel. We rented it for a very low cost for a few hours. Check in with Yelp and get 10% off your order! I love the atmosphere of this place. It is my wife's favorite place because it has her Decaf Latte with Oat Milk and she says it taste's great. I've struck out a few times with the coffee of the day tasting bitter or too dark. I did have a taste of her Latte and it did taste very good. So, I'm not giving up yet and think that maybe this is the place to go for good espresso based drinks. I'll update this if I try it again. That said, the staff here is always great, I could imagine bringing my laptop here and being able to work and drink coffee. read more

I love the convenience of the Java house at Clay Terrace. The decor and openness of this location is great. Who doesn't love visiting a welcoming staff, comfortable seating and fun decor that is specific to this location, different than the library location or the Carmel midway location which by the way are great too!! I love their bagel breakfast sandwich as it has a bit of a twist with caramelized onion, with cheese )I requested that be removed-no problem) egg and bacon. I'm not sure what makes this so good aside from the onion but it is the highlight of a good breakfast sandwich. One cannot pass up the opportunity to have a cold brew latte and be sure to try the flavored cold foam such as blueberry or blackberry. Wow is that good! They offer seasonal drinks that rotate so longing for something new pr even your fave is no problem here. Java house offers points too with a rewards system. One of the few times you'll get a 5-star review from a 4-star fan. I can't dock Java House for anything. It's spacious, yet comfortable. Clean and inviting. The servers are friendly. All the supplies (cream, sugar, napkins, stirrers) are kept well stocked. It's in comfortable walking distance to lots of great Carmel eateries and destinations. There's really nothing to not like here. I'm just not a cold brew person. All of Java House's coffee is cold brew, even the hot stuff. So when you get a big cup of Sumatra, don't expect it to claw at your face like a cat spotting a laser pointer dot on your nose. It will just mellowly cuddle up and purr. I think that might please a lot of people's tastes, and can't fault them for it. However, I like my coffee so pitch black and acidic I need to call in Sigourney Weaver to fight it off my space ship read more

I like how they have a lot of unique drink recipes on the menu, with pictures. And they have all the basic espresso recipes as well.

I finally had my first Java House experience! I really like the vibe of Java House. If I felt comfortable hanging out in a busy coffee shop right now, this would be a great option. They do have rooms available to rent for $15/hr for meetings/work purposes as well, which is cool. As a tea drinker, I wasn't sure what to make of the menu at first. At a glance, it looked like my options were black, green, or hibiscus tea served either hot or cold. But they do have signature tea lattes--the hockey wife and green momma. They have milk substitutes as well (though I didn't see them listed anywhere on the menu board, they told me they have coconut, soy, almond, and more), so my dairy free self could partake. At $6 a latte, it's a little steep for me to have one on the regular. However, for an occasional splurge, I can make it work. Especially after I actually tried the Hockey Wife! It's the best tea latte I've tried in a long time. Hibiscus + Coconut. It was smooth, comforting, and unique-- the perfect drink for me today and I'm really glad I went for it! Looking forward to trying more from Java House in the future. read more

My only reason for 4 starts and not 5 is because I wish there was more seating available inside! I came to work here for the afternoon and it's a bit crowded. I went with one of their specialty drinks, Honey Baby. All of their specialty drinks are lattes and for $6. Lemme tell you- the drink is incredible. It's so smooth and very delicious. I wish I would have known their was whip cream on top because I would have asked for them to skip that. Yea I'm one of those crazy people that doesn't like whip cream :). Next time I'll be sure to specify no whip cream, but would have been nice for them to tell me as well. I'll be back for coffee next time I'm in the area. read more

I'm a fan of Java House, and I'm glad to see they've been successful in Central Indiana with all of their new locations! Compared to the Midtown Carmel location, this space at Clay Terrace feels larger - plus, they have quite a few private meeting rooms you can reserve in advance for a reasonable fee. Most rooms are on the first floor back past the barista counter, but there is a cool board room with a long table on the "second floor" (if you can call it that) up the windy spiral staircase that frankly feels a bit treacherous. I am not a coffee drinker, so I usually opt for a tea-based drink. Would love to see more tea options on the menu! read more

I wanted to update my review after my most recent experience at Java House. I have been a couple times during the pandemic and usually will get a beverage, go to one of the many conference rooms and do some work. I've been a big fan of the private rooms since they have a small table, couple of chairs and offer some privacy -- great spot to get work done! However during my most recent visit, there were new signs on all of the conference rooms that state they are now charging $15/hour to rent a room. Hold up what?? I spoke to the employee about it and he informed me that they have been charging since the store opened, but during the pandemic mandate where businesses where to operate at less than full capacity, they opened the rooms free of charge to customers to create more space. This was very disappointing because I really enjoyed having a beverage and doing work in the conference rooms. The drinks are good, but this just rubs me the wrong way. Perhaps $5/hour to rent a room would be reasonable but at $15/hour, I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

Great iced coffee and a nice open space. I stopped in here after grabbing some items at a shoppe around the corner at Clay Terrace. Unfortunately, upon arrival I was not greeted when I walked to the counter and actually had to ask if I could begin ordering. I quickly realized the first person I interacted with was in training, and so I waived off the poor service, figuring that she may have just been nervous. However, soon a trainer arrived to help her and she also said nothing to me. I got a 10% off coupon when I checked in, so that was nice, and the ice coffee was good, so I'm just taking one star off for service. read more

If you want to find all cold brew coffee. This is your spot. All coffe beans are steeped in cold water for 12 plus hours. Options are Cold brew, Nitro and hot cold brew. Coffee sizes are 12 or 16 oz. Selections consists of coffee and tea. Coffee- Columbia, Ethiopian, Sumatra or Decaf. Tea- Black Green or Hibiscus. Drink Styles are Black, Americano, Cappuccino, Latte and Frappe and there are plenty of signature drinks to pick from. Today was my first time in the establishment and I chose a pumpkin spice latte with cheesecake whip. In my opinion the coffe was mild, extremely smooth and easy to drink I didn't get much of a pumpkin flavor and at the same time that was okay for me. The cheesecake whio with spice was amazing. Java is not like any other coffee business I've visited. I like the different style and will come back to try a frappe and specialty coffee. read more

Such a cool space! My favorite part? They have creative seating. There are tables outside, a mini conference room you can book upstairs, a two-person "private conversation" room (good for phone calls), bar stools, a community table, comfy lounge seats and small individual tables. It really caters well to the variety of people coming here, for example, a casual meet-up with friends vs a business meeting. They sell primarily coffee-based drinks (makes sense based on their brand)! They're known for their nitro cold brew, which you can also purchase to go. I'm not a coffee drinker, so while I can't speak on those, they do have black, green and hibiscus tea. I got the seasonal special: mojito mint iced tea and it was a bit too sweet for me, but I appreciated that they offered tea. They only have cheese and yogurt for food options, and I'd love to see more too! Always hungry over here. ;) Welcome to Clay Terrace! It's exciting to have a new community spot like this! Invited to come for a Yelp event where nitro coffee was the focus. Cool and interesting coffee place. They only serve Cold Brewed coffee. The cold brew process makes the coffee much less astringent or bitter, so you get a much smoother mouth feel. Couple that with the nitrogen delivery, you get an even smoother beverage. I had a 16oz Sumatra black. See pic... The interior is clean and uncluttered with high ceilings and lots of seating. Also they have 6 or 7 meeting rooms available. Java House Coffee Bar continues to be my favorite spot for coffee in Indy. Primarily cause of their non dairy coffees and casual vibe to work/study. My go to coffee is Maho - a creamy, delicious frothy (although the base isn't milk) whipped up mix of coconut and chocolate. Its topped with lovely bits of toasted coconut adding nuttiness in every sip. They do have other varieties of floral combinations such as hibiscus and honey/chocolate cinnamon. read more

Check this place out! (Full disclosure, I got a coffee as a a yelp elite perk) but I can't say enough good things, this location is beautiful! Located in the fancy Carmel mall next across from prime 47 you can find java house. Just walk into the section that has dicks sporting goods and you'll have no issue finding it. Friendly and helpful staff! The location is modern but comfortable, you can rent conference room space which I would love to take advantage of it it were closer to my office. The coffee is amazing, and I'm a coffee lover, but this nitro is so smooth you can't even tell it's coffee: They have light, medium and dark roasts to choose from. You're also encouraged to drink it without the lid so you can get a good hit of all the smells. Awesome place and I can't wait to go back the next time I'm in Carmel read more

A national chain that newly opened this location about 3 weeks ago. There's free parking around the shopping center. Walking in, I was instantly stunned by how beautiful the place looked. There were different sizes and styles of tables and looked like they have private rooms too. I also noticed they had retail cold brew drinks and pods available so they're probably being sold online and in grocery stores. Their cold brew is advertised to be stepped for at least 12 hours so there is minimal acidity to the coffee. I got a little confused with the menu, unsure how the cold brew was ordered, if the specialty drinks were cold brew, and whatnot. Lucky the servers were incredibly patient, friendly and helpful. First select if you want cold brew or tea, then the type of roast/leaves you'd like. Next decide if you want it hot, cold, or nitro brewed. Lastly select the size. Or you could just skip to the specialty drinks, which is what I did. They're 16 oz i believe. Two of the specialty drinks are tea based, Hockey Wife and Green Momma. I opted for the Maho, which had coconut and chocolate. For the price i wish it was a 24 oz drink because i felt i got more milk and ice than coffee. It was delicious though. I'll have to come back to try out some more before i know for sure how i feel. read more

We celebrated Mother's Day a day early so, in the absence of other plans, offered to take my mother-in-law out for coffee on Sunday before we left. She suggested Java House, a place she's stopped a few times when shopping at Clay Terrace. The space is adorable - industrial chic with some fun lighting, great menu boards, and different seating options. They have some private rooms available for rent which would be nice for study groups or community organizations looking for a place to meet. The barista recognized that we were hemming and hawing a bit and helpfully offered some suggestions of popular drinks. I had the iced Brewski, which is an iced English Toffee latte. It was balanced and not cloyingly sweet. I appreciated the milk alternative options. We grabbed a table outside and enjoyed our beverages in the sunshine. That would be my only caution - and not necessarily something Java House can control for. The people waiting for tables next door at Patachou were all over the outdoor seating at Java House, making it difficult to find seating at a place we were supporting. Maybe that's less of an issue on days other than Mother's Day? We'll be back for sure - this was a fun little treat for all of us and there were more things on the menu I wanted to try! read more

This is located right next to Dick's Sporting Goods and Oliver Twist in the Clay Terrace shopping center. It took awhile to find it for me because I rarely go to Clay Terrace and they needed more signs. When you drive by it sits back and you would really have to look for it. More signage would really help. The interior is beautiful. It's pretty big inside and is very open. There's a lot of seating. I was welcomed when I went up to order. It wasn't busy when I went. They didn't explain what they offered or that they only serve cold brew coffee. I knew that going in. I got the Colombian nitro cold brew with vanilla added. It was ok. Would I order that again, probably not. I like iced coffees those are my favorite and don't mind cold brew coffee. Next time I will order my drink warm and see if I like it better. They had a few trays of pastries on the counter. I asked the lady if we were supposed to help ourselves and she said yes. I don't know what else they offer as far as food goes. It is a nice place and I would go back and try something else. This concept of cold brew is popular now and hope they do well. read more

I've been here a few times now and Java House never disappoints. Only today, I discovered they have meeting rooms you can rent! How cool! And very convenient given the location in the middle of Clay Terrace Mall. Do some shopping, stop by for a meeting while sipping some delicious cold brew coffee, then shop some more! I got the Workaholic (iced) today and loved it. For those who like their coffee very dark and heavy, Sumatra is NOT the way to go (according to my husband) - get the Colombian coffee instead. Java House's prices are on the higher end ($6.53 for my iced Workaholic today), but it's worth it! I love the friendly, working vibe in this place, the delicious coffee, and it's convenient location.
