Busy Jamba Juice location located in the prime shopping district of Lake avenue in Pasadena. I can say that unfortunately there is nothing positively memorable about this Jamba Juice. Jamba provides a consistent experience with a selection of smoothies or juices. Prices do seem a bit high for what you get, and there is quite a lot of sugar in the drinks. My kids love it, so i was confused why I got attitude when I asked for an extra kids cup. The worker seemed slightly bothered that I was asking for it. More so, did she go above and beyond by offering me a extra lid or an extra straw? Nope, she handed me just what I asked for. A single extra cup and walked away (in haste). I then proceeded to reach behind the counter and get the straw myself. I probably will be back to this location when it is convenient, but this is not an everyday destination for me. The store today was extremely hot and made my experience very uncomfortable. The workers should not have to work in these conditions with temperatures being about 90 degrees outside and feeling the same inside the store. I was only in there for about 15 minutes but I can't imagine how uncomfortable and hot the employees were having to work there with no air conditioner. Place my order with a young kid who was way to interested in his coworker rather than actually doing anything remotely close to his job. Zero greeting, no hello, hey how you doing, zero, nothing. The workers here had great customer service and made our smoothies correctly but they do not deserve to work under these conditions. Terrible service from slow and unhelpful employee named Tyra. First the team made my drink and didn't announce it. After ten minutes I came to ask and they handed me a melted smoothie. So we took advantage of it and stopped in for a 9 oz pumpkin smoothie for only $2 (prior to tax). We arrived around 1:45 pm and it was pretty quiet and wasn't much of a line. I would have preferred the smoothie to be sweeter, but my husband thought it was good. The employee who took our order was friendly. There are some chairs and tables inside here (outdoor seating as well) in case you would like to hang out here for a while. Also if you need to use the restroom, you need to ask for a key (the key is attached to an ice cream scoop). Overall, an A-Okay experience, thus a 3 star rating. In walking distance of Trader Joe's and other shopping mall complexes where people can leisurely stroll in to grab a smoothie if they choose. About two weeks ago my family and I went to this Jamba Juice on south Lake Ave and one of the items I ordered is the Razzmatazz because my child is allergic to dairy. When we got home my child started eating it and got a MAJOR allergic reaction with stomach pain, breathing problems and then started vomiting. I contacted the manager on duty and gave her my order number and I asked to find out why the Razzmatazz has dairy when the menu says is dairy free. She said she was going to ask the employees and she never got back to me. That is so impolite and unprofessional. Not happy with the manager's approach to this matter.
