Several years ago, I used to go to this shop, the branch in old town Pasadena. It's a great place to pick up a healthy snack and is really nice on a hot day. I have not yet tried their açai bowl although what I have seen from others, it looks delicious and it has a vast range of toppings that are unlimited. I even saw toddlers, ordering it and super excited to eat it. What I have ordered often from the shop are there toasts. You can get a choice of bread which is very high-quality, and add either avocado spread or a nut butter spread. I went yesterday on a very hot day and the avocados were not ripe enough, so I chose a cashew butter toast. There are many toppings to choose from like granola's, nuts, seeds, chia pudding, fresh fruit, and even natural sweeteners. I got some berries, fresh and toasted coconut and date syrup drizzled on top. It is such a satisfying snack with a bit of protein and other healthy ingredients that I did not feel guilty about eating I don't know if it was the bread I chose, but the size was a little smaller than what I remember. I recently have discovered how much I love Acai bowls! So I was excited to try a new spot in Pasadena when I was in the area. Parking here was difficult, this location is located in central Pasadena (near Lake) and every time I am in this area it gives me such high stress and anxiety because the drivers here seemed to be impatient and reckless as they drive in the city. The parking lot behind the row of businesses were packed. This was on a Friday night around 7pm. After 10 mins of circling the area, we finally found a spot.
