Shockingly rude employees at this location. I went in today and made my order, when a dour employee said: "We don't have that." After getting a clear impression that my business wasn't wanted but still trying to salvage the situation, I chose another smoothie. Her blunt response: "We don't have that either and you shouldn't cut people off while they're talking." I'd be fired if I ever spoke to someone like that at my job, but politeness doesn't seem to be a priority at this location. Continuing to speak to her didn't seem like an option, so I went to So Smoothie on Orange Grove and had a much better experience. The employee in question was working at 2pm on 4/2/26, was wearing an earpiece while she worked, had a tattoo and was the older of the employees working. I came here the other day and there was plenty of parking. The store wasn't crowded and the staff was really nice. My usual order is mango-a-go-go, but this time I tried their ice beverages Mangomorphosis and my boyfriend got the Dragonberrly Blitz. The Mangomorphosis was way too sweet and the Dragonberrly Blitz tasted like medicine. I don't recommend the Dragonberrly Blitz, but could probably fix the Mangomorphosis at home with some iced tea. Next time I come, I would probably get my usual instead. I took off some stars because several times before based on past visits, our drinks weren't filled all the way and there is a gap of 3/4 an inch missing. It was really hot in Pasadena so we just wanted a refreshing drink to cool off and found this place nearby. The service here is really fast and there's a lot of parking in the private lot behind the store. They don't really have any seating available besides some chairs but most customers just grab-and-go. We ordered the Acai Super-Antioxidant, Strawberry Wave Rider, White Gummi, and Razzmatazz. I'm not sure if its this location in particular, but the smoothies are not like they used to be. It tasted heavily artificial and was very icy, almost like a fruit sorbet. There was no real fruit flavor, as if they only used juices and ice. It was pretty pricy (nearly $8 for the largest size) considering that none of the ingredients are fresh. The absolute worst Jamba Juice you could ever go to. My roommate went in here tonight to order smoothies for us. I told her to surprise me but to get something vegan or juice-based. When she asked the male employee at the cashier whether their new pumpkin drink, the one that Jamba specifically markets as PLANT-BASED, is vegan, he was just like, "uhhhmmm i mean iunno, i can go check i guess," and then walked to the back. Half an eternity later, he came out and told her that he still didn't know. I mean.....who is the manager here? What if somebody had severe allergies to nuts or milk or whatever and no one in this store even knows their menu well enough to inform customers of the ingredients? wth. When she asked again what is in their "pumpkin spices," he literally said, "I mean like, iunno like eggs, pumpkin pie stuff, iunno" and she was like, "Soooo there's eggs in the mix...that goes in the 'plant-based' version of this drink?" And he was like, "I mean yeahhh I guess. That's what the bag says i guessss." This place must either have no manager currently or they are completely not fit to be training people as a manager. Really, really embarrassing. Also, JAMBA JUICE, what is up with FALSELY advertising things as plant-based if they do in fact have eggs in the spice mixes? I came in the other day like i usually do and Dalfia was just an angel as always! such a sweet girl who doesn't mind walking me through any questions i have or making any last minute changes to my drink for me. I look forward to seeing her when I come in because she just brightens up eveybodies day. The store is always clean when she's there. She makes the best Orange Dreamsicle and is so accommodating when i bring in my grandkids (picky) for a treat. Yesterday she asked me to leave an honest review of her service so here it is! She even makes sure to wipe down the cup and lid so it's not messy with smoothie all over it which no other workers seem to do anymore. I love Jamba Juice. Love. I love their bowls. I love their smoothies. I love their oatmeal. I've been going to Jamba Juice for more than 20 years. But this location? No thank you. They'll make the wrong order and give you something gross that goes right into the trash. When you call to let them know they got it wrong, tell you they'll remake the right one next time you're in to "make things right for you" and to just let the person at the register know. But when you go in, they'll claim not to be able to find a record of the offer to fix it. I don't know if they're just disorganized or flatly dishonest, but either way, I don't like it. 5 stars for service and 3 stars because Jamba is Jamba. Good but not TDF. :) I frequent Jamba whenever it's convenient and I'm too lazy or busy to make my own smoothie. I know they're usually understaffed and have random waves of business. So when there's a big crowd, clearly it can be overwhelming for the staff. Tonight, there was a good flow of customers and small lines forming, yet the two guys behind the counter were really patient and quick. The cashier (Sean) took my order of three items with a ton of substitutions with a great attitude. The prep guy ( Daniel) seemed totally on top his game and precise (like when pouring in milk or putting the acai bowls together. Haha. I tend to pay attention to detail sometimes. :) I just had to share this because i often get average to below average service and I appreciated this for a change. These guys can probably use extra help and probably get unhappy customers sometimes but they do a good job keeping a neutral/good attitude and good service. Hats off to them. read more

I have loved jamba juice from the beginning... Literally. I've loved them since before they were called "Jamba Juice", back when they were known as The Juice Club in San Luis Obispo in the late 80's. Trust me on this or do some research :). They still have some of the items from the original menu, like Peach Pleasure and Razzamataz... absolute classics! But what I like most about Jamba and what sets them apart from their competitors is that they use real ingredients. Additionally, I find them to be less sugary than the others. I recently learned that you may request your drink to be thicker or thinner... Wow the new things you learn! ... and I do happen to like my smoothies thicker, so now I can ask for that. They have always been great about accommodating my food allergies and substituting out dairy and sherbets.. different fruits etc! They also often have great specials and discounts so look for those options and sign up for their email newsletters! Sometimes it's a BOGO deal, and other times they have Happy Hours, where a small is only $1!!!!! Where else can you get such a great, HEALTHY deal?!!! Speaking of healthy, I am so stoked because my little one is a glutton for anything Jamba... From the BERRY UPBEAT, which contains beets and carrots, to the TROPICAL HARVEST, with its yellow veggie blend... To the TRIPLE REVITALIZER made of freshly squeezed Carrot, Orange and Banana (BTW... we like to add strawberries!)... Wow, I am one happy mama when he gets a boost of veggies and he's happy to slurp it, yet clueless that it's all healthy! LOL.. What mom wouldn't be happy???!! He also loves their little pizza whirls with cheese and ham. So when my son is finicky... We just mosey on over to our favorite smoothie spot! Gotta love that their menu is so kid friendly. Aside from the smoothies mentioned above, I also love their antioxidant abundant ACAI SUPER ANTIOXIDANT and the newer KONA BLAST... My other favorite item is their ACAI TOPPER, which is topped with bananas and organic granola. It's filling for breakfast or a mid-day snack. Finally, I really like their STEEL CUT OATMEAL. They make it fresh everyday, it's organic, made made with soymilk, and never overly sweetened. I cannot get over how much we love Jamba in our household. It's an essential must-have. This place has a three person capacity inside the store due to COVID restrictions. I went there and there were three people inside the store. They all seemed to be waiting for their orders in the corner. There were two girls outside waiting. I was used to people waiting for their orders outside and I thought everyone was waiting for their orders. When one of the men got his order and came out, I was trying to get in and he said the two girls were here first. Then I realized that they were actually waiting to get in to order. But they could not get in as there is a 3 person limit. So I wonder why the two men (obviously they are one party as they were talking to each other) were not out here waiting for their order and let others go in and order. That's what happened the last few visits when I was there. People usually just wait outside and only go inside for ordering and picking up. Not waiting inside. That's just rude. The staff should really manage this but it seems to me the staff seems to more interested in washing then having business/serve customers. One of the two guys walked out and the two girls walked in to order. Then one of the girls came out so I could go in and order. The staff was totally not welcoming and not even paying attention to what I said. I told her my order and she kept waiting while I pull up my app. Then she said in an impatient tone that she needed to know what I wanted to order first. Anyway, the staff completely showed me that she didn't seem to have any training in customer service or this was just not a good working day for her. Anyway, the whole unnecessary long waiting time and bad customer service will for sure deter me from going to this store again. Been to this location a few times. Only issue is with parking - you can park in the lot in the back or in front both metered. They have a small lot in the back that is shared with Veggie Grill that is free but rarely open. So even if you're only there for 5 mins, you have to pay $1 for an hour. But I guess that's with most places in this Pasadena area. Staff is nice and they make drinks fairly quickly. My nieces and nephew really like their strawberries wild and mega mango. read more

After being to this location for dozens of times , had the most horrific experience today with employee Jen. I just asked for no ice for my drink, and the nice male employee asked if it were short, what I want in. I just said all the Jamba Juice I been to they usually just put extra fruit, but half/half mango/ sherbet probably makes it even and would be nice. When I saw he added extra sherbet, and the usual three scoops of mango, I asked if he can add a bit of mango. The whole point is no imbalance from original formula. Jen interjected and said I should be charged $.75, and if everyone is like me, the business loses money and it is the same as STEALING. Wow... I told her for 50+ times I ordered from Jamba Juice, employees just add a little extra, but when asked, in response asking for something to be normal proportion, now I am equivalent to a thief as well as causes the business to collapse- that is way inappropriate and over. How could one humiliate a customer like this and the decade plus experiences with Jamba Juice, all of them are handling inappropriately and cause business to lose money, but she is right? Then, if it is about 0.75 cents, I gave her a $1 but she should never put down a customer this way. When the power play and superior rightful complex did not play out as she expected, she suddenly turned to playing victim and claimed that I throw money at her and said she felt uncomfortable. How about the customer's comfort with the machine gun series of accusation from asking for .75, to stealing in front of other customers and employee??!! This is the most absurd experience I ever had. I just wanted to explain my reasons , how it led there, she misunderstood, the original intention was that things to be in same proportion, and not be called a thief. But some people must win and put others, even customers in the wrong, so now instead of superior in the right, which didn't play out as she expected, she was then victim and being thrown at- no matter what, the customer is in the wrong . Omg, nothing one can say to get her back off mistreating /disrespecting the customer, as she claimed the one being disrespected the whole time. I am speechless and hope management can be more mindful of employees' psyche and superior complex that supersede customer service and understanding. If it were about money, I would not have tipped as well as give a dollar more. If I were to throw money at her, I would throw it at her face, not put it on the counter. I was frustrated at her not listening and lack of self reflection but I was not mad. Yet I won't take any of her misbehavior. It is just jaw dropping for ppl who forget their original intention and obligation in service industry. Not for one second did it ever cross her mind, how her razor sharp words would make any customer feel, especially a loyal repeated patron. I feel bad for the male employee watching on the side. And I am sorry I put you in difficult position if you ever read this... Also throughout the years, I see the cup of Jamba Juice is less filled than before. It was never like this first three years. The two drinks I saw Jen made for earlier customers have a big gap of at least 3-5 tablespoons off, on the side, facing me , not the customer, she was chatting with customer while the juicer still has a big patch of juice. it is just very unpleasant to see employee only care about pretense, and when caught and confronted for once, inverting situations. she should never go that angle to any customer, it was inappropriate, then cry victim to escape accountability of previous attacks, unwilling to take a second look at what she said to a customer in the first place. This is how any business lose customers, the horrific self absorbed employees that must be right and put themselves above others and assuming everyone is taking advantage of them or the system, for a $9 drink! Avoid this location as much as you can. There's better parking than the other one that's about 1.5 miles away but just go elsewhere and save yourself the headache.. Went in, was the first of 2 customers to order. Ordered 2 açaí bowls with a couple modifications, which I made as clear as I possibly could. Took a while to ring up the bowls, which wasn't a good sign, but we kept going. The guy behind me then ordered and put up such a stink that then both employees end up working on one smoothie for him, leaving the bowls about 30% done. Finally one employee (no name tag or I'd call it out..) went back to making the bowls. About 15-20 min later (I could have made them in about 20% of the time...) he brings them to the service counter. I ask about the modifications. NEITHER were done. One was a request to put into the base blend. Nope. So he just says "I've got you" and adds both additions that I paid for on top. Completely disappointing. Zero efficiency. Slowest experience ever. Took about 40 min to get 2 açaí bowls. Seriously aggravating. Will avoid this location as much as possible. Or if I walk in and see that employee I'm walking out. read more
