They looked like a nice,cute, professionally run nail shop, but boy was I wrong. I booked my appointment two days in advance online for a builder gel manicure. It allowed me to book the reservation at 2:45 pm with Kendra Smith. When I get there right on time, I was informed that Kendra is not even a manicurist. I was told she was a pedicurist. Why in the world would they allow people to book with a pedicurist for a manicure? The young lady that greeted me looked at me almost like I was supposed to know this, it was my first time patronizing this business!! How was I to know that their website will allow you to book with the wrong person. That is their error, not mine. There was no apology made and I was told that I can wait until 3:45 PM ( a full hour for another manicurist to be available). I told the young lady that was completely unacceptable and unprofessional. She agreed it was unprofessional and that Kendra should have made her aware of my appointment , but she just left for the day, not even mentioning it. I was sitting there dumbfounded. Also, no concessions were made. Again, not even an apology or an alternative. I just left in frustration. I unfortunately wasted an hour of my day driving there for no reason. Do not go to this place of business as they are inconsiderate and horribly run.

I arrived about an hour before closing for an acrylic overlay. The salon was very busy, and I waited about 20 minutes before a nail technician began. She was initially very nice. I explained that I wanted a slim, tapered coffin shape with a natural look, rather than thick or bulky nails. I mentioned this more than once, and she reassured me that she understood. When she finished shaping my left hand, I could see that the nails were thicker and less tapered than I wanted. When she asked if everything was okay, I respectfully explained my concerns. The manager then came over, and instead of allowing me to explain, she repeatedly interrupted me and insisted that the nails were coffin-shaped. Her tone felt confrontational, and the exchange became uncomfortable enough that another customer beside me tried to console me. The manager told me someone else would fix my nails, but I would have to wait. She also offered to remove them so I could leave. I explained that I wanted the work corrected. I waited at least another 20 minutes, and by then the salon had closed. No one had come over to finish or correct my nails. I spoke with the front desk employee, who was kind, and suggested returning the next day since it was unclear how much longer I would be waiting. When I told the manager that, she demanded $70 if I left. I explained that the work still needed to be finished and that I was willing to return. She then told me that if I left without paying, I could never come back, that my name would be put on a list, and that they had me on camera. At that point, I was deeply uncomfortable and did not feel comfortable allowing her to touch my hands to remove the nails. I left and called the next day, asking to speak with an area manager. I made several attempts and left messages, but no one has returned my calls or addressed what happened. I understand that a busy salon near closing can be stressful. However, asking for the shape and thickness I requested should not result in being talked over, spoken to disrespectfully, or threatened with being banned. The treatment left me feeling humiliated and wondering whether racial profiling played a role. I cannot know the reason, but I know how I was treated. After so many previous visits, I am extremely disappointed, not only by that evening's experience, but also by the complete lack of follow-up. I gave management opportunities to address this privately before posting. Customers deserve to have their concerns heard and handled with respect.
