I was very hesistant on even going here to begin with. When i arrived i thought everything was going to be great. The look was clean, they were friendly, so what could possibly go wrong right? I asked for a mani pedi, in which i was told was 37 and up. Once i sat down to recieve the pedi i was asked to choose which pedi id like. I then chose the $22 classic which is what i recieved with gel polish. Went on to get my nails done and the shaping (coffin) was not to my liking, which i could deal with. I showed them a reference picture of what i wanted and they really did a great job on that. As i go to check out, the man charges me 45 for my nails and 37 for my toes (even after the fact we discussed the $22 classic). I still left a $7 tip but i know not to ever go back. read more

I have had my nails done at this nail salon once before, I liked the way my nails were done last time, it's close to where I live and the price is good, I was cut prior and did bleed on one finger but it was very small and considering everything I listed I thought I'd come back again. I wanted the same guy who had done my nails before to do them again as I liked his work, idk what happened but this time it was different. The first thing that happens is I ask him to cut my cuticles since they're bad, he sort of ignores me or maybe doesn't hear me but he did nothing until I asked him again and he says "oh okay" and proceed to cut them I've had my cuticles trimmed before, and it doesn't hurt since it's just the little extra skin and I have not bled from having my cuticles trimmed, but he was being so aggressive and going so fast! Not to toot my own hurt but I'm such a nice person that I rather deal with the pain than speak up because I don't want to make him uncomfortable, even though he's hurting me! I'm looking at my phone so he doesn't feel awkward but my finger starts stinging and throbbing, so I look at it and notice it's bleeding! That's when he acknowledges and says "oh sorry" and cleans it up with the towel that was there before I got there. The finger kept on bleeding so I finally mustered the courage to say something and the only thing I say is if I could go rinse the finger to get rid of the blood and apply some pressure to help it, but he just looks at me and proceeds to put some kind of liquid on the finger (not sure what it was but it burnt!) and wipes it off again, it looked really bad and gross! He proceeds to cut me in other areas while using the sanding machine thing, keeps on being aggressive even after my finger has already bleed and is now feeling super sensitive! I'm sitting there hoping this goes by quick so I can get out of there, the entire time he's sanding the nails, he's cutting my skin!! I'm feeling so disappointed at this point because I know if I was anyone else, most people would've said something or spoken up so I am mad at myself for not saying anything. Like I said Because I have worked in the service industry I try not to be a pain. He obviously notices my other fingers are bleeding a little bit and look cut up, and doesn't even try to be sensitive. I'm thinking to myself, just gotta sit through it because I guess it's normal to get cuts. IT IS NOT NORMAL and tends to only happen if the nail tech is rushing!! Which now makes sense. I hadn't gotten my nails done in a lonnngggg time. The last time I got them done was maybe two months ago and before that it had been years!! I used to have a lady who did an amazing job and she was the only person I went to but she no longer works at that nail spa so this is my first time in a long time to really start getting in the habit of getting my nails done regularly, unfortunately this is NOT the place and I will keep on having to look.... Not only that but I'm not too happy with my nails this time around either. Some are okay but some look like they're bent backwards! It's like he filed the nail too much in some areas that makes it look like the nail sticks out, I just hate that look and that was one of the biggest reasons why I had came back because he had left them just like I liked them, nice flat and even all of them. But this time some had more acrylic than others, and the consistency is just not there. I'm wondering if I caught him on a bad day. Regardless I had left him a 15 dollar tip the last time and my nails were 65. This time I left 10 on 55 but really wish I would've just left 5 because now I'm paying and tipping for nails I'm not happy with, cuts all over my nails and a possible nail infection. Maybe I'm paranoid about my index finger getting infected because it's still throbbing hours after leaving the nail salon and it's looking a little odd...The price is great but it's not worth the pain I had to endure. I'm just eager to get these nails off at least now I know better and will spend the extra $$ needed to be happy because you are not supposed to be cut while getting your nails done and it is not normal. He did a crappy job, a SLOPPY job (because there was acrylic all over my fingers) and worst of all I'm in pain. I will try and attach pics if it allows me to, but ladies I would not come here, I will not be returning either and hopefully my finger gets better because I would hate to have to file a complaint. also a little advice, if y'all are like me, scared to speak up, DONT! Speak up! You are paying and tipping for a service so it should be to your liking! Ps. It's kind of unprofessional how they will look at your hands, nails and start speaking in their language. I'm very picky about the nail shops that I go to but this place is a keeper! Great service, very personable and friendly & there was a large variety of colors including shellac to choose from. They offer water, soda or wine. My first time here - I had a major concern is that they weren't as efficient as I would have liked. I believe that the current owners took over this nail shop about a year ago. They currently have a few offers on Groupon & they mentioned that they want people living nearby in Spring to know that they're there. However, I believe that with the increased exposure, they need to be better prepared to handle the traffic that they may get. My sister and I got to our 3:00 appointment at 2:55 and left around 6:15. That's ridiculous. One reason is that there were only 2 people when we arrived (one was doing a pedicure & the other started on my nails while my sister waited). The owner's brother was late on arriving to the nail shop for our appointment. When a couple of ladies came in for a 4:00 appointment around 3:40, they weren't done with our nails yet. But, during our drying process, they began working on one of the ladies' manicures. Then they started on one of their pedicures before starting on my sister so she had to wait for a while which was upsetting. They started on the second lady's pedicure while I was supposed to be enjoying the hot towel part of the pedicure process. That part isn't supposed to last that long clearly but I stayed that way for 30+ minutes while they did the second ladies' pedicures. They eventually were done before my sister and I and we got there before them. It was ridiculous. They eventually apologized and gave us a coupon for our next visit. I already had the intention to return because overall, the quality of their work was good. Sooo I went back a second time. This time when I went, I arrived on time for my appointment and had NO issues. They were ready for me as soon as I walked in. They had a really pretty shellac color that was similar to what I found on Pinterest so I went with it. I've gotten so many compliments on the color. They are very accommodating and big on customer service. Someone came in close to closing time and they still took the customer. I've seen lots of nail shops turn people down so it was refreshing to see a nail shop with better service. read more

Okay so first they do not open at 9am, they open at 9:30. I got here this morning at 9:15 and then waited once I realized they didn't actually open until 9:30. No big deal. I continued to wait until 9:50 when someone finally showed up to open. She asked if I had an appointment, I said no, and she said "Oh someone has an appointment at 10:30". Okay, well I have been here since 9:15 to be here early since I figured it would be busy because of spring break. She said she would have to hurry... So then I asked her how much they charge for just the top clear coat of gel. She said it would be $20.00! For just the top clear coat?! She then persisted that I just get the entire shellac nails and why did I just want the top coat. I told her I only have $50 and I don't like the 20 layers of shellac because it peels my nails off. That conversation just kind of ended. So, I asked her for the price from the website, the mani and pedi for $33, she said I needed a coupon. I told her I didn't have a coupon it was just the price on the website and she told me she's not the owner and she doesn't know what's on the website but that she would do that price for me. Cool, thank you. So we go through the pedicure process, she did a great job, we chit chatted and it was peaceful. About 10:30 the owner came in. So the girl started on my mani, she said "okay I'll do the the gel and everything for $40.00" Okay! Great! I can dig that. I had this really pretty light pink picked out for my mani and I set it right next to all of the equipment for the manicure, seemed pretty obvious to me in any language. So, she's doing my manicure, I'm watching the view and she is doing a great job cleaning up my cuticles and nail beds because they were terrible and I needed it. Then she pulls out the little light machine for the gel and brings over the gel clear coats. She started putting the gel clear coats on and I didn't really think of it until she told me to do the light 2 times and started cleaning off the top like in the last process of the shellac. I asked her, "what about my pink color?" She said no no no, then a Vietnamese word battle broke out and the owner came over saying "well that's what you agreed to" NO ITS NOT. I was under the impression that I was getting my pretty pink with the gel top coat mani and my pedi for $40.00. She talked AT me about how they just bought the business 6-8 months ago and can't access the website, that they have a groupon going on but do not recognize the specials on the website... Okaaay, and why is that my fault? She said she knew what I was asking for and they don't have that there. SO IF YOU KNEW WHAT I WAS ASKING FOR WHY DIDNT YOU INTERVENE AND EXPLAIN THAT TO ME BEFORE I THOUGHT I WAS GETTING WHAT I WANTED FOR THE $40.00?! She said it was not her fault that there was a miscommunication because the girls English wasn't that good and she couldn't explain to me that I was NOT getting what I wanted.... Seriously?!? Seriously! So, in the end I told her I needed to leave and get out of there quickly because I was very frustrated that I had been there since 9:15 waiting, she said "this is the second time your bringing up the time, our door says 9:30, you need to go off Yelp not the website" I then proceeded to inform her that it WAS Yelp where it said they opened at 9:00am and that I submitted a time correction for them. I told her I was leaving very unhappy and would not return and would leave a review. I feel like if you are a new owner the least you could do is ensure your customers are leaving at least somewhat satisfied and not left feeling belittled and robbed. I paid my $40, but I will absolutely not be back. Here's the thing, there are nail salons on every corner, you are not irreplaceable. Go some where else. read more
