I arrived at approximately 6:20 PM, and the business closes at 7:00 PM. Normally, there's someone at the front desk who greets customers and asks what service they're there for. Today, I walked in and wasn't acknowledged by anyone. There was no greeting, no eye contact, and no one asked if I needed assistance. There were only two other customers receiving services, but every beautician completely ignored me. One employee was even doing her own makeup instead of acknowledging that I had walked in. After standing there for several minutes without anyone speaking to me, I decided to leave. As a returning customer, I expected at least a simple "Hello, we'll be with you shortly." Being completely ignored made me feel unwelcome and unappreciated. Sadly, after this experience, I don't think I'll be coming back.

It was an eyebrow wax so it was pretty fast, but she still did a good job. The center is very clean and the young lady at the front desk was warm in her reception. The only thing I do not like about EWC, and several other service-based places is when they ask you out loud if you want to leave a tip. That is a decision for me to make and the fact that the majority of people already leave a tip means we don't need a reminder. It's extremely uncomfortable and unnecessary.

It was a little hard to find but her daughter guided me there on the phone while I was lost. Initially it was a little off putting as I thought they might not be as sanitary because the wax was dark colored. I later found out she doesn't use wax but sugar. This process reduces irritation to the skin & is less painful. In my 35 years of life, I have only been waxed once when I was 19 for a pool party. I vowed never to do it again because of all the pain & skin irritation I experienced afterwards. There was minimal pain & absolutely no skin issues after this procedures.
