At that point, it was time to find a new place for the long term. Bare Necessities checks all the boxes for me. Professionals, convenient location, convenient appointment times, and availability for scheduling. I have had appointments with both Linh and more recently, Christiane. Both have been excellent and have set my mind at ease. I've known friends with bad experiences at other places, which always makes me uneasy trying someone new. But I've definitely been happy here. Oh and pricing is also on point--very comparable with what I've historically paid. I would definitely recommend coming here, as there are no downsides.

When I got there I explained to her I wanted to focus more on extractions (blackheads). She did the polish, left for 10mins, came back washed off, did a scrub which felt great, did extractions for less than 1 min and not deep at all. Left another type of polish/ mash about another 10 minutes and came back to wash off and I was done.

I'd been a customer for almost 11 years but they shifted from prioritizing their clients, to being more concerned about saving money, so I left. However, because this was a free gift, I needed to think of advantage of it. My appointment was for 5:45pm but I got there around 5:25pm. Luckily, my waxer was able to take me at about 5:30pm. It was an eyebrow wax so it was pretty fast, but she still did a good job. The center is very clean and the young lady at the front desk was warm in her reception. The only thing I do not like about EWC, and several other service-based places is when they ask you out loud if you want to leave a tip. That is a decision for me to make and the fact that the majority of people already leave a tip means we don't need a reminder. It's extremely uncomfortable and unnecessary.

It was a little hard to find but her daughter guided me there on the phone while I was lost. Initially it was a little off putting as I thought they might not be as sanitary because the wax was dark colored. I later found out she doesn't use wax but sugar. This process reduces irritation to the skin & is less painful. In my 35 years of life, I have only been waxed once when I was 19 for a pool party. I vowed never to do it again because of all the pain & skin irritation I experienced afterwards. There was minimal pain & absolutely no skin issues after this procedures. I was in & out in less than 20mins. Highly recommend, especially for avid waxers. ENTER FREELY, they've been Approved:)

The shop is clean but there's no extra frills to distract you like at other shops. They have a few chairs and maybe 3-4 techs working at a time. They offer you a beverage and get right to business. Each time I'm left feeling good because the experience is great. Their prices are similar to old times ($40- gel pedicure and $25- regular manicure). If you're looking for a shop, check them out!
