BEST FACIAL I EVER GOTTEN! Samar did such an amazing job today. Im not sure which exact facial I got but I did a deep cleanse, brightening mask and extractions with the vibrating spatula tool. Just got a facial here and from the moment I walked in everything was perfect and smelled good. I got Samir as my esthetician and she was perfect as well, she recommended me everything I needed, made me feel comfortable, and after she was finished with me my skin was glowing. Not only that but I felt like she was my friend/therapist because she listened to me talk about how I felt burnt out. After releasing that stress, my mental health and skin instantly felt better. I really liked her because she made everything seem natural and not like she was just forced to do her job just to get it over with. Stephanie is awesome. I had my first epidermal leveling facial (mini) with her and even on one session my face got so much cleaner. I never really had face troubles really however I have been experiencing the tiny bumps on my forehead and sometimes on my cheeks which has been bothering me so bad. I'm glad I decided to give facial another try. I'm new to facials and unlike the other place I went, bare necessities spa made me feel like they care about me/my skin and was not salesy at all. Stephanie actually showed me what she did after my treatment and she recommended this product (photo below) is what she used. This product smells so good and it's gentle yet effective on my skin. My skin is a bit sensitive and I was worried at first, but throughout the treatments, my skin didn't get red or flare up, and it didn't hurt afterwards - which I know she knew what she was doing. They have a lot of different facials but I think if you have small tiny areas trapped in dirt and want to take those all out, epidermal leveling facial is the perfect one. After researching a place to experience my FIRST bikini wax, Bare Necessities seemed to be the perfect place. I booked my appointment originally at the Richmond location but had to last-minute reschedule due to a work conflict. They easily got me in at the Voss location. When I walked in, there was no one at the front desk but I was shortly greeted and checked in. She even suggested that I "settle up" before my appointment so that I could just leave afterwards - which at first seemed sweet, but made more sense at the end of my wax. Diana was my esthetician and did an AMAZING job coaching me through my first wax. I felt comfortable and she did wonderfully - I'm super happy with the work she did and would specifically give her 5 stars. Towards the end of my appointment (I had an in-betweenie and a bikini facial scheduled afterwards), I noticed that the music stopped playing while I still had the mask on. As someone who used to work in retail, I know that it is noticeable to customers - and experienced a little awkwardness - and to my surprise, a few minutes later, the front desk woman knocked on the door and without any indication from me OR Diana, opened up the door to peek in. She must have been checking for Diana and thought I had left, because she was a bit surprised and closed the door. At that moment, it all made sense - the checking out before my appointment (and leaving a tip before my service) and the music stopping - all an indication that it was the end of the night and she was ready to leave. I felt rushed leaving, although it was 7:30 and the business closes at 8:00 PM. read more

From Stella customer service by Emma at the front desk both on the phone and in person at check-in to Jess's extreme attention to detail on my brows, I'm so relieved to have found my new place for brow waxing! Jess made me feel heard of what I liked and didn't like of my brow shape and showed me progress along the way.
