I recently went for a lash lift! The tech was so informative, as I let her know my past experience, and what I normally get in addition to what I am looking for as a result. I got the traditional lash lift, sat for 30 minutes and the lash lift only lasted one week, when I've had them done in the past at other lash salons and they last me 6 weeks without me ever using a lash curler. The lashes on day two required me to use a lash curler to try to adhance them, but the whole point of a lash lift is to be able to have the adhancement already done. I will be trying them out once more to see if a different tech will leave the solution on longer. read more

Did another lash lift and same great experience but this time around it's a 5/5. They are very honest and gives their recommendations on several services I was looking to get. I was going to get a keratin lash lift which is over $100 but after speaking to my tech she gave me the pros and cons of the regular vs keratin. I was also going to get a brow lamination which is also over $100 and end up not getting it. My brows are not thick or full enough to get that feathery look I was hoping to get. I have some sparse areas and it will not look good or bare in that area. So total was gonna be $230, but left spending $76 plus tips for just a regular lash lift. I LOVED THIS PLACE!! All the ladies that worked there seemed really outgoing and friendly, but Makayla did my lashes and she was Great (big G). She was very gentle, her table is super comfy, and what I really liked is that she or the whole wink team maybe; they write notes about what kind of eyelash set you got for future reference for whenever you go back. I went in for a super full lash. The place is nice, clean and people were nice but the overall result was horrible. I've reached out requesting to talk to management to find out if what I had was normal but I have never gotten a call back. The service was over 2 hours, I was excited, and left without looking at my lashes due to being there for so long. When I saw my lashes my first reaction was "this took two hours?!" I've had lash extensions a few times and I have never been so disappointed in the result. They almost looked like my natural lashes your couldn't even tell. I could see my natural lashes as I only had 1 lash on the corner of my eye! I was told they'd lash 90% of the lashes but for two hours i was expecting to notice a difference and for the price. It has been 5 days and there were such a lack of lashes that I lost half the set in just 2 days. I've taken pictures the first one was the result of just have long them done, to the 2nd day and last one 5th day where they are all gone. Such a waste of money. read more

I had a great experience at wink lash bar! I did quite a bit of research before deciding on wink for a lash lift. They have reasonable prices ($75 for a lift which is about the same if not cheaper pricing compared to other places) and wonderful reviews so I took a chance and glad I did! My technician was really helpful and walked me through the process and explained a lot to me. I had mentioned having a possible sensitivity to the product and she went out of her way to go compare all the ingredients to make sure it would be okay to move forwards. It was fast, painless process and the results are wonderful! Even a month out my lashes are still lifted nicely. read more

Earlier this week I went in for an appointment to get my brows/face waxed and Yolanda helped me get that boost I needed to get lash extensions for my very first time for my birthday. The next day I went in for my lash appointment and I was a bit nervous, but ,Khanh, my lash tech made me feel at ease. She was super sweet and very informative. I was always unsure of getting my lashes done since I was afraid they would look extremely fake (I love more of a natural/soft glam look). However, Khanh was able to achieve that perfect look for me and I am absolutely in love with my lashes! Now with my wax and lashes, I feel so confident and beautiful for my birthday!!! Updated review: After giving them a second shot...they knocked it out of the ballpark! Happy with their work this time around. As I experienced before, they gave me a wealth of info. ---- Two stars because they were super informative and friendly. They also make a point of washing their hands before every session. But...about two hours worth of work and, in my opinion, way too much money later...incomplete lashes. She didn't go all the way to the end of my lash line. I came back the next day for an additional hour with a different technician to get it fixed. I don't think They looked very full. El sigh. read more

I still love this place! The staff here are outstanding, friendly & the best you will find in Houston. Dulce keeps my lashes looking beautiful! She is very knowledgeable & always keeping up with the latest techniques. She's fun to chat with whilst she works her magic or when you don't feel like talking she quietly works while you take a nap. We usually chat a bit before I fall asleep, occasionally waking myself up snoring. Lovely. I decided to try Ombre brows (also know as powdered brows). It's different from microblading & less invasive. Instead of making cuts in the skin (which leads to scarring) & adding the pigment in, Ombre is a technique much like a tattoo; pigment is deposited into the skin in hundreds of tiny dots leaving a more natural look. Yolanda was my stylist & I love her! Nice personality, extremely professional & friendly. She explained every step she was going to do. She started by measuring my eyebrows to eyes & with a brow pencil drew an outline of the shape she felt was flattering for my face. Once this was done, I sat up & looked in the mirror. She explained further how she was going to shade the brows & made sure that I was comfortable with what she wanted to do. She will not start the procedure until you are completely in agreement. Once the outline was done, numbing cream was put on so the rest of the procedure was a bit more comfortable. The sensation I felt was kinda like being touched by a live wire to a rubberband snapping on the skin. She checked on me during the procedure & added numbing cream along the way to make the experience as comfortable as possible. The end result looks FABULOUS! She gave me post care instructions written for my skin type & how my skin accepted the pigment. They look bold right now (as expected) but the color will tame over the next few days/weeks. A post procedure appointment was made for a 6 week touch-up. After that? I'll have lovely brows for up to 2 years. This will definitely cut down on my makeup prep time! Today was the first time I have ever done anything to my lashes and since theyre already pretty long I came in for a lift so I could stop getting mascara smudges on my glasses and I am in LOVE!! Not only is this place super cute but Sara made my experience super chill, she didnt seem to mind that I was asking about each step she was taking which was nice. My fiance loved my lashes he noticed right away since he thought I was just wearing super natural mascara. It really opened up my eyes a lot more. Every little step is done with such care and attention. This is so important to me, given the delicate area of an eye. The treatment is so relaxing, that I practically fall asleep! I receive so many compliments on my lashes! To me, they are not overly exaggerated, which is exactly what I wanted! However, I know that they are capable of adding more, if I need them to do so. I went for lashes and eyebrow lamination/tint about a week ago. I decided to wait on reviewing so that I could see how my lashes held up. The girl that did my lashes took forever and ran out of time so the front desk person said that if I wanted her to finish I would have to pay extra. This also meant I would have to forgo my brow service. The lash girl apologized over and over and said she's "slow" at doing individual lashes and recommended I see someone else there next time that is faster, they both offered a couple of names. I don't understand why I would have to be penalized and pay extra when the lash technician admitted that she's very slow... that's makes zero sense. I've been getting lashes close to 15 years and I've never heard of anything like this. I'm one week out now and my lashes look very sparse. Waste of money and time. On the positive side, the eyebrows were fabulous I loved them. And the lash technician was friendly. read more

If you are wanting quality in terms of service and experience, this would be the place to go. I have just had my very first set of lashes applied and I put a lot of time reading about places, comparing pricing and then procrastinated for a while. After getting an email about a small promotion, I decided that was my sign to get a move on and booked an appointment. So glad I did. The first day I went, I had a rough morning, some puppy trouble, and had been crying from the night before. My eyes were a bit puffy, not irritated, but puffy. I walked in and was greeted and so I asked if it would be ok to still get my lashes done. I love and respect the honesty of both staff, they did not recommend I proceed as the adhesive may have been irritating to me. They let me reschedule. But, before leaving, I was offered a mimosa, which I graciously accepted and filled out paperwork. Kahn sat down with me and swapped stories about life and puppies and made my morning a bit better. It was an extra step that she did not have to do. I so appreciate that!! When I showed up the next day, I waited for about 5 mins, and got comfy in a room with Kahn. I used the fuzzy blanket to keep warm and she gently started applying my lashes. She explained everything very well, leaving me with no questions. I fell asleep several times, embarrassing myself with my little snores, but in my defense, it's so cozy!! When she was done, I was so pleased. They looked better than I had imagined, but were exactly what I hoped for. I left the decision making up to Kahn and she nailed it. I do wear glasses and contacts, so she took that into consideration and made the best choice for me. I am not sure about the membership just yet, but it may be the best deal. 08/19/18 Since it's only been a day I can't update my review, I can only edit. But my review has gone from 3 stars to 5 stars simply because I was taken aback by the customer service. As soon as I posted about my experience Susan reached out to me almost immediately and apologized that I didn't like my lashes and wanted me to come in for a fix. She told me she wanted me to have lashes that I love. I felt like she genuinely cared that I got the look I wanted, and as a customer I really appreciated that. I came back today to get the lashes with the white glue removed with the same technician Joanie, which she apologized for missing yesterday, and we talked through the look that I was searching for - she recommended "Volume" lashes that were a little shorter than the ones I have, mixed in with the "Classic" lashes should be more suited to what I'm searching for. She filled in my lashes a little more as well which I am happy about because they definitely look more full! -------------------------------------------- 08/18/18 Normally I've been getting my lashes done by an awesome friend of mine - but lately she's been busy so I needed to find an alternative lash place. The reviews here were great and it was only 5 minutes away from where I live. So I booked an appointment for a full set. I usually get "natural" lashes because that's what my friend recommends for me so that's what I told my eyelash technician Joanie. The process was easy and nice, she had to remove my existing lashes and then put the full set on. Overall a smooth process that I felt deserved 5 stars. When I was done I looked in the mirror across from the table I was laying on and thought they looked great. Signed up for the membership and scheduled my refill appointment for 3 weeks from now. It wasn't until I got home and really looked at them I was disappointed in the job done. They look thin, wispy, and stringy - not full at all compared to what I'm used to getting. I have had at least 5 lashes already fall out when brushing them... also there is white, I'm assuming glue, caked to 3 of the lashes on my left eye that I cannot get off of the extensions so I kinda look ridiculous. I returned here for a second time. I got an eyebrow tint and shape. The girl was working on her own eyebrow tint while working on mine. She seemed more focused on herself than me. . . Or maybe just distracted. One of my eyebrows only Had the tint on for like 3 min and the other one had it on for like 10. The one for 3 was lighter and had a different shape and the one for 10 was darker. I thought it looked fine while there because it's dark lighting so I couldn't tell. When I got home my family laughed because it was noticeable that one eye brow looked darker/different than the other. I know eye brows are sisters not twins but this was more like step sisters lol I'll find another place to try. The first time I went I liked it! maybe it was just an off day but for 35 dollars and a poor job, it was enough to have me not want to return anytime soon. The girl was nice and I think she was good but she just seemed distracted and unprofessional. Also, I would have gone back to get it fixed but I was going out of town.. and I lost trust in them so I was worried they would make it worse. read more

The owner worked me in for a fill the day before Xmas eve, but when I got there she said I needed much more than a fill... Unfortunately, I had to have my lashes removed and replaced. For my first visit I didn't know what to expect but Delaney walked me through the whole process and made me feel comfortable every step of the way. It didn't take long for me to get used to my lashes and after a week I was hooked! I should've started getting lashes years ago,but I digress. Really loved the girl who did my brows. I cant remember her name but she is the only one who does brows. She's very educated and can articulate her knowledge well. She also has a very good eye. I had my brows down another place when I noticed one of my eye brows wasn't quiet matching up to the other. It's was very slight so hard to notice. Love this place! I kept going back and forth of whether or not to get eyelash extensions before my wedding or do falsies. I was afraid of having an allergic reaction or something going wrong. Well I decided to go ahead and take the plunge, and I don't regret it at all! Jonee did my lashes-she is amazing. She worked with my on length and even recommended a less strong glue which my eyelids did great with - no swelling or allergic reactions. I continue to see jonee since the wedding because I loved them so much. However, if any brides are contemplating - my recommendation is to get them. They feel and look way more natural than falsies and don't tire your eyelids (I had a sleepy eye in my bridals because the falsies were too heavy). Def recommend jonee - she is great.
