Found this gem the week of my wedding when I was panicking to find somewhere for a Brazilian Wax. The nail tech got a little ambitious, so I called to cancel & she agreed to wait. It was a little hard to find but her daughter guided me there on the phone while I was lost. Initially it was a little off putting as I thought they might not be as sanitary because the wax was dark colored. I later found out she doesn't use wax but sugar. This process reduces irritation to the skin & is less painful. In my 35 years of life, I have only been waxed once when I was 19 for a pool party. I vowed never to do it again because of all the pain & skin irritation I experienced afterwards. There was minimal pain & absolutely no skin issues after this procedures. I was in & out in less than 20mins. Highly recommend, especially for avid waxers. ENTER FREELY, they've been Approved:) read more

Just wanted to update that I got the absolute WORST ingrowns of all time after coming here- on legs and Brazilian area. This had never been an issue before. 2 years later I'm still dealing with the dark scarring from them. When I reflect upon my experience here, I initially dismissed how unsanitary the room was but I feel it's worth mentioning now. I had seen all the good reviews before going, and dismissed it while I was there, and I was in and out so quickly and I was mostly hairless after, so at FIRST I was like ok well she did a good job and it was fast. However the ingrowns nightmare came for me soon after despite me doing what I always do to prevent it, and years later I'm still embarrassed by the scars it left. read more

Forgot to make an update from the last time I went, but the second time experience was much better. The waxing technique is also amazing, quick and painless. read more

I had a wonderful experience, my first time trying sugaring felt very comfortable and she was very kind I will absolutely be back! #snatched read more

This was my first experience waxing down there, and it went so well! I've always wanted to, but have been terrified of the horror stories and my sensitive skin. I found her place through yelp and booked an appointment because of the good reviews. I had never heard of sugaring, so after I booked the appointment, I was researching sugaring vs. hard wax and was hoping I made the right decision. It seems like it as I was reading it lasts longer, gentler, and only pulls on hair (not skin). I was so scared and nervous, but it really didnt hurt. Getting my upper lip and eyebrows threaded hurts worse! Very minimal pain when she pulls. Martha was very sweet and explained everything she was doing. read more

I never really knew the difference between regular wax and sugar wax and Martha explained the difference to me and I feel the difference! Brazilian waxes are WAYYYY LESSS painful now and she made my brazilian wax experience really comfortable! read more

Martha is amazing!!! I have gone to her for years, and she's fantastic. The place is clean, and the smocks are usually so fun!

I used to get waxed at another place and realized that my ingrowns kept coming back. I started to think that my skin was sensitive to the wax and I needed a more organic way to get waxed .. that's when I found Martha. She has been AMAZING ! she was very knowledgeable in what was happening under my skin and was able to clear all my ingrowns. She has been a blessing for sure! Would never go back to waxing again! Always going to do sugaring from now on. Would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone! read more

Martha is the truth. I am so happy to be a Yelpee otherwise I would've never found her. She doesn't have a website and doesn't want the headache of one. The reviews are correct, she has her own technique. She makes and uses her own sugar wax. This was damn near painless. I don't actually know if I ever felt pain during the wax. That's never happened before. This is the spot for Brazilians in Houston. read more

Great waxing experience! I've had several waxes, but The Beauty Spring has been the best, by far! The sugaring was much more comfortable than regular wax. She was patient and got as many hairs as possible, even the baby hairs. And she DIDN'T try to upsell me expensive serum or a package when I was finished. I'd recommend in a heartbeat. Very professional and fair prices. read more

Martha is amazing! She makes you feel super relaxed and comfortable. The sugaring did not hurt at all. I found my new hair removal place!

Y'all, I was blown away by Martha's service! I have had laser hair removal previously and needed a touch up. I have never tried sugaring before because I had some really awful experiences with waxing in the past due to sensitive skin. Well I will never go back to waxing- sugaring is amazing and Martha makes you feel at ease! Completely happy with how it turned out and will be back and loyal customer. Thank you again!! read more

WOW! This may have just been the quickest, easiest, and most painless Brazilian wax experience I've had. I have been getting waxed since 2015 and sugared since 2016 but I've never had an experience that was this smooth. I'm honestly upset that I haven't discovered this place sooner. Martha was amazing. It's very apparent that she is extremely knowledgeable about sugaring. Also very affordable prices and comparable to most established sugaring spots. I will never go to another wax place again! read more

My first introduction to sugar wax was with Martha. I found her on Yelp right before the pandemic and was able to get in before all of the shut downs. She makes you feel comfortable, gives great skin maintenance advice and is super sweet. I'll never go back to regular wax. Sugar wax is far less painful and the results last longer and the skin is softer. read more

I've been getting a bikini wax for a couple of years now. I was only going to European wax center and let's just say, NEVER AGAIN. A colleague of mine introduced me to The Beauty Spring and am very thankful that she did. Martha knows exactly what's she's doing and gives you the best advice and tips for further care. European wax leaves my area irritated and burning. Martha's sugar wax does NOT. I am so so happy I came to her. Highly recommend!!! read more

I was recommended The Beauty Spring by a friend, and I couldn't be happier! My friend recommended Martha because she stopped getting in grown hairs when doing sugaring with Martha. I called, made an appointment, and luckily she had an open spot that same day. It took about 15 minutes total to do a Brazilian, and she was thorough with explaining what she was going to do, and how to put myself in a hair growth cycle. I was so distracted with our conversation I didn't even notice I was done. read more

I got a Brazilian from Martha a couple months ago and it was one of the best experiences! Martha is so great to interact with and definitely knows what she's doing! She makes the sugar wax herself too and uses chemical-free products. She has such a cool story too! I'll definitely go to her as long as I live in Houston. Let's not forget how affordable her services are too. Can't beat great quality, great service and affordability. read more

Love love love getting waxed here! Martha is professional and gentle. The results are amazing and I couldn't imagine going anywhere else!

Martha is my to-go to lady with waxing. I've tried a couple of sugar waxing places if she doesn't have any availability on days I really need it, and she's the best one of all the places I've been to. I rather wait than have someone do my waxing now. And not to mention her pricing are reasonable. read more

It was my first time trying sugar waxing, and Mary and Martha did such an amazing job. They were so nice and made me feel comfortable ... my experience wasn't painful whatsoever 1000 times better than regular wax. I absolutely loved it and recommend it to those who have low pain tolerance!! read more

Martha is thoughtful and caring. She really put me at ease before getting the wax done. Additionally, the whole process was quick, easy, and nowhere near as painful as I thought it would be. Random sidenote: upon chatting with her, I found out that she is a retired mechanical engineer. How cool is that!?! I will definitely be back! read more

I've been waxing regularly for a little over a year now and have always wanted to try sugaring. Took a chance and decided to go for it. So happy I found Martha! She is so knowledgeable about sugaring and the recovery process and also gave me some excellent tips about dealing with ingrowns that I've never heard anywhere else! She also has the best priced sugaring I've seen so far. Most other places I looked into were charging $80+, but Martha charges a fraction of that! Her sweet daughter was working the front desk area, and was also very helpful when I couldn't find the spa location. Would definitely recommend! read more

I loved it! For my first time she was very nice and explained everything! Not as painful as it seems and it was very quick! Will definitely come back again! read more

Martha is awesome and makes you feel so comfortable!!! Couldn't choose a better place.

VERY impressed with Martha! She is extremely kind and personable. I just moved to Texas and was trying to find a place to go for a Brazilian wax. She was recommended to me by a friend and I am so glad. She's very knowledgeable about hair growth and the waxing process and she makes you feel very comfortable. Unbeatable price and the sugar wax also hurts a lot less than regular wax. read more

I hated getting bikini waxed until Martha! She was very patience regardless of my jumps. I loved how Martha explained the benefits of sugar wax and she was right! Little pain. No bumps! No cuts! Under 15 minutes! read more

Such a great experience!!!!! Love this place!! Martha makes you feel so comfortable!!

I cannot say ENOUGH good things about this place. The first few times I went was for a Brazilian, and I had never had one before so I was nervous. Not only does Martha (the owner) make you feel comfortable, she also does such a good job that it's about as painless as a Brazilian could be. She makes her own sugar wax and does a fantastic job. I recently visited Martha for a facial, and again - she did a fantastic job. I have very red and irrtated skin, so she did a treatment that is specifically for my skin type and it looks so much better now. She was flexible too - typically I have make up on when I see her and she had no idea that my skin was so red. She changed her treatment plan on the spot and did a really good job. A brazilian is only $40 and my 1.5 hour facial was $65. Not only is it cheap, it's worth it! Don't be fooled by the fact that this place is in a somewhat ghetto looking shopping center - it's worth every penny! read more

Martha has a customer for life. I am literally never going anywhere else. My Brazilian was quick and caused minimal discomfort. Sugar is the way to go for any hair removal! I love it here ! See you in 6 weeks! read more

Martha is phenomenal, I would suggest for anyone looking for great service and a job well done to try sugaring. She makes you feel comfortable and yes you feel tense at first but it all goes away as the session continues on. I get my airports and Brazilian area completely done, and you feel great afterwards. And you begin tell the difference after a couple sessions the change in your hair texture when it starts to go grow back it's softer and finer. This process is less tense on your hair follicles compared you common waxing methods. Check out Mrs. Martha our you will not be disappointed!!! She's awesome!!! read more

Wow I can't believe how painless this sugaring experience was. So glad I found this place. She was very knowledgeable and sweet. This will be my new place for sugaring. read more

Martha is amazing at what she does! Quick responses to scheduling appointments. She great explaining everything and the sugaring is practically pain free. read more

I had my first appointment with Martha today for a full face sugaring. I will admit that I was a little on edge walking in, but she is so knowledgeable, it's very comforting. She walked me through all of the steps and was very open with me about everything she was doing. My skin is very sensitive and I usually leave waxing appointments with my face bright red and covered in small welts. Martha stopped multiple times to ask how I'm doing and to check on my skin. I will definitely be coming back to her in 3-4 weeks for my next session. She is so thorough. I am so very pleased! Thank you, Martha! ** Update** My skin did end up having some bumps and redness, but that's just my skin! I called Martha and she was very helpful. She provided me with suggestions on what to do and invites me back for her to apply a calming mask to help soothe and condition my skin. Thanks again, Martha! You truly went above and beyond to make my skin feel better! read more

Martha was hands down great. She was so educational on what to do and not do. There's a reason why she's been doing this for 24 years. I got a sugar Brazilian and she walked me through the steps as she did it. Very mom like approach which I appreciated. Recommend her and will definitely be back. read more

This place will get you right. I prefer sugaring for my waxes and now that I have moved I was on the hunt for a good waxer. Instead I found a great one, I've been waxed by both ladies and am so happy with the results of both of the Brazilians. They both make you feel very comfortable and are kind and also encouraging in conversations. Just an all around great experience. They seem to really care about what they're doing. Would recommend for anyone looking for a good wax. read more

Love this place great prices clean quality work I go here often for my Brazilian! Sge gets everything n I mean everything

Feel in love with Martha instantly. The most painless hair removal experience ever! Now don't get me wrong there is still a slight pain but nothing compared to waxing. Martha took the time to explain why I was experiencing such bad ingrown hairs and the techniques I need to take to prevent them. Now stop reading and book your appt! I promise you won't regret it. read more
