Ann is so amazing and sweet everybody there is very sweet and they always cater to me and always listen to my wishes for what I want for my nails. I recently went and got a pedicure. I hadn't been there in a little while, and I had a broken toenail and and was able to fix it. The acrylic on each toe was seven dollars for each toe, which isn't too bad to fix a broken toenail. I got the pedicure which was $35 on top of French tip and gel polish. The total came out to about $75 not including tip but for the service and the look of my nails I'd say it was totally worth it. read more

Just left Post Oak Nail Salon and I'm really disappointed in the lack of professionalism and customer service. From the very moment I sat down to get my mani& pedi-- the nail technicians , Linh and Lilly, started to talk about me (how cheap I am to choose the lowest priced service; the size of my pregnancy bump.. etc). They assumed i don't understand Vietnamese. Big mistake, but I played along and bit my tongue. The pedi with Lily ended first. Linh was finishing my mani when I noticed my thumb had some fuzz stuck. I asked her if she could please fix it. Well she calls Lily over and, in Vietnamese, tells her I'm being difficult over something tiny. Oh in that moment--I spoke up in Vietnamese and asked her "excuse me, ma'am? I'm being what? Difficult?" Oooh her demeanor changed instantly. When I paid, I let the front desk know what happened. There's really no reason you should be talking smack when someone comes in to get pampered and paying you for a service. read more

One of the worst experiences I have ever had. The nail tech actually was so kind. I went yesterday around 4:30 pm to get a dip manicure. I requested funny bunny and have used this color for over 15 years. The technician grabbed a color but I noticed it wasn't what I chose. She insisted it was correct. At the conclusion of my service I again said it wasn't the right color but unfortunately needed to leave for a religious holiday get together . This morning I called and explained the situation and they told me to come in around 2:30 and they would take the color off and re do it. Upon arriving, I spoke to the manager who told me it was the right color. It is not and she insisted and told me they could refund me if they took the nails off. I disputed the charge. It was a busy Sunday afternoon due to Vday on Monday and Super Bowl Sunday. Customer service was still outstanding and I only waited about 10-20 minutes which was expected . Ok but not all that great unfortunately. The place was empty on a Tuesday afternoon which should have been a red flag because every other place I called was booked. They never offered a beverage, maybe I'm spoiled but I'm used to nail salons offering me something to drink. My nail tech was a very nice girl but unfortunately my nails ended up being kind of subpar and this is with me being vigilant about them, watching each step of the process. Some nails are slanted at the end, some are different lengths, some the polish is streaky but they're fine, not good or awful but they're tolerable. Also, I was charged extra for the length I got which was really surprising. I've been getting my acrylics done for over a decade and never saw an extra charge added for these length of nails. I understand an extra charge for length but these simply were not long. It's ok, every business chooses their prices differently but this just caught me off guard. All in all, it's average. I would go again if I had to, but they aren't my cup of tea. read more

So I just finished my pedicure with Tammy and the outcome was pretty good, not the best. As far as service I always get good service and I get there early enough to avoid the riff raft. The only thing different today was that it was a clear segregation, the white people on one side and the black and brown on the other. The white people I noticed got their top technicians and the black and brown side got the technicians that did decent work. What's up with that? Do NOT come here especially if ingrown toenails are an issue for you. I get my ingrown toenails taken out ever 6 to 8 weeks without a problem during my pedicure. Came here and the lady did not know what she was doing. Asked for someone else to try because it hurt so much and the next lady still could not do it right. Talked to the man manager and he was nice about no making me pay for the pedicure, however this should have never happened. Went home and couldn't sleep at all because I was in so much pain. Came back the next day and talked to the lady manager who would not touch my toe due to how swollen and red (and probably infected) it is because they left the ingrown in there. The vibe was fine, I asked for a gel removal and a manicure with regular polish, it was so rushed and the guy kept getting up and attending other customers, then he when on the phone while he was using the drill to remove the gel and it was all so messy. Been in Houston for 6 months and this is the only place I will go to in the Galleria/Post Oak area because of how friendly and consistent both Hana and Anna are as nail artists. I've already tried 3 other salons in the area and have always been disappointed. Hana always does my pedicure (she also does gel manis) so good that it lasts a month. And Hana's foot massages are to die for. Make sure to upgrade your pedi with her so you're getting the full 8 minutes of her wonderful foot and calf massages. For my hands, Anna does my dip twice a month and they are always so perfectly shaped, beautifully polished and shiny for a full two weeks, sometimes even three (if I don't have time to come in) weeks. Yelp needs to adjust their rating to allow for zero stars. I received a great pedicure from this place, but the technician that provided this service was stopped from completing my manicure. A manager of the salon abruptly directed her to go to meet another client and was replaced by a technician who appeared to be a manager. I could almost overlook her rudeness and the rough way she grabbed my hands IF my manicure was even passible. As you will see in the photos below, it was not. In addition, two of my fingers are red and swollen tonight. I don't think this business should be providing services to the public- especially during a pandemic. About 3 weeks ago, I had a full dip set done by Ann. She was incredibly meticulous about the install (2 hrs) as I had badly damaged, nubby nails with poor cuticle care and thin nail bed from previous installation at a different provider. She took in all my concerns and talked about her process as she worked. Ive had so many rushed meh-experiences. I did not think it would last, I was wrong. I have received so many compliments on this set in nude color. Today, pouring raining, She patiently completed a fill-in of the dip set. no lifting anywhere and my nails are growing. It's gorgeous! There was one nail tech working on 3 different people, yet they had like 5 staff members sitting around. I asked the lady if I could pay while I wait and she laughed and said no - I thought she was kidding but never allowed me to pay until she was done with other customers. They up charged from the manicure for gel,shape, ombré (that I did not receive), and if they ask if you want a massage and beware they will charge for the massage. They are extremely rude and never asked if I wanted anything to drink at all.
