Nonetheless, this place still gets the job done right. I walked in on a Sunday around 3:45 PM and, despite seeing about 3-4 people ahead of me, I was seated by 4:35 PM - not a bad wait at all! I opted for the wash, cut, and blowout, which came out to a total of $35. I was finished by 5:05 PM, so the service was quick and efficient. (You can call ahead and make an appointment as well). They also let you check the front and back of the hair with a mirror to make sure you like it. Open on Saturdays and Sunday - so perfect for those who are busy/don't have time on the weekdays and need something quick. A heads up: they only accept cash or Zelle, so come prepared. Street parking is available. Overall, If you want a simple, straightforward, budget-friendly haircut without the fancy extras, this salon is a solid choice.

So disappointed with this place. I made an appointment after I saw a Groupon for full highlights,…read morecut and conditioning treatment. They honored the Groupon price without me buying the voucher (there is an extra charge for hair past your shoulders.) My stylist was clearly new and inexperienced because she COMPLETELY botched my highlights. I'm talking bleach splotches, straight lines from brown to blonde, and brassy as all hell (see the photos) not to mention she bleached the end of my eyebrow!!! She didn't blow dry it so I didn't realize how bad it was until I got home. So, I went back the next day to give her another chance to fix it. She had a senior stylist give her some tips and directions and she completely ignored them. It was 6:00pm and she was CLEARLY tired and in a hurry to get home and really didn't care about my hair. I asked her if we should tone it to get rid of the brassy orange tint and she said no.... So once again, I left with a HORRIBLE color job that looked no better than it did before she "fixed it." When I called to speak to the manager the next morning, I sent her pictures and asked for another SENIOR stylist to fix it and she said no. She told me that this girl had done it and she had to fix it herself. I said absolutely not. I asked for my money back and they refunded me (minus the $20 tip I had initially given her) and was apologetic. So now, I have an appointment at Beautique to fix this girls mess. **At Beautique, the stylists have to apprentice for a full year so you KNOW they will be competent.** I'm sure there are some great stylists here but be sure to ask for an EXPERIENCED, SENIOR STYLIST!!!

Do you want to be treated like a celebrity with V.I.P treatment from start to finish? RUN to Salon…read morePer Se!!! Shoutout to my brother for his commendable review of this location! Also, I read the reviews before coming here (as I'm sure you are doing right now), and I want to start the review by saying that you definitely get what you pay for. The price tag is worth it! You are worth it! You deserve to splurge on yourself occasionally! My Experience: King was honest and kind during the initial consultation since I was a first-time customer. He went above and beyond my expectations from what I showed him of a previous haircut that I liked. He even explained how to style the haircut as he was finishing up the styling, which I thought was an extra step that he didn't need to do. For King's dedication and kindness, I tipped more than I usually do on a haircut. He did a superb job on my hair!! It's so cute and light now! A total transformation from my dull hair! (I think my last haircut was in early August or late July... but my hair looked like it had become lifeless in October haha) Andy was the person who washed my hair and he was incredibly thorough! I had such a pleasant experience just laying my head without any neck pain. He even asked me what my preferred water temperature was... This surprised me since no one has ever asked me that whenever I get my hair washed before my haircut! Wow, talk about high-quality service! Pros: + Ample parking space in front of the location + Quick and easy appointment phone call yesterday, 11/8, for a 11/9 appointment + Courtesy call given to you to check on your ETA (Prepare for Bellaire traffic and construction in the area when getting here!!!) + Workers are fluent in English + Celebrity treatment from the front desk to leaving the door... My haircut stylist, King, even opened the door for me as I left!! + Bougie interior vibe with whimsical background music + Clean... Andy kept sweeping any hair that fell on the floor. He was very attentive and ready for action! + Clean restroom (2 available) + Efficient and polite workers + No small talk (unless you initiate it)... which was a refreshing change compared to most Asian haircut places. Cons: - Pricey $80 women's haircut (without tip)... but I believe if anyone needs a much needed "hair TLC" then they deserve to splurge on themselves at Salon Per Se Bellaire! - My brother, who recommended the place to me, raved on about how they give you drinks... I only received a small water bottle and that was because I was coughing. I was grateful for the much needed water bottle rescue for my parched throat, but I was expecting a drinks menu (like at the nails salons so I was a bit disappointed). Overall, I will definitely return and recommend this Bellaire location to any of my friends who ask!
