At that point, it was time to find a new place for the long term. Bare Necessities checks all the boxes for me. Professionals, convenient location, convenient appointment times, and availability for scheduling. I have had appointments with both Linh and more recently, Christiane. Both have been excellent and have set my mind at ease. I've known friends with bad experiences at other places, which always makes me uneasy trying someone new. But I've definitely been happy here. Oh and pricing is also on point--very comparable with what I've historically paid. I would definitely recommend coming here, as there are no downsides.

There were only two other customers receiving services, but every beautician completely ignored me. One employee was even doing her own makeup instead of acknowledging that I had walked in. After standing there for several minutes without anyone speaking to me, I decided to leave. As a returning customer, I expected at least a simple "Hello, we'll be with you shortly." Being completely ignored made me feel unwelcome and unappreciated. Sadly, after this experience, I don't think I'll be coming back.

It was an eyebrow wax so it was pretty fast, but she still did a good job. The center is very clean and the young lady at the front desk was warm in her reception. The only thing I do not like about EWC, and several other service-based places is when they ask you out loud if you want to leave a tip. It was a little hard to find but her daughter guided me there on the phone while I was lost. Initially it was a little off putting as I thought they might not be as sanitary because the wax was dark colored. I later found out she doesn't use wax but sugar. This process reduces irritation to the skin & is less painful. In my 35 years of life, I have only been waxed once when I was 19 for a pool party. I vowed never to do it again because of all the pain & skin irritation I experienced afterwards. There was minimal pain & absolutely no skin issues after this procedures. However the ingrowns nightmare came for me soon after despite me doing what I always do to prevent it, and years later I'm still embarrassed by the scars it left.

Giving Luxury Nails and ILashes a Horrible Review - Again I went to get a pedicure. I refused to be done by Vera. She expressed that Anna isn't here to do pedicures. I asked her if she can do them, she said no, she's too busy. WTF?? This isn't the first time. Don't go to this nail shop. They have been very rude to customers ever since the last manager who left and was involved in prostitution out of the shop. I believe there is some kind of prostitution ring going on. Few things matter more than integrity. This business has built their entire reputation on the backs of their employees. Their employees they don't pay. Employees don't donate their time to your salon, they contribute their time for compensation. Work equals wadges. The salon owner does shady things under the table to avoid taxes, she will even brag about how she does it if you ask her. She's one step away from a salon with a back room if you know what I mean. My mom worked here and they wouldn't pay her. So we called the cops and before they could get here, they tossed all her stuff and her phone outside and grabbed her and tried to drag her on the floor to push her out. Don't come here yall. If they treating employees like this, they not gonna care about you or make things right with you. read more

I had to go out of my way THREE times during my birthday week to fix nails that should have lasted. Today was the third time I came in, and they still tried to charge me again. Instead of taking responsibility, they kept blaming me and saying I need to "be careful" over simple things like opening a door. That's ridiculous. The first and second time my nails broke, I actually bled and my skin was open and painful for days. Thankfully this time I didn't bleed, but that should never happen from a nail service. I even asked to just change the whole set so I wouldn't keep dealing with broken nails, and they refused unless I pay again. I've been getting long nails for years and this has NEVER happened. This is clearly cheap work and low-quality products. Complete waste of time, money, and energy. Never coming back.
