I called 35 minutes before the closed on a Thursday evening, stating I was 5 minutes away, and asked if there was any way they had time for an acrylic set (they close at 7:30pm). I was told they could see me, and was seated immediately upon arrival. I haven't gotten a manicure at a salon in probably 2 years, so when they asked if I wanted acrylic or dip, I told them I didn't know the difference, but pulled up a photo of what I wanted them to look like. She decided dip would be best for me. Jaycee offered me a beverage and then got to work. Her attention to detail was impeccable; checking every nail at each step to make sure the shape, length, thickness, and color were perfect. I thought I had picked a classic and simple design, an almond-shaped, thin, French tip, but soon realized that it's much more difficult to achieve than I expected. Still, she did not rush a single part of the process, even as other coworkers were leaving. She even explained to me the layering process and which colors she would layer to achieve the most natural look. We finished around 8:30pm (an hour after they closed). My total for the tips, shape, and design was only $60, and they have a rewards program that you can sign up for with your phone number. I work as a Marketing Coordinator for a local facial spa, and am frequently filming for social media and hosting events, so making sure my nails look "picture perfect" is of utmost importance. She is fastidious, works fast, has a great attitude, and is patient with me when I don't know what color I want. In fact, I usually let her make the final decision because she has a great eye for what fits me. She cares about the health of my nails and has kept my natural nails flourishing (see pics). The salon is in a great location with a wax place next door and a nice HEB in the same plaza. Getting a mani pedi and then grabbing groceries is a ritual to me now. Inside, it's clean, bright, relaxing, and all the massage chairs are in great condition. I don't have a specific person for pedis but all the ladies are great - very sweet and they do an awesome job. Great place overall. I don't go to anyone in particular but feel like I still feel consistent service. The location is conveniently located right next to H-E-B. The massage chairs are definitely a plus and more comfortable than most.They have a total of 7 televisions, 6 of which were working during my last visit. Most of the time I drop in as opposed to making an appointment. To date, I have never had to wait for a service. The staff pays attention to details and in my experience have yet to cut any corners or charge unexpected add on charges. Therefore, you can go in feeling confident in what you can expect. My moms nails looked super professional and she loved them, however, the technician that did her nails cut her twice and was a bit rough with her hand. I am one of the pickiest people when it comes to nail shops but I can 10% say I love their pedicures. If you're not huge on waiting and in a rush, the basic pedi is perfect. However, if you have a few minutes to spare the next pedi up is only $5 more and 100% worth it. Just came here and got the best pedicure of my life. I got the pearl pedicure which was nice, they do the standard pedicure, but they add an exfoliating gel with a hot towel and rub your legs down. They then soak your feet in this hot wax that soothes your feet and makes them smooth. They rub your legs down with lotion and then give you a 15 minute calf/foot massage. First visit with Tina: 5 stars I chose her due to Yelp reviews and I was not disappointed. Tina took her time and since it was my first time getting dip nails, she explained the process to me. She was easy to have a conversation with. I also was between 3 colors and she did not rush me to choose. I am writing the review 3 weeks after I got my nails done and I am still pleased with them. Only one has chipped (3 weeks to the day). Pictures include the day of, 2 weeks after, and 3 weeks after. The salon itself is very clean and the service was great. I made reservation, but they do walk ins. Update second visit: went in again and got helped by Helen. Got my dip removed which went well. Then just got a basic manicure to give my nails a break. This part of the experience is 2-3 stars. My cuticles look far worse than when I went in and some of them are extremely painful. Helen cut out way too much skin. I also asked for rounded square nail shape (which was what I already had so they just needed filed down a little) and I got uneven shapes. I went in and explained my issue to the manager and she asked Helen to correct it right away, which I very much appreciated. I wanted to love this salon and I did for a bit, but the last time I went in it turned into a disaster. I have never in the many years I've been getting my nails done have I ever had them done so badly. In the span of four days I had to go back and get four nails replaced because they broke. Two of them broke in the middle of my nail because the center of my nail wasn't reinforced with powder. I cannot begin to tell you how painful that was. The last time I went in the woman told me that I said I wanted my nails done with very little powder. This is a lie, my nails are generally pretty long so I definitely need them to be thicker so I don't break them. I have always loved my nails thicker and salons have always told me it looks terrible, but I never care. So I know for a fact I would never ask for my nails to be done thin. To add massive insult to injury, I moved on, went to a new salon to get a refill, they were done nicely and I went on my way. Then my nails started coming off in one piece as though they weren't glued down enough. So my refill that I got was useless and now I had to start all over. And let me tell you how livid I am. I tipped these people generously, I mean 25 to 30% every single time I went in there. I was kind, I enjoyed being there and for them to just do such a sloppy, terrible job is insulting. I want my money back so bad, but I know I won't get it. But I can tell you that I will never step foot in that awful salon ever again. It was just one terrible thing after another. They should honestly be embarrassed about how badly they do nails. I'm also adding another picture because just today, after my fill my nail (their nail) broke on both sides and started bleeding. I asked the ladies doing my nails and toes if by any chance they knew how to do a thin line like French nails but thinner and showed them a picture. Both said yes they did. Once one of the ladies doing my toes was doing the line too thick I told them if they could do it thinner like in the picture I mentioned and the lady got upset. She said that was the thinnest she could do... I told her it was fine just to not worry about it. My girls tried to surprise me and treat me to get my nails done. They called ahead of time to make sure they are open. We arrive at 6:45 they close at 7:30 and we're told that they only had one person and he didn't want to do it.
