This was my first time visiting Nail'ori, and I was immediately impressed by how clean and welcoming the space was. The check-in process was a bit more high-tech than usual. You enter your phone number to check for an existing account, which made things quick and seamless. What stood out most was how extremely friendly the staff was. From the moment I walked in, I felt genuinely cared for. Everyone I interacted with was kind, patient, and attentive. I came in for a traditional pedicure without gel and made sure to ask about the price difference between gel and regular polish before starting. I also asked to see the full service menu since it wasn't posted anywhere in the salon. During the service, I was offered a glass of white or red wine, or soda, which was such a thoughtful touch. My technician, whose name I unfortunately didn't catch, was warm, efficient, and gave me a thorough foot massage. She also placed a heated wrap on my neck, which added another level of relaxation. I had been hoping for the neck and shoulder massage I saw mentioned in other reviews, but I was told that it's only included with manicures. Given how friendly and accommodating everyone was, I would absolutely come back to try that next time. The prices are a bit higher than your average salon. My enhanced pedicure with regular polish came to $52. Gel polish is available for an additional $25, which felt steep to me, so I chose to stick with regular polish. Even so, the massage portion of the service was more intentional than what I've experienced elsewhere. It involved real pressure and kneading, not just a quick lotion rub. got my TAP set by jenny on the 24th paid $85 for one nail popped up after 6 days went back for her to put glue on the one nail popped up again after a few hours went back to the one nail to decided to redo the nail over charged me another $5 to fix it was very rude screaming saying that I gotta be charged since she fixed it trying to say that it's been more than a week and not true $90 for nails didn't last me six days not going back again won't recommend it even the owner very nice very friendly gentleman but the nail technician had the worst attitude when I went back was very rude no one deserve to be treated like that read more

I came in based the reviews and the salon's proximity to my place, and am so glad I did! Scheduling a shellac manicure and regular pedicure was super easy on the phone and they got me in immediately even on a busy Saturday. The salon is very clean, quiet, and peaceful. Definitely a great space to relax and get some quiet time in. I've been to so many salons that are chaotic and it's hard to relax, and this was definitely not one of them. They have a big selection of polishes and colors, and I was seated and offered something to drink immediately. The nail techs were very professional and efficient and both did a great job. It's rare that I leave a salon with shellac that hasn't bubbled or been messed up in some way. I'm really picky about how my nails are done because I typically do them at home, but I was more than happy with the results of both my manicure and pedicure. Importantly, both nail techs were super gentle with my hands and feet and checked in throughout the service to make sure I was happy with how things were going. The only comment I have to make is that as a first time customer, I wasn't aware that the shellac manicure option with a massage is $10 more. The massage was amazing and exactly what I needed after a long week, but I wish the pricing was a bit more transparent up front. First, the place is clean, beautifully decorated, nice pedicure chairs (with massage features) and armrests that extend out to have beverages (which they provide complementary) and personal items. Secondly the staff is friendly, attentive and professional. I routinely get pedicures, and upgrade to the Happy Feet service which includes hot paraffin wax, my favorite! My pedicure was awesome and looks great. But my acrylic nails are uneven and messy. They made my thumb bleed. I didn't have just one tech for my nails either. There was a lady beside me who asked for something very complicated and they catered to her, and kept coming back to me in between taking care of her. I had glue all under my nails on my skin.I told the tech, she told me that I just need to wash my hands....For $65 my nails should be flawless and SHE should've removed the glue. No exceptions. I shouldn't have to tell the tech anything. Nice staff, ok setting. Will be under going renovations next week. Idc about all that, I was just nice nails. I couldn't make it to my regular shop so I gave this place a try after reading Yelp reviews. This is a full service nail salon. They have one of the largest selections of Shellac colors I've seen. And, they are organized by color family which makes it easier to compare shades if needed. The spa pedicure chairs are comfy and a fresh plastic bag/liner is used for each customer. That's a big plus in my book. Both of the techs I had were very friendly and did solid work. I can be quite picky about my hands and feet and I left pretty pleased with the end result. In summary, I didn't appreciate the way she talked about her customers in Vietnamese while having her customers sit there clueless and questioning what she's talking about in her language. She didn't say anything mean in particular, but she reinforces the nail salon stereotype of trying to upsell you and saying something behind your back if you decline. Want perfection? Come here! They are so good at what they do! Every time I leave, I leave highly satisfied. Each of the girls working here are so sweet and never leave your wine glass empty....which is most important. :) The girl manager/owner can get a little rude sometimes. I've even seen her yell at some of the girls and almost bring them to tears. She has also been rude to a few customers. I love this place and go here at least twice a month. I was in the area and in need of a quick, basic manicure as my nails were a mess and I had dinner plans later that day. I stopped in on a weekday afternoon and was immediately seated. I paid $17 for the basic mani, and let me tell you - it was worth every damn penny! I am usually not one to make a big deal about the sub-par arm/shoulder massages you get at some salons, but this massage was the REAL DEAL! I'm not sure of the actual amount of time I was massaged, but I would guess 10-15 minutes. After the top coat was applied on my nails and they were drying, the manicurist gave me a very nice, neck/shoulder/upper back massage. She asked at one point if she could massage my head as well (which was really nice since some massage places just run their greasy hands thru your hair without asking). After finishing the included time, she asked if I wanted additional time (for an extra charge, of course), but I declined as I was in a rush for another appointment. 6/18/18 I know it's been a few years since my initial review but I just wanted to acknowledge the staff/owners for consistency. I still come in and get a great experience, there's still an abundance of colors to select (especially in gel) and the massages don't disappoint. I've used Annie, Cathy and Lin the past few visits to name a few and they're great(im sure everyone is awesome). I do suggest calling ahead bc they do tend to get really packed for the weekend , evening and lunch hours to secure a spot (makes it easier ...you can even call the morning of). The ladies here are very accommodating I've never had a mix up/ issue. Facility is clean and prices are reasonable for this area of town. If you live or work in/around the area def a must try! I drive from the heights now I used to live a few blocks away and just couldn't find a place that matched the service. read more

I've come here countless times. When I lived in Tanglewood, this was by far my favorite spot--5 stars, hands down! Recently, I came by to see if the service was the same... I'm not sure if it's because I came in 45 minutes before closing or what, but I didn't get the best mani/pedi (my polish didn't go all the way to the cuticle, and my toenails were clipped to where one of them is ingrown). On the color swatch card it was labeled as "SNS dip powder", however what they actually brought out in the coloR I selected was named "Chisel". I had two nails crack and chip within 2 days. Location: in strip center on San Felipe. Decor: not as fancy but everything was clean. You could see workers sanitizing the pedicure chairs. They sterilize the tools. Manicure: $15 and it lasted for 2 weeks and it wasn't even shellac. My nail technician took her time and did not rush my color choice or painting my nails. She also gave me a hand, arm, shoulder and neck massage too. They use lotion that they keep in warmers which is a nice touch. Spa chairs are on one side and manicure desks are at the other side. I love trying new nail salons & Nail'ori is by my work so I scheduled a last minute pedicure last Friday. Usually I wouldn't try a new place before going on a long weekend but I had heard a few good things about this place so I took the chance. The salon is located in one of the older strip centers off of San Felipe, so it is a bit 'long in the tooth' but very clean with new-ish spa chairs. I was immediately greeted when I walked in. I gave them my name & was asked if I wanted a manicure with the pedi. Oh heck, why not! Holly is very friendly with an easy smile, she immediately made me feel at home with her easy banter. She advised she would be working on my nails while Jeni did the pedicure. I am ambivalent about massage chairs, they usually hit me in all the wrong places while the "soothing" massage action pummels my spine to dust. Not this chair. This one, while it didn't hit all the right places, was gentle and had me relaxed in a few minutes. Holly & Jeni both did a wonderful job! They buffed, waxed, sea salted, massaged & polished my hand & feet to near perfection. So happy I found a place so convenient to work. First and last time! Horrible all around. The salon was dirty and my nails came out uneven, fat, and the gel polish on some of my fingers were thicker and bulging on the sides. The icing on top of a horrible service was paying $60 for a regular set of tips with gel polish. I get that it's uptown/galleria and I definitely don't mind the price. But if you want to charge uptown prices give me uptown service. read more
