This review is long overdue. I've been coming to this salon for several years now and the technicians here are some of the friendliest people you will ever meet. I've visited at times where it was almost closing hours and they still insisted on taking me in even though I offered to come back another time. The service is always great and services are reasonably priced. I come for just a basic pedicure which will run you $30. The building could use some TLC, it's a bit dated but other than that everything is great. read more

So I was just in the area a friend had an appointment next door so I decided to stop in to get a refill while i waited . Lynn did my nails & she did such a great job ! Absolutely love my French tip thank you dear ! I wasn't super sure about my toes as they hadn't grown out as much i just wanted a good foot scrub & when I tell you guys Cindy scrubbed & filed them so well !!!!! Man couldn't even tell I had spent two days running bare foot on the beach !! My heels looks so great ! & of course I got the French toes with the diamonds on the large toe ! I don't even like doing reviews but this place has high prices for the type of results you get. My service was a full set with gel and it was 65$. The shape is supposed to be square but it doesn't look professionally done, it looks like you're just starting to do nails. The gel is coming off after 1 week also. It's disappointing because if the work is not worth 65$ it shouldn't be that much. Here's before and after one week. read more

Okay I really debated on whether I should leave a review or not because the customer service was perfect. However, the job just wasn't. A friend and I were in town for an exam and needed to de-stress after. We called around for places that were open because it was getting late. He said if we got there by 6:30, we would be fine. We got there at 6:28. We could tell that one of the girls was annoyed. My friend got a pedi and solar nails. I got a regular acrylic full set. Normally, I get SNS because everyone's paint job is not all that. But, I had to get my nails done a week later, so acrylic was the best bet. The nails were looking great--good shaping and application. But the paint was so rushed that hours after the fact my nails never dried. I knew it would be an issue when he kept promising us that if they messed up we could come back. I literally took a shower 3 hours later and my nails and my friends pedi were destroyed. I'll give them another chance if I'm in the area, but I would rather them turn me away if they are ready to go home. read more

I came here 2-3 times but stopped because each time I came, I was pressured into getting more done than I wanted (even after saying no) and was left feeling disappointed each time. Pedicure was great, manicure... not so great. Guess which one I didn't even want done in the first place? The shaping on each nail was different, the dip powder wasn't done with precision so it just looked messy and rushed. If Lynn had done my nails, maybe it would've been a different experience, because people seem to love it when she does their manicures. I was excited to have a nail place such a short distance away but I'd much rather get my money's worth and go somewhere else where I am not constantly coerced to get more services done than what I came in for. It's cheaper than the heights but not worth the price. read more

I usually come often and get the same thing which has always been around 70-80 but today I was charged extra for cutting cuticles:/ that's usually apart of the service but for some reason she cut them and added it to my balance at the end without letting me know it was extra $ so obviously I had to pay . I usually like this place but today I was not satisfied and had to lower my tip amount read more

The prices were good but the pedicure I got wasn't satisfactory at all. The guy who did my pedicure didn't file my toenails evenly, he didn't thoroughly clean my toenails, he massaged my feet and legs like as if he really didn't want to do my pedicure. I definitely would NOT come here again. read more

I have been going to Lyn for my "dip" nails for over 7 years. I have had my nails done at many salons over the years, both in and out of Houston and I can say that Lyn is THE BEST!!! She's a lovely woman and very good at what she does. I dk how she does it but, on occasion, I've had to go weeks wo getting my nails done and they seem to last forever!! Yet she doesn't put them on too thick o they always look natural. While the salon doesn't have all the bells and whistles the newer salons have, the salon is clean and everyone is friendly and good at what they do. Highly recommend!' read more

When you make an appointment and four Unexpected clients come in with no appointment, may I add - and you were left there and they're running back-and-forth to the four other clients who JUST just walked in and you leave me sitting there?! I don't think so! That's bad business practice! I took the time, to make my appointment, and I wouldn't expect any anyone who made an appointment to be sit left sitting there, like I was. The very first time I walked in this place the people greeted me like I was family. I've never been to a nail shop that had friendlier service. These people have become apart of my family as far as I'm concerned and give great service! I came in today for a pedicure and they were so excited to see me they offered me wine. Of course I had to accept, because how rude would I be if I didn't? Hai and Lin always offer great conversation and there's never a dull moment in the shop. If you're ever in the mood to get great service, drink a bit, get a good massage, share a few laughs, or just need a quick nail touch up... This is the best place to go! N&T nails are fantastic and will get you right every time. You're sure to leave with a big smile and maybe a slight buzz, but never with a complaint! It's my second time back because how could I not? Lynn did an amazing job! She's a life saver went in for the first time, WOW Im so happy to have walked in, she was busy and still made sure that I felt comfortable and treated me great, I didn't feel rushed at any moment. She was very gentle on my nails, made sure to remove the acrylics without damaging my real nails. Decided to do powder on my natural nails the second time around for the first time and I've gotten so many compliments. She did an amazing job, I'm in love with the service and how long my acrylic set lasted (3 weeks). Love the service that they offer here. I will be coming here it's a 3 minute drive and the staff is always very nice and accommodating! read more

I love love love this nail shop!! I just went the first time yesterday. First off, they accepted me 30 minutes before closing which was really nice because every other nail salon was saying I cannot come in. Secondly, Lynn does nails so well and she is the sweetest woman ever! She painted my toes, waxed brows and did this amazing full set all in an hour! And the work is great she really did my brows well. Lynn is really nice too and the shop has good prices. I would recommend this place! I'll be back in two weeks. read more

This nails shop was pretty basic as far as the inside was. A few pedicure massage chairs. And a few nail stations. Not very impressive, but to be honest. Who needs all that fancy set up to be disappointed with the service. This place definitely was no disappointment when it came to customer service. The staff was extremely friendly. My birth name is TiJuan. And if I tell you the nail technician/ building maintenance/ maybe owner? Said my name about 20 times. Which was the funniest thing; and it laid a good foundation for a worker/ customer relationship. I'm all about good customer service. It wasn't s very large place. So I definitely would recommend making an appointment. They give you a 2 week guarantee on shellac. Which was the first time I have ever heard of a 2 week guarantee. Today is only tha second day and my nails look great. As long as I am living in midtown montrose. I will be visiting this nail salon. read more

Every time I come here the service is excellent. Rarely any wait time at all and I'm always happy with the results. The delux pedicure is really nice with good massage. I've gotten gel nails here as well and never had any problems, but of course they'll fix for free if you need it. The picture I've included is pre-quarantine after FOUR weeks with dip nails on. They were still in great condition, only pulling at the base on 1-2 nails and only slightly. At other places I have experienced them pulling up after only 2 weeks if not less. The price is reasonable. I'm so happy that they are back open now and if you're looking for a spot in midtown with kind people who do a great job, go visit them! read more

Called ahead to make sure they had time to do a gel pedicure. Came in was told it was 45$ for the gel pedicure, and then I asked the lady to file my fingernails and cut my cuticles. She filed them uneven and didn't touch my cuticles but still felt the need to charge me 15$ for a "manicure" even though they look the exact same and she didn't do anything. Last time I got my nails filed it was 5$. Told them I would never be coming back. Very disappointed. This nail place only cares about money not making guests satisfied. Very unfortunate read more

I'm new to the area and N and T is conveniently located near me. I went in at 5:30 pm on a Wednesday and had to wait for almost 30 mins to get seated. There was only three customers in there so why did I have to wait so long? Lynn did my dipped powder and it came out so mediocre. She didn't clean any of my cuticles and the polish looked unprofessional. Five days later one of my nails chipped! Lynn only applied two coats of dipped powder which with my prior experience nail salons put three coats. So the next day another nail chipped and broke. Lynn did say if the polish chips they would repair it for free but come on now, you should be able to do a good job the first time around. I paid $45 for a messy job. I'm so incredibly disappointed because this nail shop is located in a great area. I've never received such horrible service. read more

Customer service is top of the line! I went in for the first time on Thursday and got a full set 1 hour before closing and once I went home I felt my nails were not the perfect shape and too thick for my preference, after looking over some pictures I called Friday and they told me to come in. I went in Friday afternoon and they were so polite and they reshaped all my nails and redid my shellac with no charge and i am BEYOND happy with the outcome! read more

I REALLY like this place. It's really close to where I live and the people that work the place is SOOOO incredibly nice. They do all types of stuff... the usual which mani pedi but they also do eyebrows facials and they're really good on being realistic on time. If you don't have an appointment, they'll let you know if they can fit you in their schedule or not, so you won't be waiting around wondering when then hell are you going next. I definitely will be going back and I would recommend them to anyone! read more

I love walking in and not having to wait forever or needing to call or book ahead of time to be seen. Sometimes I just come when I can and every time they are able to see me. I love that it's never packed. There's always one or two people in at a time, which is nice and quiet. The prices are affordable unlike other places that have increased in price. Nancy greeted me & seated me and she was a sweetheart. I'm very picky about how I like my nails and my pedicures and Alfonso & Ella definitely satisfied my needs. Everything…read morewas great while being seated., but the lady at the front desk insisted that I get a pedicure and told me that my polish would be ugly on my feet if I didn't get the pedicure because of my cuticles, but I denied and I continue with polish change which my toes are wonderful, but my hands are horrible. The polish instantly started bubbling up once I left the shop within 2 to 3 hours and then I seen my polish coming off of my nails instantly and I chose gel polish which no polish Should do that at all. I felt rushed and I felt the lady at the desk was very pushy on what I should get. Not to mention I didn't even know they had refreshments because I wasn't even offered any.

I came in for a manicure pedicure. For the manicure, I wanted builder gel with design on a couple of my nails and pedicure. Just a regular gel pedicure Pedicure: if I come back again, it's only exclusively to get a pedicure done and that to a basic gel pedicure. And that's because of the 20% of discount that I can get. Other than that, even the pedicure was suboptimal. The massage was just a lady rubbing her finger around in circles around my foot and a little bit of my ankle. No pressure whatsoever and didn't even massage my calf. On top of that, everyone around me was getting a neck massage after or some sort of back massage. I didn't get anything like that. The pedicure cost for what I get is still pretty expensive including the 20% off discount where I might as well go somewhere else get everything I get for the same exact cost. Manicure: I'm actually embarrassed right now to show my nails off for the next month. I do nails at home so I have somewhat of an idea as to how the quality of the builder gel should look as well as certain nail paint and nail design. I got a cat eye done, and I can see the brush strokes of the nail paint on my nails of the cat eye. I can also see the difference of the layers that she did on my nails. I can see the basic nail paint then I can see on the side of my nail where she didn't cover my entire nail with the cat eye color. On top of that my nails are not rounded evenly. They are all not equal in length. The nail paint isn't even applied evenly. It's applied at an angle so you can tell where it's close to touching my cuticle to where there's a solid gap between my cuticle area and the nail polish. The design isn't even remotely close to what I showed her. When I made the appointment, I asked them to book me with someone who can do nail art because I've had bad experience with nail art not looking remotely close to what I show. They promised they would book me with someone who's experienced. I hate to say this, but I could have done a better nail art job by myself. The cherry on top for me was when I had to apply my own cuticle oil on my own nails. At the end of the day if I ever come back here, it's to get a basic pedicure done with the 20% off discount. They are not good at doing cat eye. I'm not saying this based off of my experience. I'm also saying it based off a couple of friends who got cat eye here and were disappointed. The level of work I got done with the 20% off discount is how much I pay at a regular nail salon so I might as well just go to regular nail salon especially if they up-charge here to then give me a " 20% off ".

On Holcombe in the same shopping center as CVS, if you are there, you are in the right place. Parking: Since this Shopping Center is so popular you may have a hard time finding a front spot, but because the parking lot is large, you will definitely get one. Just wait patiently for one or park a bit farther an get some steps in. Ambiance: This place embodies a garden them from start with silk rose bouquets, cherry blossoms and the like, this place is decorated for you to get lost in eden! This place must have like 100 nail bays, it seems huge. Service: Im almost always a walkin so I come in, give my name and number and wait to be seated. Today was my lucky day! I didnt have to wait long at all, which was amazing. I picked my color and we were ready to roll. I got the Paradise Pedicure which includes paraffin. Just coming from a 10K last weekend, it was much needed. Will I go back?: Absolutely! This is the only nail salon that does not make my legs itch with the products they use. Not sure what products they are using different than others, but I am quite cautious. I get a different person each time so I don't have anyone to recommend. I have been quite satisfied with the folks I have received.
