Quick service! Great nail experience! I like to get basic gel pedicures, and this spot was great and affordable. Basic pedicure starts at $30 + $15 for gel. I found it to be a fair price since pedicures can be so expensive. I came to this salon yesterday afternoon it's convenient because I can literally walk to the shop from my apartment. They sent me to the Richmond location because they were really busy. They did a good job on my hands and feet but I asked for almond and the more I stared at my nails I didn't feel like the shape was almond. I asked for acrylic with shellac on top. Without my consent the tech began dip powder. When I asked about it she just told me it was better and continued. I did get shellac on top, and now 15 minutes after leaving the salon it is peeling. In the attached photo you can also see where I was cut on my index finger during the cuticle care. The shape is sloppy, the paint is peeling, my nails look like they have bubbles on top. Pedicure was fine. Nothing wrong but also nothing super special to recommend it. Over $100 for the mani and pedi. I am so disappointed and will now have to go elsewhere to have my nails fixed. read more

However, a handful of walkins fussed over the 10- to 15-minute wait ... which made all these ladies work ferociously fast - and sloppy. My pedi was so-so, but the other woman doing my mani and working the cuticle cutter was cutted away like a madwoman; she was rough and simply awful. Paint was everywhere, too. Day two and my nails are already chipping; the coat of paint is thin and the buff job pathetic. Worst of all, she requested a $10 tip. "I keep change?" Uh, no. I came by with a friend after dinner at the restaurant around the corner to kill time during rush hour traffic. They run a special of $35 for a basic mani/pedi but the pedicure does not include the scrub, callous removal or massage. They got me to upgrade the package. I ended up paying $50 for the mani pedi/callous removal/massage upgrade, but none of it was actually very memorable. The heels of my feet are very dry still and you would not even know I just got a pedicure two days ago. The nail polish job on my fingers isn't quality that's paid for. Great service. Friendly staff. Quality work. My boyfriend and I came in for a mani/pedi and we're both very pleased with the results. They also included a rather luxurious shoulder massage for both of us. Though they did inform us that we could pay $6 for an extra ten minutes. We opted out of the extra charges but the initial massage was a great treat. My nails looked great and they did an incredible job on his callouses. I likely would have given this location 5 stars, but I did not feel that it was as clean as it could be. However, I will be back! read more

This is the closest nail salon to me so it is where I usually end up going. For $30 you get a decent manicure and pedicure while sitting in a comfortable chair (kind of like a LA-Z Boy that vibrates) with your feet in warm jacuzzi bath. The ladies who work there are sweet, efficient and friendly. InStyle Nails gets super-packed on the weekends so I always call to make an appointment beforehand which they are very good about honoring. I generally make an appt. with "Na" as she gives a great, firm leg massage with her pedicures. The only thing that bugs me about this place (apart from the crowds) is that the moment I tell my manicurist that I only want clear polish on my fingernails, she kind of checkouts and thereafter does very little. Half the time, they rub oil on my fingernails at the end of the session and walk away w/o putting any clear polish on. read more

Okay okay okay where to even start was told to come here by a good friend while I was in town. Had a group of six guys we all probably waited about 20 mins before they could fit everyone in. The head lady was really nice very pleasant and welcoming telling us she would get us in right around the time she said 20 minutes. We were all taken back to the back they took their Covid precautions pretty serious everyone has to wear a mask inside the establishment, there is dividers of plastic Curtains between every pedicure seat to make sure you are well protected and safe. I got the deluxe spa pedi/ mani which consisted of a personal massage, leg massage, forearm massage, hot stone rub, obviously mani, pedi. When I say I felt like a true King getting pampered in that seat today. I felt truly pampered. I didn't catch the name of the nail technician who did my mani/ pedi but she personally gave me the best mani/ pedi I've gotten to date. She was really sweet and pleasant she took her time with everything she did nothing felt rushed, I wasn't just another customer in her eyes she really was the best. Another one of co-workers also came over to help with the fore arm massage and hot towel rub she was very sweet and pleasant also. The head lady at the time made sure the whole group was taken care of she gave great conversation to each of us making sure we were all taken care of. The overall staff was really great to the whole group that I came in with. I would recommend this place to anybody in the Houston area truly a gem! Overall customer service is a 10! I came here with a group of girls from work during the week to get our nails done for the holiday. I got acrylic on my hands and I wasn't really impressed with the quality. I have Multiple bubbles throughout the polish on multiple fingers. They didn't do a good job cleaning the cuticles before applying the polish either. Also my technician was not paying attention she kept having my put my painted nails in the light and she wouldn't turn the machine on. I had to keep reminding her. Also after asking what polish color I wanted she went to put the person sitting next to me's color selection on me and I quickly corrected her. I noticed part way through and asked her to skip the massage part, douse my fingers in alcohol and put on a glove. She refused to put on a glove because all she had to do was paint my nails. Unbelievable. Extremely disturbing and DANGEROUS. Find another place and inspect your technicians fingers before risking infection. read more

I had a good experience here. It was very affordable, 30 dollars for a pedicure and manicure. Can't beat that. I called at 6 and said I was coming in, greeted promptly and there were two people working on me immediately. The spa chairs could have been more comfortable, and I would have liked to be able to control the massager myself. I had to ask whenever I wanted something changed. One lady worked on my feet but she switched when her regular client came through the door. I thought that was a bit rude, but whatev, I don't play favorites. The pedicure was fine, although she asked if i wanted to upgrade. I did. I got some more lotion slathered on my legs, warm towel wrap and maybe some more scrubbing and massage. I don't know if it was worth it since I never got the basic. manicure was decent and comes with a back massage. The ladies were friendly and we had good conversation. The mani pedi was done in about 40 mins. I wanted to sit in the chair but it was closing time and I felt rushed to leave. No worries, I don't dock points for closing time! I will come back. Good prices and friendly, competent staff. The only constructive criticism I can ask if to have plastic liners in the tub bath (i would feel much cleaner). read more

If I could give it no stars, I would... by far the WORST manicure I have ever received. The technician did a really sloppy job filing my nails, cut my skin in several places when removing the cuticles and didn't even do a good job getting rid of the cuticles. She didn't clean the nails properly- I'm an artist and I work with charcoal and paint; there was absolutely no attempt to clean the charcoal off of the underside of my nail (I had to resort to asking for the tool so that I could do it myself after she had finished). After cutting my skin several times, she did not put anything to disinfect the cuts and let the blood run so that it is visible in my newly done manicure. The first attempt at painting my nails there were major bubbles on two of the fingers and a piece of cotton on one and when I asked her kindly if she could redo it (I hadn't said anything the entire time she was doing my nails, just watched and tried not to look too horrified) she gave me an attitude and very obviously annoyed redid the two nails just as sh*tedly as she had done the first time. I'm going to a fancy dress event and will certainly have to redo my nails myself because of how horrible they look. read more

Been going here for 10+ years, Maggie is super friendly and cares about customer satisfaction. Many of the techs are inconsistent, but for price, it's reliable for most part. Language barrier can make for difficulties if you have specific requests or concerns. Unless I pay for upgrade on polish, It doesn't last very long. Like some reviews here, sometimes I get a real buff , but often it's more like a " go thru motions " buff. If on a budget, good buy. Otherwise pay more, get more elsewhere. read more

Another nail review! woohoo! This is fun! I went here on a whim! I needed my nails done STAT, and this was the first strip center nail place that caught my eye. One good thing...I got in right away, but it stops there. They didn't have my signature color (Lincoln Park After Dark). I usually have a bottle with me, but again, this was on a whim. I went with the next best thing (You Don't Know Jacques). The pedicure and manicure were mediocre...not a lot of attention to detail and my manicure hand massage was barely two minutes long! The pedicure was a little better, but again not a lot of attention to detail...cuticles have looked better! The polish job was the biggest disappointment. It wasn't that bad until I started looking a little closer. It had already started to bubble up. The top coat had made small clear bubbles on my polish...not really the look I was going for. I didn't really mention it to the ladies, so they may have tried to fix it, but I had to run to my event! Anyway, if anyone knows me, they know that I am a nail salon, ummm addict, so I jump from place to place until one hooks me...still haven't found it! read more
