I randomly came in for a pedicure and the hostess greeted me and directed me to pick my polish. Once I chose the color he directed to a chair, and I'm glad I didn't have to wait. I got a hot tea and enjoyed my service. It was clean, quiet vibe. My manicurist did a great job, and I appreciate the extra care and attention to my free edge on my toe nail with the top coat to ensure that polish will stay. I will be back for any future pedicures! read more

Yelp brought me to CoCo and I am so happy! The salon is very pretty and well decorated. I've never had to wait ans the service is very friendly and efficient. They have made me a believer of a full set because I usually hate them but the nails last a good 3 weeks before they start looking raggedy. The pedicure and massage felt amazing everytime. I have a janky nail from an accident years ago and they have been able to work their magic each time. They also have a point system and I am alla out the rewards! read more

Oh my. I'm scared to write this review as I don't know if I want people running to this hidden gem. I was in need for a new nail tech in Houston. I called and made and appointment with a tech based on a friends recommendation. Not only did this heaven sent tech satisfy my every expectation and more but she has me as a new regular. Management is also super helpful and caring. There is ample parking available too which is a plus in Houston. I also found the salon to be reasonably priced. read more

Mai & MiMi were so awesome on my first visit to Coco Nail Spa! I needed a pedicure before the Labor Day weekend and didn't get to leave the office in time for my usual place. Since Coco stays open till 730 I had time for a mani / pedi before they closed without feeling rushed. I chose the milk & honey pedi & classic manicure. The pedi came with the usual leg/foot massage AND a neck massage! After painting my toes, she got up to do my neck massage while they dried. I totally forgot about it so I was super happy! I come here all the time and this was my first mildly negative experience apart from them wanting to use the cheese grater every time. I booked for a pedicure and acrylic set. Pink with cherries on toes and Pink French tip with cherries on hands. They accommodated me, but it seemed like they were frustrated with me asking for what I wanted. Especially the lady doing the pedicure. I showed her the design before hand that clearly had cherries and she forgot. To be fair I booked for a 6:30p appointment and the ladies were probably ready to go. My mom asked for a design on her big toe and the lady spoke to her like it was too much work. She did not end up getting a design. I usually have a good experience, but I've noticed the more I come the more it seems they are reluctant to accommodate and I tip $20 each person at a minimum. read more

Loved this place until recently I had a bad experience. One of my toenails was messed up and they put acrylic over it without telling me. About a week later it started lifting, so I called and went back to get it fixed. That's when I realized my real toenail was damaged. I already paid $90 two weeks before, but they tried to charge me $85 to fix their mistake. I was told I wouldn't have to pay anything, but at checkout they only wanted to take a little off. The price kept changing from $85 to $40, then finally $25 after I questioned it. I'm really unhappy with the service and how everything was handled. I was told that they will be needing to hear both sides of the stories when I do not cut my own toe nails at home so it's impossible for me to have done that myself, a lady who did my toes prior knows my toe did not look like this and we did not have to use acrylic because she did not cut my nail off read more

I typically come here to get dip nails and they do a great job. Today I just wanted a regular mani pedi, and the service was so different. As soon as I told them I wanted regular and the quickest (cheapest) pedi, the women doing my pedi basically ripped the menu out of my hand. They rushed through, and did not do a great job. My nails are cut so unevenly and weren't cleaned up as much as usual. The paint on my toenails is sloppy. The girl literally seemed to be going as fast as she could to show off or something. Even when I was checking out I felt they were being rude. It's really disappointing to see the difference in customer service. I know they are capable of doing a good job but they refuse to do so unless you get the more expensive package. read more

Decided to venture out to a salon outside of my normal no-nonsense nail salon. Since Coco's was open a little later and I was jonesing for some nail TLC, Coco Nail Spa did not disappoint. Bedside manner of manicurist & pedicurist was straightforward, professional & down to business while ensuring I was comfortable and relaxed. I have patronized this business off and on for about a year and a half now. This nail bar is very consistent with their work and I believe they do a great job. Back when I initially started coming here, Chloe was my nail esthetician that I would go to the most. But she stopped working here and I stopped coming for awhile. I began coming here consistently this year and discovered Ricky and Kevin are fantastic estheticians and those two are my preferences for my nails. For pedicures, I often just depend on whoever is available. Like most salons, they cover the bowls with plastic and use new equipment for each customer. I'm not too specific on pedis. I believe if a salon at minimum is hygienic, uses sterile equipment, removes callouses from your feet, and gives you the service you pay for then that's good enough for me-as far as pedicures go. At peak times it can get a little cramped since it's not that gigantic of a place so I usually like to go during week day mornings. Signup for the text message deals they send periodically. They have an ongoing happy hour deal during the week for 15% off services over $60. They are located across the street from HEB and on the same side as Kroger. This business is top on my list for their reliability. read more

Only went here because there was a four star rating. This was my very first time at this location for starters. 1) I walked up to the door and I can see the girl in the guy at the reception desk looking at me through the door as if what is this black lady doing here. 2) I told them that I wanted a takeoff and they overlay on my nails with regular polish. The guy proceeded to convince me to get shellac. I don't want shellac because I change my polish very often. They gave me to a rookie who was obviously just starting out because she didn't know what a top coat polish meant. 3) there was no care or consideration taken into my service, I was put under the hand dryer after my polish into never to be checked on after that I paid $55 to feel cheap and unwanted. Didn't even get lotion on my hands after or asked how was my service just have a good day. read more

Horrid experience. Walking distance from my house. Thought I would try. I arrived they said they could accommodate me now. I sat in a chair. Manager said 15 to 20 minutes, after they put me in a chair. Nail factory, if that is what you like. I sat 30 plus minutes and 5 people came after me and were seen while I waited. I asked about it. Manager said 4 people had appointments. I totally get it. I did not. No need to lie and say 15-20 minutes. My time is priceless and none to waste. Last lady was getting acrylic so she claimed she would go before me also. As a buisness owner of 20 plus years, beyond unimpressed. Stay away! read more

When I walked-in, I was greeted kindly and the wait time was nonexistent. The place is basic with white walls, ~4-6 private rooms and 1 restroom (accessible). I was offered a special on a Brazilian (buy one, get one free). Now, the follow-up session went better than I expected. The tech was mindful of the wax's temperature and asked me before starting. I've been burned before at a different shop, so this aspect of the experience made all the difference. The second time I was here I agreed to waxing my underarms for something like $22. She didn't hold my skin tight enough and it hurt more than it needed to. My skin was extra raw and still not smooth, no oil afterwards. I carry a roll on coconut oil so that helped me out. While I'm accustomed to waxing--creams, powder, strips, sugar, etc.--no aftercare counseling provided. They is a poster on the room's wall I was in that covers a few key points, but it is not enough information. The location is convenient. The tone at my crown didn't match my ends, there was brassiness that never fully went away, and now, a few washes later, that brassiness is already creeping back. On top of that, my hair ended up noticeably darker overall than what I wanted in the first place. I also went in for what should've been a simple trim, and way more length came off than I asked for (and I've spent years trying to grow out my hair). At the end of the day, I paid a lot of money and went through multiple appointments, and I still didn't get the color or the cut I asked for. Really disappointing for the price.

My natural nails are super long and strong--people always ask if they're fake! The products they use don't leave dips in my nails and my nails are so protected that they survive at least a month of daily typing, furniture assembly, and playing with my energetic dog. I don't usually leave negative reviews, but I feel it's important to share my recent experience at Coco Nails Spa. Unfortunately, it was not a pleasant visit. While the staff was polite and the salon appeared clean at first glance, the quality of service and hygiene practices left much to be desired. Shortly after my manicure, one of my fingers became noticeably swollen and painful. I later had it checked and was told it was an infection, likely due to improper sanitation or a rough technique during the cuticle trimming. This was not only uncomfortable but also disappointing, as I came in expecting a relaxing and safe experience. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and reviews their sanitation protocols and training practices. A nail salon should be a place of care and cleanliness, and unfortunately, that was not my experience here. I won't be returning, but I genuinely hope improvements are made for the sake of future customers because this was truly disappointing and disgusting. They wouldn't refund us even after the manager (Rose) saw it. read more

Extremely rude owner who has ZERO experience on how to work this salon. I've been to many salons before and I have to say this is by far the worst one. The only reason I go to this one is because it was close to where I live. The owner has NO manners. All the techs there are also rude with no manners. Fortunately I can understand Vietnamese and often times I can always hear them cussing and basically talking shit about customers (not just me!). Just to reiterate: the owner is a terrible person who is extremely rude. She has zero responsibility and whatever mistakes she makes she would blame it on someone else (I know because I can hear them speak about it in vietnamese). Word of advice for the owner: own up to your own mistakes, learn some damn manners because you are RUDE AF read more

The pedicure and manicure was ok. I've had better. I was mostly irritated by the nail techs speaking Vietnamese while working. I actually understand Vietnamese although born here and it was not very professional. My sister got dipping manicure but she was very disappointed because it was not shaped to her liking. The salon is very nice and clean itself. I think the nail techs could be more experienced and professional. Athough on their website it states first time customers get 20% off through 8/31. I went yesterday and did not get my 20% off since it was my first time. I will not be returning. I can pay the same price and get better quality in the area at another salon. Beautiful place, and very sweet employees. Definitely enjoyed my experience here while I got a shellac on my nails and toenails. I like having my nails done, but was never fond of GETTING them done. The nail techs here (wish I had gotten their names now) were very gentle but quick. I was able to get out in a little less than an hour. The places I've gone to in the past usually rush and do a horrible job and make me bleed, this was not the case here. I will definitely be returning. It was a bit pricey, but very good service and overall results of my nails. Thanks! read more
