I love this place they always take great care of me. I'll definitely be coming back they also have great drinks read more

Warning.. this place is still pretty inconsistent. The biggest RED FLAG for me was she DID NOT open a new sterile set of tools, it was from her basket and after she was done, she placed it BACK in her basket. Massage was just doing the motion/rubbing in the lotion and barely any pressure at all. During the shoulder massage, She then proceeded to wipe the lotion on her hands on my dress. I haven't come back since a bad dip set a few years ago and tonight's service was pretty bad. Inconsistency is terrible.. not sure what else to say. read more

I was looking for a new nail salon in the area to go to and saw the incredible reviews for Coco, so I came in as a walk-in. I was so happy to be taken care of quite quickly. Firstly, I would like to say that the tech helping me with my pedicure and eyebrows was incredible (I did not catch her name). She did a fantastic job and was welcoming the entire time. Unfortunately, the tech doing my Gel X and polish was rude and overwhelmingly rough with my nails. He started by making fun of the way I was holding my hand while he glued the extensions on and aggressively bent my fingers into how he liked, but he only gave me the top of a nail polish bottle to balance my finger on. Another tech was sitting and talking to him the entire time, laughing at me when I did something they thought was weird. I didn't really feel upset by this at first, as it was probably annoying that I couldn't balance my hand the way they wanted. I asked for my extensions to be a little shorter as I wear contact lenses, and he cut off a bit, so I asked to go just a little bit shorter. He proceeded to cut a bit more off, then passive aggressively filed away most of the length. I understood that I was likely not going to get what I wanted, so I decided to not say anything and get the manicure over with so I could eventually leave. Then, he used a drill to get rid of my cuticles, which was so incredibly painful, I cannot explain. He saw me bleeding, and I was too embarrassed to say anything. Again, I kept my mouth shut as the final product was going to be fine (I hoped). I was not even going to leave a review at this point. As I was getting my eyebrows done, I heard him talk to another client outside about how "someone just got super short nails and wanted them even shorter" while they laughed loudly. In the end, as you can see in the pictures, the nails were crooked and hastily done. I did not care at this point, as I just wanted to pay and leave. I asked for a wipe at the front and showed my bleeding cuticles. I got an apology. I was so upset on the way home and the bleeding got even worse, so I decided to give them a call. I explained what happened as I wanted them to know that the bleeding was worse. They asked me to come into check, which was very kind; however, I declined as I did not want to go back crying and seem like I was being unreasonable. I explained that I was looking forward to coming in and supporting a local business instead of the nail chain I usually go to. I really wish that I could give this a higher review because my pedicure and eyebrows came out wonderfully. It's so unfortunate as I do feel like $100 was wasted and I came out bleeding and in pain. read more

I visited Coco Nail Spa today for the first time because my FAVORITE nail tech Vivian works there now. I had a wonderful experience. The staff was friiendly and welcoming and Vivian did an amazing job as usual! Visit and ask for Vivian! read more

The salon is very bright, airy, and always super clean. The owners seem to care a lot of the cleanliness of the salon and it shows. While the salon can be busy at times, it is always a relaxing, chill environment. A couple of years ago, I followed my nail tech (Ricky) to this salon. Ricky has been doing my nails for 5+ years, which is a testament to his expert and meticulous skills. He is a perfectionist and it shows in his work. I live in the Memorial area and have driven to the salon in rush hour traffic many times - simply because Ricky is that good. As for pedicures, I never ask for anyone specific and I've always had a great experience. They have a lot of pedicure options on the menu, all of which are reasonably priced for the service. Everyone who works at this salon is super kind and welcoming. They also have a rewards program! read more

Pricy but we'll done mani/pedi job. Had the gel nails and regular pedi. Total $75 - I love their interior and air quality was good. Very busy place, be sure to make an appt. Two gals were assigned to me- one for toes and another for hands. They work fast and did a good job. I have thin cuticles so I asked that they not cut any away but to just do a bit of clean up. The gel nails have lasted 2 weeks so it's time to get another appt. read more

Coco Nail Spa - After 2 weeks- nails still look good outside of growth. - Nail Salons Near Me - Houston, Texas

Things have changed a lot recently -- and not in a good way. Earlier this month, I had a terrible experience with one of the male nail techs. I simply tried to explain how I wanted my nails, and instead of listening, he completely lost his temper. He cussed me out, stood over me yelling aggressively, and even snatched items off my station. His attitude was completely unprofessional and his customer service was horrible. No one deserves to be treated like that, especially when they're paying for a service. It's really disappointing to see how far the customer experience has declined here. I won't be returning after that. read more

Coco Nail is my favorite nail salon in the world! I go all of the time. The Golden Feet pedicure is my favorite. Excellent quality, and the pedicure comes with a shoulder massage--so relaxing. I recommend with no reservations! read more

Relaxing manicure and the staff was very friendly with me and my girlfriend. Would definitely recommend to everyone in Richmond area.

Hands down my favorite place for a pedicure! I don't have a regular tech, but every single person I've had has been wonderful. The management is always friendly and checks in to make sure you're comfortable, and they're constantly offering drinks (usually more than once!). The salon is super clean, the staff really cares about their clients, and I always leave feeling relaxed and refreshed. I come about twice a month and won't go anywhere else! read more

Service was great! 10/10 recommend. Great vibe and offered complimentary drinks. Did exactly what I asked and made sure I was okay throughout my service read more

Decided to try out Coco Nail yesterday for and I was happy with the results. Staff are friendly and the place is clean, but the music was dull and almost put me to sleep. I couldn't do anything on my phone while I was getting my nails done so I just sat there and waited to finish. I normally go to Milano down the street and at least they have TVs and decent music lol. Maybe I'll try a pedicure here next time and see how that goes. But overall, I like this place and would totally go back. read more

Once again CoCo nail spa has worked their magic. Very happy with my nails. I showed Thanh my inspo and she rocked it. Kim was amazing on my pedicure and that shoulder massage after the pedicure was so good. Thank you Rose for making sure every visit is perfect. read more

They were amazing !! My nails came out very well and the techs were so nice and attentive. I even got a good tasting mimosas !!

Went to COCO Nails Alexis and Kim were great, clean salon friendly staff. Will return.

First time here. Very clean and nice interior. My deluxe pedicure was $44 and dip nails with tip Was $60. I did enjoy it bc it was done fast and pedi massage was really good. However , it was not a full 3 min shoulder massage. My nails I did like but the finish around nails was messy. I tried to get attention of front lady to tell her but she acknowledged me and then ignored me. When my pedicure person came back, he told me to Wash my hands and it would go Away; didnt. Wasnt worth trying again bc once they are done with you , seems like they don't care. I would come back again bc they had a lot of colors. Mixed feelings ... started off good but at the end , the service wasn't exemplary. read more

I made an appointment for wax and nails, the nail salon had no ideas that I had the appointment. The nails were done good and very professional but the lady(Thahn) was not nice. When I I asked her to fix a few minor things she waved her hand (like this is bs) which made me feel uncomfortable and disrespected.I got charged $60 for dip on natural nails, even that it said on their website $55, when I asked why additional $5 they said it's for oval shape and any other salon would charge extra for oval shape. I went to many other nail shops and they would only charge for caffeine and almond shape. They also specified that they can't include all minor things in their website and I have to go with whatever price they tell me. Then I showed then 15% off coupon from yelp and they told me they ain't giving me 15% because they only give 10% off to the new clients. They also claimed that they do not have yelp page. It seems like the owner of the place doesn't keep their stuff updated. Btw on their website 4 min was specified as part of service, did not got even a second of hand massage. Wax service wasn't provided. Idk why but I guess they didn't feel like it. Even that I remind them like 3 times. Drink options are poor. Soda, coffee and 3 alcohol options. Drinks are okay-ish... Overall nails were done very professional, but just because of stuff that is being mean, and not updated I have to give one star. Owners please do some trainings with your staff. They do amazing nails but do not provide good costumer service.... The manager has contacted me, she is being aggressive and threatening to sue me, because I took a photo of the salon where she was passing by. Dear manager, if you decide to sue me for posting a picture of inside or sharing that you threatening me, here are screenshot of the law. This is not about the price but about fake advertisement and awful customer service where manager instead of apologizing is threatening their clients, and nail technicians do not take costumer concerns seriously. Awful costumer service with great nail quality. If you do not mind being treated poorly by staff and all you care is a quality nail place then it's definitely place to go. To me it's a big no no. I will never be back at this place. read more

Came here for the first time for my birthday with my boyfriend. I had made a reservation a week in advance for an appointment for 2 pedis at noon and was easily able to call 2 days prior to change the time to 12:30PM. We arrived 30 minutes early and were asked to check in at the counter on the ipad they had set up. Then the young gentleman at the counter asked if we wanted to add anything else to the 2 pedis we had already scheduled and I added the very basic mani for myself. Afterwards, we were seated immediately next to each other. I had Kim who did my pedicure and Winnie who did my manicure. My boyfriend had another lady (don't remember the name). The ladies were very quiet, not very social. I guess they're just use to working and not conversing with their client to get to know who they are. The ladies had earbuds in one of their ears so it was kind of off-putting. I would have appreciated conversation since they don't have any TVs in the parlour for clients to watch and especially since they're doing my manicure i can't read my book. Service overall was good, my mani and pedi came out fantastic. There were complementary drinks offered, when we were seated, I asked for a mimosa but it didn't come out until half way through my pedicure because the gentleman at the counter forgot. he also didn't deliver my boyfriend a water until halfway through the service. I asked if they did a birthday discount which they did 10% off the entire bill. We gave cash to each lady for tips and they did ask for my drivers license to check that it was my birthday. I would come back here since the service was good and the ladies I had did a great job on my nails to clean up my cuticles and they used gel polish I had brought with me. read more

Me and my sis came to get out nails done spending well over $200. 3 days later acrylic French tip toes were chipping and both pinky nails fell off. I came to have them repaired today and after sitting me down for repair their high strung manager pointed my nail tech in another direction and told me to wait 15 mins. Also, during our initial visit they poured us a 1/4 cup of wine and proceeded to pour the rich white men across from us full cups. Additionally, AFTER coffin filing natural nails of my sisters service with no gel or acrylic we were asked if an up charge was ok after the service was done rather than before. My previous set of nails before this experience was a full set which lasted less than a week. I didn't complain then but I am now. Please take your time and be clear on pricing prior to service and treat all customers fairly! read more

Went in today for a mani/pedi and was excited to try their pedicure services. (I've come in before for a manicure and was honestly not impressed with the lackluster customer service but wanted to see if this time it might be better given that the decor is nice. On my first visit, a young male technician rudely/nosily asked if I lived in the area - "You live over here?" - and what I did for a living, I guess implying that he didn't think I belonged.) For starters, when coming in for a "dip" service, they DO NOT want to actually give you a proper manicure - instead charging "extra" to soap and cut cuticles as if all they want to do is change polish and re-apply the dip to your nails. Let me re-iterate, there is absolutely no real manicure at all unless you ask repeatedly. Then, this time around, I left with very visible nail polish all around the nail bed only to have them reply when questioned that it would come off with more hand washes. WTH? Why not just fix it now and clean up around the edges if you can't paint (or in my case, "dip") inside the lines? I regret that I even tipped them at all after seeing how bad my thumbs looked in the (outdoor) light. Lastly, as I was paying, I forgot my sneakers given my feet were in the disposable footies post-pedicure. NO ONE bothered to tell me my shoes were still by my chair nor call me later to let me know I'd left them. (They make you "sign in" with your cell phone # so they have your contact information.) I literally got all the way home, into the house and had to drive back over to the salon later. Awful attitudes! Absolutely no customer service at all. Today was my last time. Will not be going back ever. read more

OK, so this is my first time here and I absolutely love this place. The manicure was super detailed. She gave me exactly what I wanted. As well as the pedicure. I would highly recommend. 10 out of 10.!!! read more

I tried this place on 3 separate occasions and the 3rd was the last and final time. The nail technicians are not kind. Rude and lacks proper customer service. The nail tech I experienced on June 6 was incredibly impersonal, I could not even allow her finish. read more

This nail spa is not the best when it comes to customer service. They do not seem to really make you feel at home but instead try to get you in and out as quick as possible. I went with my partner and she only wanted to get her acrylic nails off but they charged her for a manicure on top of the base charge for removing acrylic nails and they did not even give her a manicure! I would not recommend you go here if you want good customer service. read more

Sad to have a negative update for this review. I returned a week ago for another pedicure. This time, Han provided my service. She was so kind and hardworking, but she did something really painful when cleaning up the sides of my big toe. I usually can handle some pain, but I couldn't hold back the groan on this one. Shortly after, it happened again, and an "ow" escaped my mouth. I thought she had taken off a chunk of skin as my toe looked rather raw, but I'm not sure if there was any bleeding as she put a liquid over it right away. My toe hurt for the rest of the day and has been aching since. I believe it became infected a few days later, as pressure on the area produced significant pain. Really unfortunate experience! read more

I thoroughly adore this place. All the nail techs are so sweet, and they can execute all the designs you give them. They provide complimentary drinks and remember you if you come back, and they have a good points system as well to earn some money back. I have been getting my nails done here for over a year and if you see the photos attached, my nail tech here has been able to execute all the designs perfectly, even the extremely complicated ones. I recommend this place for all nail lovers, and they do the absolute best work yet in Houston on acrylic nails and designs. They have a great selection of colors and all their nail techs are highly skilled and trained. Their pricing is reasonable for the quality of the work. read more

This is my go to nail salon and they're not 100% perfect but I love them. It's really cute and clean inside and they play relaxing music and offer drinks, hand massage chairs, all that. Great location too, but they get VERY busy frequently. I wouldn't mind so much but I've had a couple times where they promise 20 minutes and it ended up being more like an hour + which then made me late for work, but they have not had an incident like that since. Everyone is super nice and As you can see, they did an amazing job on the clear nails but I forgot to get that particular techs name. They said she was the best one. But no one could figure out who did them when I came back for my fill in. It would be 5 stars if I only had that nail tech every time. She might be the best nail tech I've ever had. Everyone else is good enough though for me to be satisfied, except for this one male tech, he did a nail repair and it was borderline hilarious how bad it looked compared to the others. Also the pedicures here are the best I've had in my life. They really pay a lot of attention and give amazing shoulder massages read more

Wow. I am sad to be writing this because I normally love going here. I got my nails done two weeks ago and noticed my nail turning brown underneath the acrylics. After taking off the acrylics, I discovered my nails were filed so thin, that they cracked in half. My nail was decaying underneath the acrylic from the damage. I had an AMAZING experience. The salon itself was beautiful on the inside but what really made this worthy of a review was the service! Mind you this is the first time I have ever been motivated to write any sort of review. The man at the front desk was super welcoming and had a great smile. My nail tech was Sam and she was fantastic at hospitality and listened to any little request I had. What was even better, when she wasn't sure how to go about shaping one of my nails ( it required extending nail gel ) she made sure to grab someone who was more experienced with it. She took her time to watch the process, I could tell she wanted to learn it better and i was grateful that she made sure I was able to get exactly what I wanted when it came to my nails. The price for the service did not match, i made sure to tip because she really deserved it. I recommend highly read more

For whatever reason during the pandemic, I convinced myself I was really good at painting my own nails - and my recent trip to Coco Nail Spa was the my first real manicure since March. I felt very well protected + there was a plexiglass partition up between my manicurist and myself. She did an excellent job - shaped my nails nicely, treated my cuticles right, and did a perfect job with the deep red gel paint. I was sorely reminded I am not as good of a manicurist as a I thought. I'll be back at Coco during my next visit to Houston! read more
